Speaker 3 (00:43):
So what was your biggest lesson for 2024?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
The biggest lesson for me was understanding that I
don't have to learn somethingnew.
I just need to be reminded ofwhat I already know.
And that is something that I'mreally focusing on this year,
because it's a lesson that Ilearned in 2024, is that going
back to kind of like what reallyinspired me before?
There's a lot of differenttimes in my growth journey that

(01:11):
I've really gained momentum orreally felt inspired or
motivated, and I went back tosee what I was doing, from
something as seeminglyinsignificant as what book I was
reading, what workout I wasdoing, things like that.
So that way I can recreate thatexcitement and that feeling

(01:32):
that I had when I was really onfire.
So that's what I learned.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
A lot of times we learn lessons through, like pain
or through things that westruggle with right.
So when you think about that, when you think about that lesson
that you learned, is there astory that's attached to it or
something that happened that gotyou to see?
More than learning new things,I gotta be reminded of, like the
things that I already know.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I think it was because I was starting to feel
that slump or that like feelingof being stuck.
And I've had that feelingbefore and I don't like it.
So I know that in the past Ihave done some really amazing
things and I've really made somegreat progress and I know I can
do it again.
So that's kind of like.
I had that feeling first of Idon't like this, this is not

(02:18):
where I want to be, and then I'mlike but I know how to make it
different, I know how to flip itand I know what I need to do in
order to get to that space.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
How do you remind yourself of that?
Because obviously it's easy forus to like, in the moment, in
the pain, we're like, hey, we'regonna, we're gonna do this.
But how do you do that in theday to day, as you go, to make
sure that you're focused on that?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I think what it really is is just understanding
how I operate and what thesystems and the habits that I
have developed and that I hadgoing on when I was feeling
really good, and if I know thatI am taking those small steps
that I can get there again.
So it's not about, oh, I feeltotally stuck and I don't know

(03:02):
what to do and I want to getover there, but it feels really
far away and I feel like I haveto work really hard.
I just stop myself and think, okay, well, what's that one
thing I can do?
What's that one habit I canrecreate and get into again?
What is that book I can startreading?
So it's those small steps thatI know are going to build up
again.
And I know they're going tobuild up faster because it's

(03:24):
like that muscle memory right,Because I've already been there
and I've already done that and Iknow that if I start to get the
ball rolling again, it'sactually going to be moving a
lot faster than it did when Ifirst learned that lesson.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I love those questions you just asked.
That's actually something we'regoing to be teaching next week
in the Coach Accelerator is howto ask yourself questions to get
you tap into what you wantinstead of like what you don't
right Because you're like howcould I do this, how might I be
able to do this?
Like what has worked in thepast?
And when you can grab ontothose level of questions, it
elevates you to a differentfeeling in your body and then
you can take different actionsbased off of that feeling right.

(03:57):
So definitely really powerfulto ask yourself those better
questions.
I find that a lot of times, ourbrains will accidentally ask us
the wrong questions, like whatis wrong with me?
Why isn't this working fastenough?
Or why aren't people signing up?
Like all of those things arefocused on what's broken, wrong
or missing, and you'll manifestmore of that as a coach.
You're already making adifference in the world, but
what if you could take yourconfidence and the results of

(04:18):
your clients to a new height?

Thank you for being willing tolean in.
Let's get right back into theshow.
So the biggest lesson for 2024for me, very similar to yours is
make sure that you keepstepping into new rooms.
So what I mean by that is, forthe last three years, I've been
working with a lot of my mentorswhere I'm actually helping them
with facilitating, creatingprograms, growing it, the

(05:01):
community, all of those aspectsof things, right, some of the
things that I love to do and Ido really really well, right,
and what I noticed is that Istopped stepping into rooms.
That kind of forced me to grow, and so having some
opportunities last year to stepinto rooms and seeing what I'm
capable of right, gave me theconfidence to go.
You know what?
Maybe it's time to get a littlebit out of your comfort zone

(05:21):
again in terms of like thebusiness and where you're at
right now and create somethingfor yourself, and so that's
obviously what we did bycreating these new programs that
we have for coaches, right, andso I'm reminding myself all the
time like my focus is to keepstepping into rooms where I feel
uncomfortable, where I feellike maybe I'm not qualified,
and by literally doing that andthen going in there and using my

(05:42):
skill, my skill of coachingwhich sometimes the comparison
game can come into play.
But when you start comparingyourself on other people's
playing fields, it's kind ofunfair.
But also comparing them on yourplaying field really feels like
okay, I can do this based offof my strengths, right, and so
stepping into those rooms.
I've yet to find a room thatI've stepped into that hasn't

(06:02):
helped me to grow and get me tosee like I was supposed to be in
this room in the first place.
So that's really what my focusis is to keep stepping into new
rooms that feel uncomfortable, that get me out of my current
status quo of where I'm at, andby doing that I'm going to keep
growing and I hope you guys dothe same.
So keep stepping into thoserooms.
Of course, if there's a roomthat you'd like to step into,
that we can help you with, whether it's becoming a part of

(06:23):
the Coach Accelerator, ourcertification or even our Master
Coach Collective.
We'll leave you some linksbelow, because we have waitlists
for all of those differentthings, but keep stepping into
those rooms.
Those are exactly where youneed to be.
How do you know if that's whereyou're supposed to be?
Because if you're afraid, ifyou're nervous, if it doesn't
feel like the right room, that'sactually what makes it the
