This week on the podcast I talk with percussionist, composer, improv artist, multi media specialist, educator and cultural diplomat - Tom Teasley.
Tom is an American born musician who has lead a truly unique life as a career musician - working as both a drummer/percussionist and a composer. He started his music journey on a simple block of wood and has even represented the USA as a cultural diplomat across the world, where he has showcased his rhythmic skills.
Additionally Tom is a five time WAMA (Washington Area Music Award) winner, performed at the Kennedy Center several times and even recently released a new album called Lunch Break.
