Our intrepid band of three waded through another followup to The Fugitive, hoping to find a tighter, more engaging drama. But even the return of Andrew Davis could not save the 1996 lukewarm action vehicle, Chain Reaction. About the only thing that's not lukewarm in this movie is Rachel Weisz when she's contracting hypothermia. Along the way, our hosts discuss strange accents, scientific hocus-pocus, and pour out another one for Ne...

One hard target search has ended, but now another begins! Roger and Susan are covering the sequel-esque movie US Marshals, and this time around intern co-host Todd Kehoe has been promoted to full time host. The three of us follow Sam Gerard and his team of marshals as they hit the road to capture Sheridan, a tow truck driver, escaped prisoner, and maybe a spy? Robert Downey Jr. tags along, because why not. In this episode we discus...

Minute 126 is escorted to the US Marshal's car along with Kimble. The innocent Dr. Kimble is put in the backseat and Sam joins him. Sam takes the cuffs off Kimble and tosses them carelessly towards the front seat. Poole hands Sam an ice pack, which he then hands to the rather beat up Kimble. Kimble just stares at him, and then says he thought that Sam didn't care. Sam tries to claim he doesn't, which is clearly a lie. H...

We begin the denouement of the film in minute 125. Kimble can finally breathe because it's over. Out front of the hotel, the detective stereotypes try to answer questions without admitting their investigation was a complete shambles and incomplete. Cosmo gets wheeled out by paramedics and is going to take some vacation. Team Sam escorts a cuffed Kimble out of the hotel as reporters throw questions at them.

Minute 124 is the climax of the movie, with Nichols popping out behind Sam with a gun, but Sam is saved by Kimble. Sam holds his fire because Kimble has this in hand. He approaches Kimble, and Richard tells him that Nichols and the others killed his wife. Sam says that he knows it, and he's glad, because he needs a rest.

Steamy minute 123 sees Cosmo making his way through the laundry room while Sam explains the plot of the murder. Poor Cosmo takes an I-beam to the face. Sam tells Kimble he is either lying or he's going to shoot him, which sort of mean the same thing? Nichols picks up a gun. Kimble brings a lead pipe to a gunfight. Sam tells Kimble it's time to stop running because this movie is already over two hours.

The shadows are creeping around in minute 122 as Sam tries to track Kimble in the laundry. Kimble sees a hotel laundry worker, who can't hear the evacuation order because of his earphones, watching the goings on through a window. Deputy Sam calls out to Kimble to tell him he has no time, the CPD will shoot him on sight, and that he knows Kimble is innocent and about Sykes.

Minute 121 is much too hot so Deputy Sam wants the CPD kept out of it. He evacuates the laundry, then tells Cosmo to follow him. They begin a game of cat and mouse in the laundry with Kimble looking at shadows, Sam pointing, and Cosmo wrestling with a bit of string.

The laundry is where minute 120 begins, with Nichols hobbling along. Sam and Cosmo race down a stairwell. The elevator door starts to close but at the last second, an arm and bloody hand appear to stop it. Kimble, looking worse than he has since he escaped carbonite-- No, strike that--looking worse than he has since he escaped the train wreck, makes his way into the laundry to play cat and mouse with Nichols. Sam and Cosmo arrive o...

We plunge down an elevator shaft into minute 119, with Nichols crashing into the service elevator while Kimble lands on the roof of it. Sam stops Cosmo from opening fire on the two men and then tells Cosmo to tell him where the elevator goes. Cosmo asks Newman. Newman asks the security guards in the office. Nichols wakes up and stops the elevator. The doors open and he hobbles his way into what looks like the hotel laundry room.

Minute 118 limps across the roof with Nichols, while the heli-cops shoot at Kimble. Sam again orders Newman to call off the helicopter because he doesn't want to get shot by accident, so Newman does tell them to stand down. Now that he is not being shot at, Kimble again tries to catch up with Nichols and is again ambushed. Punches are thrown, Nichols makes another break for it and is tackled by Kimble into a skylight. Rolling down stairs into minute 117, Nichols makes a painful landing then hobbles off. The heli-cops bark orders to stay where you are, put your hands up, etc. Deputy Sam enters the suite where the tussle began and sees the remains of the broken chair before heading out onto the roof too. Newman tells him KImble is on the north end of the roof. Sam wants the helicopter gone, but down below, Detective Stereotype tells his heli-cops ...

Things start to heat up in minute 116 as Nichols is tired of Kimble's tenacity. A tussle follows with Nichols having the upper hand for a while before Kimble plays more dirty and knees him....somewhere. They stumble out of some doors to find themselves on the roof of the hotel. Back in the ballroom, Deputy Sam and his team are escorted by security who give a cabin crew description of the exits in the room. Newman spots Kimble o...

Accusations fly in the ballroom in minute 115. Nichols tries to lead Kimble out of the room but Kimble is hot on his heels, sharing the spotlight (literally) with him. They leave the ballroom as Team Sam still walks through the hotel. Meanwhile, Nichols has finally gotten ahead of Kimble, so when Kimble goes into a room to try and find him, he gets hit over the head with a chair.

Listening to Nichols make Freudian mistakes in his keynote is how we begin minute 114. Kimble wanders through the increasingly disquieted crowd toward the podium and Nichols tries to power on, but eventually has to give up as no one is listening to his sales pitch. He addresses Kimble, who accuses him of dishonesty. Nichols claims Kimble is not feeling well (he is bleeding) and invites his friend to speak at the side of the room. A...

Minute 113 swarms into the hotel with cops and Team Sam entering the lobby. Sam sends Newman to the security office with his walkie talkie. Back in the ballroom, keynote speaker Dr. Nichols is giving his stump speech for Provasic. He gets immediately distracted, though, when he spots a grumpy Harrison Ford, arms crossed, at the back of the room.
