Boson Medical Center Chief of OB/GYN Dr. Kate White on Combining Medicine & Motherhood

We dreamed about this on episode 3 and now here she is! Today we’re talking to Dr. Kate White, Chief of OB/GYN at Boston Medical Center and Professor & Chair of the Department of OB/GYN at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Kate completed her residency in OB/GYN at Tufts/Baystate Medical Center and her Fellowship in Family Planning at Columbia University (where she also received her masters of public health). She is active in multiple research studies in various areas of contraception and abortion, and frequently lectures locally and nationally on a number of topics related to reproductive health, including new contraceptive methods and shared decision-making. Dr. Kate is also the author of Your Guide to Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss and Your Sexual Health, both published by Mayo Clinic Press.

AND she is a mother of “2.5 kids,” as she says, including her glorious stepson.
