welcome back.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Coach.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
Welcome back, Coach, welcome back.
Speaker 6 (00:54):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (00:55):
Jeez, welcome back.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
Jeez.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Look, you act like everybody ain't on, ain't on here,
high Draton, we all hydrating somehow, jump out there, fellas
talking about chips.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
And look and this ain't strap bucks.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I know that's right, Yeah, little fellas. I'm good, Yeah, sure.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Enjoying this beautiful playoff basketball, Yeah absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Man, let's let's jump right into it, man, because we
got a lot to rap about. So man, without further ado, Man,
let's talk about these topics. So you just you just
mentioned the NBA playoffs. Man, it's still they're still playing
at a high level. They're still giving us some exciting
games to watch. Ship the Pacers there their thing. They got,
(01:58):
you know what I'm saying. They moved on to the
next next round and got Cleveland up out of there.
I know, O Dog, you and I both we picked
Cleveland to finally live up to their seating and make
it to the NBA Finals. But you know that that
didn't work out. So let's just let's just start with
(02:19):
this one series before we move on to to the
other series. Because Coach Milton had brought this up a
little earlier offline, so I wanted to, you know, let
the whole group discuss it. Do you think Cleveland playoff
Wolves is? Uh, it's the fault of Donovan Mitchell that does.
That's his And I know Mo had I know when
(02:42):
I think I know when gonna go with it because
he had a similar tape about Dame Lillard a couple
of few years ago. So so so you know what,
let me start with more money. Then we go to
Old Dog and we're gonna we're gonna cat this conversational
with Coach Milton.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Well, then I want to go.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
You gotta go Coach Milton after money more because we
don't know what he's saying, I want to respond to
what coach Milton said.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
All right, bet so look I'm last. I'm go last, Hey,
coach Milton, kick it off and then and then let
the Fellers respond to you.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
So yeah, so me so right after the game, and oh,
you know, you know your nephews. You have Pop here
and Navi here, and they watching the game. And you know, Pop,
he critical, Bro, he's like that. Damn Mitchell is terrible,
like he been on them all serious, he said, hey.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
And look by the time.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I responded, he had already pulled up his eight years
of playoff run. He said, Pop, he said, you can't
tell me this dude had been to the playoffs for
eight years. I don't care if he scored forty five points.
And he he said, the last three minutes of the
U I think it was the second game, he said,
the dude turned the ball over three times. He'll go
to God, so he ain't cutting them nose like. And
then Navi was kind of with me on I'm like, bro,
(03:57):
what more you want this man to do? If you
you hit him out, ain't nobody doing nothing? So even
when you try to take him off the ball, and
I think I said this last week, you take him
off the ball, you tell him don't score. They take
a twenty point lead and now they down. You know,
they didn't drop half the lead to ten points, and
so they done picked up some momentum.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
So where does this fall on him?
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Like, I get it as his squad, But what more
you want this man to do?
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Because he's clearly balling.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
What is he averaging thirty five points a game in
the playoffs?
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, I think. I think going into the last night's game,
they say he was outing around forty one point game
in this series.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Yeah so, And I mean, you know he is he
making all the right players all the time. No, But
hey man, you know, I just don't know what else
this man can do if it's supporting cast ain't stepping up.
So I'm kind of torn on it because you know,
them dudes was bought ready to k I said, man,
hey man, the next game coming on?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Ye absolutely, what you guys say about that more money?
Speaker 3 (05:03):
I mean I said it the other night. The thing
about Donovan Mitchell. He's a prolific scorer, all right, So
I had to go back in the NBA history and
think about prolific scores and how many of them have
won championships outside of Michael Jordan and guys like that,
because they're two way players. Right, So when you think
about prolific score, if you think about somebody like Bernard King,
(05:25):
think about somebody like Carmelo Anthony, even.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
Think about Alan Obinson.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Right, what happens with these players is they put a
lot on the offensive end and a lot of times
their defensive liability.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
So you ask me, what more do I want Donovan
Mitchell to do?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I want them to guard up because on the other
side of the other ball, it's four on five a
lot of times. Also, when you're watching the games. I
watched the Utah games because I was a big Donovan
Mitchell fan. I wanted the Nixon draft him. He didn't
know always play within the game sometimes. So the way
that he gets his shots off is good, is great
(06:06):
in the regular season, but in the playoffs, you gotta
get your role players involved. You know, if you look
at the shot chart, sometimes he might take twenty five
thirty shots when you got other players. If he was swing,
swing a little bit more and get them involved early
because he can get his then they would be a
little warmer for him later on. I think that's what
(06:29):
Donovan Mitchell can do as he continues to progress as
a player, understanding that you can get yours at any time,
get everybody else involved and getting the damn gym and
work on sliding.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
Your feet because he couldn't. He can't do that right now.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Oh dog thoughts.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I agree a little bit with coach Coach Milner as
well as money more, money More got some great points
as well.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
But at the end of the day, the basketball game
is five people.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
That's what makes team sports so unique because you're getting
a lot of people with different personalities, different games to
come together collectively and try to win a championship.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
It's not tennis. Okay. So as we.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Look at Donald, as we look at Spider Mitchell's stats,
let's look at Mobley's stats, how he was during the
season to what he did in the playoffs. Let's look
at the other big guy that one time when he
when Spider Mitchell and the other young boy I forgot
his name, they had twenty I think it was they
had fifty shots and it was twenty shots between the
(07:32):
two of them, right, Charles Barkley came on TNT. I
definitely don't agree with everything he said. But one thing
he said in the beginning, even last series, the BIG's
gotta play. So how many how many times were we
supposed to give them the ball right in order for
them to come on and get some points and start
averaging what they averaged in during the regular season. Spider
(07:54):
Mitchell one man, he got it. He put it like this,
money Moe. What if he didn't score the third forty points?
How many points do you think they would lose by?
He ain't got nothing to do with it. He don't
even if he did. Guard that don't got nothing to
do with When Indiana came back that very first game,
right when they was down, when they was down seven,
and they came back within the I don't know how many
(08:16):
seconds it was or whatever the case may be. Everybody
got a guard that's lazy with everybody. Bottom line is
Cavaliers don't know how to win. I'd rather let's say
it ain't about him scoring, It ain't about him doing this.
It's about a leader stepping up and saying, hey, look,
don't say it. When you down three to one with
the boy said well, if you're in one, if you
(08:37):
don't think we can win this, don't.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Show up the word.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
You should have said that after when y'all Look when
y'all got upset, when y'all had game one, don't say
any game four. You know what I'm saying, hold him
accountable after game one, so we don't have to be
in that predicament.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
So I think I think they all, I think they
all need to learn together.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
I'm not gonna blame it on Spider, but obviously, just
like as a quarterback, when you are the franchise player
and you getting two hundred and fifty million dollars, hey,
part of the reason is they let you know, Hey,
we're gonna blame everything on you. We gotta blame it
on somebody. So we're gonna blame it on Spider Mitchell.
So yes, he yes, he can play better defense. The
(09:18):
very first play of the game yesterday, I don't even
know who he was checking. I only think it was Hansborough.
I think it was the guy with the braids, the
younger that went to Gonzaga, light skinned, young and that
could shoot him right. What's his name, Yeah, yeah, Nema
mark So, Nima Marh or whatever. First player the game
(09:40):
went to the rack, easy little layup, Like you said,
money Moe. He ain't slid his feet. I'm like slim,
it's the playoffs. You playing like you playing pickup basketball.
You know what I'm saying, And that can't And I
don't care what it is until he decides the same way.
I sat right here that you can pull it up
Kobe Money, Moe. You know I got on Jason Tatum right,
(10:01):
you gotta play you gotta play defense, and he did
that last year. That's the reason why they won a championship.
So I agree with both points, some of the points
that money More made as well as coach Miller. But
I'm also not gonna sit here and blaming on him
because if he didn't score forty points, do you what
you think Mobley gonna score twenty?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
And then the other big boy?
Speaker 3 (10:21):
So Mobley averaged close to sixteen and a half. In
the regular season, he averaged eighteen point eight. Also, it's
important to notice, right Mobley shot eight of twelve last
night twenty four points double double.
Speaker 7 (10:37):
Oh yeah, man, another five six shots.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
You ain't we gotta score forty What about the games?
What about the games before that?
Speaker 5 (10:44):
And not last night?
Speaker 7 (10:45):
So he missed two of the games game.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
I think it's game one and two he missed with
an injury, okay, and then when he came back for
the other games.
Speaker 7 (10:53):
He gave you eighteen he gave you.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Only played in two games. He only played in two games.
He played, he played in three three gad.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Okay, but he only taken only averaging like thirteen shots.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
A game, the average during the regular season.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
I don't know, I got that's a lot of reasons.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Okay, then that's it. We got to look at both now.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
It is not a lot. It's not a lot.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
One of one of one of the things that they
did say last night, because I kind.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
Of came in on I think the back end of
the game.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Apparently the bigs worst on him, and Allen was having
a great game, and all of a sudden, I think
was his Garland and Donovan started shooting up threes, like
just hoisting threes, and I think it was Donovan, Garland
and Max Strews all were like fifteen fifteen point fifteen.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Shots and they were like, what are y'all doing.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
I think Jalen Rose was like, man, y'all got to
get the ball back in the middle, you know, because
your bigs are have established themselves in this game. So
I do agree that last night's game, they they took
it away from the bigs. But I don't think that's
been the poem the whole series. But last night most
definitely shot themselves on because then you know what the
(12:09):
halftime three?
Speaker 5 (12:12):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
You know what the problem is, money moow cold coach,
Uncle Milton, you know what the problem is? What's that
who's been Donovan's o G in the NBA? When he
was at Utah, who's his who's been his OG? Who
showed him how to win? In the in the in
the NBA, somebody might have showed him how to be
(12:33):
a pro. Who showed him how to win? He went
to fucking Utah, who showed him Hey, Slim, hey man, now,
ain't none of that playoff time?
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Hey hey we got to go do this?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Hey, this is this is what this is what was
required of you?
Speaker 5 (12:52):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Sometimes when I when when I you know, when I
moved around and played in different places, when I went
to different organizations, it was a OG that was at
some of those places that sort of taught me, hey,
oh nah, ain't none now, ain't no going out this.
We don't go out doing the playoffs, buddy, Nah, ain't
none of that. Hey, oh we're doing extra film. Ain't
(13:14):
no getting out of here at the practice. What I'm
saying is who's taught him how to do that? You
know what I'm saying. Sometimes we don't they coming to
the league, they balling, they doing their thing.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
But the value of.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Having an og in somebody teaching you how to win, right,
holding him accountable? Hey, don who called it?
Speaker 5 (13:33):
Donovan? Though?
Speaker 3 (13:34):
When he ever been called out besides shot yeah and ye?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
In terms of calling out your star player, that's where
the that's where your coach have to step at. You
know what I'm saying. When win, the coach going to
hold the star player accountable, just like he hold everybody
else accountable, just.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Like just like like the coach did from Minnesota the
other night when he got on about Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
In turn, in terms of Donovan Mitchell, I think he's
a great, great player. I don't think he has a
high basketball IQ like all of you said. I just
don't think he I think he plays a great brand
of basketball, but I don't think he plays a winning
brand of basketball. Like I don't think he makes his
teammates better. I don't think he knows how to read
(14:21):
the game. You guys mentioned that Mobley was shooting about
eighty percent from the field. Donovan Mitchell, No, he's probably
seventy sixty percent because he's nursing that ankle injury. He
want to keep pumping up threes. He missed his first
eight nine threes before he made his first one, and
he ain't make his first three until like late in
(14:43):
the second half. You know. So you see somebody got
it going on in the inside and then even himself,
he's doing well getting into the teeth of the defense,
getting to the realm and getting fouled, getting to the
free throw line. Stay with that formula, you know what
I'm saying. On offense, it's a place where you think
you need a break. Go inside the Mobili, play off
(15:04):
of Mobley. You know what I'm saying. It's just certain ways.
It's just certain things you can do to make your
team better as a whole. And that's the and that's
your star player on the court with the ball in
their hand. That's that's not the coach right there, that's
the star playing with the ball in his hand. You
know what I'm saying. And yesterday the coach made it
one huge mistake because we saw game one, two and
(15:26):
maybe even three, and I think coach you and now
we both said that, uh, they gave Jerome a little
bit too much of a too much of a greenlight, right,
he was so much where you forgot all about Mobili
and then strews they're not getting their touches and Jerome
just pumped it up. But at the same time, he's
(15:49):
been one of your aggressive offensive players, somebody who's been
shooting the ball sometimes making them sometimes not. But you
don't play this guy last night until in the third quarter.
That was the first time that we saw Jerroom into
into the game last night, three three two. They went
(16:11):
from a double digit deficit to being right back in
the game to where we didn't know who was going
to win the game at one point. So again the
coach like, what type of decisions are we making from
a coaching aspect, and there from Donovan Mitchell side, like,
come on, bruh, after being in the league for eight
years trialing era, I get it, he didn't have a
(16:33):
OG somebody who taught him how to win, But after
eight years of trial and error, you should have by
by then, you should have learned, you know, learned something,
you know what I mean to in terms of a
winning brand of basketball. And let's not forget this man
went to the University of Littleville and played under Rick Pottino.
You're trying to tell me he didn't come into the
(16:55):
league with with something for Rick Pottino in terms of
winning basketball.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Yeah, it's a difference between winning college basketball and being
a pro.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
So.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
But but it's not.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Well if you think the same thing as being what
John Wall came in as a winning.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
Player from Kentucky, what did he do in the NBA?
Did he win in the playoffs?
Speaker 3 (17:18):
It's a lot of people that win in college that
don't win in the NBA Coade.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
So no, but it's about learning how to win, learning
how to play a winning brand of basketball, like like
like you know, those those fellas that come through like
the University of North Carolina back in the day, they
all learned how to win because they played with winning organizations,
winning programs, coaches that put that you know, put that
(17:43):
battery in their back. Yeah, it may take me a
while to actually win a title in the NBA. You know,
like you said, too, odul it takes five players to win.
But at the same time, you have to be the
leader of that and kind of spread your knowledge and
what you learned over the years as well and let
that trickle down to your teammates. But I do think
(18:05):
we need to hold Donovan Mitchell accountable because he is
one of the great players in the game. He'll be
All NBA. I don't know if he'll be first team
or second team, but one of the two. So he
has to be held accountable, just like we hold all
the other all NBA players accountable. And like you guys said,
they've been number one seed all year. Nobody has even
been close to beating them in the East. And to
(18:28):
go like that, and to see the brand of basketball
they was playing, to go out like that, you know,
these conversations need to be had.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
And one other point I want to make, fellas, So
I think organizations and peers speak to your value in
the league.
Speaker 6 (18:43):
Right.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
So, the New York Knicks in that same summer had
a chance to go sign Jalen Brunson or trade for
Donovan Mitchell, And one of the things that the executive
said in New York was that Jalen Brunson was a
winning player. Although Donovan Mitchell may sell seats and put
people in the stands. They felt like Jalen Brunston was
(19:05):
a known winner who can enhance not only the franchise
but the players around.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah, and more money. Where did jaylen brest and learn
to win?
Speaker 7 (19:14):
From Man's Villano Villin?
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Every for every winning program, every player you named, we
all can name a player that went to a winning
program that was Come on Man, North Carolina.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
We got you talking about North Carolina and ship.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Nobody want to go North Carolina because you got people
on the on on Gilbert Arena show. Who bona five snitches?
Do I gotta say his name from North Carolina? Did
they teach him that they.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Come on Man? Next time out of here?
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Bro always got a bad apple? Brush got a bad apple.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
You can't. I don't want to hear that ship. I'll
talk about it. Can't believe.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Hey, we don't need to bring it's a lot of
It's a lot of idiot.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
It's a lot of idiot. It's a lot of people
that go to winning It's a lot of people that
go the winning teams. Oh that don't win. That's all
I'm saying. It does not transition a.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Good player in the league.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
It is.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
It does not transition to being a win is. It
does not transition to winning in the NBA. That's all
I'm saying. In that case, Well, why Christian Lahner didn't win?
Speaker 2 (20:29):
You might not win a champions win brand of basketball
is different from okay, So why do play only one
team is going to win a chro You gotta win, man,
you gotta win.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
You like you said, I'm repeating what you said. You
said it translates to the NBA, and I'm telling you.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
The winning brand of bad. He doesn't play a winning
brand of basketball.
Speaker 8 (20:53):
I know.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
But you said the organ you said the program. You
said the program. So my my question to you is
learning from the But you got guys in the that
go to winning programs and know they don't win in
the NBA.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
They don't come close you win, don't win what you
mean by don't win in the playoffs?
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Now it doesn't count if you're you got guys that
you got guys that got franchises, ion winning Zion' went
to do.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Zay ain't not fucking available. But when he's on a cord,
he plays winning basketball, And my wrong one, am I right?
When he's on the court, he plays winning basketball.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Yeah, okay, you're right, let's start.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
We're talking about the brand of basketball and not holding
up the trophy at the end, are you doing what
you can do to make your team better maximize that
team's talent. That's all I'm saying. I don't think Donovan
Mitchell does that. I think he does well for himself individually.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
You'll say that you don't say nothing about no or
no team and no university, and you you're one hundred
percent right when you say it like that, But you're
bringing in the university, university, they don't do nothing else
trying to teach me how to play winning basketball.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
No, just.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Okay, then, okay, well I hear what you're saying. I
got you, all right.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Moving on to to the next playoff series over there
on the East side. So we got the Celtics and
we got the Knicks, all right, the Knicks Knicks three
to one. They're going back to I believe where they're
going back to Boston. Yeah, they're going back to Boston
for for Game five. They're gonna try to close this out.
(22:37):
Of course, Uh, Boston is without Jason Tatum because of
that that that terrible injury. He suffered last game. Let
me get your guys start on. Do you think the
Knicks go ahead and and and close the Celtics out
or do you still give the Celtics a fighting chance
to get back in the series and possibly win it?
Speaker 5 (23:01):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (23:01):
Do you want to go first?
Speaker 4 (23:04):
I was watching New York is tricky for me, man,
because as good as Jalen Bruston has been, Cat is
just playing again stupid brand of basketball. You got Tatum
out with.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
A we went to Kentucky though that's a winning or
that's a winning university. Maybe he should he went to
Kentucky so he should know how to play winning basketball
in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
So when I when I when I was, when I
when were when I was walking through the UH and
I caught the game, it was I think thirty thirty
three to thirty something like that New York winning you
are You're in the first half of the game and
Cat got three files already? How you how you the
main ball play? Like the thing that I don't understand
(23:48):
is like Cat plays, so he could be so dominant,
he's a double double every night, But how you know
Tatum is out y'all in Boston trying to close these
dudes out, and it ain't like Boston can't win without Tatum
one game.
Speaker 6 (24:02):
Come on, man, like, what are we doing this?
Speaker 4 (24:03):
So you're gonna you're gonna mess around and continue to
put pressure on your point guard who was injured. Y'all
both playing crazy minutes and you can't stay on the
floor to help extend the lead. So y'all don't have
to fight. It ain't like Boston gonna lay down they
at home. So for me, that's the only thing that
(24:24):
that scares me, well, not scares me, just kind of
puts me on the fence because they do not play
well at home. Even if Tatum doesn't go down in
this game, I don't think they win this last game
because they were already starting to lose the lead when
Tatum got hurt because he went for a steal and
you've seen it.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
As soon as he playing at their foot, it was gone.
I was like, that's the Achilles. He's out of here.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
But New York does not play smart basketball to me,
and its cat like it's always cat because he gets
some fiul trouble for no reason. Likes his first half
of he said it agame, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
No I say it for years he's been getting a fire.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
So so that's the only thing I think that it's sad.
You know, heart heart goes out to Tatum. Hope he
hills well soon because the dude, you know, after he
was done dirty in the Olympics, the cat, the kid
has shown that he can be someone that you can
depend on. I always kind of throw my hat at
like I can't trust him, but again, he showed that
last year and he, like O was saying, he played defense.
Speaker 6 (25:22):
He's been playing both sides well.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
He's been there, hands down their best player all season
and to see him go down like that, it's sad.
Speaker 6 (25:30):
But for New York Man.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Like they gotta they gotta put away because them Cats
go back home Boston and beat them one game like
they ain't nothing sealed with this and so for them
not to be playing seriously, just it makes me scratch
my head sometimes.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Yeah, I think coach said it best, Karl Anthony times
on watching the game. The fouler, that's silly, and he
does it every game. It's a silly file. He gets
in a foul trouble. But to your point, Coach, not
only is it him getting in foul trouble, it's back
up shot nine of thirty three from the free throw line,
and they continuing.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
To hack them.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
So if you know that you got to stay out
of File Truph, you gotta stay out of file trouble
because while Mitchell Robinson can give you valuable minutes, they're
literally just filing this dude and slowing the game down.
So it's off set in the fact that Boston just
keeps shooting up at least twenty five threes a game.
Whether they make them miss them, they gonna shoot him.
(26:26):
And that was to Kobe's point. He said that on
the onset of the series, I thought that Boston was
going on sweeps the personal and Kobe was right. Boston
will shoot themselves out of any series because they played
with their food in Game one and two, shooting too
many threes, and now they're in a situation where they
one game away from going home. My last point is
(26:49):
Indiana's already closed out. I'm old schooling and thinking that
if a team that you're playing is already at home resting,
then you need to get at home with them. So
hopefully New York I can get it done tonight.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, old dog, what's your thoughts? On that Celtics next series.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
Okay, oh oh me, my bad?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Yeah, what's your thoughts on that?
Speaker 5 (27:17):
Bad?
Speaker 3 (27:18):
I was studying my program. Is I just I just
wanted to I hope the next win. I'm simple with
I hope the next win. I want to see somebody else,
So I hope the next win. Rooting for the young
boy Fronz and I love I love the young Uh
you know, I hope I hope they win. Yeah, that's it.
(27:39):
I just want to see the niggas. I want to
see a different NBA champion this year.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah, yeah, I'm the same. I just think I think
we talked about it before. I thought that, you know,
the Celtics overall is the most talented team out of
the two. I don't like the way they play basketball.
Don't like their style of basketball. They just they pump
up a lot of threes and if they if they
(28:07):
got it going, they're gonna blow you out the water.
If they're missing, the other team could blow you out.
Or the Celtis could be up twenty during the same
game and get cold in a quarter, a quarter and
a half, and now you got a h a back
and forth game. And I just I just think you.
I just think you shooting dice. Playing that way, I
(28:29):
think you're playing a risky brand of basketball. I never
liked it, even though they won the championship last year,
and you know, you salute them for winning, but even
last year they kind of got they kind of got
that Kawhi Leonard treatment where they path to the to
the title was was of least resistance, if you ask me,
I think this year they playing against some teams where
(28:52):
everybody's fully loaded, everybody's healthy, and I just think the
Knicks is a tougher team to coach. His points sometimes
call Anthony Towns don't don't play smart, But what he does,
he plays hard, he plays physical, He's unstoppable on the block,
and he can step out and shoot the three. And
(29:13):
he's a wonderful compliment to Jalen Brunson, who's a bona
fide superstar. Then he got his two sidekicks from Hillanova,
you know what I mean. That knows him like the
back of their hands. And they compliment each other well too.
They do all the dirty work, all the defensive plays,
make open shots when they have to finish on the
(29:36):
break when they have to. I just and then I
like I like that coach that coaches has always coached toughness,
has always coached defense, And I just think you just
see that identity with that whole New York Knates squad.
And that's why I would like to see a team.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
Like why ain't nobody talk about Brown?
Speaker 6 (29:56):
Who? Who?
Speaker 5 (30:01):
I said, why not?
Speaker 3 (30:02):
We don't have four people, We had three people in
here talk about it. Ain't nobody say nothing about Brown?
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Yeah? Yeah, I mean, you know, yeah, let's talk about it.
So so on the Celtic side, you know, Tatum your
best player. You got some great role players. They are
just three point shooters, you know what I mean? Brown?
You know, Brown is Brown. He's a complimentary player to Tator.
(30:34):
I like that he plays more aggressive than the rest
of him. He at least can get the mid range
into the basket. But I don't like that he still
hasn't gotten that left hand right. You know, you make
him put the ball on the floor going left. You know,
he looks average at best, but Brown. But I think
(30:55):
when they played the.
Speaker 8 (30:56):
Night right right here, co That's I said, tonight is
when we're really going to see Brown's value.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Now you're the guy, You're the number one option, the
ball is in your hand. Now, now let's see what
you can do Brown, and then we can talk about
let's see what Brown really about.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Yeah, we just so.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
He just had a little conversation with the younger from
from the crib from Maryland.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
What's his name?
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Heart. Yeah, they had a little you know, a little
running pool or whatever. But one thing you just said
about what we all said, what Jayden Bronson did, Heart
got into it with Brown. The first thing that Bronson
did was got hard to open jump shot.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
And he knocked it down. Just now. See it's that
type of it's that type of ship. You know. I don't.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
I don't and I'm know I keep talking about this
uh brand of basketball.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
And that's what I'm saying. Cole.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
We was taught you. We was taught that at the
Boys and Girls Club. We was taught by by good coaches.
I was taught at at White Oak apartment complex by
a young boy named Push that was a left handed
we was doing this thing, you know, other other things right,
but he was a.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
Vicious point guard.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Like, that's where So
that's what I mean by it don't matter whether or
not you because I'm pretty sure somebody obviously Mitchell has some,
but you gotta have it from a person that you respect,
that has done it in the NBA. It don't matter
if you just getting buckets but you ain't one nothing.
I mean, you telling me to show up. I'm like,
(32:35):
I'm not listening to you.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
You know what I'm saying, Like.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
You not yeah, you you got some, oh you of that,
but you you trans So my point is, like you
all everybody on here was one hundred percent right when
they talked about Bruns.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
You know what I'm saying, Like Slim, Really, it's certain
people that really know the game.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Like you said, if it's a big if it's a
big man high, why would you come down?
Speaker 5 (32:59):
You know?
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Other day I was watching I don't know if it
was Bronson, but it was. It might have been the
Celtics or it was some NBA almost have started to say,
let's have an immediate group called man came down on.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
The on the on the on the.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Fast break, one on four and went to the corn and.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Shot at three. I said, I said, I'm out of here.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
I'm not watching this ship.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
It's not because it's not a game of basketball until
it gets to the playoffs. That I know, you know
what I'm saying. I don't know that that you know,
I don't. I don't know what a two way player is.
Two way player to me is somebody to play offensive
defense in football. I don't know what a player is. Yes,
the difference.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
The reason that I don't mention Brown is I like
White more than like Brown when it comes to this team.
I think White is a more important player to the
team overall. I know they say that Man, Superman, Batman, Batman.
Speaker 6 (34:02):
But when I watched Brown play, is he talented? The hell?
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Yeah, he can do anything he want to do. I
just don't. I don't like his game with right Like
I said right now, I don't. I don't fear Brown.
I'm looking out more for White than anybody because he's
the difference make on the team. I think, regardless who's
on the floor with him, he's just now is he
the number one guy?
Speaker 6 (34:24):
No?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
But you hey, put Brown on Cleveland. Put Brown on Cleveland.
Do they do the same thing.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
With Donovan Mitchell?
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Put put Brown on Cleveland where Brown is the number
one guy in Cleveland.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Do you think they do the same thing?
Speaker 6 (34:41):
Nah, I don't know. I would have to see it.
Speaker 5 (34:44):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (34:44):
I don't see Brown as a number one guy.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
I just don't.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
I would That's what I That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
I would love to see Brown as a number one
with the current.
Speaker 5 (34:53):
He wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
You wouldn't should have pulled the trigger. What was it
two three years ago when they in contract negotiations and
they was trying to determine whether or not they was
going to split those two up. I wish they would
have just went on and split those two up. Let
Brown go somewhere and be a number one option on
one of those teams that needed a really good player,
and then we could have got a true evaluation of
(35:17):
what Brown is. But the coach Milton Park you know
who else thought that White was better than Brown? Team USA, Hey,
when they when they when they sent who they sent home, Kawhile,
when they sent Kawhile Leonard home and they needed another
wing player, everybody thought that Brown was the natural selection
(35:38):
for a team USA to go with. Instead, they went
with somebody on his own team.
Speaker 6 (35:43):
That was crazy. I forgot he was.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Yeah, they went with White.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
He got more, White got more minis and Jason what
you talking about?
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Yeah, but I forgot Brown wasn't even on the team.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Right, and they because they picked White.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
Hey what school White? Want you money, Moe?
Speaker 3 (36:06):
They probably got a good winning program and know how
to win in that organization.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
That's what I'm thinking too. They had to be it
had to be bro Hey, hey, oh no, now you're
getting it, brother, That's what I'm talking.
Speaker 7 (36:21):
You went to the university. He went to the University
of San Antonio.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
Three years there you go, there you go, man, there
you go. Y'all. Wow, y'all, wow, man, y'all, wow, y'all. Hey.
Matter of fact, I'm out of.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Here, guys, taking it over to the West coast. Man.
So last night, another great game between the Nuggets and
the Oklahoma City Thunder. Of course, Oklahoma City Thunder is
the number one and there are a lot of people
favorites to go to the finals and maybe even win
(37:05):
the NBA title. I was one of those folks that
that My my prediction was whoever came out the Denver
Clippers series will upset. Okay. See, so I'm a stand
by that. But after watching these games, you know, and
all the games being competitive, all of them has come
down to the wire for the most part. I just
(37:26):
don't think that that that Denver can can beat them
this series, just just because I think from an execution standpoint,
Oklahoma City executes better in late game situations. I think
they know where the ball should be, and I think
the role players know where they should be and and
(37:48):
they're ready to make plays when when they called the
punt and then. But the most important aspect out of
all of this, why Denver can't win this series even
though I think they should, it's because of the firing
of their coach. Right now, we're seeing the difference of coaching.
If Malone was still the Denver Nuggets coach right now today,
(38:11):
there's no way they would have lost those two games
when they're double figures in the fourth quarter and they
started to turn the ball over, a lack of execution,
all that that wouldn't have happened on a Malone team.
So now we're seeing the effects of the Malone firing
in this Denver. Okay, se serious, what's what's your thoughts
on that coach?
Speaker 4 (38:33):
I think I think you're right about that because when
you see the coach that's there with he the interim coach,
he ain't doing that.
Speaker 6 (38:39):
He don't even look like he belonged there. Well, every
time you see his face, he's just sitting there like
what is going on?
Speaker 5 (38:44):
Like I am I believe.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
I mean again, you you never heard of assistant coaches,
but but but.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
Oh, even as an assistant, you gotta have some idea
of what's happening.
Speaker 6 (38:59):
That dude look like he's just standing there, like what
is happening?
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Like when every time they show him, like half the
time they show him, I'm like, who the hell is
this cat? He looked young as hell for one, and
then you can tell yo Ki just telling everybody what
that dude just standing there waiting for the game to
be over like and he and I think he's trying
to hide from the camera because you can tell he
has no clue what's happening out there. So for me,
(39:24):
you know, but I think I think the the most
critical part to this thing, man is Porter Junior. He's
another man. He's not showing up, like how does how
this cat? I know when he came out of college
he had the issue with the back, but I think
he's he's been in the league long enough now and
he's proven that he can play, but he just ain't
(39:45):
showed up. I think what's Gordon has been the one
that's been really, you know, playing out of his mind
and doing everything he can.
Speaker 6 (39:53):
I know he's.
Speaker 4 (39:54):
Dedicated the season to his little brother past and all
that stuff. But I just can't figure out Porter man,
Like what why does this dude not play consistent enough
to help these dudes win? And then sometimes Jamal Murray
disappears on them, like I questioned him sometimes, but it's
clear that Joki is coaching his team. Joker is coaching
this team, and they're doing well. But the one thing
(40:16):
that we all know, that team wins his stay and
Oklahoma City is growing up before our ours. Man, Because
at one point, at the first couple of games they
were they were talking about.
Speaker 6 (40:29):
What's the second calin that team? This Jalen? What's his name? Jayden?
Speaker 4 (40:35):
They got two of them if I can't figure the
names right now, But he was missing. He wasn't shooting well.
But because the others played so well, you didn't really
miss that, right because they they they're playing not just
to start in five, I think they go ten deep
on that bench. You got dord that comes off the
bench that gives them good games.
Speaker 6 (40:52):
Who is it? Wiggins? Is it Wiggins that.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
Comes off and does some stuff for him every down there?
So all these guys are not on playing their roles.
They're flourishing in their roles. And you can't beat a
team like that. I don't care who you are, because
at any given time, you got a cat that shows
up and give you twenty five out of nowhere. And
you know, you know what Shay gonna do. You know,
(41:15):
sha Shaye is okay with stepping back, getting these guys
involved and going to Hart and Stein.
Speaker 6 (41:20):
And to check. And then you got somebody in that
dork comes off and he's hitting.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
They keep feeding them and when he missed whistle, let's
get him out of here. He gave us five minutes
and that's all we need. We're not gonna keep a man.
Speaker 6 (41:35):
Like they do with Tad Jerome, Like, come on, man,
the dude did his job. Get him off.
Speaker 4 (41:40):
And because what you don't want to do is now
he evens out, why bring him in if he gonna
give you twenty, but he gonna give the team the
other team fifteen points because he's turning the ball over now,
playing out of his mind. You know, it's not his role.
So I think not only if they're growing up. The
coach is a good coach, and he keeps them in
the right situation and he lets them play within the
(42:01):
system together and they and they all love it like that.
You can tell they play for each other. They're a
true team. So yeah, I think they just gonna be
tough to beat.
Speaker 6 (42:09):
Man.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Yeah, I agree. I think all of their players are
stars in their role. I think I think they all
maximize whatever their role is. Like you mentioned dork coach, Like,
if it wasn't for him, Denver would have walked away
with that game. But he hit those three straight threes
but in the third fourth quarter something like that and
brought that game right back. And then you can't one
(42:31):
name that we haven't mentioned. We can't forget about him
as Alex Caruso. He's a he's a one hundred percent
of X factor for the Oklahoma City Thunder. And I
know we've been saying this all show long, but he
plays a winning brand of basketball.
Speaker 6 (42:44):
And that's your OJ that was talking about because he'd.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Have been there. You know, he did been there, he
played under Lebron, he won a championship, you know.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
So yeah, I mean, y'all made some great points but
I'm gonna be honest with you. I think, just like Milwaukee,
just like La, one trade or one player personnel moves away.
Speaker 7 (43:06):
Can mess up with dynasty or mess up a championship run.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
A few years ago, Denver had a chance to not
sign Michael Porter Jr.
Speaker 7 (43:14):
And re sign out of Contavis.
Speaker 5 (43:17):
Called with Pope.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Also we go green and continue to surround Joker with
the type of complimentary players. There we go, and you
got him so that the series before it started, and
then you fire your coach. You made the bad player
personnel moves, and then you blame the coach. You gave
him less ingredients to cook with, and then.
Speaker 7 (43:38):
You fired them. So this this series that my opinion,
was over.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Before it started one hundred. I thought that was big
when they let Pope go. He did so much dirty
work for the team. And then they have another player
though that was on there too with Pope.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Yeah yeah, Bruce Brown, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
Yeah, that's my lord. What I wonder what program he
went to?
Speaker 2 (44:07):
Remember he signed a big contract. He went awhile East right.
Speaker 5 (44:10):
Yeah, he went somewhere Toronto. He went in Toronto.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Yeah, I just I just love love how he played
in Carwell, you make one hundred percent that that is
the one thousand percent money more.
Speaker 5 (44:25):
It's nothing else to be said after.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
That, because I personally feel like you could, instead of
what you gave the boy Jr. Let him go split
that bread down the middle, give half the Pope and
half the what you came. They would have probably been like, man,
I take this deal because but I think what Denver
was offering him was a slap in the face, especially
after what they did to help that team win that year.
(44:49):
Man they was balling Man especially called well Pope man.
He fit perfect with that team. Yes, he fit perfect
with that team, enforcemble.
Speaker 5 (45:00):
But also.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
My one thing that I was getting ready to say too, fella,
is sometimes you I mean, it's not like they're getting
blown out. They still the game. They joker having forty
you know, Mary doing it. They sometimes you're just playing
a team that's a little bit better than you or they.
You know, that's the reason why we have the series.
So I personally feel like it's been a great series.
(45:24):
To me, I feel like this has been a that's
because last night, if you watch that game from start
to finish, that was some good basketball, man, that was
some good basketball and and a lot of players made
some plays I think also will help. I mean, what
with Denver Where Denver got hurt a couple of times
is and I'm not getting on them because he went
(45:45):
to a big time school that has a winning tradition
U C. L. A.
Speaker 5 (45:51):
Russell, Right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (45:54):
He missed a couple like threes that he was he
had been knocking down for him, you know, earlier in
the series in the corner, and he missed a couple
of big time corner threes that I thought would have
maybe helped change the direction of the game. But that
was a good game last night, So I don't.
Speaker 5 (46:11):
I feel like.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
It's just you're watching a young team grow up in
front of our eyes, and the only way they can
do it is they got to beat a veteran team
or whatever, the same way Chicago had to beat the
Detroit the same way Detroit had to be Boston. So
I love it, man, I love it. It's some good
basketball man player.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
Yeah. Uh, moving on to that Minnesota Golden State series.
Did Minnesota close it out tonight or can I go first?
I first, Yes, sir.
Speaker 5 (46:45):
Yeah, So that's it. I ain't even waste a whole
bun Oh, So.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
So what you think coach Milton is over?
Speaker 5 (46:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (46:54):
I think I think it's over because everybody waiting for
playoffs Jimmy to come come through, and he had I
think he hadn't done it everything.
Speaker 6 (47:00):
He's gonna do for this squad.
Speaker 4 (47:02):
Yeah, yeah, he have another like for for four point
four three pointers or something like that. I think they
done with Yeah, yeah, because you got you got people
playing all of their positions.
Speaker 6 (47:16):
You know, I'm not worried about Buddy Hill.
Speaker 4 (47:19):
Buddy Hill is not Steph Curry, I'm not I'm not
concerned about Jimmy Butler. You know, it's just Curry is
a difference maker. He's you can't replace him because you
you don't have the same type of respect. And you again,
you're dealing with a young team in Minnesota that's growing
up in front of.
Speaker 6 (47:36):
Our eyes and ant Man ain't taking like that. Dude
ain't playing.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
He closing up and going on and getting ready for
you know, to do So, yeah, it's over with.
Speaker 7 (47:46):
No money, I mean it's it's over.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
I mean when you have a unique squad in Golden State,
that's their offensive identity is solely built around Steph Kirk. Yeah,
whenever he went out. It's it's a rap. I mean,
it's like Banna. Back in the day when they had
Reggie Miller, everything was geared around Reggie Miller. Everything, all
the action, all the splits, they all came off of
Regi Miller, and if he was gone, they were done.
(48:12):
It's the same thing with Golden State. So that's why,
that's why when Paul George came, Regi Miller was like
you know, when he came into the league, you know
what I mean, he was like, hold up, slip changing
out the guards, bro.
Speaker 5 (48:24):
That man.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
Paul George was a monster back of Yeah, he was great.
What before that knee injury?
Speaker 6 (48:30):
Great before that knee injury?
Speaker 5 (48:31):
Yeah, go ahead, cop.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
No, no, I agree with all you guys. I think
the series over. I didn't think gold to Stay had
a chance to win the series anyway, even even prior
to the series starting. I thought that uh Minnesota would
win the series uh in six, four to two. And
you know, without carry I just think they dead in
the water. Jimmy Butler, like Coach Milton said, he gave
(48:57):
you what he can give you. I mean, you got
to salute him because you hadn't even got to this
position without Jimmy Butler. Prior to them making a move
to getting Jimmy Butler on the team, Golden State wouldn't
even been in the playoffs, you know what I'm saying.
So for them to get to this spot and competing
in the semifinals in the Western Conference playoffs, you know,
(49:19):
you gotta salute Jimmy Butler for what he brought. But
I think he just got You know, he's at the
end of the road now. He I done gave you
all that I can get. You know what I'm saying,
I can't give you no more and that. But you
know what I don't like about the conversation surrounding this series.
For everybody trying to make Drakemond Green into a focused
point of this playoffs, say like, Drakemond Green has been
(49:45):
a role player from day one, even though he's been
a great role player, a role player that played his
role so well that he's made an All Star team.
I think he's made thirteen All NBA before. And then
we know what he does defensively. But you hear all
these sports shows and you hear them talking like, yeah,
now we're going to see what Draymond Green is made
of and see if he can win without Steph carry
(50:07):
while we talking about Draymond Green with this type of
energy like Draymond.
Speaker 5 (50:12):
Green, I can help you with that very simple.
Speaker 3 (50:18):
The only reason he should be a topic when it
comes to something that serious or stuff like that is
because we're gonna try to get him and foul trouble
and try to get him two three technicals so he
can help us win.
Speaker 5 (50:29):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Get understand, get under the skin, get them upset. Let
him get a couple of technicals, especially at key moments
were good to go. Ain't nobody, We ain't wasting our
time talking about him? Man, next topic, next time, before and.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Before we move out of basketball discussions, I just want
to hear from all of you guys. You know now
that we know about Jason Tatum, he ruptured his his achilles. Well,
what does this mean for the Celtics organization moving forward?
That's the It's just just a short term effect or
(51:02):
is this going to have a long term effect on
that organization? Uh? More money? Wy, don't you starts off?
Speaker 7 (51:10):
Man? Achilles is tough even with modern medicine. You just
don't know.
Speaker 3 (51:15):
In my heart of hearts, I still don't know if
Kevin Durant fully recovered from his Achilles.
Speaker 5 (51:21):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
I still don't think he's one hundred percent of that
player that he was pre achilles. So it's it's tough
to say what what what Boston will be after this injury.
With Jason Taylor, I know they won't be the same
next year because it takes about a year to fully
recover from an achilles injury, and I hope they don't
rush them back, you understand what I mean, But it'll
(51:42):
be it'll be tough in two years to see what
this injury and how it impacts Jason Tatum and his
athletics going forward.
Speaker 7 (51:49):
So I kinda I hate it.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
I hate it for him, and I also hate it
for the selfish because they're gonna have to make some
tough decisions moving forward.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
Right what you think about that old doll?
Speaker 5 (52:00):
Hm, it's an achilles.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
He had surgery already, he rolling, so next week he'll
probably be on the training table getting back to it.
So it's a part of it. It's a mindset. You
deal with it, you move on. I think is uh
it'll give the opportunity for White to have a major,
major role next year in the beginning of the year.
Speaker 5 (52:22):
That will help them out later on in the year.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Uh, and that's the reason why you gave White that
that good deal. No, he can't be Jason Tatum, but
I feel like he can help out a little bit,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
So, yeah, and I just want to give recognition to
our view as Jimmy Mole. He had a comment a
little earlier. He said, the difference between leaders and good players.
The best college players hit professional. He's a rooky and
less exceptional. Every pro is a it's good or better
(52:57):
than your best college You guys play no grown man,
making bank issues, accepting new rookie running on them uncontested.
Celtics are hurting, Boston born raised, Bleeding Green, losing two
at home and something ain't right. But it ain't over.
Celtics know, no, they don't go all in. Fans are
(53:22):
disappointed too, So all right, thank you for the comment,
Jimmy mo go Celtics. But I think y'all, y'all, y'all
at the end of the road, like boys the men.
Speaker 6 (53:37):
What's what's the score of that game? Run now anyway?
Speaker 7 (53:39):
Eighty one?
Speaker 3 (53:42):
Yeah, but it's in the third I tell you yeah,
but I'll tell you what. I will give credit to
Brown for this. He's stepping up and he's been checking
Bronson a lot the whole time. But my thing is,
why take you to go.
Speaker 6 (53:58):
That's the that's the thing.
Speaker 5 (54:01):
You get one three for you to go check that.
Speaker 3 (54:03):
But you know, even if you gotta fall back on't
I don't understand that.
Speaker 5 (54:08):
I just don't understand that, even if.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
You gotta fall back with your scoring, but it's gonna
it's gonna help on the other end because you're gonna
stop them from scoring so much. Why wouldn't you want
to go check the best guy? And that's one thing
about Anthony Edwards. He went to Georgia. Is that a
winning basketball program?
Speaker 5 (54:28):
He winning? He's winning in the in the in the
in the playoffs, right.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
And and and he he pushing Lebron, checking Lebron almost
ninety four I mean ninety four feet.
Speaker 6 (54:42):
In key moments. Yeah, And that's and that's why I
say years old. But still but don't care.
Speaker 5 (54:50):
That's not his fault. My point is he understands the assignment.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
I don't care if he no, no, no, it was
a dog. And that's all I'm you don't care man,
he the best in the league.
Speaker 5 (55:03):
You don't care, and he gave, and he gave.
Speaker 3 (55:04):
He said it the other night, he said, yeah, I
was terrible my offense lucky, So I try to do
he said, Man, I don't know what coach talking about,
but I try to do what I could on defense.
Speaker 5 (55:14):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
That's what I love that guy. Bro.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Anyway, well that's why coach, when you I mean, oh,
when you you asked why we didn't mention Brown, It's like,
I don't to me if I if I'm on a
team and I got another dude that's supposed to be
better than me, were gonna battle it out every night,
You're gonna have this conversation every night?
Speaker 6 (55:37):
Is it ain't no one a one beat?
Speaker 5 (55:40):
Bro?
Speaker 4 (55:40):
We both can boogie like I'm not gonna you know,
like I said, one night, you might score, but I'm
damn sure gonna step up and play defense.
Speaker 6 (55:47):
And then.
Speaker 4 (55:49):
I just think that White takes that role where he
plays the next best player.
Speaker 6 (55:53):
He'll step in and play defense, and Brown.
Speaker 4 (55:56):
Just kind of settles back and it's like, all right,
I got made my money and I know that I
can but can do it and will do it in
two different things.
Speaker 6 (56:03):
But I just I'm not gonna.
Speaker 3 (56:05):
I'm not I'm not gonna attack Browns character because I
feel like he does play tough, that he has had
good he plays upper, but he just I just don't
understand why he don't do that like you said that
part the beginning, like when you said at the beginning,
every night, yeah, like I played with somebody who was
you know, they used to always compare myself and my man.
(56:27):
I you know what I'm saying, that's my brother. You
know what I'm saying. But at the end of the day,
if he scored, I made it a point that I
scored right away. If he scored too, I scored, and
it was the vice person. If I scored, he would
try to damn sure score right away.
Speaker 5 (56:40):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (56:41):
A lot of times on kickoff return, I could score
the first opening kickofff sh shit.
Speaker 5 (56:48):
I look here, money, Moe, you better get there early.
Speaker 3 (56:51):
I got to score now, see, I gotta let it.
Speaker 5 (56:56):
You know.
Speaker 3 (56:57):
So, if you know, when you have a competitive that
competitives going against with somebody on your own team, that
pushes you to be better, man, that's all you can
ask for. I don't mind if they say I'm number two.
I don't care what y'all say. Y'all ain't gonna hurt
my feelings as long as I know I'm going out
here and I'm going at him every night, and he know,
(57:17):
you know what I'm saying. We hold each other accountable.
That's what it's about. That's one thing I do respect
about Jimmy Butler and the young boy from Bahamas.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Or.
Speaker 3 (57:30):
At least they challenging each other, going back and forth
at each other. They trying, and that's all you can do.
That's all that I respect that, So salute you know
what I mean?
Speaker 2 (57:39):
Yeah, for sure. And man, let's change speeds a little
bit and talk about NFL. You know, the the NFL
schedule is officially out effective eight pm tonight. I don't
know if you guys had a chance to look down
at your phones or anything like that to see to
see the schedule, but I want to know from you guys,
just just you know, glancing through the schedule right now,
(58:02):
out of the eighteen weeks, what are the five games
that kind of jump out to you that you're excited
to see this season? So I start with you, coach Milton.
Have you seen any games that stuck out to you
that that you're looking forward to this NFL season.
Speaker 6 (58:19):
I really haven't looked at the overall schedule.
Speaker 4 (58:22):
I did look at the I just peaked at the
Cowboys schedule. I know they're gonna be owing to you
know they got they got the Eagles first.
Speaker 6 (58:30):
Money.
Speaker 4 (58:31):
You guess I'm a divorced divorced mo you you you
agree with they at the gates with the Eagles and
Kansas City is their second game?
Speaker 7 (58:48):
No, we got the Giants second. Thanksgiving.
Speaker 6 (58:52):
Oh, I must have looked at the schedule on things
for correctly. I just seen, for some reason, the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
I must have seen the last part of the schedule
because I seen the Eagles and kas say, I'm like,
good lord, a.
Speaker 2 (59:03):
Coach, you're not that far off one and one on
to you know.
Speaker 7 (59:06):
Just one game. It's a big It's a big difference
between two and one and.
Speaker 4 (59:15):
My bad over that open the game, Dallas Eagles.
Speaker 2 (59:22):
I know you're looking forward to it.
Speaker 5 (59:23):
Well, not at all.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
I'm tired of this bullshit, Like who make these schedules
every year? We got to come out playing the team
that played in the playoffs. I the goddamn Commanders. They
play the Panthers or somebody. I'm sicking even going back
to when we was playing the Giants, while we always
got to play the defending we need to warm up
to give un James Madison out the gate, you know
(59:49):
what I'm saying, While we always got to play the
defending Super Bowl champion. Man, take it as a side
of respect. The NF season, we got a new goddamn
head coach that ain't never coached before. We got a
new defensive coordinator we're trying to install. Man, we might
(01:00:12):
get embarrassed by the defendive temple.
Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
You said what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
Cowboys ain't sneaking up on nobody.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
You know what I say.
Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
And I don't know why you to all our listeners
and yours, y'all don't want to get money.
Speaker 5 (01:00:24):
Most started on no Cowboys. I don't know why Coach
Mill did that.
Speaker 6 (01:00:27):
Because that's my that's my team too. I'm just I'm
with you.
Speaker 5 (01:00:31):
That's your team. How that's your team? And you ain't
even know the first two games.
Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
You should have got us talking about the Eagles and
the Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
If you.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Was listening, I said, talking about what they gonna play
tell Thanksgiving coach.
Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
That's at least eight or nine. Man, that's week nine.
Many attention to him.
Speaker 6 (01:00:56):
Man, that's what I told you. I can't that's an
abusive relationship. I can't you.
Speaker 4 (01:01:01):
Hey, so you talking about listen man again, my hat's
off to you. By you be dealing with Cincinnati and
they bullshit for the last hold on it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:11):
Brow, come up here and come at my Cincinnati language.
Speaker 5 (01:01:15):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Hey, look, if I had the button, I would have
pressed it. You would have been out of you want.
Speaker 5 (01:01:20):
On that, bro.
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
He can't be up here going at my somebody disrespect
the squad. Come on, man, come on, you gotta hit
it with my hats off to you. Man, I can't
do it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
Man.
Speaker 5 (01:01:32):
You actual games.
Speaker 7 (01:01:33):
I'll give you five games.
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
I'm gonna give you a New York Giants twice, the
New York Jets, the Carolina Panthers, and the Oakland Raders.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
All the games.
Speaker 7 (01:01:43):
We got a chance to get a doub I don't
care about that competitor.
Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
I want to win.
Speaker 7 (01:01:48):
I want all the things, but they got no real
quarterbacks them the five games.
Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
I'm looking for it, but win more money. Man, that's
to man. See you didn't go to a winning brand.
Speaker 5 (01:01:59):
You didn't go on college.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
That I had a winning brand of playing.
Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
Man, I.
Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
Want you would be thinking like that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
Hey, if they was paying me and I was lining up,
maybe y'all would.
Speaker 5 (01:02:16):
But I want to watch a DOUG. I don't want
to see us lose.
Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
So so tell me there's more money, because this is
one of the topics.
Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Do you think that the Dallars Cowboys are in position
the team is ready to make it push to make
it into the at least the playoffs.
Speaker 7 (01:02:32):
Oh yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Okay, so when we talk about you, I do like
y'all know that y'all gonna be in the we having
the one will have the.
Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
First team gigs. Again, I gotta go back to look
at the schedule we will y'all.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Last year seven and nine, when our quarterback I heard
the week five.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
We're gonna be doing the same, repeat numbers next year,
repeat numbers this year.
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
So if you if you know your team is a
playoff contended team, right, more money? Well, when you want
to see them play against these marquee teams, just to
see where y'all at, Just to see if y'all really real.
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Man, that sounds like some ship that players in the
locker room say and coaches say.
Speaker 7 (01:03:11):
As a fan, I want to see Dougs. Hey, I
already know what my team is.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Man. We were we at ten maybe eleven win team.
So some of them games that were playing the Kansas
City Chiefs the Eagles, them games gonna go either way.
I can't take it no more. We've been disappointed my
whole life. I need to see Dougs. Yeah, I don't
want to see no more else.
Speaker 7 (01:03:35):
We jack it up in prime time.
Speaker 6 (01:03:38):
We don't mess around when we play the Jets. Money
who we played?
Speaker 5 (01:03:42):
Gonna mess around and win this game. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Yeah, they're gonna win this game, but they're gonna go
back to New York. It's gonna be over they prolong.
Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
We gotta get back on this call because I'm I'm
damn certain we're gonna lose to the Jets.
Speaker 7 (01:03:56):
Oh no, I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
Wow, you got cold?
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Who you? What about you?
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
The games that I like? Or you're talking about?
Speaker 5 (01:04:06):
Now? What games you like?
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Well? Well, I definitely I want to I'm looking forward
to seeing that, uh that Eagles Dallas game. I just
want to see the new Little Dallas, and I want
to see, you know, Eagles is continuing, you know that
momentum into into this season. I'm looking through the schedule
bad with me for a second. I'm just uh sifting through.
(01:04:30):
Oh and I think, what's this game? What's this week? Week?
Week two? Then the Eagles got the Kansas City Chiefs.
So so I'm looking forward. I'm looking forward to that game. Yeah, definitely.
I'm always looking forward to when my team and old
(01:04:51):
dog team play. Man, it's it's you know, it's it's
a it's always a little war war within the family.
You know what I'm saying. He he disappeared for seventy
two hours, just like when we have his birthday parties.
We party for seventy two hours for a birthday. But
when the Ravens play the Bengles, he just paying for
seventy two hours. So that so, so that's how that's
(01:05:13):
been going. So I'm looking forward to those two games,
you know what I'm saying. I think I think they
always great games. I think that Cincinnati is due to
beat us at some point. But I hope, hope year.
Speaker 7 (01:05:26):
Not the year.
Speaker 6 (01:05:28):
Why you let him get away with that?
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Old like him not lying. I'm speaking facts.
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
He know I speaking.
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Hey look, hey, hey, coach, let me tell your story.
Speaker 6 (01:05:37):
Coach.
Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
We had a prime time game Sunday night, Bengals at
the Ravens, oh With staying at my house for the weekend.
We get food, everything, get excited. Watch the game. Were
sitting there. Game start off. It's not looking good for
those bingles. Look like they about to get Millie Rock
(01:06:02):
right off the bat. He get a fane or a
suspicious phone call. Right, and I need to mention too,
is a is a fucking a damn pour outside. It's
a damn look like it's about to be a hurricane somewhere.
Speaker 5 (01:06:18):
Like tsunami came through that joint.
Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Right, He get a He get a fan of phone call,
sayd hey, cut man, got it's emergency. Man got the man,
you know, he packed this ship up, got in the
car and left in that ring.
Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
Hey, so he've.
Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Had to deal with me talking about this Bengals Ravens
game all day. That that's how you do.
Speaker 5 (01:06:39):
Man. You get a call, you got to go. They
called me for work.
Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Tickets to go see the Bengals Ravens at Ravens Stadium
front row. Ain't nothing in front of us, but the
Bengals players, so that you know that, man declared, he said,
I'm not going.
Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
I had I had a pride engagement. I think I
was speaking to the kids. I had a good I was.
Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
Speaking to the kids. Man, kids come first, But you
got to talk to the kids.
Speaker 5 (01:07:09):
Man. Somebody one of my players needed me or something. Man,
I had to go to help them out.
Speaker 6 (01:07:13):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:07:13):
N I a stuff like that. Shout out to all
my guys. Man, try to help you all out, man
or whatever? Can I say? Can I say?
Speaker 8 (01:07:20):
Man?
Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
Yeah, and I mean it's very seriously. I'm not trying
to be funny.
Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
You said five games, right, yeah, the first five games
our season, that's all. And the reason why I'm being serious,
the reason why I truly mean it because we start
off zero and three or one and four every year, right,
especially the last two three years.
Speaker 5 (01:07:44):
So my thing is I want to see how we
come out the gate. We got everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
He can't.
Speaker 5 (01:07:49):
I ain't really worried about our d line and whatever
case may be.
Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
He good, he does lead he lead the league in sacks,
but he trust me. Somebody who watches the Bengals every day,
don't don't let the numbers fool you, right, but he does.
Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
He is.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
He is a tough player and he does work hard.
So I do give him that, and they should, but
the Bengals don't pay nobody. But anyway, I'm looking forward
to our first five games. I want to see how
we come out the gate. I don't really care about anything,
to be honest with you, I just hope. I just
want us to come out the gate and get them
and see our first five games, and and and I'm
(01:08:26):
looking forward to if I had to say one, I'm
definitely looking forward to the Eagles and the Cowboys. I
think that's gonna be a I think that is a
great game. Once again, it shows you the power of
the Dallas Cowboys. Right, we're talking about businesses, uh, listeners
and viewers. We talk about sports, and yes, that's the
(01:08:46):
that's the that's the genre.
Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
But trust me, it is the business.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Because it's no way possible the Dallas Cowboys should be
playing on opening night of the NFL season after what
they did last year unless you are the Boys. And
no matter what it, no matter what my record is
as the Cowboys, I'm still the big dog.
Speaker 7 (01:09:08):
Could have been the Commanders, It should have been the Commanders,
so they could take.
Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
That, well, it should have been it should have been
the Commanders. It could it could have been a couple
of teams.
Speaker 6 (01:09:17):
Why not.
Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
Yeah, so, but we know it shouldn't have been the Cowboys.
It just goes destroy you the power of the start,
so solut them. So I'm definitely looking forward to that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
That's just me and I think y'all opened up at Cleveland.
Speaker 5 (01:09:34):
You don't need to tell us where we open up.
I know where.
Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
We ain't even viewers and the listeners. I just said
our first five games. Let our listeners and viewers. Half
our listeners and viewers don't even know. They ain't even
Cincinnati Bingers fans anyway, but they want to know.
Speaker 5 (01:09:53):
Though. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Yeah, it's gonna be a good physical answer North game.
That's all I'm saying. You get greatness out there. Man,
Hey look more money. Don't feel bad, man. We opened
up with the Buffalo Bills. Man, see what I'm talking about. Yeah, yeah,
we opened up with the Buffalo Bills. So you know,
(01:10:19):
I mean, look, the season starting off with a bang
man the NFL and not playing.
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
They wanted their dealership. They want to get their coys.
Speaker 5 (01:10:26):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
They putting together some packages that that we're gonna sit
in front of that TV and watch.
Speaker 7 (01:10:32):
That's code.
Speaker 4 (01:10:33):
Salute to y'all for giving that man his money too.
I say, y'all just gave him.
Speaker 5 (01:10:38):
Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
And I wanted to I wanted to kind of just
briefly talk about that what y'all thought some Baltimore Ravens
giving the man. I think it was thirty million two
years yeah, So I mean he definitely deserved it. They was,
you know, he was playing on the discount last year.
So uh yeah, he definitely deserved his money. And I'm
glad the Ravens made good on that, and uh hopefully man,
(01:11:02):
they get over that hump this year. You know.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
That was that was awesome that they because they didn't
have to do that. Man, that goes to show you
in that organization. Man, Baltimore, Hey man, you.
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Overg come on over where Baltimore? Man?
Speaker 5 (01:11:22):
You live? You don't live in Baltimore. You live in Virginia.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
No, I'mtimore. I'm in Owen's Mills right now.
Speaker 5 (01:11:32):
That's what's up. I'm in Cincinnati. Then up, I'm only
the one one person who got a paltry in Cincinnati.
Speaker 3 (01:11:41):
There you go, that flew that joint in out here
cold as I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
Hey look to all our viewers and listeners, please hit
the chats and go to the website and let us
know what games you looking forward to the most this
coming NFL seasons. It looks like it's gonna be another
good one. From Week one to week eighteen. It is
always my most exciting time of the year. Even though
(01:12:12):
I'm I come from a basketball background, I think I
get a little more excited to watch football. So definitely
looking forward to that. So let us know your your
thoughts and we'll talk about it next time. But before
we get out of here, the question of the day
is do we think that the North Carolina Tar Hills
(01:12:36):
football team and university is too invested or too interested
in Bill Belichick's personal life, because it seemed like they're
trying to, you know, control what he does with his
I guess that's his wife, girlfriend, wife girlfriend, So it
looked like they're trying to, I think, to me, overstepping
(01:12:58):
their boundaries a little bit and trying to control how
he interacts with his girlfriend and what she can and
can't say, where she can or can't be so do
you think North Carolina is overstepping in terms of that?
And I start off.
Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
With you more money, I think, so, I mean I
have to get a little deeper into the story. I'll
be honest with you. When it starts dealing with wives
and girlfriends. Sometimes I tune it out because at that
mind my business, you know what I mean, unless it's
something crazy like you may be doper when he put
hisself out there on Fresh Street. Other than that, I
(01:13:32):
think all of that's overstepping about it. It's not some adulter.
Speaker 7 (01:13:36):
It's like activity that's bring or defeaning the university. Then
that's his business. So that's just my thoughts on it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
Yeah, what's your reactions to that? Old dog?
Speaker 5 (01:13:46):
I just my feeling short of the same.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
The only thing is I just think Bill need to
leave her home when he's doing his interviews. I think
a lot sometimes when you know she's interrupting, Uh, you
know a person that has been doing the you know
news and you know analysts and stuff like that, and
she's stopping the whole production saying, hey, he's not answering
those questions or stuff like that in interviews when it's
(01:14:12):
pertaining the university. Now if they're if they're asking a
question about his personal life, you know, then one hundred percent,
you know, but I think Bill should be able to
if you can talk and handle a situation with full
of NFL media for years, then you should be able
to say, hey, the same way you used to be,
like we're moving on the next week. Just say you're
(01:14:33):
moving on to the next question, right, keep that same energy.
That's all I'm saying, you know what I mean. But
North Carolina obviously has a blue blood. They know how
to win, so they know how to win in the
media space too. Then, so I guess they're saying, hey,
let's keep it all positive. But I'm with you, money mode,
it's none of my business, so I just stay out
(01:14:55):
of I don't you know.
Speaker 5 (01:14:56):
I think North Carolina they need to find that.
Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
Hey, if it's it's not pertaining to anything North Carolina,
it's none of our business. But if we book you
this interview and it's up you know, such as such,
and this is something that we set up for you,
then you know it gotta be a you know, you
gotta learn, you know, play that game.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Yeah yeah, Coach Milton, what's your thoughts?
Speaker 6 (01:15:20):
I'm the same.
Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
It's like, that's the man's business, and I think they're
trying to run it consecutively because she's a younger lady,
and with all the stuff that's going on with Shannon
Sharp and all the little craziness.
Speaker 6 (01:15:31):
That's happening, you know, she does kind of get our spoken.
Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
But at the end of the day, her and Bill,
I'm sure has had this conversation about how he wants
her to operate because she ain't doing it unless he's
okay to before they I'm assuming that because, like you said,
this man has a reputation of being very blunt and
very matter of fact when it comes to dealing with
the pros.
Speaker 6 (01:15:55):
So I'm almost.
Speaker 4 (01:15:57):
Certain she ain't got that much power over him where
she now gonna come in his life and disrupt him,
especially when he's making this transition to the college ranks, because.
Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
That's the only difference for him.
Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Sharp though, coach, I ain't mean to interrupt you, but
the only difference between Shannon Sharp and Bill this Bill
girlfriend Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 5 (01:16:15):
That's too totally different.
Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
Bill got her, Bill walking around with her, you know,
holding hands.
Speaker 4 (01:16:21):
Yeah, No, that's what I'm saying. They trying to I
think when they bring it up. It's always trying to
because of the age. But like you said, it's completely difficult.
That's his he ain't hiding her, and he ain't.
Speaker 5 (01:16:32):
He's going on camera and said that is my girlfriend.
Speaker 4 (01:16:34):
This is this is She's the one, and it's been
that way for a while before he got involved with Carolina.
Speaker 6 (01:16:39):
So but yeah, I think they should just you know,
let him handle.
Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
That, and like I said, they just figure out, you know,
when she can and when she can't speak and just
move on.
Speaker 6 (01:16:49):
But it's crazy because.
Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
I think they're you know, you got some people talking
about he ain't gonna.
Speaker 6 (01:16:52):
Make it to the start of the season. He probably.
Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
If you're if you're cutting a check, you gotta you know,
you got a right to say, hey man, this is
this is what it is, you know, you know, and.
Speaker 6 (01:17:07):
He got that crazy contract.
Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
He got a lot of stipulations in his contract too,
so you know, they may be they may be looking
at it like, Okay, do we want to deal with
this going into the season.
Speaker 5 (01:17:17):
Right because I think.
Speaker 3 (01:17:21):
I think after he is supposed to go to his
son or something like that, to his son.
Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree with all you guys.
I mean that's that man's girlfriend, his significant others. You know,
I think at that, You know, when when the situation
is like that, I don't think that your job has
anything to do with that. It's none of their business.
You know, your contractors with that person. As long as
(01:17:45):
that person is in embarrassing the organization, the program and
doing anything illegal, then you know, you know, mind your
damn business. You know what I'm saying. Long as he's
not I mean, I know y'all mentioned Shannon's shop. As
long as he's not doing you know, you know, wild
stuff like that where you know he's embarrassing the program,
or he throwing wild parties in every week he getting
(01:18:07):
two hundred bottles of baby or delivered, then you know
what I'm saying. Didn't leave that man alone. Man, Let
that man live his life, even though he got younger,
even though he got a younger woman. You know what
I'm saying. That that's his lady. You know what I'm saying.
So so what he do is lady is none of
their business.
Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
