The defendant is Erin TrudyPatterson.
She's age 50 and she's ofLeangatha.
Victoria Charges three countsof murder and one count of
attempted murder.
The plea is not guilty to all.

The Supreme Court of Victoriaheard on Tuesday details of the
police search at Erin's home inLlingatha on August 5, 2023.
At this time 2023.
At this time, officers seizedmultiple items.
These included a manual for afood hydrator, various

electronic devices and kitchenrelated appliances.
Investigators were specificallyfocused on locating food scraps
, packaging materials andelectronic equipment.
Homicide detective StephenEffingsall was giving evidence
that the search started ataround 11 20 am and continued

until approximately 3 45.
During this time, officerscaptured both video footage and
still photographs documentingthe kitchen area.
Photographs documenting thekitchen area, a dishwasher with
plates positioned on top and arecipe tin eats cookbook marked
by cooking stains and a tissuethat was used as a bookmark.

Among the electronics collectedwas a black Samsung phone found
in a wardrobe belonging to MsPatterson's son, a Samsung
tablet used by her daughter anda black personal computer
located in an upstairs room.
A kitchen scale and a gravyboat were also listed as amongst

the items noted.
When asked by police, msPatterson readily handed over
her mobile phone along with theaccess pin.
According to DetectiveEppingstall, she responded, of
course, and cooperated fullywith the request.
He told the court that duringthis August 2023 search of Ms

Patterson's residence,investigators noted that a SIM
card had been transferred into aNokia mobile phone allegedly.
The court heard that inDecember 2022, she ordered,
allegedly explained to herfriends on Facebook that she'd
replaced her phone after itbroke and mentioned she had

learned how to perform a quotehard reboot.
A second search warrant wasexecuted at her Leangatha home
on November 2, 2023, the day ofher arrest.
The purpose of that search wasto locate several items,
including a mobile phone.
Detective Eppingstall says themobile phone has quote never
