This week we speak with Dr Lizzie Crawford and Professor Tariq Aslam about their company Clin-e-cal and how 'Gamification' is changing the way in which children (and adults) can be encouraged to not only adhere to their pescribed medication or treatment but also have fun and enjoy the experience.
Lizzie is CEO of Clin-e-cal and has been involved in the development of early stage technologies for more than a decade, and Professor Tariq Aslam is the Founder of Clin-e-cal and also Professor at the University of Manchester and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
Lizzie and Tariq also share some great insights into what it is like working in a start up focused on child health solutions.
Clin-e-cal uses its patented Sound Response technology to develop apps to provide real-time feedback to inhaler users & facilitate remote disease management. With thousands of downloads, they're on a mission to help the world’s 500m asthma & COPD sufferers.
