In this episode, I talk with Shanice Miller and the importance of having systems and processes in place when starting a business, such as setting up a marketing department, launch funnels, and customer service, as well as testing out systems and ensuring that they are communicating with each other.

There are a lot of benefits to documenting processes and tracking progress using project management tools. This makes it easier to nurture your relationships with customers, send out exit surveys, and do regular debriefs.

By taking the time to prepare and plan in advance, successful launches are more likely to occur.

Key takeaways

  • Plan and schedule tasks, such as emails and social media posts, in advance.
  • Test out systems to ensure software and communication between them is effective.
  • Have systems and processes in place when running a business.
  • Communicate with customers to gain timely feedback and make sure they feel valued.
  • Develop an emergency plan in the case of unexpected issues.

Hey, before we get started with today’s episode, I just wanted to quickly let you know that if you DM me the word AUDIT on Instagram (that’s @kenwestgaard), we’ll do a quick 15-minute audit of your launch. And by the end of the audit, you’ll know exactly where to put your focus in order to grow and scale your next launch. So like I said, DM me the word AUDIT on IG. And I’ll talk to you soon.
