In this weeks episode of the podcast I talk with Lafayette, Louisiana based saxophonist/manager/entrepreneur - Dave Mouton.
Dave currently owns and manages the musical group Souled Out, which in addition to their own shows also acts like somewhat of a revolving door for a vast amount of local musicians, he also performs with his contemporary Jazz group, 'The Dave Mouton EXPerience' and even works as a sideman when he can fit it in.
Dave was also one of the first musicians I met when I relocated to Louisiana back in 2020 and even did a guest appearance on a song called 'Blue' by my band 'Deep Sleep Atlantic'.
We talk about musician life, teaching, answering the phone, content creation, getting and keeping gigs and so, so much more, check out the full interview below.
As usual, please remember to rate, review, like, share and/or follow as we continue to create content for you all, thank you.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
