What happens when two craft beer enthusiasts venture beyond their comfort zone and dive into the world of summer shandies? Pure, unexpected delight.

The Northwoods Beer Guy and Jim embark on a refreshing tasting adventure, sampling eight different fruit-forward beers from Leinenkugel's and Saugatuck Brewing Company. Breaking from their usual preferences, they discover remarkable differences between these easy-drinking summer options.

Shandies – traditionally beer mixed with a lemon-flavored beverage – make perfect companions for hot summer days. But not all shandies are created equal. The duo methodically works through Leinenkugel's offerings, including their famous Summer Shandy (which surprisingly falls flat with notes reminiscent of "Lemon Pledge") and their more successful Juicy Peach option. The real revelation comes when they crack open Saugatuck's variety pack, where every offering impresses with natural fruit flavors and perfect balance.

The clear champion emerges in Saugatuck's Black Cherry Lemonade Shandy, earning a 3.0 score with its beautiful reddish hue, authentic cherry flavor, and clean finish. "That might be the best one," they agree, surprised by how much they enjoy this departure from their usual preferences.

Whether you're a dedicated craft beer enthusiast looking for something different or simply seeking the perfect "lawnmower beer" for summer refreshment, this episode offers candid insights into which shandies deliver and which fall short. The unexpected winner proves that sometimes venturing outside your beer comfort zone leads to delightful discoveries.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Grab a beer and pull up a chair.
Welcome to the Northwoods BeerGuy Podcast.
Hey, ladies and gentlemen, andwelcome back to the Northwoods
Beer Guy Podcast.
This is Mike, the NorthwoodsBeer Guy, and once again I'm
joined by the Jim.
Hey, how are you doing the?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
buddy Doing good man.
How about yourself, Not too badEnjoying the summer weather?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, it definitely warmed up, got a little humid,
had some rain again, which weneed but we don't need.
Uh, but it's beer drinkingweather.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
You're gonna stay hydrated yep, yep, that is for
sure, you know, and we were lastweek we had the beers of summer
.
We called it, you know, andit's kind of like light beers
and and we thought, you know, let's we should do another one,
because there's there's allsorts of different styles and
things like that easy drinkingbeer easy drinking beers and uh.
So we started looking and itwasn't as easy as I was thinking

(01:16):
it was going to be right.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
well, I think the hard part is not only finding a
group of beers, but I think wewere kind of looking for the
variety pack so we could try tomake it a little easier on us,
and that made it even moredifficult.
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
I thought how hard could it be?
It's summertime, Everybody'sgoing to have but, and I think,
well, you know we were talkingearlier and I had told you that
I did find a couple othervariety packs, but they were all
IPAs.
Right, there's two differentcompanies that had a variety
pack of IPAs.
And I was like man, we've donea lot of IPAs.
We're looking for easy drinkingRight.
Lawnmower beers, lawnmower beers.

(01:50):
Well, we found two varietypacks.
We've kind of steered clear alittle bit of doing an episode
all on these, but why not do itRight?
They're going to be decent.
I'm sure you picked out onefirst, yep, you had found it,
and that was by Sagatuck Yep,out of Michigan, out of Michigan

(02:11):
.
And I found one fromLeinenkugels, or as we say,
leinehugels Yep and Upnort,upnort.
Well, they used to be Upnortand then they got- they still
have.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
The Lainey Lodge is still there.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
They do have the brewery there, but they're only
doing like.
I can't remember if it's testruns or experimental type things
or something like that.
The rest of it kind of gotmoved somewhere else, right Kind
of.
I know the Chippewa Falls areawasn't real happy about that, so
anyway, so we are doingShandy's.
Yes, well, I should say we havesix that are for sure Shandy's

(02:44):
shandies?
Yes, well, I should say we havesix that are for sure shandies
and we've got two that I don'tthink are, but they were still
in that summertime lodge pack, the 90s.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
So it should be a good cross-section of a lot of
different.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, I know we've talked about trying to do a
Rattler one, but those are alittle more difficult to find as
well.
So I guess this is kind of thecousin so to speak.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
We did halfway there, yeah exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Well, all right, I guess.
Why don't we kick it off?
You pick what we want to startwith.
These are all 12-ounce cans.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Well, should we try the Lineys, or do you want to
try the Sega Tug?
You tell me we can do.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Let's start with the Lineys We'll do.
Should we start with the lineys, we'll do.
Should we start with the twothat aren't okay, that we don't
think are?
Yep, so we'll start with thisone.
And this is the liney lodgelime, lime.
And this is a mexican stylelager.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
So I was right, they're not all shanties right,
I don't think we've had amexican style lager from them.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Let's see know, let's see.
On the back here it says at ourpilot brewery.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It must be up in Chippewa Falls, all right.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
At our pilot brewery at the Liny Lodge in Chippewa
Falls, Wisconsin, we craftedthis Mexican-style lager to be a
perfect year-round escape.
Liny Lodge lime is juicy andcrisp.
Ooh yeah, With natural limeflavors and a refreshing taste

(04:13):
of a relaxing getaway anytimeanywhere.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
That's why it caught me off guard.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I was expecting another flavor, right.
So I do like the can.
I mean it's got kind of a lakescene on it and I think they're
like paddle boarding kind ofcool.
So, yeah, I'm trying to think.
I don't think they've done awhole lot of mexican style
loggers for sure, so we'll see.
Oh, it opens like a can.
Boy, you can smell lime, canyou?

(04:41):
Yeah, that's kind of wild.
There's some for you, sir.
Ooh, there's some lime here.
There's lime in that Lime inthat there can.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yes, there is Very light colored.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I mean, you know A little bubbles, A lot of bubbles
.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
That's a good thing, right.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Yeah, yeah, boy, you can smell lime.
A lot of aroma.
Okay, now it's kicking in alittle bit Right On.
The aftertaste is where I getthe lime.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, it's not overpowering, though no, I mean
it's more subtle than Right.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Very subtle, because we've had other Mexican-style
lagers where they do have a lotmore flavor, I feel.
And now I should be upfrontthese ones aren't the coldest.
I stuck them in the fridge andthey were still cooling down,
but it's cold enough, so we'llget the idea Right.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
It's not.
I mean it's okay, I don't thinkthe coldness, but I think the
flavor is just a little bit weak, a little yeah, but I mean it's
not going to scare you away, no, it's just there's not a lot of
the lime flavor.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I'm trying to find the ABV on it.
It's probably on here, but theyput everything in micro print.
Yes, so I'm going to jump onuntapped so I can just see what
it says.
It's always a bummer when theydo that.
It's like I can't read it.
Oh sure, limey Lodge, lime.
Oh, here we go 4.7.
Yep, I just see it up the verytop there, so interesting.

(06:06):
Like you said, Jim, it's notbad.
No, I mean you could drink acouple of them.
You could drink a couple of themeasy.
I don't think it would give youheartburn either.
No, no, the only thing I kindof wish it had a little bit more
lime Right, where you couldtaste it more than just on the
aftertaste Right, very muted,very subtle.
Yeah, I agree with you, we'vehad worse, we've had better.

(06:26):
Right, it's not bad.
What are you thinking on thescore Boy, I could see having
this during the summer.
Right for sure, ice cold, pullit out of the cooler, you know,
I think it could be refreshing.
I'm going to go like a 2.5.
I guess I'm gonna start thereand I do that, and I always

(06:48):
paint myself in a corner, so,like I said, I don't mind it.
Uh, I think it could be adecent one, right, and I'm sure
like your, your 12 pack this was, so I got two more right, I can
test our theory at some point.
So what did you think of it?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Well, I mean, it's definitely not offensive in any
way, but, like I think we talked, the lime is just a little bit.
It's not quite as much there asI was hoping to, so I'm going
to give it a 2.3 so I don'tpaint myself into a quarter.
Yeah, I know, I'm going to kickmyself.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I3, so I don't paint myself into a quarter.
Yeah, I know I'm going to kickmyself.
I know I am.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
So it's not bad, I think.
But they could have definitelyadded a little bit more lime and
I don't think it's going to betoo over, just not make it
overpowering.
But I think that flavor Becauseyou're buying the beer because
it has lime flavor, so put maybea little bit more in there.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, I agree 100%.
I think they were on the rightpath.
Right, Just a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I think would have made a world of difference.
Spot on.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Then I could have felt good about giving it a 2.5.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Well, maybe the next one will even get better.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Well, we'll see, all right.
So the next one is again byLion and Kugel's, and this is
their Juicy Peach.
Juicy Peach, yeah, their juicypeach, juicy peach, yeah, it
says landon.
Kugel's juicy peach is arefreshing and easy drinking
beer that balances delicioussweetness from natural peach

(08:14):
juice with subtle tart notes.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
This approachable, oh , there you go, not crushable
not crush, not crushable, it'sapproachable.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
This approachable, thirst-quenching beer is packed
with flavor, sure to please yourpalate with its smooth finish.
Let's see where I'll have you.
Look at the.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
The ABV yeah, I got a 4.4.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Oh, so this is a little bit lower than the first
one, not bad.
And again another different, alittle bit lower than the first
one, not bad.
And again another differentlake scene.
They're out kayaking, yep, trying to find your peaches,
yeah.
Yes the great northern peach isan underwater fruit, so let's
see We'll see if this one, youknow, does it give us Looks like

(09:02):
the same color as the first one?
Yep, it sure does.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
A lot of head.
A lot of head.
Oh, you can smell peach.
Ooh, there's an aroma.
There's an aroma.
You can smell peach.
Yes, and I'm not a big peachguy but I can smell it you can
smell it.
Ooh, yeah, that's, that'sinteresting.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
That's yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Oh, by far, there's peach you can taste peach, that
you can taste peach, yes See,that's much better, I think, if
that first one tasted like thatwith lime.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
It would have been a lot better.
But yeah, that's definitely.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
But I guess the hard part I'm not a big peach guy,
but I mean it's still it doesn'ttaste.
They mentioned tart at onepoint.
This doesn't taste tart.
I mean little bit on the finish, but nothing, nothing.
You should be scared of no.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Like I said, I do think you need to be a peach fan
yeah to, you know to enjoy it.
I don't know if I'd havemultiples of this you know what
I mean in one sitting.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I think the peach might get to be a little bit
much, but uh, I like it betterthan the first yes, for sure,
this, this is not bad, I mean, and I'm not a peach guy, but I
think this is still good right,I mean it's I think I drink a
can.
I don't think I'd be scared,even though I don't like peaches
, but I think I could stillfinish a can.
Yeah, without any doubt.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah, I'm impressed.
Like I said it definitely.
It says peach.
It tastes like peach.
Yes, you know, I give himcredit for that.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
And I think the good part about it.
So overpowering the stagefinish is still smooth and it
doesn't leave a bad aftertaste,so I think that's good, I think
for a score, I think I'm goingto actually go with a 2.7.
Nice, I'm going to pump it up alittle bit there.
See what happens.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I was thinking the same score.
To be honest with you, I doenjoy it, actually, kind of
surprising, because I don't mindpeach, but's not like a flavor
I typically am going to go to.
Right right, but like you said,I agree I could drink a can of
it for sure.
Oh, yeah, and I think thecolder the better.
Yeah, but yeah, that's not bad.

(10:55):
I think they did a good job onthat.
One First two have been reallygood yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I say that's good, because my variety packness is
still kind of in question attimes.
So so now we got six shandies.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Now we're on to the shandy.
So I would say, between thesefirst two, the peach was the
winner, yes, of the first two.
So oh, yes, you know we'regoing to kind of separate those
from the rest.
And since the rest of them areall this, you know the same
style, yes, so these are goingto be a direct comparison and it
should be interesting becausewe've got six of them.
We don't have two that are thesame flavor oh, you know what

(11:32):
I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
they're different.
I guess we can just go down theline huh, yeah, I mean, I tried
to look up a little bit too tosee what you know, what yep,
what a shandy is.
And it just says a shandy is abeer or cider mixed with a lemon
flavored beverageavoredbeverage, usually half lemonade
and half beer.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
So it's similar to Radler Right, but it must be so
the Radler has more soda in it,right.
Right, because, well, that's atleast 50%, wasn't it Right?
Like half lemonade, half beer.
So this must be a littledifferent, but with all
different flavors.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
So it must be half that fruit and then half beer.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yeah, yep, okay so interesting, so all right,
that's good.
So which way do you want tostart from?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Should we keep on rolling yeah?

Speaker 1 (12:13):
We can start with this one.
We'll just keep working, we'llget through the two lineys and
then we'll get to the Sagatuck.
All right, all All right.
What do we got now?
Well, the first one that wehave is Grapefruit, grapefruit,
grapefruit, shandy, and this isa 4.2%.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I found where it's on the can.
I found it.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Yeah, it's 4.2% ABV and this one says a traditional
shandy beer mixed with a littlesomething extra, Uh-oh, Extra.
We don't know what that is.
Oh, Linenkugel's GrapefruitShandy is a crisp Weiss beer
with natural grapefruit flavor.
Bright, citrusy andrefreshingly balanced.

(12:53):
Perfect for the day on the lakeand they're water skiing on
this one.
Oh, there you go.
Look at that.
That's kind of an interesting.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I give them credit for that, so it doesn't correct
me if I'm wrong.
But if you smell grapefruit, does it always sometimes mean
that it's an IPA?
I don't know.
There's a lot.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Hops, like we said before, are either a grapefruit
or pine, right?
You know like that kind of ascent, so I don't know.
So this might, this might beone of those Nice, because I'm
the first person to say I'm nota huge grapefruit, like the
fruit itself, right, I kind ofeh, oh, that looks like
grapefruit juice coming out.

(13:30):
There's some for you.
All right, there's me.
Oh that, oh wow, I say that'sgot, that's got.
That is definitely that's gotgrapefruit, that's grapefruit
Like all day long smell.
Wow, that's even a little hazytoo.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
As I say, it's definitely Like a New England
IPA.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I say it's definitely hazier than the first two.
Oh yes, so it'll be interestingto see if the other ones are
like that or not.
Wow, that is.
Boy that is grapefruit.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
This is really going to go down good here goes.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Nothing is nothing.
Oh, here you go cheers.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yes, doesn't have the aroma is a lot stronger it is
than the yeah, it almost has alittle bit of a sweetness to it,
and you know what I mean.
I mean, right, it's not thatbitter you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
When you eat grapefruit hurts your jaw, yeah,
so you gotta like load sugar ontop of it to try and kill that,
and it kind of reminds me ofthat a little bit.
Well, that's, I mean this.
So it's not bad.
It's not I mean, so it's notbad.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
It's not yeah, I wouldn't, or it's not horrendous
, Right.
I would not personally get alot of this, so like if all, if
the first three were on theshelf the grapefruit- I'd go to
the peach one first, okay, andthen the Mexican lager one.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
But I mean we're both not grapefruit guys anyway.
We're both not grapefruit guysanyway.
So I mean Right.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Yeah.
It's hard for us to like reallybe unbiased sometimes I was
going to say I hate to say it,but we're not.
Somebody else that likesgrapefruit would probably think
this is really good, right?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
So could you take that to work and have it for
breakfast.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Well, it depends on where you work.
I suppose you know.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Or what if you put it in one of your tumb?
Yeah, this is good?
I suppose I don't.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I wouldn't recommend that we're not recommending
drinking at work, so grapefruitjuice right in some way.
Yeah, kind of some yeah, Idon't it's again it's.
It's not bad in the aftertaste.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
I mean it's gone right, pretty quick it's smooth
on finish, but it's just thatinitial.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
It's just that grapefruit where, like I said, I
could more, way more, put upwith the peach flavoring than
the grapefruit, and even thoughthis is kind of that, grapefruit
with sugar, a little sweetnessto it and it's not terrible, but
again I think one of those andI'd be good for a while.
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
For the week or whatever.
And then you got two more ofthose.
You said now Mm-hmm, oh, soWell, unless you want to take
them.
So you got a friend you've gotto find.
If you'd like to take them, I'dshare.
You might need to find a friendthen for those Exactly.
So what are you thinking?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
on a score, I'm going to go with 2.4.
Which actually it is better, Ithink, than what I was expecting
, right?
But again, like I said, I'mjust not a big grapefruit guy
and I think, like I said before, somebody that likes grapefruit
probably would think it's prettygood.
Right, you know, I'm just notthat guy.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Well, I'll stick right with you.
I've already got a 2.3 in thebooks, so I'm going to go with
2.2.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Okay, so yeah, we kind of went down.
Just the same kind of thing.
Yeah, I just it's not offensiveagain and I think anybody could
drink it, but I'm just not ahuge grapefruit guy and you're
not a grapefruit guy.
We've had other beers like thatwhere it's like, if I really
liked that it'd probably be good, right, we'd be drinking all
IPAs then yeah, exactly, Alright.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
So this is like the one that's been on the market
for a while.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
This one is on the market for a long time.
We just haven't talked about it, right yeah we've each had this
one before, but we've never hadit on the podcast.
Do you have the fruit to gowith it too?
No, you're supposed to havethis.
It's on the can, the littlesliver to put it in.
I know.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I know I didn't do that.
That's probably why it's notgoing to taste good now.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
It probably.
You're probably right.
This is the Summer Shandy, summer Shandy, and this is like.
I think this was the firstShandy they really came out with
, I think.
So it's 4.2%.
Pardon me, I just burped and Iburped up grapefruit so great.
And this is kind of I know youand I had talked about it before

(17:20):
where it seemed like for a longtime the only new beers that
Lainey's was coming out with wasShandy's Right, you know, and
it was like they really kind ofhad the market corner.
They kind of cornered thatmarket, but now well, we're
seeing some other companies aregetting in there now Right,
getting in there now right.
So, but this was their first, this was their original.

(17:40):
That basically kind of put theshandy, at least for lineys on
the map.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yep on the market there, uh.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
So let's see, this is lineys summer.
Shandy is an award-winning ohthere you go say award-winning
beer, crisp, refreshing, andtruly one of a kind inspired by
frank, by Frank Kubler, if youremember him.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Oh, mr Trivia Guy, that's the bike guy, right.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Yeah, let's see.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Good thing you didn't read that before we did our
last podcast.
I should have done this twoweeks ago.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Right, it says Frank Kubler, whose Munich Tavern was
overrun with thousands ofthirsty bicyclists.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
See, you know that, now I know.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
I'm not even amused anymore.
See, it is all aligning.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I didn't give you any bad scoop.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Right, so let's see.
It says he mixed beer withlemonade and it was a hit.
Let's see.
And then it says, like him, ourdoors are always open, so come
visit there you go.
Oh see, and they are alwaysopen, so come visit there you go
See, and here again they'rewater skiing on this can.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
So yeah, and this has got a lemon on it.
See, everything I told you inthe audience last week is all
true.
It's all true.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
It's on the can See.
See, I've got to startbelieving in you more, see.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
So those questions, they're not even hard questions.
All the answers are right onthe beer can exactly who knew.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
That is funny, though , that I had no idea until last
week, and now, now you knoweverything.
Now it's been confirmed, nowit's not even surprising anymore
.
No, it's just like no way Icould definitely smell some do
you get a lemon yeah oh yeahthere's lemon.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I don't taste lemonade.
No, I I'm not smelling lemonade.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
I'm smelling like A lemon, a lemon with like the
zest and yeah, squeeze right inthere.
There you go, it's still prettycloudy Yep, it's hazy.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I don't know if it's as hazy as the grapefruit but
it's hazy-ish Boy.
I mean it's not bad, but I meanI think we've had worse
lemonade flavored.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
I hate to say it.
The grapefruit, I think, isbetter than this one.
You like the grapefruit, I likethe grapefruit, I never thought
I'd say that.
I mean this is it's notterrible, but it's just it's not
the best.
No Of the four, that's mynumber four From Limey's that we
had today.
I don't know, it's just got alittle bit of a weird lemon to
it.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
It's hard to describe because I mean, you know you're
going to get a lemon flavor, but you're getting a strong
lemon flavor, right, it's almostlike a little too much Limey's.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
I apologize, but it tastes like what Lemon Pledge
smells like A little bit.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
You know what I mean it's that stronger, because,
like what lemon pledge smellslike a little bit.
You know what I mean.
It's that that's stronger,because I think we were actually
maybe hoping more lemonade likeyes, sugary.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yes, a little sweeter , maybe more like a randler.
Yes, you know, I think thatwould have been that kind of
what we were hoping for.
Yes, I agree a hundred percentwith you because this is just a
little bit too.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
I don't say tart.
Tart's not the right word, isit?

Speaker 1 (20:34):
no, not really.
And there's no sweetness to it.
Yeah, there's nothing, and it'sjust kind of Really hard on the
palate.
It almost dries your tongue outa little bit and the aftertaste
kind of lingers.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Yeah, it stays in there.
You probably did need to putthe fresh sliced lemon in there.
There's probably enough lemonin there.
You are welcome.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
You saved me Exactly.
Sometimes you gotta are welcome.
You saved me exactly.
Sometimes you got to save themfrom themselves.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
That's what I did yes , oh darn, I was like hoping
that was gonna be better.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's just,and I don't know.
I mean, maybe after one or twoit might I think you could drink
a couple.
Did we say what the abv was?

Speaker 1 (21:11):
4.2, 4.2, so that's the lowest ABV one too.
Yeah, it's not the best.
No, what, oh?
Is it your turn?
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, I'm going to say a 2.4, just a little bit
below average.
I mean, I can drink it, I think, and the only reason why I say
I like it a little bit betterthan the peach and the
grapefruit, it's just I don'tlike those fruits, right.
So the beers are all, but thosethree are all a little bit
below average for me, right, where you know, it's just hard.

(21:41):
It's hard for me.
I don't know what are youthinking?

Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'm glad you're sitting down.
I'm going to 1.9.
Wow.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
I don't think you've hit a 1.9.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Not in a while.
I just I don't like that lemonflavor.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
It's like it's strong .

Speaker 1 (21:57):
But it's almost like a fake lemon flavor to me, a
little bit Like almost lemonconcentrate.
Yes, there you go yeah, youknow, I don't know.
I just To me it was fourth outof the four from Limey's.
Okay, yep, my opinion, I don'tknow, it's yeah, I'm still just
like oh yeah, boy, you mix thegrapefruit with the lemon and

(22:21):
it's not a good combo.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yeah, that's not a good flavor, that's not a good
juice to have.
No, no exactly.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Well, should we?

Speaker 2 (22:28):
roll in the next one, see if we can cut something
down, let's roll into Michiganand see what they know about
shandies.
I did see something here.
See what they know aboutshandies.
I did see something here, okay, where it talked about that
shandy pack.
Okay, it says inspired by thefamous Michigan fruit belt I
didn't know there was a fruitbelt.
Okay, I didn't know either.
And our blueberry lemonadeshandy that we all know and love

(22:49):
.
We expanded our shandy linewith other delicious fruits we
cherish here in Michigan.
Take a trip to the orchard youpick.
Ooh, here in Michigan, take atrip to the orchard you pick.
So we get blueberry lemonadeshandy, strawberry lemonade
shandy, peach lemonade shandyand black cherry lemonade shandy
are the four beers that we'regoing to be trying, alright, and
each one has a little bit of awrite-up on each can too.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
So I guess I kind of was lying because we had two
peaches, oh, but this one'sgoing to be mixed.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Yes, oh, so, but this one's going to be mixed, yes,
oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, withlemonade.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
So Yep, all right.
Well, do you want to start withthe blueberry?
All right, since that's the onethey said.
That is kind of their originalShould.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I read the hoo-ha yeah, yep, go for it.
All right, so we got.
So this is percent alcohol.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Oh, so it's a little bit, a little bit higher than
the linies ones so taste likesummer.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
The tart citrus of lemon and the tangy freshness of
blueberries combine to make adelightfully fruity beer.
Enjoy this refreshing can ofsummer while soaking up those
cherished sunny days.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Oh nice, well let's so there's a lot of good talk
there.
Yeah, five percent A sip ofsunshine.
So let's hope that.
Let's hope that the sunshinetastes good.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Yes, it's not just trying to get us a suntan.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
No, and the one thing I've noticed, they've all been
kind of the same color.
There's no blue in this one, right, there's no change in the
color with the fruit.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Yep, exactly, I think I can smell a blueberry.
A Color with the fruit Yep,exactly, I think I can smell a
blueberry A little bit.
Yeah, is that a faint blueberrythere?

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Yeah, there's a faint one, it's not overpowering.
I was expecting a little bitmore.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Like last week.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Yeah, and that blueberry one, yeah, yeah, as
soon as you popped the can.
Whoa, that was a good one yeah.
That was like almost foamingout all over, I could drink a
can of that.
The aroma doesn't really giveit away.
No, no, I was going to say, like the other ones, you could
really have the aroma and thenthe.
Well, that lime one, forinstance, was very faint.
This is kind of the other way.

(24:43):
The aroma was faint but theflavor is pretty pronounced.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Really good.
I mean, I don't know if I,maybe the lemonade is in there
in the very end.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
I don't know gotta point there.
It's faint.
You gotta point there.
I don't really taste that atall.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
It's definitely blueberry, it's not as strong
blueberry as last week no, no,and it does.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
The finish does have a little bit of a I don't know
how you describe that flavorkind of a like it's almost like
tart, because they said it'start and it could be yeah I
suppose it's tart.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
I guess that's tart, citrus and tangy.
It's not tangy, tangy maybe.
Maybe that's what it is,because I'm sitting there going.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
What is that?
It's not bad, though.
I mean I can see where theystarted with that and expanded
on it.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, I mean that's a good base If that's your base
model, like the bourbon barrelones maybe they should try and
put that in some bourbon barrels.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Well, if they find out, we can come over and test
it for them.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
You remember, because we've had a number of their
beers before.
And you remember, Jim, we hadthat blueberry maple syrup stout
Remember it had the pancakes onit, and remember that one, the
blueberry was pretty pronouncedtoo, right, but then of course
it had the maple and it was adark beer of course, but kind of
interesting that they got ablueberry in a stout and a
blueberry in a shandy.
So kind of any you know, anysize you want, they can put

(25:58):
blueberries in it.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
So they I mean they really got that down to a
science because it's not overthe top, it's not.
That's, that's decent, I meanthat's pretty good yeah.
I don't mind that.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Score wise.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Yeah, you're first this time.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, I don't mind that.
And looking at those otherflavors, I'm really hoping a
couple of them are, you know, right.
Yes, because I'm definitelymore of that flavor, but we'll
see what happens.
But like I said for their, youknow, if that's the one that
they the first Shandy they did,we don't know that, but it kind
of read that way, like that wastheir main Shandy.
It it's pretty good.
I don't mind it.
I mean I'm pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I mean, because we don't do a lot of.
They're not around here veryoften, this brewery Sagatuck, so
this is definitely a stab inthe dark for grabbing it.
So so far they've impressed me.
I'm going to stay right withyou there.
I'm going to go 2.8 as well.
I like it.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
I mean, I would definitely recommend that craft
beer.
I think that would be a goodone to start with.
Yep.
So far, really any of thesethree shanties.
Anybody could drink them.
Yes, you know.
So what's the next flavor wegot?
Well, do you want to do thepeach?
Yeah, we got to do it anyway, all right so again, this is, uh,
the 5.0, okay, abv.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Juicy, sweet and refreshing, oh, so that's even
good, yeah, so we got the tartcitrus of lemon like the first
one, okay, and the tangyfreshness of peaches like the
first one, combined to make adelightfully fruity beer.
Enjoy this refreshing can ofsummer while soaking up those
cherished sunny days.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
So basically they just changed blueberry for peach
on the can.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
And everything else is.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Well, the colors.
They changed the label color.
The blueberry was blue, thepeach is kind of a peach color.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Peachish.
Yeah, you know, but theydefinitely got the Whatever like
.
The fruit's got a smiley faceon it.
Your peach's got a smiley faceon it, this one's got a lemon
with the smiley face.
I think they're all lemon.
Don't look.
Yeah, he's got red eyes.
Yeah, that's the next one.
Yeah, alright, so the peach.

(28:01):
So we had a pretty decent, yeah, peach candy.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
I'm kind of interested To see how it
compares.
To that Lainey's peach.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
But now, the only difference here Is this one's
mixed with lemonade, correct,correct.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
So it is a little different.
Yep, yep, boy, I don't have notmuch for aroma.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Again, I get very, very faint yeah right, I mean
like right, when you're theymust have this.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Like, yeah, like, wave the peach over the top of
it when it was in the can.
That's not bad either.
I like the aftertaste this onebetter than the blueberry one
it's almost like a little sweetfinish, doesn't it?

Speaker 2 (28:29):
yeah, is that?
Yep, I agree with you.
This one I like better than theblueberry.
Wow, this I mean.
So, I guess me.
What I like most is that Idon't taste the peach.
I get the peach, but it's thatsweeter, right, right.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
It's a sweeter peach.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
But I mean that first one.
You definitely got a peacharoma and a flavor.
Yeah, this one is more subdued.
I don't know if the lemonadeand the peach.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
It's got to be.
It has to be where those twoare kind of competing right, you
know, uh, yeah, it's not bad, Imean no no, I agree with you,
dude.
I don't, I don't mind it, man,I don't like that I'm not again
surprised, I mean because we had.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
I mean sometimes, you know, we some of these beers
you might if you go to afriend's house you might get to
try one of these, but this wholegroup here we've never even
seen or had any.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
No, prior knowledge.
Nope, I didn't know that.
Uh, sagatuck had made like allthese different flavors.
Right, you know of a Shandy, soI mean Lainey's, they're from
Wisconsin, we knew they had andthey've got I don't know how
many, or at least they did haveA bunch, a whole bunch of
different flavors of Shandy's.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Yep, so yeah, this is interesting, definitely not bad
.
I mean, I could see myselffinishing a whole beer of this.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Yeah, the whole can, without any doubt, you know, and
honestly this kind of showsthat.
You know, I know we really areinto the bourbon barrel stuff
and all that, but we're willingto try this stuff, you know.
And again, given our honestopinions and they're kind of
surprising me.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Letting our listeners know too, because they might be
going out Checking a liquorstore out too and they might see
this out there.
Do they take a chance on it ornot?

Speaker 1 (29:56):
So hopefully we're giving them a little bit of a
Hopefully through the first two,I'd say, yeah, take a chance on
it.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah, because I still got two more of these.
I'm not going to trade my twofor any of yours.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Oh, you're not going to.
Really, I think I like thesetwo so far.
You like those better.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Okay, well, for a score so now here, this is the
corner I painted myself into.
So I gave the Liny Peach a 2.7,but I think I like this one
better.
So what I think I'm going to dois I'm going to change my Liny
Peach to a 2.6, and I'm going togive this one a 2.7.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
All right.
Well, if you're going to dothat, I'm going to do the same
thing, because I don't thinkit's a 2.9, but then it's.
It's better than the lineys, you know.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
So yeah see here again painted ourselves in the
corner.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
I mean, we did not know how good these were going
to taste, no, exactly and that'sthe cool part, when you've
never, you know, and that's theone thing where the vast
majority of the beers that we'vehad on here we've never had
before.
Right, you know, and that's it.
I think that helps to where wecan give an honest opinion,
where we're not already have animpression unbiased, except for
the summer, shandy, you know butother than that right, totally

(30:59):
unbiased yep, all right, so wegot two left, so what's the next
one?

Speaker 2 (31:03):
so now we're at the strawberry lemonade shandy 5.0
5.0 and I'm guessing it, theyjust put strawberry.
No oh, actually there's somenew words oh nice I might have
to get out the dictionary.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
You're craving something light-bodied,
refreshing and unique.
That's why we created our tastyversion of a Radler.
But it says Shandy on the canyeah nice, okay, with an added
twist of strawberry flavor.
The tart citrus of lemon andthe sweet freshness of
strawberry flavors combine tocreate a perfectly delightful

(31:37):
beer.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Huh so let's hope you know, and I'll be the first
person to say, the radler styletotally shocked me.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, I mean, we've had everyone we've had have been
really good, yeah, so yeah, Imean I don't think we've had a
bad one now this one for aradler is a higher abv.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Yes, they're usually.
They're usually like a 2 to 3.
2 to 3.
Yep.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
No red in it.
There's no red, it's not even a.
It is a little darker colored, though, a little bit.
Yes, I wouldn't say it's redthough.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
No, there's not like a pink hue or anything, and this
is definitely cleaner looking.
Yep, not hazy, it's not hazy.
Well, there's strawberry.
Oh, you can smell strawberry.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
There's some strawberry yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Heavy aroma.
For that it's kind ofinteresting.
It's kind of in between Well, Ishouldn't say in between the
blueberry.
You definitely smell blueberry,Yep, but it wasn't as
pronounced and the peach wasreally faint.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
So this is definitely the strongest aroma so far.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I think I taste more lemonadey yes, if that's a word
than strawberry I mean it's not,it's not bad it's not tart
lemonade, no, it's not heartburnno either, you know it's not
bad.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
It's probably maybe not the best, but I mean it
still tastes good, though, and Imean we haven't had a lot of
strawberry beers, have we that?
Have really had a good flavoror a good aroma.
Not really because they overlike I think sometimes they put
too much in Right Right, butthis has got, I think, pretty
good, well, as I say, and a lotof times, the strawberry beers.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
I don't think we've had all that many, right Anyway.
But like you said, either youget that and again I'll call it
the Jolly Rancher strawberry, where it's that really strong
fake taste, or you can barelytaste it.
Right, and I think this one isthey must have either used I
don't know if they used natural-flavors or if they actually
used strawberries Right.
I don't, you know, and I guessmy concern, you know, if I was a

(33:23):
brewer, using actualstrawberries would be all the
seeds Right.
If they came out of the berryin the beer that's probably not
a good thing.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
So I would bet they used flavoring Right use
flavoring Right, because it's alot of straining I bet you've
got to do oh I bet, I bet.
But this is a perfect seasonfor it.
This is the time of year whenstrawberries are going to ripen
and you're going to be gettingsome good ones.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
I can see so far we've got one to go yet, but I
can see having a cooler full ofthese on a boat out on the lake
just putzing around and enjoyinglife, you know, oh, oh for sure
these are not over the top inany way.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I mean they're not, and I don't think anybody would
be scared of any one of thesewe've had.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
So far no, I agree, Score-wise oh boy.
Let's see we might have todouble up.
We're going to have to doubleup.
There's no way around it,because I think this one I was
going to go like a 2.6.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Yeah, to be honest with you, I was going to say,
right in the middle of the roadtoo, I was going to go.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
So 2.6 for you, yep, anything else, I know that
bothers you but I'm just likeit's not a 2.9, and it's not a
2.221.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
So, yeah, again, I think it's good flavor and
anybody could really drink it,you know yeah it's a good one.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
Yeah, I was going to say I was actually going to go
with two fives.
Okay, so I don't even have todouble up.
That was open for me.
Oh, that's right.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
See again, again.
Even with my one nine, Ipainted myself in a corner.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
But I mean, I like that one.
I mean the aroma's good.
I just wish there was just alittle bit more strawberry
flavor.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yep, other than that, it's really good.
I agree with you.
Well, we're on our last shandyof the episode.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
All right, and we've had some pretty good black
cherry beers yeah.
So this is going to be a goodtest.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
I think most of the cherry ones we've had have been
stouts.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yes, you know Well, and we've already read this
exact.
This is the same as the veryfirst three, except it changed
black cherries.
All right, 5.0?
, 5.0.
Okay.
So we'll just save thelisteners from that Don't have
to repeat everything over again.
I'm hoping, but that's a weirdblack cherry on the front with a
smiley face.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah, that's a lemon.
Or what's on his forehead?
Oh, his eyes are the cherries.
His eyes are the cherries,we've got to look back on the
can and see what the other onesare.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Oh, maybe those are strawberries, because look real
close.
Do you see the little dots onthe seeds?

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, let's see the peaches Then.
I'm sure are peaches that arehis eyes and the blue is the
blueberries.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Oh, boy, oh you're right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Oh my gosh, it's a reddish cherry colored.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Yes, this is the first one that we've had that
had the color that we thoughtshould have been there.
Even the foam was a slightreddish, slightly hazy, it's not
crystal clear by any means.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Huh, I hope it's good .
I like black cherries.
All right, well, let's, I can't.
I don't get a whole lot ofaroma.
There's not much for.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Oh, it's good, I like black cherry, all right, well,
let's, I can't.
I don't get a whole lot ofaroma, there's not much for.
Oh, it's cherry, it's just yeah.
And the flavor is good, but notover the top.
But I mean, it's, it's good, anice cherry flavor.
Yeah, I like that wow that was.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I'll trade you a grapefruit for a cherry
grapefruit and a summer shandyfor some black cherries wow,
that one is really.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
That's pretty good.
That might be the best one.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
I am thinking it's yeah, I would agree on that.
I like I wish it, maybe if ithad a little bit more aroma, but
the flavor wise, it really, andlike you said, it's not over
the top but it you definitelyget that right.
Cherry flavor, I mean, it'sactually got the color with it
now.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Yeah yeah, the aroma is crazy.
Who knew that is really good, yep.
Second taste is just like thefirst and it's not like over the
top.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
No, it's not that fake cherry flavor.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
And it finishes smooth.
It doesn't like linger on.
It doesn't like give you a badlike dry tongue.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Nope, not at all that's really good.
That's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Wow, boy Well, I think I'm going to say 3.0.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
I'm right there with you.
I'll just say that's the topone for me.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Yep, that one is very surprisingly good Boy.
That whole last four werereally good, those were all
really good.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Yeah, like I said, I shouldn't say you know how do we
compare it to Lainey's, becausewe only had two shandies right,
but and I'm still burping thatgrapefruit.
Oh, I do think sagatuck did areally good job on all of them
honestly yes, uh, I wish some ofthem had maybe a little bit
more aroma, but the ones thatthe roma was down, the flavor
was up right, you know it's kindof crazy and, honestly, the,

(37:48):
the linies, the, the uhgrapefruit one for being
grapefruit and the fact that I'mgoing to probably be reminded
of it all night wasn't all thatbad.
So, right, uh, would I recommendthese to new people?
Absolutely yes, I'd recommendthem to new people, to people
that love craft beer, the people, if you like shanties.
You have never had a shanty, especially the sagatuck.

(38:08):
If you can find that thatsampler pack, buy it.
That's really good, all four ofthose all of them are really
good and and honestly, the, the,the lineys one.
It's their lodge pack for thesummer.
Yes, uh, they were good.
You know, like I said, I'msummer shandy, I'm not a big fan
of right that that one is alittle bit tough, a little bit
tough to kind of manage down.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
But yeah, I think they were really good and so
what are you going to say thenfor your top one or two?

Speaker 1 (38:34):
well, number one by far, I think, was the black
cherry.
Okay, you like that, I likethat one.
Number two was probably the.
Uh, would it be the peach orthe strawberry?
The peach from sagatuck, okay,uh, I do like the.
The peach from linies waspretty good.
That would be probably my thirduh, and then the strawberry for
you know what I mean.

(38:55):
So uh, that's how I would putthem, and but really, again,
like I said, other than thesummer shandy, I think I'd have
no problem recommending any ofthese okay, yeah, I mean they're
all.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
They're all very good , yep, I mean.
And especially we're kind,we're not jumping out of our
wheelhouse but we're notaccustomed to drinking these
types of beers, so we'reprobably not the experts, but
it's sort of just kind of givenour opinion.
So you know, and especially ifyou drink a lot of the big box
beers, these are probably nottoo far off from those, because

(39:29):
I mean the big box beers don'thave a lot of flavor, right?

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Well, and you look at it, you know, look at, and I'm
just going to drop a name.
Look at it, you know.
Look at and I'm just gonna dropa name.
Look at bush, they've.
They had apple.
Now they got lime I mean they're, they're driving into, not a
shandy but kind of similar, butthey're putting these other
flavors now in, right, you know, with their beer and it's.
It's kind of interesting to seebecause I'm sure they looked at
it and said wait a minute, there's a market there, yep, you

(39:52):
know, and they're competingthere.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
I don't know if anybody else is doing that for
the big guys you know, I don'tthink so, because I just
actually saw, I think, thatApple Bush Light recently, so
that hasn't been out very long.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Oh, that's been out for a couple years.
They bring it out in the summer, oh, okay it just comes
seasonal here, this justrecently that they just came out
with okay.
So but yeah, dude, you know I'mnot gonna lie.
Actually, before we had anyradlers, right, if you just said
, hey, let's do a shandy episode, I'd have been like I don't

(40:25):
know about that.
So I do think that the radlerkind of opened up my mind a
little bit to at least tryingsome of these and, like I said,
I was pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
Yeah, I'll keep my eye open to see if I can find
some more variety packs of these.
Yeah, yeah, but, like you said, not many breweries have stepped
into that arena to begin with.
Right, so there might beonesies, twosies, so this would
be our third variety packs.
We did Sam Adams, yep, lioneys.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
And then Sagatuck, and they've actually all been
pretty decent.
Yep, you know, and, like I said, we've.
I do enjoy the fact that we'rebranching out a little bit and
trying some of this other stuff, because you know well, we know
fall and winter is coming andthen we're going to get right
back into.
You know what we know whatwe're talking about, but yeah, I
was impressed.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Yeah, yeah, I was impressed.
Yeah, I mean for never.
I mean because these aredefinitely different than the
beers we tried before fromSagatuck, yes, and they did a
really good job.
Yep, I mean, I would take anyone of those four.
I mean my scores are similar, all right together, and just, I
think the fruit was what kind ofthrew me for a loop on the
Linies, right.
Not that I'm not opposed to thefruit, it's just I'm not a big
fan of it, so right.
That's where all my scores area little lower for that one,

(41:34):
just because.
But the sagatuck kudos.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
Good job they did.
They did good job, so cool.
Well, hey, I guess, uh, likeyou said, we'll keep an eye out.
We got more summer, yeah, sowe're gonna have to look for
some some other kind of summerbeers if we can find, if we can
find them, otherwise we're gonnahave to, yeah, do something
else darn.
So we'll, uh, we'll figure thatout, we'll keep trying, we'll
keep trying.
Uh, you know, at the end here,I guess you know one thing last

(41:57):
week we uh lost a couple ofpretty big, uh, nationwide
people oh, yes, you know, uh.
So we're just gonna say, youknow, rest in peace.
Ozzy and hulk yes, uh, you know.
And look, because last week wehad hulk's real american beer.
Yes, we did.
You know, kind of crazy howthat worked crazy.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
He was on the crazy, he's on the crazy train.
Yeah, there you go there you go.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
Well, hey, jim, thanks for bringing.
Thanks for bringing thesagatuck and finding that that
was.
That was really good, I'mimpressed.
Thanks for sitting down andtrying these shandies that we're
have never really been big fansof, but, like I said, I think
the rattler has kind of turnedus a little bit to where we at
least can stomach them.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Yes, you know, and I don't think they're too bad.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
Oh boy, uh-oh, uh-oh.
That means we've got to keepdrinking.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Here you go, buddy.
All right, cheers, everybodyCheers.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
