Speaker 1 (00:00):
Spent the entirety of they entire just as in the
Toilet Bowl, they just became relevant. We're not even we
don't even acknowledge the Cincinnati Bengals, the Bungos, and then
you had the worst stadium in America.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Listen, I can't deny that. Look.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
So, since the last time we all got together on
the note Castparts show, it's been a lot of sports
happening College pro Man, we got a lot to jump
into talk about. Man, So, Man without further ado, let's
jump into it man without with our first topic, Man,
who is your NFL MVP? This has been the talk
of the town for what the last two three weeks

(00:46):
really and people going back and forth. Right now, it
seemed like it's a two man race, but you know
there's been some other names that that was thrown out
as well. So I just want to get you a
guy's opinion, Man, who you got as the NFL Most
Valuable Player? This shit more money? Why don't you kick
it off for us?

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Brother?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Man?

Speaker 4 (01:06):
It's tough, Man. I wish the Bengals had made the playoffs, Like,
oh no, bullshit, A signed for Old doll Man because
Joe Burrow desirded to be the MVP, but nobody's gonna
vote to the MVP, and that didn't make the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
That's a tough one.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Rights.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
With that being said, Man, I hate to say because
I know Kobe going Lamar Jackson. Man, Hey, I'm looking
at the stats. I think it's like forty one and four.
That's it. That's that's the touchdown the interception ratio. Man,
that's that's that's crazy. And then you look at his
receiving corps versus a Joe Burrow receiving corps versus a

(01:43):
Josh Allen receiving corps, and I thought Josh Allen receiving
corp was trash. I mean, outside of A Flowers and
Mark Andrews, there's really not another receiver that's even in
the top twenty five, top thirty. You wouldn't put Baitman
ahead of anybody that's on the Buffalo Bill's roster or
the Cincinnati Bengals roster. So for that reason, I say.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
That's not true, But go ahead, you true.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
So you would put Babman over over our number three
receiver right now, but that's Lamar Jackson's number two.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You you said over any you get you said over it. Okay,
you didn't say one or two, you said over any.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah, you're right, you're right because y'all got that guy
y'all said, whatever his name is, man, some dude from
the IVY League. Man, I don't know, Man, I don't
go ahead, go ahead, that's my vote. I'm gonna let
y'all go. That's my vote. Lamar Jackson. It could come
down to Josh Allen O Lamar Jackson, but I'm going
Lamar Jackson, Okay to talk to.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I did my money Moore research. I'm gonna go last
on this one. I'm gonna go last money move. I
did all my research on this one.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Okay, I can go. I can go right now.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I'm very simple, bas period, I'm done. Did I Obviously
it would be Joe for me, not just because he's
the Cincinnati Bengals, because if every the two quarterbacks that's
done what he's done this year, both of them won
m v P. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and uh his
his amount of touchdowns to ratio to interceptions is crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
But you can't Yeah, I mean you can't be You can't.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Start the way we started and and and uh have
and not make the playoffs and even be considered. So
it's unfortunate, but we we got a lot of building
to do. We need to go get some old lime
and some other main pieces. We did the first thing,
get rid of that the coordinator. But uh mine's the
Sa Kwan man and just what he's done, what he's accomplished,

(03:42):
and yeah, so simple minus.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Definitely not that dude that play for Baltimore or the or.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
The other guy to play for the Toronto South team.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
I respect that. I respect that.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
I already know I know who your pick is, but
we let the viewer as a listeners hit your pick.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
So when we talk about stats, right, you talking about stats,
they want the most important stat for quarterbacks flat out
is winning, right because when you look at the stats
last year, Josh Allen threw for seven hundred more yards
in Lamar and he was responsible for fifteen more touchdowns
than Lamar. Last year, Lamar won the MVP because Josh

(04:28):
Allen was eleven to five as the starter, Lamar Jackson
was thirteen to three go of the change. Now Lamar's
don't now, Lamar got cop more passing yards. But when
you look at the advanced stats, Josh Allen is responsible
for eighty of his team's offense, the highest level in
NFL history. Their offense is averaging three points per drive.

(04:52):
That's the highest in NFL history without having a one
thousand yard rusher or a thousand yard receivers. Josh Allen
is doing it all and he's winning thirteen and three
as the starter. Get my managed, MVP.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Man got it on a twenty eight touchdowns bro twenty
eight touchdowns and he wins.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
He's respond but here he got to throw. Part of
that part of being MVP as a quarterback is he's
getting them in the ear zone. They averaging three points
per drive. I mean time to get the ball. Listen.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
That's enough for that, man.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I need to speak now, because for one, don't don't
come on a no cast for show podcast and imitate
fucking Dann Olasky man. I don't want to hear no
fucking Damn Oloski stats man, because that's that's no. We
don't want to hear that. So, so this is this
is what I'm saying. You know, y'all ain't know. My
pick is Lamar Jackson, all right, And and and the

(05:57):
reason why I'm going with Lamar is, for one, mode.
You already pointed out here his numbers. He got forty
one passing touchdowns with only four interception that has never
been done before in the history of the NFL. Forty
one passing touchdown with only four interceptions, that has never

(06:18):
been done. And then you add another four Russian touchdowns.
You know, that gives them forty five touchdowns on a year.
And that's not even including nine hundred and fifteen yards Russian.
You know what I mean that people like the gloss
over all the time, nine to fifteen yards rushing, all right,
and then you go stript for schedule. We talked about

(06:39):
this in the preseason, before the league even started. The
Baltimore Ravens had the number two toughest or hardest schedule
in the NFL for the twenty four twenty five season.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
You gotta remember that.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Also, the conference that the Baltimore Ravens play in play
in the AFC North. Everybody know, the AFC North is
a beast, is a monster, is physical.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
It gets nasty.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
So to come out of that conference and win the
conference even though his record is eleven and five and
the games that Josh Allen played he only lost three games,
I'm putting more weight on that eleven and five over
that thirteen and three that Josh Allen had, because you
look at Josh Allen's conference, the second place team didn't

(07:32):
even have a five hundred record. They were subed five hundred.
The Miami Dophins is eight nine, the Patrits was four
and twelve, somewhere like that. Four and twelve. Y'all play
six games against cupcakes, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
You can't. You can't. You can't do that cold. You
can't do that cold, because you got this thing.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Against cupcakes and we got six games, But we gotta go.
We gotta play Pittsburgh, who's hosts, who had a top
four defense this year. We had to play Cleveland, who
was offer in terms of record, but they had the
number one defense in the league this year. Don't forget that.
And then y'all already mentioned how dangerous to Cincinnati Bengals are.

(08:14):
Nobody wanted to see them make the playoffs this year,
including myself.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Because they're dangerous.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
They got the Joseph offense in the entire NFL, and
Joe Brown is the second best quarterback in the league.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
He has a pro He has a Pro Bowl wide
receiver and he has a runner back that ran for
nineteen hundred yards. And me, when you can run around,
when you can turn around a hand the ball off
to somebody that's almost getting two thousand, of course, that's
gonna open up a lot more for your quarterback.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I mean, let me respond to that. Let me respond
to that.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
How many How many had any.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Bottomore receivers pick as a top receiver in the league
this year when they came out the ESPN Top one hundred,
and then they had the ESPN Top twenty receivers, the
Baltimore Ravens was not represented at the receiver spot. All right,
we all know King Henry, we know his greatness, whatever
the case may be. But let me start with King Henry.

(09:21):
He had the most rushing yards he had in four years.
He had the highest rush Russian Russian average per carry
than he's ever had in his entire career.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
You feel me.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
And then you got the first one thousand yard receiver
in the history of the balter More Ravens franchise history.
They never had a one thousand yard receiver in that
or in that organization's history. So I'm telling you, as
Lamar Jackson. Being a quarterback is like being a great

(09:58):
point guard in the NBA. You make players around you better,
even if they already great players, you make them even greater.
He made Derrick Henry greater, he made he made Zay
Flyers greater, he made Baitman greater. He even rejuvenated Mark
Andrews career. Everybody thought Mark Andrews was done and now

(10:18):
he's back to being the Pro Bowl caliber tight end again.
That's what Mark Lamar Jackson did this year. And not
to not to mention his QBR is top four in
the history of the NFL. The only two names in
that list in the top four is Aaron Rodgers and
Peyton Manning, and both of them can make a case

(10:39):
arguably as being the best two quarterbacks to ever play
the game. So that's the type of stuff Lamar did
this year. His stuff was historic. It wasn't that he
just had a great season. It was historically great.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
And you can't.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
And that's all, and that's all. That's good, cool, that's great.
Both of y'all had great points. I think the whole
problem with the m v P it is done before
the it's the regular season, right, That's what it is
I know what I'm saying is now I think the

(11:15):
m v P should be the MVP when it's all
said and done, right, you know what for the super Bowl,
I know that that's but the super Bowl, that's one game.
I'm just talking about throughout the playoffs, I think it.
I think it like we should hold off and maybe
wait one or two games. And I think because sometimes,
like you know, I'm not saying this about Lamar, but

(11:37):
I'm just saying, like when Lamar when the MVP, but
then you know, you like Lamar's is great, Josh Allen
is great, but I want to see when it's in
the playoffs like Lamar. Lamar has done, no question, but
when it's regular season, regular season, you know, that's just
like when teams are the regular season changs, when let's

(11:58):
let's let's see what you do in these playof when
these windows get smaller.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
It's the same thing with Josh Allen.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Can you get over that hump you know two times
without Stefan dis Yeah, you had a great regular season.
And what Kobe is saying is right, you play, you do,
But what Kobe also saying is if you you can't
do that because it's not my Buffalo fault. That the
that's the division that they end, right, You play who's

(12:26):
in front of you, and Buffalo been wiping up the
teams that's in front of them, So we can't. We
gotta be careful when we when we say, oh, well,
you playing against this division or you playing against it,
you know you can't. You gotta be you gotta be
careful with that, you know what I mean. But I'm
just saying, appreciate it, and I just think that I
think I think that once that regular season is, you know,

(12:47):
even if it was just the two games in the playoffs,
you know, I think that's when we sort of see
especially when it's such a close battle like this year.
You got you know what I'm saying with Lamar with
you know what I'm saying, Josh Allen, I think that
would be dope, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
That's just my thing. That's just my pig.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
I think so because I respect that.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
But this is a regular season award, and you look
across all sports, they all have regular season MVPs, regular
season Player of the Year, that's just what it is.
And then they have their own category for postseason, right,
I mean, I mean it is what it is. If
that was the case, tried his hunter shouln't have got
the Housman, you know what I'm saying. But he was

(13:31):
he he he deserved that Housman like he was the
most impressive and the best player in all the college football,
you know.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
So that's why they break it down like that.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
So I can't.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I can't you know, you know, judge somebody's regular season
based on what you think they're gonna do in the playoffs,
of what they did in the playoffs and in the past.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
To me, it's just it's I got you.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
I'm just saying I think it would be cool if
it wasn't just because m v P to me mean
most Valuable Play, not just the regular season. I don't
care what you did in the regular season, Lamar, Who
cares if you go undefeated and then we're going home?
Right after Cincinnati went.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Home, Well, well we know the playoffs included. We know
Lamar wn't big because we know he eats a sandwich
every year in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Every year, it's all about the it's all about the
next opportunity.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Yeah, he hasn't played.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
He hasn't played great in the playoffs in the past,
and a lot of those bad, bad playoff appearances is
winning in his younger years, and then last year he
later aged in the AFC Championship game. But it's all
about it's all about getting better, progressive and your next opportunity.
So now here we go again. He comes in with

(14:53):
a with a with a better running game. He comes
into the playoffs this year as a better passer, a
better decision your maker, and I think they have a
team to make some noise. So let's see what he do.
Y'all already acting like this man is going layer egg
before even play a first playoff game.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Well, I got him.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I got him at least hitting two cheerleaders on the
sideline in the face.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
The most important quarterbacks is wins and losses. No matter
how football is the ultimate team sport, but quarterbacks are
just on wins and losses period. In the store, Josh
Allen got more players.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Were on the group chat all the time, you know,
when anytime, anytime one of my teams win, or any
time one of y'all teams, when we on the group
chat talking talking out trash, right, we were talking our
talk and what o dalk y'all played the School of
the Blind.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Y'all, y'all, you know what I'm saying. He quit, he quit.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
The tarn is the victory one of our teams have.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Right So, now all of a sudden, when we having
this debate, you can't help who's on the schedule?

Speaker 2 (16:00):
You who?

Speaker 1 (16:00):
You?

Speaker 5 (16:03):
Who?

Speaker 1 (16:04):
The who?

Speaker 4 (16:04):
The two best teams in the NFL right now, man,
they both in the NFC.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
You're doing about record? You going by record?

Speaker 1 (16:19):
That division was we kicked it. We kicked the chiefs
ass and we kicked the lion's ass.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
And I'm glad you said that, and we kicked you
all ass. T if I if I'm not mistakes.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Gloe, you can't just be you should have been talking
about oh what I said, Well, you can't be talking
about well, Lamar Jackson, he young, he doing this, this,
this and this, and he getting better. Now, if you're
gonna say he was young and he making mistakes, then
you gotta say young. You wanna be gonna praise him too,
you know what I mean? Both sides like you saying,
I get you.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
That's man.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
That's enough about Lamar man. That's topic bro. See. But
look that co that topic wasn't even a Bottimore. Y'all
just mad. He's so great, y'all.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Man, you talking about him for ten minutes, you did
five minutes of stats.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Hey look, hey, look hey, when you quarterback in this thing, you.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Pull me reading a piece of paper money, reading the
paper that y'all got.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
You got Puy reading, man, come on, you got he
got or loski u SoundBite.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
In the in the but.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Research, Yeah, age looks.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
So so so another piece of news.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
So another sports news topic that's been been discussed for
the past oh no, several days, a few days.

Speaker 5 (17:45):
It's Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
He comes out, they take a loss there the last
game of the season, and he gets interviewed at the
at the end of the game and he's like, man,
I went out.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
You know I can't I can't do this no more. Man,
I'm I'm not used to losing this, that or the other. Man.
What's what's your thoughts in that?

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Man?

Speaker 3 (18:03):
I got my old thoughts. But I'm gonna kick it
off with y'all. Man, man, what you think about Tyreek Hill?

Speaker 5 (18:08):
States?

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Oh? I mean, you know he asked to get to Miami.
You know what I'm saying? He wanted to bread. You
got your bread. But I ain't man like if I
if I don't know that my quarterback gonna be here
with me every week. Like man, when tour was gone,
I don't people they had playing quarterback, Man, that was terrible.

(18:30):
They looked like the man Jackson had first two years
trying to throw the football. Man, it was terrible. They
couldn't get Tyreek Hill the ball and shit. So if
I if I go through that, you know you gotta
fine night time, especially a guy like Tyreek Hill. You know,
somebody like Liry First Gerald or or a bigger receiver.
You like, you know, I probably get I take care

(18:51):
of my body. My game translations into getting older. Tyreek Hill. Man,
them hamstrings don't go into the thirties. It ain't a
lot of people with hamstrings that going to And Tyrek
Hill game is built on his handstring. So he like, man,
I got me just a little bit of time to
maximize what I can do with my talent. So he like, man,
I got to get the fuck out of here. On

(19:11):
what is gonna make his career better? You know I
can't be mad at him?

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Nice no money your thoughts, brother, Man, I said this
like three years ago when it happened Kobe, we had
to show. We was talking about Pat Mahomes and you
said Tyreek Hill he was gonna miss him. I said, now,
I think Tyreek Hill gonna miss Pat Mahomes. There's only
the league only has about five quarterbacks every decade that
are like that, and Pat Mahomes is one of them.

(19:41):
Where you gonna go besides Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Josh
Allen and find a quarterback like that. So you have
to ask yourself, I don't know the reports, and I
ain't counting this man money, But if the reports are
true and you talking about a five ten million dollar difference,
right and you playing with this court back and you
got that machine, is it really worth it to chase

(20:05):
the extra dollars? So he put itself in that position,
him one out. That's his business. But at the end
of the day, you should have known what it was like.
You've seen too at Alabama. The boy wasn't he wasn't
right in college, and you left one of the greatest
quarterbacks of our generation of this what this generation to
go play with him? So you put yourself in that position,

(20:26):
put him one out to the question.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
I understand two is not reliable. The Miami Dolphins. We
talk about the Cowboys and some of these other teams. Man,
they ain't been good since nineteen seventy five.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Man, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
You know, Damn Marino had a little run, but after
that they they've been trash ever since. So I understand
why he won out. But I will say this the
place that you go, you making thirty million dollars a year,
where you're gonna slide in for a good team when
you're making thirty million dollars a year, So be careful
what you asked for.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
He had to make that strict move though money more
that man got ten kids. Man, you can't see ten
kids in Super Bowl rings. Baby, you gotta he had
to go get that to Looper first.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
Man, Hey, he need to be Hey, he.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Got it. He like, Man, I can pay for these
kids down now, I can go think about winning again,
had Faber.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Hey, but if you winning Super Bowls, bro, you're gonna
get the endorsement deals you got, you got the state
palm commercials all that.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Hey, look, look, look, look, look, Kyrik Hill ain't getting
no endorsements to get to thirty min like thirty million
dollar endorsements. That's uh, you know Peyton Manning at the
top of his game, you know, like it takes a
lot of a lot to get to thirty man we.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Talking five, were talking three to five million, because Kansas
City was gonna pay him anywhere between twenty five and
twenty seven. They topped it off with thirty That's what
I'm saying, Like, that's that window is small. You can
make that up in endorsements, one hundred percent. You can
make that, especially if you win it.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Maybe maybe Oh Doug Taffree Hill statements fair or found.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Fair and very simple. It's not so much towards two.
I think it's more just towards the organization. And hey,
look I need a quarterback. That's one of the bad
things about playing offense. Whether you play running back, receiver, quarterback,
you need you know, you need to depend on someone else.

(22:39):
If you're playing defensive, you're playing rush edge, or you
playing LB and you the edge, or you playing dB.
I'm out there by myself. I don't care if we're
one in fifteen. I'm out here balling. I got six picks. Yeah,
we losing. I got six picks, I got three to
the crib. You know, I'm doing my thing. So when
you're playing that offensive position, you gotta have a quarterback

(23:01):
to help.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
You and that quarterback got to be on the same page,
whether you play wide receiver or running back. So I
think they I think I think Patrick Mahomes missed Tyreek
Though too right. That's the reason why you go get
a wide receiver that run the fastest in the NFL combine.
That's why they went and got Hollywood Brown because if
they didn't miss that deep, you know, that downfield threat,

(23:25):
then why would they go get those guys.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
They wouldn't got those guys to try to replace Tyreek Hill,
which they haven't done yet.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
They still need it, Oh noll, they haven't done it.
But they got two rings though one hundred.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Percent, you found a way to win. I'm not saying
I'm not saying that they didn't.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
What I'm saying that that don't mean because you got
a ring, that don't mean I don't miss him being
because they would have had two rings, but them two
rings might have came a little bit easier when Tyreek
Hill is there because Tyreek Hill walk in the room.
And if you a smart defensive coordinator, when we get
our plans for that week, you gotta believe Tyreek Hill
is the first person on on there. Besides with Patrick Mahone,

(24:02):
this is who we need to stop, you know what
I mean. So I can agree with what I'm saying.
It make it definitely make Patrick Mahone's job a little easier,
and make Travis kelsey job a little easier because now
everybody's not pushed down. Everybody is now they got to
back up, those safeties, gotta back up those linebackers, got
to back up, you know what I'm saying. So it
gives Patrick mahons a little bit more time to throw

(24:23):
the ball because now you can't bless me like you
used to.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
You better not, you know what I'm saying. So Tyreek
Hill brings more than just that down the hills, you know,
downfield or catches or whatever he bring.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
He brings the threat that every time I touch the ball,
I can score no matter where I'm at. And who
has the Kansas City Chiefs had since Tyreek Hills been gone?

Speaker 2 (24:46):
That no better.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
That's big fact.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Oh that's big facts. Because of the defense, but because
Brown and if they gotta respect their speed, but the
defense coordinators not respecting your speed. If you gotta pay
you know what I'm saying, Like you play maker, and
yet I see it, Pat Mahomes them didn't score thirty
points in all this year. It only team in NFL
didn't score thirty points one time.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
My point is felas, like what else Kansas City's supposed
to do is paying Mahomes the highest paid quarterback. It's
Travis Kelsey the highest paid tight end. It's Chris Jones,
the highest paid defensive tack. No, it's sacrifices have to
be made in this game if you want to win.
They asked Tyreek Hill to take a small sacrifice. We're
not talking about thirty down to eighteen million. We talking

(25:32):
thirty to twenty five. Again, I ain't count this man money.
I don't know what he got going on. But if
you want to look that up, money Moore, I think
it was a little bit more than five million dollar difference. Brother,
we gotta look at it. Yeah, search that for you, boy.
I think it was a little bit more than just
five million too. I don't I mean, we had you
know how that works when you get into incentives I'm

(25:53):
just talking about. I think it was more about it.
It wasn't so much about the overall per year. I
think it was the guarantee that was a big difference.
And when we talk about like poom he said, when
we're talking about guaranteed with them kids, they need to
eat and I got nineteen kids.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Hey listen, I can go get the bread and go back.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
So a lot of people he cant you know, he
can go back, But I think, uh, simple, sorry for
the lung of whatever I think Tyreek Hill is, they
is starting to understand, Hey, I need to get out
of here and try to get me a ring before
I you know, before I'm done.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, yeah, and while and why more money? Looking up
that uh looking up that information. My opinion on it is, hey, look,
you chose the bad and living in South Beach right
over winning Super Bowls with Patrick Mahomes and and you
know when things started to go south or when that

(26:52):
money that you got up front started to run out?

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Money or speaking of money, Kobe he got right here
on sports tac dot com. He got fifty nine guaranteed
from Miami.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
And what did what did uh? What did Kansas City offer.
You know, that's money more right.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
It came down to the guarantees. Kansas City was offering
forty five they had there was fifty plus Y's fifty
nine guaranteed.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
Yeah, I'm like fifteen million off. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Yeah, that's a big difference.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
That's a big different That's a lot of differ.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
That's big.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Good.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
God damn.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Look, and I don't thought Tyree got here like oh
to go go to Miami and get that bag. The
only thing I'm saying is now that that bag may
be starting to you know, you don't spend it and
and things not going as well on the field. Let's
not complain about it because these people brought you over

(27:49):
to their organization and gave you the bad because that's
what they that's how much they thought about you.

Speaker 5 (27:55):
And then, you know, I think jay Z had a
song it was all good. Just a week ago.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
He wasn't complaining when he was playing for possibly breaking
Megatron's record and getting two thousand yards in the season
and all that stuff, and they were still they still
wasn't going nowhere, progressing through the playoffs or making the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
But he was happy then. He wasn't complaining that. So
all I'm saying is, don't complain.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Now, you play out your contract, you play as hard
as you can, and then when you become a free.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Agent, if you choose to move on, move on gracefully.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Hey, you make all great points, but it's tough when
you when you don't have that quarterback playing at wide.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Reziver, a position he wasn't.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
I don't think he was complaining too much with Tour
when they was losing with Tour. But when you start
putting in all I can't even name who the quarterbacks was,
very rarely do you find a guy. And that's why
Pumy saw the name, the balls, the bigger body styles
like a Larry Fitzgerald.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
It ain't too many d hops out here in this world,
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Because the Hop did it. The Hop Hop did it
with quarterbacks we don't even know. And that's why you
got saluted gentleman like that, you know what I mean,
getting a thousand here, a thousand there every year with
the quarterbacks we can't even name, you know. So, But
he I don't think he was complaining when he was
losing with Tour. I just think he's I think you know,
overall frustrated or whatever, but you one hundred percent right.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
You're one hundred percent right.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
That's a fair good point, old dog.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
And keeping along the lines of quarterback play, we saw
a lot of great young quarterbacks this season, rookie quarterbacks
in your opinion, old doll, do you think this was
the best NFL quarterback draft class since two thousand and four?

Speaker 4 (29:37):
That's a tough one. Two thousand and four was you
got some I don't know. I think we need to
see a little bit more, but it was definitely they
I think.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Nah.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
Now, I mean to be honest with you, the only
rookie quarterbacks that I like that that's really out here
boogying is Daniels and call.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Up in Denver.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
Yeah, so, so you don't like that, I think the
jury is still out on the on the on on
a young man from Chicago and and uh the young
and you know Pennix in Atlanta. Like, I think the
jury is still out on those guys, you know what
I mean. Yeah, so, if you really look at it,

(30:18):
they only had two that was out here really.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Boogying, you know.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Yeah, so you gotta be careful when we we we
say two thousand and four that you got a little
Hall of famers Eli.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Done.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
So so the answer your question, keep it simple, no,
not even.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Not even yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
And I get it because the first name is that
that do popped the mind is Jadon Dames and Bo Knicks. Right,
you know what I'm saying. You you those two quarterbacks
doing doing the thing.

Speaker 5 (30:52):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
But there's a lot of a lot of stock, a
lot of praise in the and a lot of projections
where they saying that may may be the best quarterback
to come out that draft class as we as we
as we go and progress into the future at the NFL.
What's your thoughts with that money?

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Moe, So real quick, we all know the league two
thousand and four, that was twenty plus years ago, right,
It was a different NFL in two thousand and four,
Like wide receivers was getting harassed from the dressing room
and wasn't this free, open open space that they running now.
Quarterbacks was really getting hit. So it was a lot

(31:37):
harder for those that class of two thousand and four
to come in and do what they did. That's why
it was never done before. So in this new NFL
where everything is open. You'll see more quarterbacks that are
young be able to come in and perform. But I
can't put this class man in that class alone. We
saw a run of just NFC, NFC championship, AFC championships.

(32:01):
Should we got the Tom Brady killer in that class,
you know. I mean, so, nah, it's gonna take a
lot to top that two thousand and fourth for me.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Kobe, Yeah, yeah, and I get it.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
But you know, we looking at that two thousand and
four draft class as to what they already did, so
so it's kind of easy to make that argument. But
if you can kind of erase what they did and
just think think about it in a talent aspect, you
know what I mean, And twenty twenty three's talent versus

(32:33):
I mean twenty twenty four talent versus two thousand and
four talent. I'm looking at these quarterbacks this year and
I'm thinking they have the potential and they have the
talent to be better than all of those quarterbacks that
you just named from that two thousand and four draft.
I mean, this is the first season, so we haven't
seen it yet, but just going strictly off of potential

(32:57):
and where we think they can do. I think this
group is more talented than the two thousand and four group.
What's your thoughts on that provement?

Speaker 1 (33:06):
I think it's it's tough to say that because we've
seen what they are and I think sometimes now and
we have become a microwave generation and we want to
make comparisons right now, Like we think back Philip Rivers
ain't played as great as Philip Rivers was and wind
up being he didn't play as a rookie, you know
what I'm saying, So, so how can we compare it?

(33:26):
Like say, oh man, Jay and Danis and Philip Rivers.
Philip Rivers ain't played, but he had a hell of
a career. We don't know what Jay Dane's gonna do,
you know what I'm saying. So coming out of the gate,
Jaydon Dames old Nicks had two of the best seasons
ever for rookie quarterbacks. We can say that, we can
acknowledge that, but we also got to acknowledge that that uh,
that's four super Bowls that came over because other than that,

(33:49):
it was just being a ELI. They got u super
bowls out that class, right, did anybody else get dripping
in that class.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
I can look it over real quick.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
I don't think so though, But I mean, but it's
a lot.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
I mean, he did go to the super Bowl second year.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
You know, and that was I think that was a
rookie year. He went his rookie year, rookie year. So
that's that's what I'm saying, Like, it's hard to you know, you.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Gotta be so. I think we gotta be careful of comparing.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Deal and he thought r G three was.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Gonna be the next you know, people in Washington, d C.
Was about to make him the president.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Dante Coper Dante Copin for president.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
You gotta be careful. We gotta be careful. You know,
no disrespect to the young boy uh in Houston, Texans,
but he ain't.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Having the year he had last year. That part, now,
a lot of that is because of the receivers got hurt.
You know, obviously Tank dal On, a tankle whatever. But
even before they got hurt, he wasn't you know, he
wasn't doing what he was doing. But you know, once again,
it goes back to what we talked about, a quarterback
relying on receivers and receivers lying on relying on quarterback. Hey,

(35:12):
old doll, you got to take credit for the thing
that you brought to this show. When the one of
the first shows you brought it out, you said, everybody
gotta be careful praising these young quarterbacks because defenses don't
have tape. When they get that tape on you, they
start learning your tendencies. Are you gonna be able to
overcome those tendencies? So I want to see what these
young players do next year when everybody in the off

(35:33):
season start drafting against their talents. You start seeing the
Philadelphia Eagles draft a special defensive in or outside linebacker
with speed to play against that that run. So that's
what I want to see.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Go ahead, coch talk about the tendencies real quick. What's
the boy? What's the boy name?

Speaker 4 (35:57):
That was it with the Tennessee Titans The quarterback black quarterback? Ever, no, no,
the black quarterback of Vince Young. So Vince Young was
on the podcast, and Vince Young was talking about Tennessee.
Vince Young was on the podcast. He said they had
just lost in the ABC whatever whatever They was over
in Cabo and he said a gentleman that worked for
the New England Patriots came up to him and told him, hey,

(36:19):
you know, I get paid.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
To watch to watch you and watch your games. And
he was like, what you mean? He said, let me
give you an example.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Every time you come to the offensive line, when you
go underneath center, you rock back and forth, rock back
and forth, and then when you stopped, that's when the
ball is snapped.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
HM.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
So so we literally are telling our rush ends and
the people how we while we're setting up our blitzes,
when he's rocking back and forth, rocking back and forth,
or we disguising, disguise all but when he stops, just no,
that's when the ball is being snapped. That is how
precise this game is called. The National Football League has gotten.
So you know, let's be careful. Like we said, let's

(36:58):
be careful and see now did you get that?

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Next year?

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Come back, Well, we can have this conversation again. But
right now, I don't I don't. I don't think it's close.
That just that just just my personal opinion. I think
a lot of people sleep on what ELI did you
know whatever?

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Yeah, yeah, and that's fair, But but I do want
to give a shout out. I think in the small
sample size that we saw pinnis I thought he did
show us something and.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
Shout Fried mean when I said Atlanta to the right
thing by drafted Pining and o g Fried me, He's like,
I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
It now understanding now. And even then, even with the
struggles that Williams had, I saw a lot of talent there.
It's just I think that organization that he's playing for
is just he gotta get out of there, in my opinion,
or they need somebody else to come in there and
lead that that organization, that franchise. Yeah, hey, look we

(37:59):
got play on coming this weekend. Man, know y'all got
your predictions. Man, who we got?

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Man?

Speaker 3 (38:04):
First wild call round the NFL playoffs? We got some
great games more money. Man, Let's start with you, man.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Who you like?

Speaker 5 (38:13):
Who you like? The first wee get?

Speaker 4 (38:15):
All right, So we got Houston and the LA Chargers. Man,
that's a tough one because neither one of them want trustworthy.
But I guess I'd have to go with the proven coach,
which would be Jim Harbaugh, and I take it. I
take the Chargers, Great Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I can't trust
the damn I mean the dog on. We gotta stop cursing, right,

(38:37):
I can't trust the dog on. Yeah, we can't curse them, Sorry, listeners,
if yours, we can't curse no more. I gotta trust
Pittsburgh's offense. I can't trust it. So I'm gonna take
Baltimore Buffalo in Denver. I don't trust rookie quarterbacks in
the playoffs. Ben Roethlisberger ain't walking through that door. Give

(38:57):
me Buffalo, Green Bay, Philly, Give me Philly, give me
say kuon Barker, Uh, Tampa Bay and Washington that's another game.
I don't like neither one of them. But I go
with the home team, which is Tampa, and then the
l A. Rams in Minnesota. I'm telling you right now,
I'm taking the Rams in the upset. I don't like

(39:18):
what I see from Sam Donald. I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Yeah, no, you tough on him us on a quarterback?

Speaker 4 (39:27):
Yeah, hey, that last game. Oh don't I seen, guys,
bro I.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Seen in it. It broke. You said it started, you
said it starting. The real the real deal is starting
to happen now. Huh struck me tonight?

Speaker 5 (39:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (39:43):
Hey, uh cooon what you got?

Speaker 4 (39:47):
I like?

Speaker 1 (39:48):
I went I went money more on a lot of them. Man,
I'm feel the same way. I feel like Sam Donald
about the Sam Donald. You know what I'm saying, Like
I don't know what he's been doing, but he ain't
been Sam Donald. I think we're about to see, you
know who he really is. I like the Rams over
uh over the Vikings. One the game that I that

(40:10):
I really have been like on the fence on is
this green Bay. Like I know they lost Christian Watson,
but people sleep on Green Bay when you look at
green Bay. They kicked everybody ask in the NFL except
for Minnesota and Detroit. Like they only lost five games.
They lost to Minnesota, Detroit and uh they lost to

(40:31):
uh the Eagles. You know what I'm saying in Brazil,
you know, at the beginning of the season. So that's
that's five games, Like that's that's it. But they beat
everybody else and they only lost them five games. I
want to say, by like a total nine or eleven points.
It wasn't a lot. They ain't getting blown out. They
were losing by you know, three four points. And then
you know you Jalen Hurst still ain't in concussion protocol.

(40:53):
If he don't, he may not play. So I think
that uh yeah, jaylen Hurst has not clear concussion protocol,
you know, as up to date. So you know, I
don't I don't feel real comfortabout saying Philly, but I like,
but I can't feel the same way man about and
I just said it's the best with Kobe bad but man,

(41:16):
y'all ain't got no break history against Pittsburgh at home,
man like that, that ain't no just and as bad
as as Pittsburgh's offense has looked, Pittsburgh also can win
a game twelve to nine against y'all are twelve to ten,
you know, and it can be a knockdown, drag out

(41:36):
AFC North battle. But they got a level of familiarity
with y'all, and Pittsburgh just just a tough ass team,
you know what I'm saying. And I don't think Mike
County team is easy out, especially when it's somebody they
got that familiarity with.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
So just got kick.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Yeah, So I think that, uh, I think that's gonna
be a that's gonna be a tough one.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Man.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
You know, them two games, them the two games I
really want to see because I think those two games
are gonna be you know, can really go either way,
you know, what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
That's yeah, that's fair. Yeah, oh, don well who you
like first week?

Speaker 2 (42:22):
I like the l A Chargers.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
I like the Minnesota Vikings. I think Sam Donald gonna
bounce back. When you got a guy like Justin Jefferson,
he's gonna force him to bounce back. I like Pittsburgh,
not not just because I don't like Baltimore. I just
like Pittsburgh. I think because when the team just beat
you like that, and like you said in it, when

(42:45):
you're playing a division team, you know, stuff go out
the window.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
Man, you know, you know each other's tendencies, you.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Know, you know.

Speaker 4 (42:53):
I think that's gonna really come down. I think it's
gonna be a slug, you know. I don't think it's
gonna be a lot of scoring. I think it's just
gonna be one of those type of North battles, you know,
or whatever I think it did. I think I saw
I'm taking Pittsburgh. I'm taking Washington to go down and
Tampa and upset Tampa and the Buffalo who y'all played. Oh,

(43:17):
and I'm taking Denver to upset Buffalo. I like Denver
to upset I like Denver to upset Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
I think a lot of people sleep on man. Denver
got a good defense man.

Speaker 4 (43:29):
They gotta, they got, they got some guys that can
get after the passer, and they gotta they got a
corner that can say, hey, I'll take this guy, pastors
say and say, hey, I'll take this guy. And you
guys can do whatever you guys want. You can do
all kinds of coverages and whatever. I think that's gonna be.
I think it's gonna be a good game. And I
think they got enough speed up front to get after

(43:51):
Josh Allen where you can keep a linebacker to maybe
spy him from all that running stuff that he'd be
doing or whatever.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
So I think it's gonna be a good I think
that's gonna be a good That's gonna be a good one.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
Yeah, I agree for me, I got I'm going Minnesota.
You know, I'm not going to judge Sam Darnold by
the last game he played. He been like so all
season long. I got the Charges over the over the
Houston Texas. They just haven't been been looking at greats
for the past several weeks. To me, and I trusted

(44:23):
Chargers a little bit more. I think they I like
hardball as the coach. He he's been there, done that.
I'm taking Buffalo over Denver, even though I think that's
that's a tricky game because just all the points that
old Dog just made. I see him too. But you know,
with the season that Josh Allen havn't and and and

(44:44):
uh and and and the Bills is having, I just
think they can overcome any obstacles in the in that game.
Originally I was gonna go green Bay over Philly, but
but green Bay were losing Watson, We're losing that outside
threat and all that stuff. And I and I get
it that uh, that Phillies quarterback. You know, concussion protocol.

(45:06):
But old Dogs said in the beginning of the show
Man his his m v pick, m v P pick
was say, quel Bach, as long as you got that
man right there to hand it off to, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 2 (45:16):
You know, and that ain't nobody heard. Ain't nobody in
their old line concussion.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
Protocol, right, and then and then they had something, and
then they got some hell of the receivers on outside.

Speaker 5 (45:27):
So you know, so whoever that so whether uh what's
his name, who.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
Jaylor hurts, Whether Jaylor hurts play quarterback or back or
it's back up.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
Canny picks was it wasn't he in the drive class
last year's Drift Class twenty twenty three?

Speaker 5 (45:49):
Oh yeah, first Brown? Yeah right, yeah yeah. So so
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
So I'm going with Philly Philly in that matchup, and
then last I'm going bought them over Pittsburgh. But I
don't worried, you know, because because like you said, you know,
both teams familiar with each other. Is an afc ugly game,
you know what I'm saying. But I get it that
Pittsburgh has been looking bad for the past several weeks.

(46:16):
They can't generate any points, and We've been trending the
other way.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
You know.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
I running game been going well, our passing game and
going well. So I think we do pull out that game.
But one thing that does concern me. You know, we
out here in the DC Baltimore area. You know, Friday
night is going to snow into Saturday, so and so
so it's a good chance that there will be snow
on the ground for that game on Saturday night. So
that may change up strategies a little bit and they

(46:44):
help out Pittsburgh a little bit more flowers.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
They flowers supposed to play. Is he so right now?

Speaker 5 (46:50):
He's day to day.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
They say he's getting better, so he does have a
chance to be on the field on on Saturday. So
that's that's good news. But uh, yeah, I'm looking forward
to this first man, these first week games of monsters.

Speaker 4 (47:04):
Man.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
NFL season has not let us down at all this year. Yeah,
so so shout out to them, man. So let's transition over.

Speaker 4 (47:13):
Man.

Speaker 5 (47:13):
We also got some other big time games man in
the college ranks. Bro.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
We got we got the final four of the college
football playoffs for four really good teams that's competing to
go to the championship.

Speaker 5 (47:27):
Game and and Miami not them.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
And potentially win the national title. But before we get
in the street, before we get up too the fourteens
that's playing in the final for the playoffs, your reactions
to Marcus Freeman, head coach, you know, the dame of
James Franklin, head coach of Prien State, breaking ground as
the first black coaches to lead their teams to a

(47:54):
CFP semifinal.

Speaker 5 (47:56):
Man, let's start with you, what's your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
On that very simple backting honor to them both two
black head coaches. That's doing it the right way. One
of them atter.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
Uh, basically more of a white university at Notre Dame obviously,
the demographic and is a lot different there. And for
him to get that opportunity because we all know, as
you being a Notre Dame fan, Kobe, a lot of
the fans was calling for him to be fired, you know,

(48:28):
him out of there.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
So for him to bounce back, Man saluted him.

Speaker 4 (48:32):
And then I've always been a fan of James Franklin,
even when he was at University of Maryland.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
I think University of Maryland messed up by not giving
him the job, and they brought the dude fred whoever
they gave I forgot who who was whom? You remember
who they gave it to? Was it Fridge?

Speaker 1 (48:48):
No, No, it was Fridge. It was the Yeah, not
the dude that that said. Uh, I can't first time
when he was the one that killed the kids, you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (49:03):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 4 (49:05):
Yeah, so they I think they should have gave it
to him, but they decided to give it to another gentleman.
So salute to both those guys. I think it's gonna
be awesome to see. It's a shame that they put
both those guys against each other. Obviously that's just the
way the numbers fail. Or whatever it would have been.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
It would have been awesome to maybe see them play
in the Super Bowl, sort of like Tony Dungee and
Lovey Smith did back in two thousand and six.

Speaker 3 (49:32):
Mm hmm POONI what's your what's your thoughts about two
black quarterbacks representing them representing their teams and universities in
the CFP semi finals?

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Well, black coaches, not quarterbacks, But I think salute to
both of them.

Speaker 5 (49:49):
Uh R.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
I hate the Beijing. That that that Marcus Freman be
wearing in his head. I'm like, come on, man, do
something better than that. Man, get that beajing out, you know, saying.
But besides the Beijing, man, I'm proud of the young man.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
He got. He do got some type of Asian descent
and it's so good.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
Man. I think that not the dame they got they got.
They got to look at the Irish this year because
they keep pulling up. Sorryest I don't believe it, can't
say so. I think they gonna win this.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Now, we're gonna get to that point.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
No money, your reactually on on on two black head
coaches representing their universities and in the semi finals of
college football playoffs.

Speaker 4 (50:47):
Man, it's the significance of it really comes down to
the programs that they represent. You know, when you think
about Penn State, you think about Joe Paterno, you think
about Notre Dame, you think about Lou Holts, some of
the other coaches that they've had over that time. So
it's not just that their meeting, it's the organizations or
the colleges that they represent. And I'm a salute anytime

(51:08):
I see two African Americans that's doing it the right way.
I don't hear anything negative about them in the news,
so I don't know them from a canap paignt but
they look like they're doing the right thing setting an
example for the youth. So in that game, in my opinion,
there is no losers. So whoever goes out there, I
hope they continue to represent the culture and pushing us forward.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
Yeah, and my take on it is salute to both
of those brothers. You know, I wish both of them
good luck. Of course, I'm a know the Dame fans,
so I'm leaning with Freemen.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
But for me, this.

Speaker 3 (51:44):
Is a big moment because not only are these two
black coaches representing two blue blood universities, two blue blood programs,
but I think the key word to what we're going
to be seeing is weekend.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
It's opportunity, you know what I mean. So, so you
give these black coaches, African American coaches, opportunity to coach
these teams at programs like Penn State, Notre Dame, or Alabama, Georgia,
all of these big time universities. You'll see this probably
almost every season. You know what I'm saying, And shout out.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
To Dion Sanders to even though you know the job
he's doing that Colorado, taking them from the mud and
giving them some similance of hope.

Speaker 4 (52:30):
You know, he will be the Raiders' head coach next year,
Mark my word, he will be the Rader. He's gonna
take your door, and then he also gonna take his son.
He will be the Raiders' head coach next year.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
Go ahead, go and you heard it.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
You heard it here first on the note cast for
show podcast, Old Dog said that Dion Sanders will be
the new head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. All right,
you heard it, Hey, you heard it. In first, you
know what I'm saying, but new but yeah, but that's
that was my only take on that. Man, just just
opportunity and with that represents for for black coaches coming

(53:13):
up after them. I think athletic directors programs that I
think they should feel more comfortable like, hey, let's get
let's get this god shot right here, not and not
keep hiring the folks that they used to or they
used you know what I mean, or someone that looks
like them, you know, because we can't do the job
with an opportunity. So with that being said, we got

(53:35):
four teams. We got Ohio State versus Texas, got State
versus nore Dame. It should be two great games. What's
our predictions?

Speaker 2 (53:45):
More money? Who you got in those two games? Brothers?

Speaker 4 (53:48):
Oh man, I'm with I'm with pulling me. Don't trust
Penn States. I'm gonna go Dame. I like Ohio State
a lot. I like Ohio State a lot. They got
one of the most one of the generational talents in
college football right now, Jeremiah Smith, and it's gonna be
out for anybody to deal with him, and the booth

(54:09):
and the other wisee receiver and the and the two
running bats they have, so overall, I take Ohio State
to win it.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
To win it all, to win it all.

Speaker 5 (54:20):
Oh doll, you like those You like those picks back
more money?

Speaker 2 (54:24):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (54:24):
Yeah, I like Ohio State and I like Uh. I
definitely don't like not their dame. I like Ohio State
and I like uh Penn State.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
I like.

Speaker 4 (54:36):
I think Ohio State your h Everybody talk about he's unstoppable.
He's unstoppable, but they don't also need to understand it's
a gentleman that plays for university attetions to just win
the gym thorpe award, and if he goes out and
does well against him and balls out or whatever the
case may be, this is a money making game for
this gentleman right there. So if that defensive back goals

(54:56):
and I hold my own regardless of the score. Once again,
here I go talking about I don't need my team.
Right If I go out and do my thing and
I hold him four catches for forty two yards right
on eight targets or nine targets, then I won not
you know what I mean, Texas lost, but I won
my game, right So, But I think Ohio State is

(55:20):
I think Ohio State too much power.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
I truly believe it. They got more than just him.

Speaker 4 (55:27):
I think that's what opens up those because you gotta
put some people in the box with those two running backs.
And I think it's gonna be a good game. But
I like Ohio State and I like Penn State just
because they so boring to watch. Man, they lower you
to sleep, and then they throw it to the big
six seven tight end guy, and I think, yeah, it's
it's that's gonna be the that's gonna be a very

(55:47):
boring game between Notre Dame and because Notre Dame, besides
the running back number four, who else do they even
have on their team?

Speaker 2 (55:55):
Shout out to my.

Speaker 4 (55:56):
Boy Jordan Clark, that's on the defense. No disrespect to you,
Jordan's on the defensive side.

Speaker 2 (56:03):
Who else did you have?

Speaker 5 (56:05):
But know that they ain't do have the number one
ranked defense in the country.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
So I said that, I said, I said, they got
a safety that's gonna be a first rounder, that's a monster.
You know, they got some dogs on the on the
defense I'm talking about. I'm talking about the offensive. Offensively,
it's gonna be I think it's gonna it's not gonna be.

Speaker 5 (56:22):
A you know they have a collective effort type. They
poom dog. Who who you picked? Miami?

Speaker 1 (56:35):
I know that Florida State. That's why I know it
ain't for Andy Flow the state. But uh, I'm Ohio State,
and uh I just don't trust the state. Man, I
just don't you know. And that's gonna be a terrible
game to watch. It ain't gonna lie to you know,

(56:56):
the Dame State. I might just have to catch that
the highlights on sports those are two. Don't nobody want
to see that ship but Kobe, Kobe's gonna be watching
it with his Joe paternal dogs, you know what I'm saying.
Don't nobody want to see that? Trans State gonna kick

(57:20):
both pup and the teeth when they play whoever they
play is getting kicked in the teeth when they play
Ohio State. So Ohio State to win it all.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
Yeah, I got Ohio State beating Texas obviously. If Texas
can somehow pull pull off the upstat I'm all for that.
I think Texas should be uh using the young man
and boy ad quarterback more because I think some of
those games they lost against those Marquille opponents, they needed

(57:50):
a quarterback who had a little bit more swag and
a little bit more mobility, and I think he could
have got them over the top end of some of
those games that they lost this year. So I think
if they put a monkey Rich in the game against
Ohio State and put young in in there, I think
that they have an outside chance of getting the upset.
Not the Dame Penn State. From everything that I've read

(58:12):
and heard, they like evenly matched teams. They kind of similar,
they kind of they resemble each other. I haven't really
watched Penn State play much this year at all. I
heard they got an all world tight end that's pretty
much unstoppable. So hopefully with us having a number one
defense in the country, we can do something to slow

(58:33):
him down, and then hopefully we can do enough offensively
because we have three very very super super fast running
back so hopefully we can control the running game offensively.
And then also we have an excellent secondary, I mean
not a secondary, but special teams, so hopefully win a
special teams game because we do a lot of we

(58:53):
do a lot of we do a lot of stuff there,
so we I gotta know the Dame over Penn State
if of course, if not the Dame play Ohio State.
Ohio State is gonna win it all. I got them.
If I had to project one of those teams to
win it, all's gonna be Ohio State. But if Texas upsett,
the I got not to Dame winning their first national
title since nineteen eighty eight. I said, at first, you

(59:15):
heard it on the No Cash Sports Show podcast from.

Speaker 4 (59:18):
Money More Money, Mo boom, they run back one kickoff
return now all said, we talking about specialty.

Speaker 5 (59:26):
Hey, no, look it up, look it up. See I
had to do it. Hey, look the first time in
twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
Man, I had to see here, I'm trying to start
twenty twenty five right man, And the same man had
to come out, Oh my god, we got we.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
Got to rope. We gotta rotate that button because sometimes
you need to get it. We should rotate that button. Man.
You know what I'm saying. You can't it out that
button all the time.

Speaker 4 (59:59):
You got it talking all sudden, money more He talking
about Yeah, I want to bring in his special team.
And we ain't talked about special teams the whole three
two years.

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
The money no, because I know he knows money. Mom
My lion, they get him kudos about this special team.
Just let they talk about the stilling special teams. We're
supposed to have a special special teams unit.

Speaker 4 (01:00:21):
That's come on, hey, this no cap now you know
they do that because their office is trash. So you
got to point the sun.

Speaker 5 (01:00:32):
You know, they lead, they leave the new block punts, right,
they do they do?

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
They do? They do? Man, listen, man, you're talking about
block money. Man.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
You ain't starting off the twenty twenty five No Cashboard
Show talking about block punts.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
Bro, Like, come on, Brome, we're winning. We gets it's
getting messy out there.

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
We gotta do what we can now, y'all playing now,
y'all playing pall?

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
Hey, Hey, hey, I get hey, that's fair our step
the criticism. But one thing for damn sure, we didn't.
We didn't and we're not playing in the pop Tart Bowl.
I'll tell you that we're not playing in the pop
Tart Bowl. And now only are we not playing in
the pop Tart Bowl, we're not going to lose in

(01:01:30):
the pop Tark Bowl.

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
Hey, maw, y'all trash, y'all awful.

Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
Man, don't ever speak about college football for the rest
until next year.

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
I don't want to hear nothing you talk about Notre
Dame their first championship since eighty eight. They ain't even
our cell phones at eighty eight. Man, you wasn't you
wasn't you wasn't even a teenager eighty eight. You're almost fifty.
Last time, last time they were, you was eleven years old.
Cut it out, Cut it out. You're fifty. Last time

(01:02:08):
the tap Tip you was the eleven man you were
eating pop tarts. Yeah you would. You're like, let me
let me get some sugar tops lom pop tuns low
so I can watch.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
I would rather be relevant year after year after year
after years, then to go to.

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
The Pop Talk Bowl. I might eat them, but I
ain't playing in it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
If I was the team captain, we go to the
coach's office and say, coach, we are not playing.

Speaker 5 (01:02:46):
We will for go our bowl. Berth, we are not
playing in the Pop Top Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
That shout out.

Speaker 4 (01:02:52):
Shout out to all the uh the youngs that playing
in the bowl, all the college kids is now preparing
for the NFL Draft. Shout out to the young boy
Kenny Gallup six Carson, all the youngs from Howard University,
all the youngs around them, all around the all around
the country that is preparing for this NFL Combine and

(01:03:15):
NFL Pro days. Man, Shout out to you guys, man,
keep your head down, continue to work, stay grinding, Stay
away from people that's not don't have your your your
values and you know what you're trying to get done.
You know what I'm saying as far as mindset, if
somebody's trying to get you away from it, then that's
that's not the people that you need to be around.

(01:03:37):
So shout out to all those guys talking about bowl
games and just finished playing in the bowl games and uh,
you know, getting ready for this college uh combine stuff.
Shout out to.

Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
Those absolutely and definitely salute to you KG man. Big
season this year. Man, you you followed up an excellent
last season and played even better this season.

Speaker 5 (01:03:59):
I'm gonna looking afford to to watching you for the
rest of your career.

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
I know we're gonna be watching you on Sundays, and
I'm hoping you just up the belt wagh in Baltimore, brother,
because we definitely could use you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
Man, Listen, you y'all could definitely need y'all need First
of all, no cheerleaders going up on the pyramid because
we don't want Lamar knock hitting them in the face,
knocking them all.

Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
That's the first thing. Lamar Jackson gonna hit somebody on
the sidelines in the face with the ball. I'm telling
you watch.

Speaker 5 (01:04:35):
With only four picks, you don't hit the other team.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
So I take it. You right, You're right.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
But look, look we we already we already been going
a little overtime. But before we roll out, it's one
more topic. I think we should discuss.

Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
UH.

Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
We'll be irresponsible.

Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
We don't discuss a hot topic that you know, our
viewers and listeners want when our opinions on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
So, the biggest story that's been going on out there
in the past forty eight hours is the is the
Fox Sports Network scandal, whatever the case may be. So
a hair stylist, I think her name is Newshan Faraji.
She filed a lawsuit against Fox Sports Network that also

(01:05:17):
included UH, a lawsuit against executive vice president Charlie Dixon,
show host Skip baylest show host Joy Taylor, and also
Emanuel Acho was was mentioned in the lawsuit. Before we
get out of here, I just want to go around
the horn to get your guy's opinion. On on this,

(01:05:40):
on this later scandal, and I know I'm gonna I'm
gonna save you for last, Old Dogs, because it's kind
of something we've been touching on for the past couple
of years. When when you get accusations like this, you
know what I'm saying, and the way they've been handling
these accusations compare to when let's say an athlete get
these accusations. I want to owe Mother to take the

(01:06:02):
anchor on this one and give his opinion last.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
So I start with you more money, man.

Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
Cat Williams done started some ship, sure getting exposed. Man, Man,
all I can say is, man, sometimes you know, we

(01:06:29):
look at people and you can tell maybe they don't
have the greatest of character. Something in my soul just
didn't sit right with Skip Bayless. I always knew he
wasn't no good. But I don't wish any bad on anybody.
I don't know all the details of the case, but
it fits with my with my intuition was telling me
about Skip Bayless. So you know, the truth to come

(01:06:51):
out in the matter. But I know Old Dog will
teuch on it. So I'm not even gonna go down
that road. I'm gonna let him drive that bus. But
all I can say is everybody doesn't get treated the
same in these situations. Some people are guilty and to
proven innocent, and some people got to prove their innocence.
So that's all I got to say about that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
Put me your your you're your response to the allegations.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
So I haven't like looked too deeply into them. I
know they talked about uh uh skip Bayley's offering one
point five. That's a that's a mean you must really
really want her if you will to get one point five, Like, like,

(01:07:38):
come on, skip one point fine? What point fine? That's crazy?
And Jordy Taylor the only thing with the with the
George Taylor equation. You know, I'm not gonna say I'm
the biggest Joy Taylor fan, But I think she did
a good job, Like you know what I'm saying, Like

(01:07:58):
I think she did or show she did a good job.
So I think it's kind of unfair down the narrative
that everybody's giving her, Oh you slept your with Well,
I think the fact that she got an opportunity, how
she got it, she shows that she's capable of doing
the job. You know what I'm saying, and the fact
that this talented woman can't get that opportunity without sleeping

(01:08:19):
with somebody. I think there's more indictment on our culture
and society than her, you know what I'm saying, Like,
because I think she's talented, I think she does a
good job, and if given the opportunity, she would have
done the job, you know what I'm saying. So that's
where I'm I think is it's unfortunate, you know what
I'm saying, because women are always looked at differently than men,

(01:08:42):
you know what I'm saying. Like we saw that, you
know in the presidential you know campaign like Donald Trump's.
They could to say things that common hers can never say.
He's able to do things that she couldn't do. It's
the same way because if it was a dude that
if that executive vice president was a woman and a
dude slept with her, with nobody, you know, think any
differently of him, you know what I'm saying. And I
think that's sometimes it is out fair, but it's the

(01:09:04):
world we live in, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (01:09:07):
Yeah, yeah, I agree with both of you guys, And
I think just just h.

Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
The newest trend for a lack of a better word,
the newest trend that we're going to be seeing for
for probably the rest of the year, into the into
twenty six. You know, we we've seen other things, you know,
throughout the past, you know, throughout the past five years
or so, and it kind of fizzled out after years.

(01:09:36):
So and I think this just the newest one. And
I think, like more money saying, I think Kyle Williams,
I think he kicked it off. I mean, as funny
as it may sound, he's I mean, his prediction has
come true since he said that a lot of people
has been getting exposed. A lot of things that has
been going on in the dark has been coming out

(01:09:58):
to light. Now again, these are just allegations, so we
don't know if these accusations are true or not. But
you know, as much as I wanted to be true
about Skipped Bayless, I just don't have him offering a
woman one point five million dollars to sleep with it.

Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
I just I just can't see him doing that. But hey,
you never know that.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
The Charlie Dixon executive vice president accusation, Hey, who knows.
I mean, it happens all the time, especially in the
in the whole TV world. We saw that whole uh,
that old TV series about how Fox News got started
and how and how that executive he was, he pretty
much slept with all the anchor women that got their position.

Speaker 5 (01:10:45):
So we I mean we it's something that happens.

Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
We see it all the time, so I wouldn't be
surprised if this stuff that has come out to be true.

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
We'll see.

Speaker 3 (01:10:55):
But right now there's allegations and the joy E manual
at your thing. I mean to two young people see
each other all the time. It happens, right, it happens.
So some of it, some of it is big news,
some of it just being Patty, we really don't need
to hear about it. But I'm interested to see where

(01:11:15):
where this stuff lays at. And old dog, I want
you to take us home with this one.

Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
I'm not gonna be I'm not gonna be too too
long or you know, go like I normally would moneymoe
uh since we just had our uh, we had our
pre meeting earlier, so I want to but I am
going to but I am gonna talk a little bit
about you know, we're sitting here talking about the skip

(01:11:41):
baylist thing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
But nobody's talking about the former Abercrombie.

Speaker 4 (01:11:45):
And Fitch uh ceo where he was they were doing
a whole you know, as far as sex trafficking men
right for over it it was over eight to ten years,
but we don't. We don't talk about that way we
talk about an athlete, you know. Whereas allegations getting into
an argument over at the elevator, you know, that's all

(01:12:08):
over ESPN and our people, right, our people are quick
to say, oh, will crucify him or crucify or whatever
the case may be, you know, but nobody talks about
this situation or whatever. Now, part of that is because
obviously with the narrative, we know who controls the media, right,
so we're not going to see that, you know, like
as if we would see like you guys probably I

(01:12:30):
don't even know if you guys knew about the Abracami.

Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
And Fish CEO thing.

Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
I did.

Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
I look that up. Now you I'm not going to
talk about how nasty and disgusting it is. It is disgusting,
is it is? It is terrible.

Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
That's the reason why I'm not going to talk about
it so much. But with that being said, this is
something that was going on for ten years, right, sex
trafficking for ten years, right, you know, and they have
proof in an indictment, right, but when you know, not
obviously not saying anything with Diddy Sean whatever his name

(01:13:04):
is did.

Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
But that's all over everywhere. Right.

Speaker 4 (01:13:06):
You got videos out, movies, documentaries out, but nobody's talking
about what this gentleman did or what this gentleman did
at Fox. As far as Skip billis goes in Acho, Hey,
they work together.

Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
Out getting fried co worker.

Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
We do what we do, We still gonna be And
like Poomy said, she is good at what she does.
I don't care who she slept with. It's none of
my business.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Joy Taylor is good at what she does.

Speaker 4 (01:13:35):
She really is. You know, she controls the room. I
like how she works with Keith Shan and Paul Pierce.
Now they got a great you know, the great energy
and stuff like that. I like when she was on
the show with Acho and all the shady McCoy and
the other boy Jones or whatever. They used to play
a green Bay. So I think she does a great job.
As far as Skip offering, whatever had Lil Wayne said

(01:13:59):
it best, it ain't triggering if you got it, So, Hey,
if you can offer somebody one point five for whatever,
and it's so big, that's on you, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Uh. But I think it's just unfortunate because we're not
seeing the press or the media. We're not seeing the
news clips. I mean, you know, Sean did its Puffy come?
It was every I mean, you wake up, first thing
in the morning, last thing before you know, you go
to sleep. But here it is. I bring up the
Abercrombie and Fitched former CEO and three of my uh

(01:14:29):
you know co hosts has never even heard about, and
this is something that's been going on. It happened.

Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
He got indicted at the same time Puffy or Sean
whatever's name is, got indicted, you know what I mean.
And in the same say, they got witnesses, the whole nine.
So it's unfortunate, but I think we sort of know
what it is. But let's as a people, let's stop
beating up these athletes.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
Yeah they know who I'm looking at.

Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
Stop beating up these athletes and so yeah, this athlete,
this athlete or whatever, have that same energy for not
just the athletes, but let's have that same energy for
everybody that's out here. Because I don't care if you're
an athlete or whatever. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Right,
So let's keep that same energy, you know, not just
for athletes, but for everybody, whether they're male, female, old

(01:15:22):
or younger or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:15:25):
And let's let's stop jumping to conclusion and saying the athlete,
the athlete, the athlete.

Speaker 5 (01:15:31):
Yeah, yeah, man, yeah, salute to that man. You you
heard it right here.

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
And I just want to salute Joy Taylor to old
Doll's point, she does do an awesome job. She she's
one of the best out there in mainstream media, sports media,
and also in the podcast space with her and Tayler Rooks,
they have an awesome podcast as well.

Speaker 5 (01:15:54):
She she's doing she's doing her thing, man, and shit.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
With that.

Speaker 5 (01:15:58):
With that being said, we're gonna go ahead and wrap
it up. Man.
