And that's where you will find podcasting. Mmm. That's the home
As long as your back don't hurt man
I'm up back her, you know, you wake up the wrong way your back kind of
Kind of get a hold of you, bro. I don't ever wake up the right way

(03:08):
It's a lifestyle I'm always popping out of bed sometimes what fucking
Are you feeling any lightning boats in your back, you know like on the
The commercials you got lightning boats going in there. I didn't even like that
It's just like it's like when I it's like when I sleep right my uh my vertebrae
It get like it get like super glued together spinal. Yeah, I broke my back. You mean by that your back is broken

(03:34):
What a vertebrae or or what partial spinal?
Like spinal bro, I'll be trying to I'll be trying to like bend over and come myself
So what you need to do is you need to go get you one of them Japanese cut so it's straight down
Unrolling late backwards. Don't move a muscle sleep still

(03:55):
That's you need to do no
No, I bet it I bet it
I just got a new bed for the first time in my life and it's it's here
One of them pillow top beds
No
And and felt the pillow top there before it's so soft

(04:19):
I mean check you ever have a pillow top bed. I'm telling you
Change your wife. Yeah. Yeah, I've been on some uh
then I guess a few months ago, I was like looking for bed throwing down like
Nfm
You know like a brass for Fransom or and I was like looking through they got some like mad expensive mattresses that were that were just

(04:45):
Like the book like I can lay down to it like you lay down and it was like a three four course like a meal for your
Real body, you know
How to see it main course and dessert was served with a fine line you said
You look at it. It's $5,000. You like I don't know

(05:09):
My bad job
We didn't come here to talk about beds, but we did come here to talk about what some anime that you could watch
Sometimes when you go in the bed sometimes when you not going to bed depends on what you want to do. I'm so tired of
the goddamn
Filler there's no reason that when I watch Naruto

(05:30):
I need to watch this many filler episodes and I feel like it's the same with other shows too
no, it was not the only culprit but
The filler is it's mainstream shows the filler is out of control bleach stuff like that
Come on, I can ball dragon ball. They ain't say

(05:51):
It's the filler is out of control. That's that's why I'm standing there with a lot of it nowadays
I would say one piece, but I ain't seen enough one piece to go for a valid, you know, I watched at least
200 episodes one piece and
It's the way it feel maybe it's because it didn't grab me the right way
But it just felt like filler as a whole as a show like there was any moments that I was so drawn in I was just like gang

(06:19):
This is good or man the next episode
That may be wrong. I know so I want these fans out there. I might be hurting your heart, but I just don't feel that
You know the one piece even the one piece fans and I know so you got to get the episode like 500 before you get good
I'm not about to do that
500 episodes before it's like worth my time

(06:42):
Why why would we have the most many episodes would be worth our time board so you prize up a store one
Why I want 100 episodes you supposed to be fit episode 50. I'm supposed to get
A important moment this a milestone in your episodes. I need to fill it right here, man, but I don't get that

(07:06):
From Borita, oh Borita don't get good so like episode 100 like literally in that ballpark
Yeah, I'm no I think I got like a
like
Maybe like a mid 60s, right and I got that point I had caught up. You know what I mean? So I was gonna go to love watching like week to week
But I just never watched it again. Oh, so many hamburgers and video games and trains

(07:33):
That's my problem board though
All right, where was the techno like the technical elite
They have earbuds
Kind of it wasn't even like high quality earbuds. They had like some Amazon buds and then
They go into by time Borita was born what we didn't went by

(07:57):
But how many years is that we said 10 like he got his board top
Well, he's in the he's in the Academy, right, right means it has to be like what is it like is it 12?
I think it's something like that
like from the end of the Ninja War tomorrow, so he's saying it's been about like

(08:18):
10 to 15 years possibly
Broly
Yeah, let's call it 15 bro. I that'd be my guess cuz cuz Naruto really I mean develop a lot like bro
Bro was like has like
Visual signs of like right then like a whole new yeah
Okay 15 years don't sound like too big of a I mean it doesn't sound as bad when it's put that way

(08:46):
But at the same time that's why I feel that much you can't have some janky earbuds and then you got like a ps4
I'm doing a whole bunch of things that I just don't really understand how

(09:06):
You got buildings they got buildings they went from huts
They got like buildings
And like
Social media
Like sweet they got news
They got news reporters like
Man, I'm gonna switch before I gotta switch. That's crazy. I still don't I never had a switch

(09:30):
Okay, I'm big for my heart. Oh man. All right, I guess board toes in a hot seat
What we got for y'all is running debate we got three rounds of
Debate coming up for y'all I pause because I had a brain cramp, but that's okay

(09:52):
I'm gonna represent the old anime because I'm the old head
You know sometimes they call me grandpa much grandpa grandpa much, you know, you know
Blurs back my day. I understand you don't understand nothing
You got your instant chats and all your goddamn face. Believe it blacks. I don't understand back in the day

(10:12):
That's when it was really going on
None of the goddamn jiu-jitsu bleach. None of that stuff. I
We had Pikachu Goku and Sailor Moon good old fundamentals to raise a family on
None of that weird old
Flying hair color changing stuff except the Super Saiyan

(10:35):
Yeah
Oh
Just the first one
Oh, no, we're happy after all that. We're oh no colors started changing a lot more than I expected them to
I kind of like

(10:57):
I just feel like it should have just started off as red and they
I don't know. I think the naming is what got me more so annoyed. I guess
The name is what got me annoyed
That's
Why J you know what I mean?

(11:18):
Ssj. Well, it's your son the Japanese
Because that's saying and Japanese is sage
Oh, yeah, all right knowledge from fucking grandpa lunch
But I feel like this they just could have named it more so settle going super saying blue super saying and none

(11:45):
And none Super saying guy didn't have to be that
They just could have called it guy saying guy
Because he still look base form his hair in Super Saiyan in God mode. It's just regular hair
It's just red. So it's just God mode and then Super Saiyan guy
And that's when you go blue

(12:08):
Then they added too much they did too much
It's that simple it did turn to a mouthful, you know ss gg ss
Right
What's the other G?
Question for you the viewers
Sg ss
What ss gss

(12:29):
Super well Super Saiyan God
Okay, yeah, I hate it too many G's. Uh, yeah, I was about to say I don't I remember no two G transformation
All right, anyways in round one
Round one
Full metal alchemist

(12:50):
versus
Demon slayer
I'm beholden down full metal alchemist and explaining why full metal alchemist
Is
better
Allegedly allegedly a legend
And also you need to check out all these shows that we're talking about
That's what I need to do. Also, you need to subscribe

(13:13):
Go and subscribe to us. Please
We subscribe to your channel if you got a channel to share love everybody to share that love
Full metal alchemist
I got full metal alchemist with the action
just
The choreography and all these fights you can see the you see in every move and every move they make

(13:37):
It's not some of that dragon ball z
It's not one person doing one thing and then they show the other screen of somebody else doing one thing
It's like both characters on screen fighting and reacting to each other
and
I'll say it's like that for both full metal alchemist as well for the brotherhood and the regular one

(13:58):
or the original right and
Yeah
All right
I'm gonna give I'm gonna give full metal his flowers right when I say that like
I enjoyed that
The whole time right all right the whole time both like like both uh

(14:25):
I don't even know what you even call that like uh
I don't know like the like like like the original and the continuation like I'm not sure what the proper
version to be for the other ones that is the adaptation of the manga
The mama
The first one was just like this guy can original story of it

(14:47):
And then they expect to the actual
So the second time
Okay. All right. Well anyway, both of them
Sick. Oh, yeah. All right. That should really have my attention
However, however
Um
actually
They can't it can't it can't bro. It can't touch the choreography in um

(15:12):
In
Demons layer
Here bro here. Okay. All right. First of all, it's
It is just
It is absolutely beautiful, bro
I mean just like just the art style right alone how everything is just so waving
And elegance like extravagant, bro like like just with the uh

(15:38):
The graphics, right? And then when you go into the um
The choreography, right?
Man
it's
Because it's like maybe doing like maybe doing a lot of like real like
Like real fast lethal type of plays, right? But

(15:58):
Like both the attacks and the um
And the um like like, you know, like the the defenses, you know, I mean like them avoiding or whatever. It's also
So pinpoint elegance, right? You get that type of stuff with um,
Swordsmanship with swordsman fights and stuff like that, right? Especially like with the hot shoe or in any upper rank, um demons

(16:21):
No, bro come on, bro
I'm saying this
They do got some good fights in there, but
I know they try to do they do a little bit of that camera twerking too that one punch man like to do
To make it seem like a lot is going on at times
Not saying that they don't be actually doing it, but they they've been making that camera twerk too

(16:44):
They definitely do
I see that hold on a bit
I'm just seeing all that and
I'm just not to take away from what they're doing, but hold my alchemist. No got any of that. It's all raw uncut
It's like you kind of watching this side line. How do you do it? The camera?

(17:07):
They be throwing the one they over there
and
Yeah, they got some good choreography, but
A lot of it is that animation is just newer. So it make it look a little bit better
What my alchemist was if they had that same paint job, it'd be
The same
It'd be the same argument. I would like to think just because both my office was ahead of his time for what it was brought to the table

(17:33):
Bro, if full middle alchemist had that had that had that art style
Boy, that would have been
That's what he was saying. Just from the levels. It's just and this is why I'm gonna take this
This is gonna be my my juggler for why I think the action for my alchemist. I mean, all right
It's more going on with the fights with demon slayer

(17:56):
it is visually nice, but
Even the creator said that fire all that water and stuff. That's not actually happening. That's just visually there. So
You know, actually fire bending or water bending while you fight in it's just visually is nice
It's the same thing with uh

(18:17):
My hero category when uh, deku
Goes full cowling that green no one else actually sees that that's just for the viewer. That's not actually happening
Bro, what no, there's no
No way that's back. All right. Yeah. No, bro. That's like their whole thing
That's like the biggest draw to the anime as a whole. Yeah all of this shit that doesn't exist

(18:44):
And that's that's my that's my thing right there. So
They got elements
You know, why they got that's why business is cause it's still the fighting style. It's still the water style. It's still
So, but when you got full of alchemist, you actually got a ice alchemist. This dude was about the
brains the entire country

(19:06):
Or at least the central of the country
Just because
Of his ideals. So it's a lot more
It's the greatest scale of what's going on. So it makes the fights I feel a bit more interesting
I'm never walking demon slayer yet
Um, that just bro, that killed so much for me. What do you get? What do you mean?

(19:28):
What do you mean?
I'm gonna take your heart a blade if you can't even use in fire, bro
Okay, okay. This is so bad. I just I thought you knew man ruin my life, bro
Oh, yeah character development

(19:53):
All right, what you got
With character development
I'm gonna feel like we got I have the edge of the full malchemist because it's a complete story
so
There's that problem right there, but even not even look at it from that perspective. I think there's

(20:13):
Still just so much growth from the brothers from them having issues that they have the
co-play as kids
Like fake kids dealing with the level of things that they're going through
abandonment
Dispression
in
This placement because one of them is

(20:34):
Yeah
One of them can't even go to sleep or feel hungry
and
The only way that was even possible is because his brother gave away his arm and his leg
And card with his own blood into his suit armor and beg for his brother
So it is

(20:55):
It's definitely some uh, that's a problem for a lot of trauma
And if we even go to the original
of full malchemist
When sloth was created
That one in that version was to look just like they mom
and so
There's more trauma. Yeah, that was that was dirty. That was so dirty. Uh, man, he's playing dirty game

(21:22):
and so
Just from how they overcome all that to get to where they get to at the end
I ain't gonna spoil it even though you only got five to nine years for a spoiler there, but I'm gonna do it to y'all
But it's time
Y'all shouldn't know a lot changes towards the end
And if you watched the original

(21:43):
The movies all are with the original brotherhood and those movies are separate
But the og format I've commenced in those movies are all together both of those movies
Uh, Congress, Shambhala and star Miko Miko Miko
Eiko Aiko
What they got two movies

(22:05):
But I thought one of them was like the philosopher stone and like
Uh, one of them was when they fight Hitler
And then the one after that is that philosopher stone
Uh, I believe
Pretty much
Like but not they went through a time portal and it was in the actual like war

(22:26):
Like what were we gonna tell them?
They was fighting Hitler
Factually
You said amen
And government
This penalties from the original series hold it over to that if you know what I mean with

(22:47):
Certain characters in their vision
Yeah, he was still dealing with that in there
No, I got it. I don't got it. I just didn't try to be discreet but

(23:08):
He needed somebody to be his eyes
The only girl who can do it the job
I feel the heat of passion from him
He said come on bro Mustang

(23:33):
Oh
The heat of passion
What you got
I'd say
How's your own Mexico?
Right, they got their trauma here. Okay for sure. They're coming. This is what like bro
I mean, so what they especially just been in poverty the entire life

(23:55):
So what up twin? What up twin? But uh
Like they got um
My bro just gonna leave go get some uh
He uh, I mean like like sell wood or sell cool. Yeah, you have to go get some money. Yeah, you know

(24:16):
He came back for the fam. Yeah, you know
But like amen. Hey, hey, don't even worry mom. I got this one
So, okay, cool. Cool. Cool bet that came back mom did dad did sister
Did no
Is that the sisters? Ah
You have a big family

(24:39):
Man
He told us um, huh
highly traumatic
now his baby sister
now his baby sister
it's like
Been to get murked
Oh fluff enough
um

(25:00):
And uh, he slept through a stick
Tell him about the most powerful demon to ever exist. He's talking about
What's up, right? Hey
How you doing?
Hey, so like
You know
That's something he's gotta overcome, right? Mm-hmm. I don't

(25:22):
My problem is
I'm pro on this
But I don't think they had more character development did then the brothers did in
Hold it off
Too long with some of the development. I feel like
with the training arts

(25:44):
It's literally just training
Like I don't feel like I'm getting any meat and potatoes while they're training, you know, even our ruto while they were training they still
Had to do was I was
I was training this other things still happen. It don't just gotta be just that
Yeah, so I mean like of course physically and like fundamentally, you know, I mean like and like

(26:11):
I don't know like scale why do you know what I mean? It's developing a lot, you know, I mean and um
Obviously nezuko becomes more developed
I don't know. Um, like, you know, learn to be able to speak to learn to feel like, you know
Be cool with her with her with her gag out, you know what I mean? And like, uh, she got her transformation and
You know, she's straight. She conquered the sun. You know, that was pretty uh, she's having more development than everybody else

(26:37):
You know, and I guess he figured out his power, you know, he's like
Fire one
I got the name of it too. Yeah. All right. Yeah
They got a bunch problem with the name and it's the name

(26:58):
Oh
Cool
Like developing as a
Person but it's his overall challenge is kind of just

(27:21):
Just different. It's it's a lot simpler, right? I don't have to like develop
But there's so many other characters in none of them. I feel like I really developed an exception as a cop
Like I feel like they all
Zenitsu that's my boy give miss clap
Give a miss clap because he was such a little
You know

(27:43):
He's still big whiny, but you can get in his element
He didn't even know what he like like deck. He's like almost untouchable with it. You know what I mean? Like
Like he he a whole problem
Oh
And then he has to write this annoying for me because it's actually annoying
It's like black clover

(28:04):
But he yelling all the time. I spent a yelling all the time. He's like
I got it. You like yeah
Hit it almost like I got it. You don't want to fight
Like you say you a demon slayer good god, right you signed up for this business. It's like what you do like
Yeah, but then like once you decide to actually like do something about it. Oh, yeah, like bro. It's really doing something

(28:30):
You like that when you ready. Hmm
I just don't want to have to wait for half the art for that moment though
yeah, I
I think she was I feel like the the hosier kind of came is developed
As they could really as they could really beat you know, I mean like for the most part they can hone they can hone in
You know and they skills and such but but they've already, you know developed their

(28:55):
Their their style and their techniques and kind of where they wouldn't be. Yeah, exactly. You know what I mean?
Like they just kind of already there. So I was like, I don't feel like there's too much
potential outside of the original like
Like cats like uh like like nediko tanjiro
um
and uh

(29:15):
Him
You know in the comments you're standing you remember we need hope
Yeah, that's what I feel with demons like but they take it to long for you to be like three four seasons in
if you like
For example, they don't like episode what 30 40, you know, skate
You know skate. Yeah
But they're like 40 ish

(29:37):
The episode 40, you know, what's going on the full of alchemist
And so that's kind of what I feel with it like in episode 40
that's like the ballpark when
they're either like they're in breaks
And they the winter and all that stuff. That's like that ballpark episodes and stuff. So

(29:58):
All the stuff that happened all the way by that part
Is I take it for the episode. It's not saying I haven't had it but
Just be a little bit more
And that ties me into the story
Unless you got something else okay for development
I will say that it does it does kind of progress a little slower, but I would argue that that's kind of necessary

(30:24):
Right. How do they have a structure?
It's structured differently than a show like for my alchemist. Yeah, well, I feel like it's like a lot of those like
You know kind of going out of their way to
end up help to display, you know, the exceptional character
You know like tangerine or like, you know, the heart of the sister, you know, like that's kind of it helps to like solidify

(30:48):
my development with this thing
But he'd be developing long-term lasting relationships with people that can actually make a thing different. Okay
That's that's why I feel like it's necessary to be like earning the respect to all the people that's from the one
I really did that and gave us development
Man, not right man. I really took like man like 700 episodes to get the

(31:09):
I mean really not 700 but at least like he's always
That is to all those hundreds of episodes. He was always
Trying to gain the respect and her of the next person all that stuff and he wasn't developing anything wrong that way
except for the same jitsa missing
in
then

(31:30):
Some moments he acted a little bit more richer and then the rest of those moments
No
I'm starting to see a parallel
Yeah, well the issue I'm just not getting as much filler with uh demon slayer, right? They don't got any filler
It's just kind of straight to the point
All right, all right, okay. Here you go. Here's your next point

(31:56):
Form an alchemist story. That's all I'm gonna say
Next story is fire
That's it, huh?
This story form an alchemist got one of the best told stories in anime
Both versions of brotherhood is the real meat potatoes of it

(32:17):
Like the first 10 episodes
Really the first 12 episodes because by episode 12
By episode 12
Hughes is dead already and at that moment it takes off from there

(32:38):
And so
Within that in those 12 episodes you get the the episode with the dude daughter
You get the backstory on them
You get the
Island episode how they have to survive on the island
and figure out what the one is and how always the one and

(32:59):
Yeah
You get some good stuff in there
Bro, I broke I hate trying to go against that anime's I love
I know
It's like all you want to do is it do you bro?

(33:20):
That was like that all I do is like it reminds me a lot of Hunter and
Bullets have been
Like it's a hybrid of both of those to me and
I do like to say a lot
all right
So storyline
I think in essence

(33:41):
It's pretty simple, right?
You know
You know they're just going like they're going to a court to try to take down, you know a big bad, right protect the world, you know
Like a lot of other heads, right?

(34:02):
So like, you know real noble real honorable, right?
But let's try and be the best. Huh? Let's try and be the best. Yeah, it's like
um
A point in demon slayer's paper is that it's like um, you don't have uh

(34:23):
You don't have too much plot armor
Yeah, right. I can't appreciate that. Yeah, like like Hunter will be getting stomped out
Bro everybody is stomped out
Yeah, it's like and people will be dying or people getting permanently disfigured and just be like taken out of the mix
Yeah, you know what I mean? Like and I like that level of realism. It's not like I like the spider

(34:43):
It was high six. I like a good show that has high six, right?
like, yeah, so like while it seems well, it seems simple. It's like the
The scenario that they find themselves in you know what I mean? Like the uh the other um
like uh
variables right the unforeseen variables like turns it

(35:06):
Turns it complex, right? Yeah, and it's like and it's like
Emotional, you know, I mean it all feels very it all feels very very authentic
You know what I mean? Like, mm-hmm
So I don't know I do make me it there's been like several episodes that had me feel like the type of way with it like
They go to a story, you know
so I feel like it's um

(35:27):
I feel like it's a show that's really
Maybe it's not like the craziest storyline, but it's one that's easy to get like
In
Yeah, it's like it's like it's like you want it's like you want to be a part of it
You know what I mean? We haven't had a samurai show in so long
Especially not a good one bro like

(35:50):
Man, it's just so much I've just I've tried to watch bro. I can't get I can't get through like
Like the first season I was like, maybe you could like no, maybe you could grow into something
But I'm like you're so rough with it
I've tried I went on a hunt and tried to find some of these shows. There's some out there. I could show you some but it's
this
But

(36:12):
We'll keep it moving now
That's up the other side which one is the best
We sent our piece with it
But just know both shows y'all need to check out
Yeah, and both deserve they and both deserve their flowers. All right, let's not let's not get it twisted
All right
Next we're gonna get to the drama round

(36:38):
Death Note versus
Promise Neverland
Now leading up to this
I
Haven't heard any info on how he feels about promise neverland. So this is all
Blind to how I know how he feels about the show

(37:01):
So I'm gonna do it. There's some deeper trail right now now
We're gonna break it into the same categories again
But instead of action we're gonna go into
Thriller levels, I guess right right right

(37:23):
What's done with character development character development I would say
admittedly
Light is the same as he was at the beginning as he was at the end of the show
Honestly
Is I always say there's like things that he like the version at the beginning wouldn't have done that

(37:45):
I fight the other version would have done but at the same time when I think about the grand scheme of things
I don't think that may be true because
everything he done was
so calculated that
I don't feel like what he did was out of reason that that he wouldn't have done it because
Even for a lot of those things he was doing

(38:09):
That's why he was able to get away with it because he was still gonna play that role
as if
He still was going to the same facade
Brandy he was
You don't think so no not not for the second season big dog
The second season got big sloppy broke out big sloppy and that's the whole reason he got taken that way

(38:30):
he got sloppy but
It was because
He knew it was the betrayal was coming
Closer that's also it. There's a lot like he knew that all right
I'm about to be getting caught because the steps he had to take to get to where he got that's
That's really what already jeopardized him if he didn't have to

(38:55):
Really
If he never ran into me to study he would have been fine
for the whole grand scheme of things but the fact that
Because she's the lid the more people who knew is what is what jeopardized it and the fact that she knew
She's the one who initially got them all caught up
because he's still her phone

(39:16):
And then when he tried to call her
He was like yo, and he was like why you got her phone?
Like the whole she let all the bread crumbs to it. She let the fingerprints on the she said a finger on the
Fingerprints on the tapes that she melted
hairs was left
It was like he got caught only because of her

(39:38):
Listen nothing can be amicus's phone
Period
All right, I gotta let you know
like
She's innocent
All right, you know why?
Why because she is unstable and just so

(40:01):
Fiercely loyal and aggressively obsessed with her man and therefore she can do no wrong
I do not care if it's proven and got him killed. She is innocent in my eyes
I'm just gonna put that out there

(40:26):
Oh, man, but
That's uh
And then the people around them
I wouldn't even I can't really say that because they're all grown
Like it's uh with the being a more mature anime
It's not to say that mature anime don't have characters who can grow but when you have a cast of those mature
Animates all over the 30s the chance of growth with them is pretty small like pretty slight

(40:53):
The only one who did grow was the youngest Ivo Motsuli because
He's the youngest who could grow along with
I guess his sister
L was the same person he was in Tide Town
Only thing he did was get more humble at the end
If that was all in within a moment

(41:17):
But yeah, it's not the argument here to develop their park more. It's just
It just wasn't there
well, so it's not even that it wasn't there. It's just that
It was always there
It was it was it was always like just off-rip. They were so developed
That there just wasn't

(41:38):
There wasn't there wasn't even a go with it, you know, he's like so you just maxed off in the beginning
Right, that's pretty much it like he didn't have to learn any detective work. He's already he already got it. Mm-hmm
Well, he
They learned each other right if that that's like that that's a whole
Definal conversation it's on oh, yeah, and a definite conversation you can get development, but in the grand scheme of things

(42:04):
No, no market now
All right, so then
Yeah, I think I'm taking this one. I think I'm taking this category because oh, yeah, that's like that developed me one person
Promise that right
uh
Off-riff like you got

(42:25):
It's the age though. There might be an age
This uh, this kind of seeing enemies
they are kind of born
with
Like genius level IQ. Yeah, you know at least the few of them the main cast
right, um
But they didn't have any uh

(42:47):
Any real life, you know practical application, right, you know what I mean, um
So you smile. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was uh
Yeah, it was brought up in a you know like uh
Uh
The birds

(43:07):
Yeah, that's it right there
Yeah, it's still not why development out of it though. Just
I'm the man with the interact with
other kids
I mean like yeah, but that most I could give us
Before before the realization the far the most they could get out of it as far as far as cognitive
uh, you know development or

(43:30):
Or you know practice right was uh or stimulation. There was uh
tag
And even then it was always just
I guess you got that much room in eminent people and people they were just norman though
I was just norman. I mean it was just
Not me but all the other guys out there could play though if I could play with that many people

(43:54):
I probably wouldn't be as like
Quite sad. That's what made it so fun in uh elementary
I don't know if it's worth it
You know, it makes you good as so many uh people for you
Yeah, I had a little bit of school for you. Oh, yeah, sure
Point to having females

(44:14):
Sorry
We just taken one
It is tag bags
Bad tag bags
All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Um
uh
But yeah, so

(44:35):
They had to cut they had to keep formulating new strategies, right and develop me mentally like further to try to get out
Right, and it would get foiled and then it's horrible and then
I don't want to explain this there was obviously developing but the entire thing was just like a learning process
Like the entire anime with them figuring out how to like yeah
Adapt and survive and uh, it was a group overcome like yeah

(45:01):
That's all right. Well, let's get to the story next
Story elements
I got death note
because I mean
That's the way the story was told complexity the depth the different perspectives
At the same time still keeping the real some people would say wasn't as real

(45:26):
Just because they don't like the hard to be good at the end time or nothing
but the ability of deduction is
pretty insane
It's something we can look at things and just
break it all the way apart
and so
All those things tied together with the setting for it the way the story was told and

(45:52):
With the characters that they chose to make the story around
Like ellen light
It was a good chess match of a show definitely
Oh, it was a good chess match. Oh my god. It was
It's one of them shows. I wish I could go back and watch my first time. Mm-hmm
Literally, it was if it was one and I could go back and experience for the first time again

(46:15):
It'd probably be that I'm not even gonna hold you. I got so many shows
I don't know
Psycho pass. Oh like
Whose story is better? Hmm one might ask
Hmm
I'm feeling the tone

(46:36):
All right
How do you choose to look at this? Well, honestly
Can you really break it down?
They're very similar stories
but
Like I think that there was a core concept
that's very similar
How so?

(46:56):
All right
So basically
um
you know
you have a
You have to hear right in the villain, right?
and it's both
you know, they're both
Like a like a psychological

(47:18):
kind of thriller, right? So it's all like mental warfare, right? So, uh
They're each in each of them, right?
each opposing entities since it's not only one person and one of them is um
um
constantly like
Like I don't know. That's like they're both constantly strategizing against

(47:40):
I guess the other person, you know, trying to say making their plays trying to gain ground and like uncover like
You know new little truths like to get some kind of right, right?
So really, they're very simple, but
yours is like
yours is like with the police
and
like detectives it reminds us like

(48:05):
Like like baby farms and demons
You know what I'm making like?
There is a very it's a very it's a very similar concept, but
Uh
But the problem is never like just a little darker with it
What do you mean? What do you mean eat babies? Like that's cool. That's fun

(48:28):
It's like what do you mean?
us
us the victims raise
Like breed
breed kids
to feed to them
Because we want to control their diet. Yeah, that is why you're back next month

(48:53):
Man, yeah, we got Timmy for you next
Yeah, Timmy for you next he 11 he almost right don't even worry about it. That is ready to give it to him
In the same way, I'd say both of the endings kind of suck
Yeah, like you feel me like like both indeed like what that's exactly it uh death note and

(49:18):
Promise never land right?
loved almost the whole
series and then the finale is
incredibly disappointing
I'm like
Now I was doing good for so long. Why why'd you just stop crying in the last episode? It's like
You know what I mean y'all could have been amazing

(49:39):
But let's figure out which one now has the best
thrill
Death note was an incredible ride just because
Hmm
everything really
It set up the twist the times

(50:02):
It was so good
They landed bumpy, but they took off
They took off and they was flying. It was flying beautifully
But then they tires didn't deploy when it came down for the landing and the plane flipped over
And it crashed and burned

(50:23):
Big plays
Big plays
Oh
But I did enjoy death note. It was it has some good twists
And I would say has some good twists and turns
It it absolutely did there was

(50:50):
There was um
There was a great
It was a great
There was a lot of episodes that genuinely had me so captivated like I was like I was there uh
Just just racking my brain feeling like I was in it with them trying to figure out the next play
Like I was like, I was like, I bet that's not even going after

(51:12):
I'm playing this game too
I'm like trying to
Yeah
Like what is going on?
Yeah, however
However
I will say
That uh, promise never mind. I did a real good job at that too, right? Yeah, I was having a watch that for the first time all over again like

(51:36):
there was
Probably at least four or five points in that
In that in the anime where they hear me with someone had me in the theater. Yeah, like that was just like oh, hey
Just by the way, damn
It's so much like moments. Oh word. I was like, oh
The way they told the story was

(51:57):
I think they told the story in a way that
Would uh, I wouldn't say it was better than death, you know, but it was just on par with that type of story
Because it made it feel like somebody was watching them
Like it's they'll be talking somebody and it's like you look at them behind the bookcase. Mm-hmm. It is just
It made those moments so tense. Yeah. No. Yeah, that was it was really good. It's really impressive like

(52:22):
Uh crazy. Yeah, and like
Yeah, and like
Yeah, I don't know. I think they're from the nanny mom and everything
Yeah, and
I think they did so I think they did such a good job of normal
They did such a good job of normal. They killed it. They definitely did they did for
Even aw man, we can't spoil the problem seven and it's not within the range yet. That's true

(52:49):
But but it's a good job. Yeah
Yeah
Man
Yeah, they got some good handmakers in there
I mean heavy here. It's like
Like even this the moment of the realization of the demons. Oh man

(53:11):
Folly in there
Bro that escalated so quick that so quick. I mean, sorry so fast. Oh my hey you forgot. Oh
Man, I was like so they're not people
That she's talking to
Just the realization is like
like
That moment was just they they didn't know they was doing they didn't get down

(53:36):
Oh man, man, I
Thought it was over. I thought it was over for them. It was gonna look under that
I don't believe it's gonna look under that time for all I was like
Because I was like they didn't they not develop yet. They they it's tripped and they it's geek. Yeah
It's days days. I mean they get pressed under that day and they go think they're like
Man, oh man. They they they did even this little yeah, but he smelled them when you smell them. I was like, oh no

(54:02):
Oh
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh
Yeah, that's the inspiration. He said yeah, I was that one. That's a good one. I know how we know but y'all should go watch
Promise Neverland. Yep. Yeah, you should when it with these recommendations

(54:25):
All right, so when is this the debate this last round? Is this a recommendation for we hit y'all with some of the good stuff?
The recommendation I chose for you that you need to go watch is angel beats
Angel beats and I'm gonna give you the three reasons action slash thrill level

(54:48):
They gotta start the finish 13 episodes. You gonna love it. I mean
You got good fights and it's not necessarily an action-heavy show, but the action in the show is what gives you
Okay, the character development
Everybody develops
Not a single person is the same as it was at the end of the episode

(55:11):
And I mean that
Excuse me. The story
This is the show that my top five for a reason. I'm talking about a story
You got kind of updated like comedy and stuff like that
So the stuff they're talking about is it's actually funny. It's not the usual anime humor

(55:35):
It's some good stuff
You need to buy a change of beats. You won't be the same after you finish it. Nobody ever is
You won't be thinking the real real thinking your life when you finish it
Y'all see angel beats. Let them know it's gonna change them

(55:56):
Where are that?
Probably don't crunch you
Rather
My recommendation right?
I'm not gonna hold you
It's not gonna change your life
Right
But it's unique
All right
So basically

(56:18):
It's called uh
It's called Grimgar
All right
Ashes
Huh?
Ashes
No
Okay
No, so yeah, it's called Grimgar and um

(56:40):
Um, you know, I mean it's an easy card, you know, other ashes
Huh?
Grimgar and the ashes
Look at the full name
Sorry, I've seen a lot of anbony's

(57:02):
Let me I want you to be wrong not because I want you to be wrong but because I'd like to have a valid fucking
A valid contribution here. Hold up. Hold up. I haven't seen this show. It's a pretty good show
Bye
All right

(57:23):
So as I was saying, all right
You need to watch solo level
I haven't seen that. All right. All right. All right. So yeah, you might have been heard me before, you know
Like I know I know
I know I told you we was going to train chess

(57:43):
and like
We started training less, you know
It's cool. It's like that sometimes, you know
Anyways
You don't like that
This this is show the community going crazy for
I heard I mean crazy. Okay
uh
If we do a reaction video

(58:04):
of a fight on here
I'm told
crazy action
credible animation
uh
Yeah mad character development
Like bro just like like like bro just gets
Bro just gets
Bro gets cracked fast. We got reaction videos coming. We're out there watching solo level man. You need to subscribe

(58:27):
to an A Wooden Ski. We got the discord the discord gonna start popping
We might start doing some watch parties. We're all watching together
and all squad up and watch solo level. Hmm
Have to come apart of the legacy
That's pretty much it
We have uh more but um
We're gonna press on time today. Yeah

(58:51):
Yeah, we're gonna do a part two
Not this one, but we got more episodes coming for you. We just getting back in the groove
We got picture up on the wall a lot of things have been changing
We got gaming videos coming for you the retro wave power hour
We got the dragon balls these sparking videos coming out

(59:13):
It's about the time of it to an anime and they tune in
We got
Froggy right here in the flesh
He got the he ain't even
Been gaming in these last few years. We got the changes life
Next up on the retro wave power hour. We're gonna play a co-op game between me and him

(59:34):
And it's gonna be crazy
We're gonna put cheat codes in
Yeah cheat codes up down left right left right. Y'all gonna experience this with me
For the first time
His retro if it's younger audience in here with us
Or maybe even if even if it's the old heads that just really wasn't fucking with her

(59:57):
Fluffering
Like that before uh
No, we could learn something together. Oh no
So if you don't forget we got a tournament round up episode
We're gonna be knocking out some tournaments for episodes that we haven't done. This is gonna be a big
tournament episode
We just kind of going over all these things

(01:00:21):
We have one for this episode, but we got to tweak it a bit and so
Just hang around with us. Get ready. It's about to be crazy because the goal is all these tournaments happen
It is gonna be a tournament of all the winners
And so it'd be crazy. We got Goku fighting a theme song

(01:00:44):
Things like that, um
One thing we always got close out with because it's one thing that y'all should always hold dear and near to y'all
is the peace and positivity because you need that people are going and
What's one way to stay peace and positivity?
That it makes sense. Well, what's when they say peaceful and positive? Let me tell y'all how I'll tell you how first

(01:01:07):
Let me close the book in because you need to know how with the book closed
first go donate go donate to your local food banks
I work at a food bank promo go donate to your local food banks
Give out food in this time of the year where food insecurity is at uh more
Hmm a more attest to your moment more attest to your time because of the weather and all those things

(01:01:32):
You need to go help out and don't forget to give out and so with that
Don't forget why you giving out your goods and things that you need for your family
You give out that positivity that you need for your soul and go tell somebody
You see them be the best thing they can be you go tell somebody at the gas station. You're beautiful
And your aura is great. You know guys be a girl or a guy it could be anybody

(01:01:57):
You just spreading that peace somebody might be like they have a tough time bring them up bring them up
I don't know what I got. I'm gonna talk to them. All right
All right
then
As far as positivity
right um

(01:02:18):
I ain't got too many hacks for you all right. I feel like
I feel like
I feel like uh
I feel like positivity just in the essence you feel me like
like
That's just a part of the spirit right maybe you just got to tap into that shit however
As far as peace goes, okay

(01:02:38):
I struggle with finding peace a lot right. I think a lot of people do you know, um
I say one thing
That could really help you. It's gonna sound mass simple, right?
Talk to me. Just stop thinking bro
Stop thinking so much. All right, you can feel like

(01:03:00):
You feel things like love joy, you know what I mean like and you know happiness, right?
Instinct right intuitively you're just in tune to its energy, okay
But when it comes to all of your negative emotions or anxiety or depression, you know what I mean like all of that like

(01:03:20):
Look at that all of that over thinking, you know like fear and all of that
That's that's something that you can only that's something you can only feel through your thoughts
right because
all of it's self-made
Okay, that doesn't exist until you until you bring it into existence benefits. So
If you just trip him bro

(01:03:41):
It's all right
Just let it go if you find yourself stuck in a loop
Man, just stop don't think about what you're thinking about if don't think about trying to think about something else
Just stop thinking let it be
That's it Elsa Elsa said it first

(01:04:02):
You know man
talking to you
All right

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
