What is resiliency and how do we get it? Resiliency is our innate ability to bounce back from the brink of a breakdown. The capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties or toughness. I hate to tell you, but most of the time we gain resiliency through really difficult life lessons.... We grow through grief, disappointment, heartache and betrayal to get stronger through it all. We face the ultimatum of sink or swim... Nobody is responsible for, or capable of bouncing back like we can like we can for ourselves.
