Life is all about balance - especially while parenting.
On today's episode, Bethany talks to Allie Gabelman of Financial Intentions about how being intentional with your finances is a process of diligently reviewing and being mindful with your money. She reminds us to make sure that you are only spending money on things that are necessary or actually bring you and your family joy.
Allie also talks about how intentional spending is NOT extreme frugality. It is instead, ensuring you spend on what you truly need, or what brings you joy, and minimizing or eliminating the rest. The purpose of intentional spending is to be able to maximize how much money you have each month to send to your investments and savings goals. So it is important to know your "WHY" and keep that in mind when aiming to spend intentionally.

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
