The Caps are not playing their best hockey but luckily Alexander Ovechkin, the Greatest Goal Scorer of All Time, is in peak shape and has finally shattered the NHL all time goal scoring record. It's a surreal moment as a hockey fan and an even bigger moment for us Capitals fans. A record no one thought was within reach has finally been taken down by your very own Alexander Ovechkin. Madness.
It's been incredible watching what Ovi has done for the Washington Capitals and for DC and hockey at large. We're truly lucky to be a part of this time in history.
