The midpoint of the year arrives with an invitation to reclaim your radiance. As the cosmos shifts from the deep emotional currents of Cancer to the bold, expressive fire of Leo, we're being called to remember who we truly are at our core.

Cancer season asks us to slow down, feel deeply, and nurture ourselves with tenderness. Like the crab that symbolizes this sign, many of us develop protective outer shells while maintaining soft, intuitive inner worlds. During this time, you might notice increased sensitivity and past patterns resurfacing - not as punishment, but as an opportunity for healing release. When emotions arise, remember they only need 60 seconds to process through your body if you allow yourself to fully feel them without resistance.

The Capricorn Full Moon on July 10th (known as the Buck Moon) creates a powerful axis between feeling and structure. During this time, we're invited to release what no longer serves us - particularly those societal expectations that have overridden our emotional truths. What does success actually look like to you, beneath the layers of conditioning? The affirmation "I release the need to prove. I lead from my truth" can be your companion through this illuminating time.

As Leo season emerges on July 22nd, we're supported in expressing what we've processed. Like a rose bush that blooms more vibrantly after pruning, our authenticity flourishes when we've released what's dying. The spiritual progression is beautiful – first feeling deeply, then expressing boldly from that grounded emotional awareness.

This month, ask yourself: What parts of your radiance have been dimmed? What would you do differently if you were fully in your power? Through practices like emotional journaling, mindful movement, and taking small brave actions, you can gently return to your essence. Remember - this is not a fight, but a homecoming to your soul's original blueprint.

Welcome to a special July Energy episode of the
Modern Zen Collective podcast.
I'm Lizzie.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
And I'm Nikki.
This month brings powerfulcosmic invitations from the deep
emotional currents of cancerseason to the bold fire of Leo
and the grounding clarity of theCapricorn full moon to the bold
fire of Leo and the groundingclarity of the Capricorn full
moon.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
We're so excited to explore what it means to reclaim
your radiance this month andhow to embody your truth
unapologetically during thissacred midpoint in the year.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
And we'll also talk about what's happening
astrologically, energetically,in July and how to work with
these shifts something we'rereally, really interested and
passionate about rather thanworking against them, especially
if you're feeling that pulltowards being reinvention
reinvention for yourself and allof that.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yes, I'm feeling that .
I know you are too, nikki.
We're in the middle of thiswith you.
So this conversation is reallya call to remember who you are,
to rise into your unique powerand walk forward, lit from
within.
Lit from within.
So let's step into Julytogether with intention and

(02:13):
inner fire.
So we're so excited to talkabout this.
This month Cancer is going to bemoving into Leo.
Next there's going to be aCapricorn full moon on Thursday,
july 10th, and the sun is goingto move from Cancer into Leo,
like I just mentioned, on Monday, the 22nd, at 4.44 am Eastern

(02:37):
Standard Time.
So we got a little angel numberaction in there too.
Love it.
So it's going to be a good one.
It's going to be a good one.
So we just want to start alittle bit talking about cancer
to Leo and moving from thatfeeling to expressing the
feeling, to expression.

(02:58):
So the emotional depth ofcancer season is really about
slowing down, nurturing, beingtender with yourself.
Cancer is very sensitive.
It's emotional, intuitive, empathetic and it feels things
deeply and it often absorbs themoods of others.
So it kind of sounds like anempath a little bit, absolutely.

(03:21):
So you can't imagine being anempath and a Cancer.
For all of those who are, itmust be a lot for you.
Yeah, a lot going on.
And the symbol of Cancer is thecrab and it's very protective of
its inner world, soft on theinside and strong shell on the
outside.
So it has that protective armorbut it does have that softness,

(03:46):
that intuitiveness, thatempathy, that emotional part of
it.
The crab is very loyal andprotective, very fiercely
devoted to loved ones,especially family.
So once you have that cancerthat loves you, that's it.
You're stuck with them, they'restuck with you, they love you
forever.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I love the cancer.
I totally get that and I's it.
You're stuck with them.
They're stuck with you.
They love you forever.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
I love a cancer, I totally get that and I feel it
Really.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah, yeah, I love it .
So what you may be noticinghere in the cancer season is
increased sensitivity, desiredfor comfort and past patterns
resurfacing, and I havedefinitely noticed that within
myself.
I think Nikki and I even had anin-business meeting last week,
which is where we just spendtime working on the business

(04:32):
together, and I literally wastelling her where I'm at and I
just started crying.
I'm like I'm sorry, I just Ineed to cry.
And I was driving my son to hisNoniis the other day too and I
started crying listening to, andthen yesterday I started crying
.
So I'll tell you I amdefinitely in this increased

(04:55):
sensitivity part.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yes, oh, my God, I, we all.
I feel like we're all feelingthat, like we've talked about so
many times about the transitionof earth and moving to a stage
of Aquarius 3D to 5D, all ofthese things that are inside of
us are trying to come to thesurface to be healed.
And the beauty of having thesearcs and different areas for
astrological movement is that weget this help to do so.

(05:19):
So you know, this beginningpart with cancer is sensitive
and feeling and expressing, emoting and not holding it in,
because then that just becomesstifled energy.
You know, hard, difficult, etcetera.
Like there's a lot that can goalong with holding that in.
So the fact that you cried, lizzie, three times is amazing,

(05:40):
love it.
I cried yesterday watching theOffice when Pam and Jim had a
moment at the end of last season.
So very much, very emotionallately, all of the things that
tip us over the edge yesterday.

(06:01):
But when we move from Cancerinto Leo, you know coming into
Leo, which is the lion, thepride, the expression, boldness,
creativity, and then steppinginto your visibility.
So it's almost as if thisCancer into Leo is shedding the
old, expressing, emoting, feeling, the emotions inside of

(06:22):
you that are trying to come outso that you can be in your full
expression of who you are andstep into that visibility of the
proud lion, you know, taking upspace, the loud roar and all of
that.
So the spiritual arc of themonth is feel and then express.
This is a soul ledtransformation.
You know you're determined, youcan, like the the Leo is, you

(06:45):
know it could be stubborn, also, again, devoted and anchored.
So you still have that kind ofcoming with you and determined
once committed.
So you have that energy behindyou.
So when you release in thebeginning and then move into
this arc, into Leo, you have theenergy behind you to be able to
have the forward progress.

(07:06):
When you commit to somethingand this is, you know, staying
loyal and consistent.
That's something that Leo doesautomatically.
That's just who they are as thesign.
And then you get that energy aswell, being loyal, consistent
whenever you start moving yourenergy forward.
And then something else for Leois that you know we talked about

(07:30):
what the cancer traits aregoing into Leo passionate, warm,
enthusiastic, vibrant, you know, proud, strong in their
foundation, fueled by desire,inspired.
And you have the need toexpress.
So you can imagine the lion, lion King on the top.
You know, doing what it needsto do to command the attention

(07:52):
of everyone.
That is the innate energy ofLeo and that is what we get to
have behind us as we are movingforward, with all that energy of
what we shed, you know, whenwe're moving into this new era,
with all that energy of what weshed, you know, when we're
moving into this new era.

(08:12):
So, having that beautifulbalance almost a yin and yang at
this time the midpoint of theyear, is really beautiful and
amazing to be able to step inthat boldness after you've kind
of expressed and released,Because to me, when I express
and release, I feel like I gainclarity after I express and
release and feel things that Imay have been repressing and I

(08:33):
feel like then I have thesemoments of pause where I can
receive that clarity.
So something to you, somethingto consider for our listeners,
just to really lean into thisenergy, is where have you
softened lately?
Where are you ready to shine?
Where have you been able tocreate that foundation and now

(09:00):
be ready to shine with it?
But shine with it creating andbringing that energy of cancer
with you in a soft way.
You're shining it in a soft way, with that strong foundation
from Leo behind you.
So where are you ready to shine?
You know, like something toconsider while we're here in
July.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I love that yin and yang you know you said, because
that is truly what this is like.
Cancer is that yin, is thatsofter, that feeling, that
feminine you know, that.
That's that slowing down, pauseto look at things and feel them

(09:39):
and let your body fully processthem like one of my favorite
things that I learned.
I don't even remember where Ilearned this, but that emotions
will stay in your body for 60seconds.
So if you can literally justsit with that feeling for 60
seconds, it will come into yourbody and your body will fully
process it.

(10:00):
That's amazing, I know it'sincredible.
If you stop it, that's whenthat emotion, that energy in
motion gets trapped in your bodyand so, literally, if you can
just feel this feeling thatyou're uncomfortable with
whatever it may be, for 60seconds, it's gone forever.

(10:20):
Like that that piece of it willbe gone forever and it won't
stay with you.
So I I honestly can't evenremember where I learned this.
This was like years ago, butit's one of my favorite things I
like to bring to mind when I'mreally feeling really sad or
upset or, you know, distraught,I mean even distraught.
It's just if you can just sitwith it and let yourself cry,
let yourself feel it.

(10:41):
It's going to be gone afterthat and you go back to, like
your balanced state.
So really just taking the timeto sit with the feelings like
cancer is really asking you to,because then when you move into
this Leo, I'm a Leo.
So which I feel like as a Leo,which I feel like as a Leo, my

(11:10):
thing to learn is to be softer, you know, is to be not so in
your face, not so bold all thetime, to like step back.
I don't always have to be inthe front, I can be behind, you
know and like.
So that's my balancing act isto lean more into cancer because
you put you put this Leo energyin a Leo month and whoo baby
Love it.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Imagine the things we could get done in that Leo
month yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Okay, get ready.
Nikita, get ready, exactly.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yeah, when we have, you know, there's so many areas
like the energy moves everysingle day and we have energy
that backs us every day.
But then we have these, youknow, pivotal points throughout
the month.
So on July 10th, we have thefull backs us every day, but
then we have these, you know, pivotal points throughout the
month.
So on July 10th we have thefull moon in Capricorn, which is
called the Buck Moon, and it'scalled the Buck Moon because
this is the time when bucks shedtheir you know antlers and move

(11:56):
on into growing and evolving inthat way.
So it has significance behindit as well, which is pretty cool
, and it gives us that sameenergy of you know, release the
old and just trust and know thenew is coming, and it's almost
like roses.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
you know, like with the bucks antlers, it's like
when you trim off, when you letthe dying, the old fall away,
when you cut off those old roses, the buds or the new roses or
the new antlers, they get all ofthe energy to grow.
And if you don't have releasedall the old, the energy is going
into the old and the new.

(12:33):
So the new can't be asbeautiful, as vibrant, as big if
you still have the old hangingon sucking up energy.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Yes, oh my gosh, absolutely, because the energy
is trying to get the old to bealigned with the new and it's
expelling all this energy to doso and it's not giving the
energy to like the actual beautythat could be and it's hard to
let go.
You know you don't want to cutthat part of the rose or
whatever it might be for feelingbad or feeling attached and all

(13:02):
of those things that go alongwith it.
That's a great, great analogy.
It also makes me think of whenyou know you have particular
skills, like when you are in ajob, leadership, whatever your
skills are, and you have this, you know these handful of skills
that you can do with your eyesclosed all the time.

(13:22):
And then you have skills thatyou're not particularly good at.
Well, you can spend a lot oftime trying to get the skills
you're not good at to be as goodas the ones you're great at, or
just give all your energy tothe ones that are great and know
someone else has the skills forthe ones that would be hard for
you to catch up to and thatreally, your rose analogy
reminds me of that like just toreally catapult towards the

(13:46):
beauty of, you know, expansioninto the things that are ready
to grow.
And the full moon in Capricorngives us structure and
boundaries, ambition, alignment, all of these things to really
help us.
Also with the season going fromCancer to Leo.
And there are things, you know, when we have all these

(14:07):
different contradicting signsthat could be complementary and
contradicting etc.
We havea full moon in Capricornbut then we also have the
Cancer energy that we're stillin until the 22nd.
So with that there might besome tension with Cancer Doesn't
mean it's negative tension.
There's healthy tension.
Healthy tension helps us grow.
So this is your emotional truthversus societal expectations.

(14:30):
So when you are settingboundaries, creating structure,
stepping into your ambition andthen feeling in the cancer
element, are you doing so withyour whole truth and your
emotional truth or are you doingit with some societal
expectations?
You know like, are you holdingin and not going that full 60

(14:51):
seconds for your emotionsbecause it's not accepted where
you are in that moment to becrying or whatever it might be?
You know things like that onthe really small level and then
on a large level as well.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Yeah, you know that's actually a really good point
because I have done that.
That has happened to me before.
You know, when your takes youout to lunch to like in the
corporate world, you know what?
I don't that's ever happened toyou, but when I was in the
corporate world and your bosstakes you to lunch, it's
probably not a good thing.
Yes, and I have definitely hadtimes where I've wanted to cry.

(15:29):
I have typically like in thatsituation when I was out and
trying to like hold it backbecause it wasn't socially
acceptable, where I was likethat just popped into my mind
when you said that.
But even outside of like theemotional kind of things, it's
like the societal expectationseven around success, like

(15:52):
external versions of success alot lately, and like what looks
like success to people from theoutside or what society deems as
successful, like climbing thecorporate ladder, being this
hotshot, being the mostexclusive in the most exclusive

(16:16):
piece of the company or next tothe C-suite executives, or
getting to go to these things,or I don't even know.
It's like what does everybodytell you success looks like?
But what do you actually thinksuccess looks like?
So, letting go of like whatsociety tells you success should
be in your life letting go ofwhat society tells you you

(16:39):
should be doing as a woman, as aman, as a provider, as a
caretaker.
What do those roles actuallylook like to you in your life?
Because, while my labels mightbe stay-at-home mom, might be

(17:02):
mother of two, might bepart-time worker helping my
husband's business, might bebusiness owner, might be
volunteer, what do all of thosethings look like to me?
Actually, nikki this is theperfect time to bring this up I
literally talked to Nikki afterI talked to my sister, and my
sister, meredith, was like whatdo you tell people that you do?

(17:26):
I'm like Meredith was like whatdo you tell people that you do?
I'm like what do you mean?
What do I tell people that I do?
And she's like well, do you sayyou're a stay-at-home mom, or
do you say you work part-time?
And I'm like well, what I tellthem is my primary role is as a
caregiver, nurturer.
My family is my top priority.
After that comes my husband'scompany.
I do all their admin andoperations for them.

(17:48):
After that, my company with mywonderful partner Nikki.
That's very important to me,and also I have a very big
leadership role in junior leagueand so that takes up a lot of
my time and she's like will youtell people all of that?
And I'm like, yes, I tellpeople all of that because we're
having a conversation.
She's like, well, you know, myfriends were just asking and I

(18:10):
just didn't know what to tellthem, what you did.
I was like, okay, and it wasjust so odd because you know, my
sister works for 3M.
She's like in this corporatesociety mix, she's an engineer,
she's very logical.
She's like in this corporatesociety mix, she's an engineer,
she's very logical.
She's like in everything.

(18:31):
We see the world verydifferently.
I've realized I can only sendher decor related things because
that is the only thing that wesee eye to eye on.
It's just so funny because sheis literally trying to put like

(18:51):
a label on me when she tells herfriends who I am and what I do,
when it's so much more holisticthing, like it takes me 30
seconds to tell you or like aminute to tell you what I do
with my time.
But for her it's like, oh, Iwork part time or oh, I'm a stay
at home mom, and it's just sointeresting.
So I don't know.
I only tell that story becausesometimes people can try and put

(19:16):
labels on you or putexpectations on you for how you
should be living your life, withwhat should be your top
priority or how you should bespending your time.
And you know, things change asour lives change, as our
experiences change.
And so it's really important forus to have that dialogue with
ourselves about what successlooks like, about what wealth

(19:38):
looks like, about what your rolein your life looks like at this
time.
So, it's really about reclaimingthat personal power through,
like, your own sustainableleadership, through your own
intuitive timing, through yourown alignment.

(20:01):
Yeah, like that's what's.
That's what's so great aboutthis time is that you have the
time to reflect.
Now, with this cancer, like toreflect, to feel into any things
, to feel what doesn't feel goodto you, to feel what does feel
good to you, like one of thegreat, the best things that
we've learned through all thisembodiment work that Nikki and I
have been practicing andlearning over the past years is

(20:23):
that when something gets broughtup to you an idea, a thought,
something to do, something notto do and you sit, you think
about it and you sit in your, inyour body.
Your body's going to tell youwhether or not that's right for
you.
The body never lies.
The mind is meant to show youboth ways.
The mind is meant to keep ussafe.

(20:44):
It's meant to keep us alive.
It's meant to keep us alive.
It's meant to keep us here sothat we can procreate and keep
the human race going.
So it shows you always the riskand the reward, both sides.
It doesn't tell you what youshould do.
It tells you all the things.
If you're thinking about allthe positives, it's going to say
wait, what about all thesenegatives?
If you're thinking about allthe negatives, it's going to say
wait, think about all thesepositives.

(21:05):
But the body, when you ask thebody if it feels contractive, if
it feels not good, if you feelsick, if you feel knots, if you
feel tension, that's a no.
If you feel expansive, if youget some excitement, if you get
some like butterflies in yourstomach, if you smile, if your

(21:26):
eyes get brighter, that's a yes,so, and that's that's for you
to feel for yourself.
Nobody can tell you that yourbody is the thing that's going
to tell you, yeah.
So I just you know, nikki, andI practice that often.
So one thing that we can reallyoffer for you in terms of like
this full moon like, is just anaffirmation, maybe you can say

(21:51):
for yourself to help stick toyour own versions of success,
your own versions of how youwant to live your life.
And that is I release the needto prove I lead from my truth.
And that's actually reallypowerful.
I release the need to prove Ilead from my truth.

(22:13):
Hey, love, we'll get right backto the episode in just a moment
.
But if you've been craving moregrounding, guidance or just a
moment of peace in your day, you're going to love the Modern

So if you're ready for a littlemore intention and magic in
your everyday life, just pausefor a second, head to the App
Store or Google Play and searchModern Zen Collective.
All right, let's get back to it.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Yes, that's so many, it encompasses so much with just
that one sentence and it'sincredible to think that you
know we can just release thatneed for judgment.
You know, one of the things thatthere's these studies and these
interviews with people that areon their deathbed and a lot of

(23:42):
the common thread is I shouldhave done what I wanted to do.
I was too afraid of what peoplethought Like that's something
that's just kind of across theboard of how we worried about
what our family would think, what our friends would think,
but we felt this overwhelmingurge inside of us to do
something and we just keptputting it off and putting it
off and before we know it, we're90 and we never did that thing.

(24:05):
And your truth is what Lizzie'stalking about.
You feel ignited, you feelpowerful, you feel aligned.
It could be that simple whereyou know that that's your truth
inside of it.
You don't feel weird or odd oryou're hiding something or
anything like that.
So I release the need to proveI lead from my truth.
You can even write that out ina journal, you can say it out

(24:27):
loud to yourself.
However, it works for you.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah, I actually really love that.
I think I'm going to write iton a sticky note and put it on
my mirror.
That's what I do with myaffirmations.
I put the sticky note on mymirror because I don't know if
any of you have listened to MelRobbins, but she always talks
about high-fiving yourself inthe mirror in the morning,
looking at yourself and sayingall these awesome things about
yourself in the morning toyourself.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Well, we say that you do the mirror work, yep.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Yeah, and so I do like to do that.
Sometimes it actually does.
It's a little goofy the firstfew times when you like look at
yourself and high-five yourself.
I'm literally like picturingmyself.
It's just so funny, but itreally does work.
So that's another thing youcould try.
But you know, it's time likethis is the time to reclaim

(25:17):
yourself.
So, like I really want you tothink about what parts of
yourself have gone undergroundor have been dimmed, what parts
of yourself have been dimmed, either by you, by others, by
society, whatever.
What parts of yourself havegone underground or been dimmed,
because it's time to reclaimyour voice, it's time to reclaim

(25:41):
your health, your vitality.
It's time to reclaim yourboundaries, just like the
armadillo told you to do on July1st.
You know, go back and listen tothat episode.
I did a July animal card polland it was the armadillo, and
it's all about boundaries.
I'm telling you, this stuff isunique.
I picked that card out of thewhole deck of cards and it
literally lines up with exactlywhat we're talking about today

(26:03):
too.
So go back and listen to thefirst if you need some help with
boundaries and reclaiming yourcreativity, like what does
creativity mean for you?
Is that building a podcast, likeNikki and I did?
Is it taking beautiful photosoutside?
Is it painting?
Is it writing, is it drawing?
Is it singing?
Is it dancing?

(26:23):
What is is it for you?
So just think about that.
Reclaim your voice, reclaimyour boundaries, reclaim your
creativity and your health, likeyour health, please yeah, yeah,
exactly.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
You know how to make yourself the most healthy.
You know, like it's that samething you feel inside what's yes
, what's no, what's right for mybody, what's not.
And I'm the big advocate oflike the 80-20.
Like 80% of the time, I eatpretty clean.
I'm really aligned.
I honor my body, I treat itlike a temple all of these
things that I want to do and 20%of the time, I really like

(26:57):
pizza, I like breadsticks, Ireally love a burger, I love
like all of these things thatmake me feel like I'm still
living this human experience.
So it's about that balance andmoderation and honoring yourself
.
And it also is the energybehind it We've talked about
this before on our Ayurvedaepisode when we first launched
is that you can eat a burgerwith shame and feel terrible.

(27:20):
You can eat a burger with greatjoy that you're having this
delicious burger andappreciation for your food and
feel powerful and happy andhealthy.
So it also has parts to do withthat energy when you're
creating and reclaiming yourhealth.
And this isn't about fixingyourself.
It's about remembering who youare at your soul core.

(27:40):
We came here with our soulblueprint.
This is who we are and thebeautiful part of being
incarnated on earth is that wehad amnesia and we don't know
who we are.
And the beautiful part of beingincarnated on earth is that we
had amnesia and we don't knowwho we are.
And we get to repeal the layersback and figure out who we are
bit by bit, by bit by bit forour whole lifetime.
And this is about rememberingwho you are throughout this

(28:01):
season, throughout the Cancer toLeo, throughout the Capricorn
full moon, and you have all ofthis energy behind you.
And then this is a gentlereturn, not a fight.
So the more if we fight, themore we bring attention to
something like that, the moreattention that becomes fights.

(28:21):
So we want to have this be inease and softness.
Like we talked about before.
It's not a fight.
It's a gentle return to who youare inside of yourself, like
your soul level.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah.
So I feel like if you'refeeling a lot of resistance in a
certain area of your life thatyou're really like nitpicking at
, and you're like I know I'm notgood at this this one thing and
it constantly shows up in mylife and God damn it.
I need to fix it because itkeeps showing up and I know it's
a pattern and it happened allthese times, but it's just.

(28:56):
It's like there's a lot offriction and a lot of tension
and it's like you feel likeyou're constantly knocking your
head up against a wall orsomething.
Maybe that's not the thing tofocus on right now.
Yes, maybe that is justsomething for another day.
It's okay, you know it's a thingfor you.
There is a thing that I'mspecifically thinking about

(29:19):
myself for right now.
So not just you, it's me, likeit's all of us.
There is this thing and youknow there's times where it
keeps coming up and it's justnot the right.
But there is this thing andthere's times where it keeps
coming up and it's just not theright time for me to fix it,
because it's too much of abattle.
But, I'm sure there's somethingthat's been nudging you, that
keeps showing up inconversations or things that

(29:39):
you're seeing or things thatyou're hearing, and it's this
gentle nudge and you're like man, I think I'm ready to fix that.
Well, let's try this.
Let's try this affirmationfirst.
Let's try to make a betterdecision.
For this, let's add this onehabit in let's just do this Like
think of it very gently Don'tfight.
If it's a fight, it's not theright time.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Just right now.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Just right now.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Yes now, yes, yes, exactly.
And having that ease and and 90of healing is awareness.
So even if you have thatawareness and you don't do much
for it, you have that awareness.
So your body starts to createthe time and space and
experiences for you to be ableto heal it.
So that's a part of it as wellas a part of your journey.

(30:27):
It might seem so small, buthaving that awareness of knowing
I have this pattern, I havethis thing I want to change or
whatever it is, and I want tomove forward softly, that
awareness really helps to carryyou in that way as well.
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah, I like that.
So when we're thinking aboutreclamation, yeah, I like that.
So when we're thinking aboutreclamation, we have another
question for you, a prompt, andwe really want you to ask
yourself, like if you were fullyin your power right now, what
would you stop doing or whatwould you start saying yes to?

(31:02):
So, just like Nikki said, ifyou were on your deathbed, you
know and you're going to lookback at your life what would you
look back at yourself right nowand what would you advise them
to stop doing, or what would youadvise them to start saying yes
to?
I think that's a really goodway to look at it, especially

(31:23):
with such a great visual, nikki.
I really do think so.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Yeah, yeah.
If I were fully in my powerright now, what would I stop
doing or start saying yes to,absolutely Stop that
procrastinating and start movingforward with this energy that
you have and some things thatcould work for you.
To do this.
You know from the cancer energythat you're going to have.

(31:48):
Use that cancer energy tojournal, emotionally,
emotionally, journal, write outwhat you're feeling.
Just write it out, let it outcry while you journal all of
that.
Something else I really love islike a self-talk walk, and what
that is is that you're justwalking by yourself out in
nature and you are having aconversation with yourself and

(32:09):
you're letting all the emotionsout and you get to talk it
through and talk it out and thisreleases anything that's in
your body and it can be the mostridiculous things, where you
say it out loud and you get totalk it through and talk it out
and this releases anythingthat's in your body and it can
be the most ridiculous thingswhere you say it out loud and
you think to yourself that wasthe most ridiculous statement
I've ever said, but you neededto get it out.
So I also love a self-talk walk.
You can do home rituals whereyou're really feeling that

(32:31):
energy.
Maybe it's a morning or eveningroutine, maybe it's something
with a nice luxurious bath orsomething where you're just, you
know, feeling that emotionalexperience.
Maybe it's, but you start touncover who this inner child is
and you know what they want andspeak to them.
There's a lot out there whereyou can, you know, access that

(33:08):
and even work with someone toaccess what this inner child
healing could work for you anddo for you to help heal when you
move from cancer into Leo.
Some of the ways that you canembody this, speaking your truth
, of course, when you feel thataha, that yes, that it's a yes,
et cetera, I'm speaking my truth.
I have creative expression, I'mcreating, I'm sharing my

(33:30):
creations, whether it's my speak, whether it's my arts, whether
it's my dance, like we talkedabout, whatever it might be, and
having bold embodiment for it,using that Leo energy, like
Lizzie, be bold.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Be bold like Lizzie.
Be you, just be you in front ofeveryone, because you don't
care what they do.
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
And then, when we have this full moon in Capricorn
, check out.
Do you feel burnt out?
Do you feel like you areburning the candle at both ends?
Do you feel like you're sayingyes to too many things and you
need to release the buck, buck, moon, release.
What do you need to release andhave your energetic boundaries
like.
Energize yourself and thencreate your energetic boundaries

(34:15):
and, honestly, boundaries don'teven need to be words.
If you want to have a boundarywith someone, you don't have to
physically tell them look, I'mputting a boundary up for you.
You can energetically have one.
Just create your energy, yourcocoon, what you want and how
you want to distance yourselfeither from someone or an
experience or a situation orwhatever it might be, and then
think about how you can redefinesuccess.

(34:36):
It doesn't need to be this veryliteral progression that is said
.
We're told this is what successis.
It could be somethingcompletely different.
Like Lizzie talked about whenshe was talking to her sister.
Expressing who I am is a longerequation than me just saying I

(34:56):
do this or I do that.
And we're moving into this erawhere, when someone asks you
what you do, it's no longergoing to be about your
profession In a few years.
We're moving into this age oflove and Aquarius and of purpose
, and your purpose isn't justyour vocation, it's how you show
up everywhere in life.
So feeling that and redefiningwhat success looks like for you,
yes, I love all that.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
I love that.
And you know those are specificto the different energies.
So Nikki gave you really good, tangible things to do while
we're still in cancer.
She gave you some great thingsto do as soon as we hit that
full moon coming up here for theCapricorn full moon on the 10th
, and then she also hit you withsome really good things to do
once we move into Leo heretowards the end of the month.

(35:44):
So those are kind of like somebigger things we can do.
But in our daily life, like howdo we do these things in our
daily life?
How do we move with this energyfrom the day to day, these
things in our daily life, how dowe move with this energy from
the day to day?
And I think some of the greatthings we can do are some weekly
rituals or some prompts.
You know we've offered you afew different prompts, a few

(36:04):
different questions for you tostop and think about, maybe
picking one of those for a weekto really like sit and journal
out or even talk through with afriend If you have like a
trusted friend and you do reallygood with like communicating
with somebody else to come upwith your great ideas.
If that's how you come up withthese things.
Sit down with someone trustedand like, talk through these

(36:26):
questions, you know, together.
Another thing is the mirrorwork, like I talked about.
You know saying these things toyourself as you look at
yourself in the eyes, you knowin the mirror.
Or like giving yourself a highfive, making yourself feel good,
or using movement, using somemovement as an activation, like

(36:47):
maybe that's going for a walk, like Nikki said, maybe that's
stretching, maybe that is goingand pushing yourself in the gym
so that your mind has a breakfrom thinking about all of your
stressors.
So really leaning into movementand whatever feels good for you
in that week.

(37:07):
As women, we have our infradiumrhythm, our menstrual cycle,
like every single week.
We have different hormones.
They change every day.
We're not just like men.
We don't have just thecircadian 24-hour cycle.
We have this monthly 28 to32-ish day rhythm, whatever it
is for you.

(37:28):
So things that are going tofeel good to you at one point in
the month are not going to feelgood to you at another part in
the month.
So I would definitely encourageyou to check in with that.
We'll dive more into that here.
On another episode, but, thelast thing that I really want
you to think about for like, really reclaiming who you are
when you came here on a soullevel is taking these small,

(37:52):
brave actions, so these thingswhere society tells you not to
do something or not to saysomething, or not to show a
certain emotion, or not to shine, or whatever it may be.
Just take a moment and do itanyways.
Feel the fear and do it anyways.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Yes, the book.
Yes, is that a book?
It's a book.

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Yes, I've never read it.
I'm sorry people.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
But you knew it.
That's exactly what it is whenwe push through that boundary
that we make for ourselvessometimes it's a silly boundary
that doesn't actually serve usand we push through that fear.
That's where, really knowingyourself, your emotions, your
ups and downs and what's a yesand what's a no and what's right
for you, that's where it reallypays off.
When you step through that anddo it anyway, and some words

(38:48):
just to guide you through, isthe beginning of the month feel
expressed, feel your emotions,express them.
You're transmuting feeling intoexpression and you're also
reflecting.
During that time, while you'realso moving into this
reclamation, you're reclaimingwhat is inside of you from the

(39:08):
soul level and with the buckmoon, you're releasing, but then
you're rising as we grow andevolve into these deep summer,
see, this deep summer season, these summer months here, and
it's it's something that reallybenefits you to feel, express,
reflect, reclaim, release andrise.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Yes, yes.
So we would love, love, love, love to hear what you're
reclaiming this month.
Put it in the comments, send usa DM to either Modern Zen Co or
to me and Nikki personally.
Tag us whatever it is.
We really want to hear aboutwhat you're reclaiming this
month and next week.
Nikki has a very, very specialepisode that she came up with

(39:54):
all on her own and it's going tobe a short reflection episode
and it's called where are youstill hiding?
So if you're looking for alittle bit more help, a little
bit more guidance to get youdeeper into this question about
what you're still hiding, comeand check out the episode that
Nikki's going to be doing.
And we're just so happy to haveyou guys with us.

(40:16):
You know it's been I mean no,it's been we have been working
on Modern Zen Co for a year andtwo weeks now.
I mean.
We literally started this likemiddle of June last year, so a
year later, we are so like, sograteful to have you guys here
with us today and sticking itout through the end and trusting

Speaker 4 (41:03):
Absolutely, and you know, another thing is that
we're giving you like very highlevel right here.
So, if you're interested inastrology, if you're interested
in these cosmic shifts thathappen, you know, nikki and I,
we have astrologists that welike to listen to and I have,
you know, one in particularMolly McCord.
That's an intuitive astrologistand she goes, she literally

(41:26):
releases a podcast episode forevery single week's energy, as
well as the overall month'senergy, as well as any energy
that happens to go with likefull moons or like big shifts.
So, nikki, who's your favoriteperson to listen?

Speaker 3 (41:39):
to.
Oh man, I love her.
I love Molly McCord.
I think she does such anamazing job with everything
that's going on.
Chani Nichols is also reallygreat C-H-A-N-I.
Such a beautiful outlook.
She has actually wonderfuldaily emails or weekly emails
that can come to you and giveyou an inkling as to what's

(42:01):
happening with the moon, withthe energies, what's happening
on earth, what's going on, whyyou feel this way.
So she's really good too andlooking kind of at the
astrological dates andeverything, and she has a lot of
offerings as well.
So that's also in terms ofMolly.
I also listen to Chani Nicholstoo.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
Okay, that's perfect.
So we will link those two womenand how you can get on their
email list or listen to ourpodcast or whatever in the show
notes, so we will make sure tolink those for you guys, because
that is what we like to listento.
So those are our resourcespersonally.
So again, thank you so much.
We love you guys.

(42:41):
This is a big month.
