The Association of Fundraising Professionals, California Capital Chapter and The Sacramento Region Community Foundation have joined teams to create a powerful day of philanthropy recognition, awareness and connection on September 15th. Kelly Siefkin, Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation joins me to explain what the day will look like and why it's so important for our community to participate. She'll share the fusion of three significant events: National Philanthropy Day, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation's Philanthropy Summit and the Celebration of Generosity. Discover how these gatherings honor exceptional individuals and organizations, such as Outstanding Changemakers Karen and Colin Grahl , and the Outstanding Corporation, Raley's Family of Fine Stores.
Kelly also uncovers the exciting opportunities the Philanthropy Summit offers, with engaging education sessions and thought-provoking keynote speeches. Katie McCleary, keynote speaker, will present "Because If Dinosaurs can Fly, So Can We" promising to leave attendees with fresh perspectives and inspiration. Hear firsthand accounts of the previous year's summit and the value it brought to attendees through engaging conversations and invaluable networking opportunities. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and grow with fellow philanthropists, non profit leaders and community businesses—early bird tickets for the summit's educational sessions are still available thru July 31st.
