Do you have a favorite real estate quote or

mantra that guides yourinvestment journey?
That's a great question.
the easiest one for me toremember is that financial
freedom.
Kind of thing.
And of course that means a lotof different things to a lot of
different people, but just to beable to be as much in control of
my own situation as possible.

(00:22):
That's what keeps me going.
And there's a lot of backgroundto that Okay.
Give us a little more of thebackground to that.
I've always been in real estate.
in one way or the other, I grewup mom and pop in the kind of
student rental business.
So we'd buy old houses andsubdivide them into, internally
into different units and thingslike that.
And, but whenever I would have ajob like working for someone

else or whatever it was, I couldnever get my head around that.
I have to get up, I have toclock in, and then I have to
clock out.
And if I don't clock in andclock out when someone else
tells me to, then I don't makeany money and none of this stuff
works.
And I just never could reallyget my head around that whole
concept.
So I was always in this pursuitof how can I make money in my

sleep, if you will.
That whole thing has led me moreand more into.
Multifamily and investing incashflow real estate so that I
can have that income while maybeI'm doing things with my kids or
volunteering in the community orwhatever it is.
Man.
