Have you ever felt your manifestation practice grind to a halt when life gets heavy? You're not alone—and there's profound wisdom in these seemingly unproductive seasons.

The universe doesn't care about your pretty vision board; it cares about your capacity to hold what you're asking for. When manifestation feels slow or challenging, it's not failing—it's preparing you for what's coming. As Lizzy and Nikki reveal in this episode, the manifestation process isn't just about attracting what you want but becoming the person who can sustain it.

Drawing from personal experiences—from Nikki's divine intervention during her lowest financial point to Lizzy's winding path that led to her husband and family—the hosts unpack how divine timing orchestrates circumstances for your highest good in ways your limited perspective cannot comprehend. They challenge conventional goal-setting wisdom, suggesting that true manifestation flows when we release control rather than obsessively checking for progress.

For women especially, natural hormonal cycles create energetic fluctuations that make being "high vibe" 24/7 not just unrealistic but potentially counterproductive. These natural rhythms aren't obstacles but opportunities to develop deeper awareness and resilience. The darkness isn't something to avoid—it's half of what makes life on Earth a complete experience.

Hello friends, welcome back tothe Modern Zen Collective

(01:10):
podcast.
I'm Lizzie.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
And I'm Nikki.
We are so happy to have youhere and today we're diving into
something that's been showingup a lot lately for us and
anyone we're speaking with.
We're in a season where thingsmay feel a little uncertain,
energetically slow or even heavy, and we're speaking with.
We're in a season where thingsmay feel a little uncertain,
energetically slow or even heavy, and we're getting the question
can I still manifest whenthings feel like this?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yes, we've been hearing that a lot lately and,
funny enough, I got ontoInstagram this morning and I was
just scrolling through, as weall do, and was scrolling over
Vishen, who is one of thecreators of Mindvalley, and he
had this post about mindset andmanifesting and using ChatGPT to
answer some questions, which Idon't know if you guys are into
ChatGPT, but Nikki and I areobsessed and I wanted to read

(02:01):
this post that he shared withyou guys before we get started.
So he said I wanted to readthis post that he shared with
you guys before we get started.
He said the universe doesn'tcare about the pretty picture in
your mind.
It cares about your capacity tohold what you're asking for.
Every time you set an intention, life will send you not the
thing, but the curriculum.
You ask for love.
You will meet the parts of youthat push love away.

(02:23):
You ask for abundance.
You will meet every belief inyou that says you are not enough
.
You ask for freedom.
You will meet every chain youforged yourself.
Manifestation is not aboutcalling something in.
It's about letting everythingin you that is not ready for it

(02:43):
die.
That is why it feels hard.
That is why it feels slow, because the thing you want
already exists, but you have tobecome the person who can live
inside it without collapsing, sabotaging or shrinking.
The vision is the bait, thebecoming is the work.
And the moment you finallyrealize that, you stop asking
why isn't it here yet and startasking who am I becoming in the

(03:07):
process?
That is when the universe saysnow you're ready.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
So good.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
It really is.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Of the times we've talked about how to pull in or
just align with not even pull in, just embody the energy of what
you want to attract.
It's all about getting back toyour authenticity, your
authentic self and who you areon the soul level, and releasing
all these layers of what'ssocietal conditioning, et cetera

(03:37):
.
And that is all so true becauseif you're asking for love and
all of these lessons come in,you can get really frustrated
that your love is not here yet.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
You know that is not the opposite of manifestation,

(04:08):
or it's not the opposite whereyou're manifesting from this
lower energetic type.
It's really part of the wholemanifestation process Feeling
like you're in that low season, feeling like you're in that funk
.
It's almost like it's darkestbefore the light.
It's like you're going through, trudging through all the shit

(04:30):
before you get to the other sideand your manifestation comes.
So I think why I wanted toshare that with you guys is
because this whole episode isreally about can we manifest
when you're not feeling highenergy, when you're not feeling
clear, when you're feelinguncertain, when you're feeling

(04:50):
low?
And I think this is reallypointing out that yes, and it's
part of it.
It's part of the process beingin these places.
Everything can't be great allthe time, because then we don't
even recognize that it's great.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Exactly, and you know , as women we don't have a
24-hour cycle either.
So not only are we jugglingeverything that's going on with
the lessons that are coming in,or a shedding, or having these
ebbs and flows, which aretotally natural, we're also
going through it with our cycle.
So, whether it's a 28-day cycleor whatever yours is, and those

(05:29):
are the emotional waves that wehave.
And then, at another layer, ifyou're emotional from your human
design chart, you know, a lotof emotions can come into play.
So being in a funk is not adetriment, it's not something
that's negative for what youwant to call in, and Lizzie said
it's part of the process to youknow, come home to yourself,

(05:50):
learn, evolve and kind of grow.
In that way we don't need to behigh vibe 24, seven.
If we don't look at the dark, then we are, you know, kind of
omitting 50% of what life hereon earth really is like.
It's meant we're meant to havethe balance and the polarity so
we can see how good the good isand we can feel the emotions
which are there to help us healon a soul level and on a

(06:12):
physical level, here in the hereand now, while you're, you know
, physically going through yourday to day and these, these
times where you know maybe youwant to call, for instance, a
manifestation of whatever.
It might be a new house or anew car and it's not coming in.
It's not coming in but theselessons are coming in.
You might not notice thatthey're lessons.
You might just feel that thereare, you know, big

(06:34):
inconveniences or minorinconveniences, et cetera, and
when you start to peel thelayers back and take a step back
and look at those as a giftthat it's helping you to release
.
Really awareness is 90% of itin healing.
As soon as you have thatawareness of this keeps
happening or something's goingon and you would be surprised at

(06:55):
how the universe reallyconspires to help you move
forward when you have thatawareness that you're ready to
learn that lesson and shed thatskin.
And every day is a gift.
So one day shouldn't feel likea placeholder to get to another
day.
It should feel very much thatyou are living, enjoying whether
it's the up or the down, andfeeling the energy in that day.

(07:17):
Because you never know, Everyday is sacred.
We don't know how long our timeis here on earth.
So, knowing that you have amanifestation you want to do and
you want to receive and it'snot coming.
How much time you're exhaustingand days you are wasting just
waiting for that manifestation, instead of actually enjoying the
lessons or what's comingthrough and the so-called funk

(07:37):
that you might be feeling also.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yeah, I think you know we're all human.
There's no way we're going towake up every day feeling good.
There's no way we're going tohave difficult conversations or
be in the room with people wedon't really want to be with or
doing things that we don'treally want to do.
There's no way we're going tofeel great every day.
And it can be easy to getthrown off of our energetic

(08:04):
midpoint as well, and it canalso be easy to forget the tools
that we have in our belt to getus back to that good spot, that
really balanced energy spot, orthe high energy spot that we
want to be when we show up incertain places, and so we can't
sit here and say that we don'thave those days.

(08:26):
I have one of those days veryrecently where an interaction I
had with somebody really justthrew me for a loop, and so I
think when you're in thoseplaces, we just want to talk
about what it means to look, tofeel like you're in a low or an
uncertain season.
You know and I think personallyfor me I know if you've been

(08:49):
following along on this journeyI have been manifesting a lot of
things this year, things thathave been on my mind for 10 plus
years, things that have been onmy wish list for a long time,
things that have been on my wishlist for a short amount of time
.
Things have been coming in alot, and yet we just had 8-8,

(09:09):
lionsgate.
You know, super Bowl ofManifestation, this wonderful
portal that closes on the 12th,and Nikki and I personally made
this beautiful activation foryou guys.
That is on our podcast.
We talk about Lionsgate, wethink about it every year, we
always contemplate doing aretreat over Lionsgate.

(09:31):
You know, it's like this bigthing for us, and yet, as
Lionsgate came and went, I didnothing.
I did nothing, and for me, that, for me personally, feels like

(09:52):
I just missed the boat, like Ijust missed this big time.
For me to ask for what I want, for me to put it out in the
universe, for me to manifestwith this energy, for me to call
in what's next, because I am inthis really weird place of
having a lot of things going onand having nothing going on at
the same time, and for me, Ican't even get my brain wrapped

(10:15):
around what I want next.
I can't even get my brainwrapped around where I want to
be, even six months from nowwhere I want to be, even six
months from now.
So for me, I couldn't evenallow myself to take any time
away from my family, away frommy kids, to go somewhere quiet

(10:36):
and think.
Honestly, I didn't like Iwanted to, but I didn't want to,
so I didn't do it.
And that might not feel likesuch a big deal to somebody else
, but for me, when this is mylife, like this is something
that Nikki and I talk about allthe time.
This is something that I preachto other people.
I'm talking to my husband aboutwhat he wants to manifest for

(10:59):
his you know his career.
I'm like this is the time tosay thank you.
This is the time to ask formore.
This is the time to ask forwhat you want.
You know his career.
I'm like this is the time tosay thank you.
This is the time to ask formore.
This is the time to ask forwhat you want.
You know, I'm literally talkingto my husband about this like a
few days ago, and I'm not doingany of it, and so it kind of
makes me feel, you know, alittle bit like a poser in some
ways.
You know, not completely, notreally, but you know what I mean

(11:20):
, there's a little, there's alittle thing, but to me that
looks like me being in a.
I feel like I'm in a funk rightnow, so in like, really, while
we're talking to you about this, right now, for me I feel like
I'm in a manifesting low pointbecause I don't want to do it.
I want to do it, but I don'teven know what I want and I

(11:41):
don't know what to ask for and Idon't know what my life's going
to look like, and so and that'sokay.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Yeah, there's this space between the notes, like
one time a spiritual teachertold me that and I hold onto it
so closely because if the musicdidn't have the space between
the notes it would just soundlike chaos, it wouldn't even
sound like music.
So you need that time where youdo nothing just to have that
space.
And maybe this time for you isthe expansiveness and the
grounding and the settling in.

(12:11):
And the thing aboutmanifestation is it doesn't need
to be, you know, for somethinglike this Lionsgate, of course,
big ceremony, go to nature, relax, etc.
You can definitely have yourintentions that way, but we
manifest all the time and youknow it's the feeling of what
you want, the visualization, youknow embodying that feeling and

(12:32):
then releasing.
So there's probably things inyour aura, like Abraham Hicks
talks about, like out therefloating around you, that you
want to manifest, that you can'tremember from the conscious
mind right now of things thatyou want to do.
So you've already done itwithout even like thinking about
it.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, it's just crazy .
So pretty much what we'retrying to say is if you're
feeling that too, you're notalone, you're not doing
manifestation wrong.
It is part of the process, andeven when we think we're not
manifesting, we are manifesting.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Yeah, we manifest every day.
That's just part of the laws ofthe universe.
We're manifesting all of thetime, every day, and something
like this being if it feels likea lull or feels like life is
hard or nothing's going your way, or just anything like that,
we're always manifesting.
So it's like that awareness, you know, and then just having

(13:30):
that release like surrender, having that deep trust, you know
, and then just having thatrelease like surrender, having
that deep trust.
An example for me and it soundsso silly, but I really think
about it often it happened maybe15 years ago.
I was in a low point.
I was in my career, I wastraveling for work and I had
zero money.
I was spread so thin.
I was trying to figure out howI was going to have money when

(13:54):
I'm traveling and this and thatand pay my bills and pay my rent
and all this stuff, and I wasin a very, very, very, very
negative, dark place.
But I was showing up for workwhen I was traveling and doing
everything what I needed foreveryone in that location.
I remember I was in Raleigh,North Carolina, and I was having
just such a terrible day, justworried so much about how I was
going to make ends meet and Iremember going on a walk and it

(14:17):
was late and it was summer andit was like a mile down and I
was walking around and I justsaid I can't take it anymore.
I'm just going to like forget it.
Like just I can't, I can't,can't keep worrying about it,
can't having breakdowns, I'mjust going to like stop worrying
about it.
And I kid you, not I, this is Iswear I went to the restaurant
next to the store that I was adistrict manager of and I got a

(14:41):
free meal.
They were like oh, we'reclosing up.
You do want the pizza you gotyesterday.
We'll just make it for you,it's free.
And then my hotel was 15minutes away, just where
corporate had a stay.
So I was.
I came out into the lobby and Iwas like, okay, I'm going to
like get an Uber or whatever, like I'll figure that out.
And then the there was aconcierge at the lobby.
They were like oh, we actuallyhave like a car for the hotel,

(15:04):
do you?
We can take you to the otherhotel if that's fine with you.
We just got back from a trip.
We actually have to go backthat way.
It's a Bentley.
I hope that's okay.
So here I am with my free pizza, sitting in the back of a
Bentley, young and broke andjust like, okay, this all came
out of that time.
I didn't realize it was from mereleasing, but it just lifted

(15:27):
my energy and I felt blessed andI felt taken care of for and I
felt really light in that momentjust of trusting, of like, okay
, things are going to be better, they're going to be okay, and
that like little instance.
However, it was probably like afull, like hour or whatever.
15 or 18 years ago, howeverlong it was still stays with me

(15:49):
that I felt at the bottom of thebottom with nothing and this
huge funk that I felt at thebottom of the bottom with
nothing, this huge funk.
And then these things I didn'teven know that I wanted, like I
wasn't willing for them cameinto my life so quickly and I
believe it's because I just saidI surrender, I can't take it
anymore, I need help, help.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
You know that kind of thing.
I love that.
Wow, what a great story and Ilove that it still sticks with
you to this day.
So really, you guys think, haveyou ever manifested something
beautiful when you were in atough place?
Mm-hmm one memory you can pullto the forefront of your mind to

(16:36):
hold on to a little bit whenyou're not feeling so high vibe
or so in the flow, and whatpractices help you stay
connected to those desires evenwhen you feel off?
Are there any practices thathelp you reconnect?
Maybe for Nikki it's relivingthat memory For me as well.
I like to recall times when Ihave manifested something that

(16:59):
feels so uncalled for and sospecial, like, oh my God, how
did this come?
How did this get here?
I think when you have thosereally aha moments for me,
that's something that reallyreminds me too.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yes, absolutely.
Manifestation in low seasons isreally about the softness, the
surrender, deep trust withyourself.
It's not about pushing, becauseif you're in a lull or in a
funk and you push, you're justgoing to get more of that funk.
So it's really about aligning, releasing, even like in that

(17:36):
quiet time whenever you feelmaybe not at the max or at 100%.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
And I think, something that gets missed over
a lot and something that EmmaMumford she hosts the Spiritual
Queens Badass Podcast and she isa big manifestation speaker
over in England Love her todeath.
One of the things that shereally harps on is that piece of

(18:03):
manifestation of letting go,just like Nikki was talking
about completely letting go,because when we're constantly
thinking about things, whenwe're constantly trying to get
somewhere, we're not allowingthe universe to work its magic
to meet us halfway.
Yes, we need to take action, inspired, aligned action.

(18:25):
However, it's not as much asyou think it is.
It's really just when that pinghits.
You know we talk about pings.
When that ping hits, that whereyou're like, oh, I should do
that, you just do it, and thenyou let it go again and you keep
going about your day, goingabout your month, going about
your year, and I reallytruthfully believe that these

(18:48):
big manifestations, these thingscome in when you fully release
them.
When you fully let go, you moveon.
This isn't what we were taughtin school.
This isn't.
Write down your three goals forthe year, review them every
single fucking day, multipletimes a day, put them on a
sticky note by your computer onyour mirror in your car.

(19:12):
This isn't that.
This isn't that we're notlooking for key metrics.
We are not looking for thetrend in the analytics to move
up towards where we're going.
We're literally asking for it.
We're taking those actions thatwe feel inspired to take and
then we're not thinking about itanymore and it might pop into

(19:34):
our minds here and there.
You're like oh yes, I do wantthat Wonderful.
Is there something that I feelcalled to do right now to get to
that?
No, okay, let's keep moving onwith my day, with my thoughts.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Yes, absolutely, it's the release, rele, releasing
control at any part in life canbe difficult because we think we
know A through Z of how to getthere.
But, like, think as you'relistening, think about times
when the most magical thingshappened to you.
Did they happen because you hada plan from A to Z and that is

(20:09):
exactly how it went and it cameinto life?
Or did the universe surpriseyou and things just fell into
place out of nowhere and thingscame out of the blue and you
received maybe even better thanwhat you wanted to manifest?
So it's really about therelease.
And another thing that stickswith me I channel.

(20:32):
I love channeling.
My grandmother came through manyyears ago, before I even knew
what channeling was.
My grandmother came throughwhen I was meditating and this
was probably again 10, 15 yearsago, and I was so hung up on
relationships and everything andI was just begging and pleading
in my meditation like where ishe?
What's going on?
All my friends are gettingmarried, what's happening?

(20:52):
And my gram said you need ahobby because you are so focused
on this.
Put your energy somewhere else.
Like that was it.
That was my channeling from herand to this day I still think
of that.
If I get so fixated on something, I realize I need to adjust my
energy and focus on somethingelse so I can release this.
The universe, it knows that Iwant it.

(21:15):
I don't have to keep checkingin with it and seeing where it's
at, why it's not here yet, andjust refocusing on something
else, and that's somethingthat's a practice that works for
me when I'm feeling that I'mlike really so control and
latched on and I'm not sayingI'm perfect.
I still have those times whereI'm wondering why our perfect
home didn't come in yet, etc.
But that's a practice that I goto when I want to just release,

(21:38):
control and focus on somethingelse.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I like that.
I like that a lot.
Yeah, because we are so trainedto like have these goals and
hold on to them and work everysingle day to get towards them,
so it can be quite opposite ofwhat you're used to doing.
So maybe try Nikki's thing Ifyou're getting too fixated on
something, go do something thatdoesn't have any purpose to it

(22:04):
other than you having a goodtime.
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
And imagine it like acting like a kid again, with no
purpose, to what you're doingand having fun, really aligns.
It brings you in those highest, highest vibe frequencies and
gets you into a place of youknow, attraction, magnetism et
cetera, and it can get you outof that funk because you're
doing something you enjoy.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
I love that.
I love that a lot.
I'm doing.
I'm doing a little craftingproject up here while I'm doing
it right now.
I haven't sewn in years but Ido love sewing.
What kind of crafts are youdoing?
What are you making?
I am making stuffed animals formy two kids out of their old
baby clothes.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Oh my.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
God, it's so cute.
So that way we have somethingwith their old clothes.
A little memory, a littlestuffed animal, who knows if
it'll last?
I don't know, I haven't sewnlike I memory.
A little stuffy animal whoknows if the last.
You know, I don't know, Ihaven't sewn like I said in
years, but I did used to lovedoing it.
I'm impressed.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
That's amazing.
I can't wait to see thefinished product.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Maybe I'll share it with you guys, if it doesn't
look too terrible.
Yeah, I would love that, lovethat.
So another thing that we reallywanted to talk about today was
divine timing, because this isthe thing right.
This is why things don't comewhen we want them to, because

(23:23):
the universe, god creator, whomever you speak to, has a
plan, a plan and there aretimelines.
And while we can change thetimelines, how quick things come
in our construct of time, youknow that we like to go by.
Things happen when they'resupposed to, and maybe the

(23:47):
reason we feel stuck is becausethings really aren't meant to
move yet.
Maybe we're not in that place, like the post said, of being
able to hold a hold ourselves inthe container of the
manifestation we're calling in.
Maybe we're not in the rightplace yet, maybe we haven't
learned the lessons we need to,maybe we haven't met the right

(24:09):
people yet, maybe we haven'tshown up where we need to.
And there is a lot that happenswith divine timing and a lot of
times, you know, we can seethis in hindsight, you know, and
a lot of times, you know, wecan see this in hindsight, you
know, hindsight's 20-20.
We can look back and we can see, oh, I wasn't ready for that

(24:30):
and so here it comes.
But how do we allow ourselvesright now, while we're wanting
this manifestation here, torelax and be okay with the
timing the divine timing that itcomes in.
Okay with the timing, thedivine timing that it comes in?
Like, how do we allow ourselvesto be in this period of waiting
, while still learning andevolving, to be able to hold

(24:52):
that new frequency, thatfrequency of the manifestation
that we really want?
Like, how do we trust this timethat we're in while we're in it
?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yeah, divine timing is so huge because the universe
is looking at universe.
God, whatever you, and whoeveryou speak to, is looking at
everything from a overarching,360 degree view to put the best
pieces together for you to havethe best scenario and the best
life and the best growth andeverything that goes along with

(25:25):
it.
Because when you do, that justenhances the rest of the
collective and enhances theplanet, helps everyone in the
long run, because we are allconnected, we're all one and
understanding that divine timingreally can be because the thing
that you're meant to have justisn't ready yet, either because

(25:46):
you're not in a line to matchfor it yet, or something on this
side, the other side, isn't ina line matched for you yet, but
it's coming or something better.
As Gabby Bernstein says, whenyou manifest and you have a
mantra, it's this or somethingbetter is coming into your life.
So that divine timing it'sreally.
It's amazing when you look atit and you look back at things

(26:10):
that fell into place and hadthey fallen into place three
months prior, it may not haveworked out in the way that is
the best for you because of allthe things that happened
afterwards.
So it's really, really a bigpart of the process is obviously
the trust and the surrender tobeing okay in these, the time

(26:31):
between the notes, the spacebetween the notes, and trusting
the divine timing and having funalong the way, like still
enjoying every day it's not aplaceholder for another day just
enjoying the ride, enjoyingwhat you're doing today.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Yeah, and I think you know, for me, divine timing has
kind of shown up with, realistically, my husband, I
would say probably the biggestthing that I can say where that
happened, the way that it wassupposed to, but also to allow

(27:06):
us to learn lessons.
I had just graduated collegeand I had a job lined up in
Hawaii and I had this feelinglike, oh, I want to go to the
mountains, to work in themountains for one last winter
before I leave the mainland andfly out to this island and I
don't know when I'm going to beback.
So I'm going to go and work atthe mountains.

(27:27):
And I applied to differentmountains.
I applied to Vail, applied toAspen, applied to Breckenridge,
had interviews with multiple ofthem, just to be a snowboard
instructor, work on the skilifts, work wherever.
I literally just applied tolike, just go work in the
mountains, just take me, let mebe in the mountains, yeah, yeah,
somewhere.
And the first people thatactually offered me the job and

(27:50):
like got me moved along wasAspen.
And I was like and it was to bea lifty, run, the ski lifts and
I was like, well, that's notthe best job, but let's do it,
let's do it.
So I did it and I went to Aspen.
Turns out my husband now hadbeen in a seven-year
relationship in Texas and hadbeen doing all this stuff in
Texas and it was just not whathe wanted.

(28:13):
And so he and his best frienddecided to just move to Colorado
and live in Aspen for thewinter.
And I moved up there and Iliterally saw he was one of the
first people I saw he and hisbuddy were in the truck while I
was unloading all of my stuff tomove into my employee housing.
The next day we had jobtraining and I saw he and his
buddy sitting in the back of theroom by themselves and I got

(28:36):
invited to sit with like 30people at their tables.
You know, of course I'm asocial butterfly, but I was like
I said, no, I want to go sitwith those guys in the back.
So I went and sat with them andI was like, hey, I'm Lizzie,
and that's how we met.
And we hung out every singleday since then.
You know we just happened tofall in love.
We were not dating, only eachother.

(28:57):
Let's just say we were having agreat time living it up in
Aspen and the night before Ileft he told me he loved me and
I invited him to come to Hawaiiwith me.
He came to Hawaii with me and, when I tell you, we were like 22
years old when we met and I'mabout to be 36 this month, so
this is a long time ago and Iremember meeting him and

(29:20):
spending time with him and hehad so many of those qualities
that I look for in a man In likea marriage, you know, in like a
husband kind of man, and I'mlike shit man.
We met each other too young.
There's no way we're going toget married, there's no way
we're going to last through our20s together, because I don't

(29:40):
know if you guys haveexperienced it, but when I was
in college I changed so much.
Every single year I was like adifferent.
You know, you're still the sameperson at the core, but you
just evolve so much in your 20s.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
And.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
I'm like there's no way we're going to be able to
grow together along this nextperiod of our life before we
want to get married in our 30sor something.
And there was a lot of shitthat we went through.
There was a lot of ups anddowns.
We moved to Hawaii together.
We moved back from Hawaiitogether to different places.

(30:11):
Then we moved back to Aspentogether.
Then we lost our housing, movedto Texas together, started
working for his mom at our firstdesk job.
I'm telling you like all thisstuff happened and we made it
through all these different lowpoints together, high and low
points together.
There were six months that wedidn't speak to each other
outside of the office when wewere living in Texas, and I

(30:34):
think you know that's where whenI learned what love really was.
It's sticking around when shitis really bad and hard until you
can get to the other sidebecause you really care about
that person and you want them inyour life.
But I really feel like if Iwouldn't have decided to go to

(30:54):
the mountains one more time, ifI wouldn't have decided to go to
Aspen, if he didn't decide togo to Aspen, there is no world
in where we would have met eachother outside of this.
And there's also no world whereI would have moved to Texas,
because when I met him I waslike I'll never live in Texas,
don't even ask, because it's notgoing to happen.
And here I am.
I've been in Texas longer thananywhere in my whole life Wild.

(31:16):
I think divine timing was alllike meeting him in the
beginning and then all thoseyears before we got engaged, we
didn't get engaged until we weretogether five and a half years
before we got engaged and wewere engaged for two years
before we got married and thenwe waited three years before we

(31:36):
got pregnant.
You know, we were not rushinginto anything, were not rushing
into anything and I think divinetiming happened.
And then I had to live in allthis uncertainty, in all of
these funky times, in all ofthese low vibe times throughout
our courtship, our relationship, before we decided to be married

(31:58):
.
And here I am on the other side, having these two beautiful
kids that I love, having thiswonderful husband who obviously
we have things that we stillargue about.
We're not perfect.
Together we have a relationship.
So relationships aren'tsunshine and butterflies, you
know, all the time.
But if I wouldn't have madethose decisions to follow those

(32:21):
inklings.
If he and I wouldn't havedecided to continue to come back
together when things werereally hard, I wouldn't have
this life that I have right now,and my life is really focused
around my family number one.
Following those pings, withoutme going to these places and all

(32:45):
the stuff that happened tofollow that, all the things that
didn't happen that I reallywanted to happen, I wouldn't be
where I am today.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Yes, right, the divine timing in flow and you
trusting and everything alongwith it and kind of riding the
wave and not trying to control, like I love.
I love that story.
I love that it came to Hawaiiwith you and that you ended up
in Texas and just so so muchthat you were almost like pushed

(33:12):
to grow within the relationship.
You know, our relationships areour biggest mirrors anyway and
it's just really cool to hearhow all of that divine timing
happened.
I think it just, it just reallyspeaks to that post that I that
divine timing happened.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
I think it just really speaks to that post that
I think we read.
It's like, when you ask forthese things, like when I asked
for love, I got a bunch of shitback thrown in my face.
You know, during these timesand it was really hard to like
look at my part in it, you know, and look at how I needed to

(33:45):
change to be a better partner, because there were a lot of
things that I was not good atwhen we first met.
I was not a good girlfriend, Iwas not a good partner.
I was very selfish, becausethat's how I was taught to be
when I was growing up.
You need to be able to takecare of yourself, because nobody
else is going to take care ofyou.
You know you need to beindependent, you need to be able

(34:06):
to do everything yourself andnot need anyone else.
And how hard was that tounlearn, you know.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Absolutely, and to have a partner that's patient in
it, and obviously he wasunlearning things too, like we
all do.
That it's just part of growingand evolving and getting into
who we're meant to be.
That authenticity again gettingback to who we are and peeling
those layers and havingself-discovery and the awareness

(34:35):
is huge.
And I think what we really wantto leave you with here is just
a few reflection questions thatcan help you reconnect as you're
listening or coming back tothis, or even jotting them down
now and reviewing later, even ifyou're in a slower season or
whatever season you're in.
So one question is what seasonam I in right now and can I

(34:58):
honor it?
What season am I in right nowand can I honor it?
What season am I in right nowand can I honor it?
I love that.
Another question is where can Isoften instead of push?
Another good one when can Isoften instead of push?
Hmm, so think about reflect, reflect, maybe write down, jot

(35:31):
down, lizzie, and I love somefree writing.
You know, either a fewcleansing breaths or calming
your nervous system, meditation, and then just writing what
comes out of you, whether it'styping on your computer or free
writing onto the page andletting your soul, letting your
guides come through and help youwith your self-discovery.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
And don't worry that you're not getting every single
thought down on the piece ofpaper or out on your computer
screen, because the act ofwriting it out slows you down,
so only the important stuffcomes out on the page.
So hopefully by the end of thepage you have that answer to the
question that you're lookingfor, because all the answers are

(36:15):
within us.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
It's all within.
We're all one.
We are all interconnected.
We have access to all of ourpast and future lifetimes within
us.
Everything's within,everything's within.
That's why when someone sayssomething and you feel that ping
, you know it's true becauseit's within, inside of your body
.
Same thing with discernment,ping.
This isn't right for me.
It's within your body, so it's.

(36:38):
A big part of the process isreleasing and surrendering and
then writing things down.
Have grace with yourself.
Nothing needs to be perfect.
You don't need to be perfectdoing any of this.
This is all for youSelf-discovery and helping you
manifest your best life.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
For you, that alignment, that health, that
wellness, that happiness yes yes, and so, speaking of
manifestation, this is exactlywhy we created our 30-Day
Manifestation Challenge thisSeptember so not to push you to
do more, but to guide you, toalign more deeply and to
