We hope you liked our last episode where we discussed the Montreal vs. Washington matchup for the first round. Big thanks to Habs Nightly for coming on and giving us a great preview of the series.

The Capitals started off winning 2 close games in DC but then dropped game 3 in Montreal which was expected. The boys got their act together in Game 4 though with a convincing 3rd period stand that secured them a 5-2 victory. Wednesday they are back in the Nations Capital to play game 5 with only 1 game to win to move onto the next series.

Beyond the exciting Caps first round, there's a ton of other news around the league about the teams who are currently in the playoffs and the teams who didn't make it firing coaches and even general managers.
