That's that's what pissed me off because we was in
the position and go like, what two games get a
two game league because Pittsburgh, thankfully Pittsburgh went to bed too,
and we're still in the first place in the division.
But but we had an opportunity. We played against a
Bengals team that you know, we haven't lost too, and

I don't even I don't think Lamar ever lost to
the Bengals, So I mean, so to play like that,
but it was just it was upsetting. But the two
games before that was awesome games. And then I want
a little bit of money on my alma mater. I
betted some money on my Dayton Flyers. They whooped Georgetown

where they ain't whoop them. They beat them in overtime,
but they yeah, they was beating them by the double
figures the entire game. But then Georgetown made a late
push take it the overtime, and then they you know,
stepped it up after that. So I was I was
pleased all the way around the board, except for my
my boys over there in Baltimore.

They'll make it up to you, they'll make it up

games did y'all? Did you guys enjoy watching? And what
surprises to because it was like an upset week if
you if you really want to be honest about it.
There's some teams that you wasn't expecting to to win
over thanks you know, Thanksgiving through Sunday or Monday or
whatever the case may be. So so what games interest

you guys the most?

I honestly, man, I'm I'm I'm I'm pleasantly surprised with
the Carolina Panthers. How Bryce Young is kind of bounced back.
The team is rallied around him. You know, we got
a young boy, number eighteen. Cocha is from out this way,
so we always watching him play. I think he's their
number two receiver right now. He just came back from

injury and he had a nice little game. But that
whole offense is starting to come around, and Dowble Dowel
is playing well. So Carolina Panthers is doing well. And
then the Bears, man, I'm happy to see them starting.

To pull it together too.

So it's interesting to see the teams that were on
the bottom of starting to flip. So all the divisions
are starting to flip a little bit, with all the
underdog teams, you know, taking the lead. And then shit,
I think, isn't Jacksonville leading there their division right now?

Which is crazy because.

I think there was a lot of questions circling around
Trevor Lawrence, but he's now kind of stepped it up
and ETN is doing well.

So those three.

Teams, man, to me, Jacksonville, Chicago and Carolina Panthers are
the three teams that I'm real you know, pleasantly surprised
to see them, you know, in the positions that they're
in right now.

As far as Thanksgiving games, of course, the Cowboys in
the in the.

In the Chiefs game.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Fifty seven point two million people watched that game, you
know what I'm saying. So it was a good game
it with regardless of the outcome. Of course I'm happy
the Cowboys won, but at the end of the day,
it was it was a magnificent game highlighted by a
lot of Patrick Mahomes plays.

Dak played amazing.

So it was just a good game, a game that
I was disappointed in, no more money, I'm not because
prior to that game, I was telling people that I
didn't think that McDuffie or Washington could check ceed Lamb
or Pickings one on one and if and if that happens,

that just opens up the rest of the playbook. And
as far as mahomes weapons goes, if that game highlighted it,
they're they're only as good as Patrick Mahomes Rice the
rest of the wide receivers that they're not that good.
He just he makes some amazing plays out side of
the pocket, he extends plays. His offensive line is not
that good. So I wasn't surprised. I said it two

shows ago. Our problem was health. You know, now that
we are finally healthy, I think we can compete. I'm
not saying we're a contender, but we won't get dragged
because we're healthy. Not as far as a game that
disappointed me, it was a Pittsburgh Steelers. You have a
prime time game where you're in the prime slot and

you're playing the Buffalo Bills, a contendent team, and you
just didn't show up. You know, I never advocate for
somebody to lose the well, unless you're a Cowboys coach.

But Mike Tomlin got to do a little bit more
than what he's doing in Pittsburgh. They have enough talent
to compete and show up in these games, and they
just not another game. I was a little disappointed in
was was the Baltimore Ravens. I'm like a Shadow Ravens fan,
and I was. I was very pissed off that they
didn't show up and do what they were supposed to

do in that game. I don't want to hear nothing
about Joe Burrow coming back. This is a team that
had one wide receiver. You got one job. Don't let
Jamar Chase go off, and they did. I was very
disappointed in the Baltimore Ravens. Coach said the Chicago Bears.
I agree one hundred percent, although I believe the Eagles
were a little overrated going into that game. But you

As a guy that's from Carolina, a lot of things
go their ways sometimes in these games. You can only
win with luck for so long before that luck run out.
You're seeing that now with the Coats a little bit.
You know, when teams start to figure you out and
they put eight in the box, nine in the box,
and you gotta throw the ball like Daniel Jones and

Bryce Young, then we'll see what he can do. But
right now he's riding, he's riding high, but I don't
think it's sustainable.

That that will be the One thing about Carolina is
they're very inconsistent, but still still pleasantly surprised toss him.

was the number one pick in the drift. But everybody
was trying to write them off. They were trying to

They were talking about he couldn't even you know, start
on the Canadian team. You know, they were, you know,

So for him.

To perform like the way he's been performing, especially when
we just saw this last game, I think he was
fifteen for twenty, threw for over two hundred yards, three touchdowns,
and to win against a very good Rounds.

Team, you know, I salute the young man.

I'm rooting for him because I just think that he
came into a situation where the organization was piss poor,
you know, poor coaching, poor front office, didn't really have
the talent around them. And now that you see some
of that stuff is starting to uh starting to develop

around him. You're starting to see his game pick up.
So you know that just show you you you put
the right pieces around the quarterback, especially quarterback is talented
as him, you'll see you'll see your quarterback flourish.

I was impressed with the Texans and went over the coach.

haven't really been having too much heartburn with the Cowboys

I think I couldn't stand him scoring that one point,
But you know now it's like, you know, it's the look,

A black quarterback, dark Prescott got a root for him.
Just just to to your point in that Ravens Bengals game, though,
I think the defense was holding them down for like
two and a half quarters.

I mean, they did what they supposed to do.

I mean, you can't expect the defense to keep having
to come out there on the field and stop a
poking offense like the Bengals with their best quarterback back.
I know, I don't think Higgins played right, but uh yeah,
he didn't play. But Jamar Chase is just he he different.
I know he was out there, you know pretty much

buy some but he different. Bro, You're not gonna stop
him for four quarters. It was just amount of time.
So the offense. So the offense, you know, needed to
do that part and they didn't. And there's no excuses.
But I was telling somebody maybe I want to I
think it was the Jets game. I was like, yeah,

Sir Lamar, Yeah, Sir Lamar for another game or two,
because he ain't right. If you if you a person
that watched the Ravens and watched Lamar Jackson, watch to
watch the way he play and move and throw the ball. Physically,
he's not right and because of that whatever physical issues
he had, I know it was a hamstring and knee

and ankle or whatever the case. But now I think
it's affected him mentally because now he's pressing, like, you know,
you know, what can I do despite me not being
able to get away from pressure or turn this corner
and go up the field with my legs. So I
just thought some of those games, like the Dolphins and

the Jets, those were good game, good opportunities for them
to sit him down and get them healthy. Cause it's
no need for us to limp into the playoffs and
and get this version of Lamar in the playoffs, or
it's gonna be the same story. So that's that's what
I see from them. The Stealers, they all who we
thought they were, you know, trash.

Uh uh, So I was I was proud of proud
of that loss. And then the Commanders they showed something,
you know what I'm saying. They went out there and
they competed against the Broncos. They they played their ass off.
I was like, damn, this is a good ass game.
Because everybody's like, why the hell they playing the primetime game,
This is about.

But Commanders came to play a lot of people thought
they should have kicked the extra point and and and
you know, kept the game going. But I was like,
why you three in that. You're not playing for nothing,
you know what I mean, You're not going anywhere. You
go for the wins. This is your opportunity. And actually
the receiver was wide open. If the balls one more

step to the left, to the right or if he
had a throw, that would have been a touchdown.

They and uh the coaches calling the plays. Now you're
starting to see some of the coaches taking over some
of the play calling duties from these offensive coordinators. But
you could see that they game plan for Mariota to

be successful. And then scary Terry came back and just
showed how valuable he is to their franchise. So I
was glad to see him come back and you know,
you know, just show his presence out there. So definitely
definitely glad to see them do whatever. Even though I'm
not a fan of this I'm a I'm a scary
Terry fan.

But what do you guys think about I know, I
know everybody's up at arms about Tomlin. What do y'all
think of about Big Bend speaking on it when he'd
the damn main reason at the end, the damn hole

don't disagree with what's being said about Tomlin, But some
of the when Big Ben speaks, I'm like, why are
you talking when you were the one that basically held

him hostage, you know, for those extra couple of years
because you were trying to win a Super Bowl and
then when you did get a good quarterback in there,
you you powdered like a baby and held an organization hostage,
you know, not to really move forward with that guy.
So now you're sitting here, Talmar Tomlin needs to go.
Where you guys feel about some of the comments he's made,

the Steelers. Man, you have enough requisite talent on offense
and defense to compete. So now it is a Mike
Tomlin problem. Before I don't think any of the alumni

said anything about Mike Thomlins, but I mean, they have
enough talent to compete in some of these games.

looked like the players not paying attention to what he's saying. Also,

Mike Tomlin is one of those guys that has a
pulse on the organization right, meaning some of these player
personnel moves that didn't work out, that's Mike Thomlin's fault.

When you trade George Pickens, when you bring in Darius Slay,
when you start doing some of those things that gotta
fall on Mike Thomlins.

And it's that like one of the hotest paid defenses
that they brought in that they have right now in
the league, number two.
