Moira White, Curator Humanities, Tūhura Otago Museum, talks to Dr Barb about the fascinating Persian silk samples sent to Tūhura in the 1940’s by the daring Dr Lindsay Sangster Rogers (1902 - 1962). Based in Bagdad after the war Dr Rogers, A Dunedin born surgeon and hero of WWII, sent a variety of antiquities back to the Otago Museum Curator (HD Skinner) whom he had met at Univeristy.
