Speaker 1 (00:06):
Hey everyone, it's Erin Anderson with the Erin
Anderson Betrayal TraumaCoaching.
I am super excited that youhave tuned in.
Today.
Let's get talking about how toheal from betrayal trauma.
Welcome to the other side ofthe struggle trauma, how to heal

(00:41):
it and then how to take it anduse it to unlock your mission
and your potential and to use itto live your very best dream
life.
When you're dealing withbetrayal trauma, it can be hard
to know how to heal it, how tostop the pain and to know what

(01:02):
your next steps are to take inyour own life, and these are the
questions that we try to answerhere.
Trauma has the ability to robus of our joy and identity,
which is why it's so miserableto experience.
But with the right tools andwith the right mindset, we can

(01:23):
totally reclaim that joy andeven use this trauma to
strengthen ourselves.
So that way, trauma does notknock us off of our joy again.
Living your dream life shouldbe a non-negotiable, but trauma
tends to try to negotiate thatwith you.

(01:45):
And even though trauma is notsomething that we will
completely ever be free of inour life, the pain is negotiable
.
This is why I created ErinAnderson Betrayal Trauma
Coaching and this podcast isbecause I want my listeners, I

(02:08):
want my clients, to live, trulylive free from the prison that
trauma can put you in.
I want you to live on the otherside of the struggle.
Hey, my loves, welcome back tothe last episode of the other

(02:41):
side of the struggle.
Oh, my goodness, I can'tbelieve that we're actually here
at this point um, kind of sad, honestly, um, but I'm really
excited for what's coming upbecause, um, I really truly am

(03:02):
moving into the boundaryoundaryBoss Babes.
That podcast, by this point, should be up and running in all
of your favorite places, sowherever you're listening to the
other side of the struggle, youshould be able to find the
Boundary Boss Babes podcast aswell.
And the benefit to this, to thenew podcast, like you're going

(03:28):
to learn about, like all typesof relationships and healing
from trauma in this particularpodcast, which is great.
But if you're really ready tostart earning your own money and
taking, like, the informationyou have and shifting it, um,
and changing the way youactually believe about your
relationship so you can createmoney in your life, then the

(03:48):
Boundary Boss Babes podcast isfor you, because that's what
we're going to be focusing on.
I really do have a love forwomen, not only healing from
trauma, but also creating theirown money and creating a life, a
sustainable life, forthemselves and their children.

(04:14):
So here's what I want to say toyou in my last episode.
It's actually about creatingyour own money, because I hear a
lot of times, especially frommoms whose husbands have been

(04:37):
less than faithful or possiblyin abusive situations or in some
way they're being hurt, and Iget this question a lot like I
don't feel, or this, thisobjection, I should say a lot
like I don't feel like I canmove forward because I'm tied to

(05:03):
him financially.
So my loves um, I get whereyou're coming from, okay, uh,
women love feeling taken care ofand I like I love feeling taken
care of too and I love knowing.
But I'll tell you, I loveknowing that I can actually get

(05:25):
and create money more than Ilike the idea of being taken
care of.
Because if something everhappened to my husband you know
whether we ever did divorce orif maybe he died or just maybe
he became disabled I think it'sreally important that women have

(05:51):
their own income streams sothat way, if something like that
ever does happen to theirhusband and their husband's
ability to provide, then we'restill okay and especially, you
need to be able to make your owndecisions.
I know there's a lot of youthat have wanted to work with me

(06:17):
and now Stephanie who's takingover.
You know the title betrayal, trauma, coach and money has been
a big issue for you guys, and Iwant to tell you that number
one come listen to the BoundaryBoss Babes podcast, because
that's really seriously why I'mmoving into that.

(06:37):
Okay, because I know how muchthat is needed, but there are so
many ways for you guys to earnat least $2,000 or more a month
online.
Now, $2,000 a month isn't goingin today's society, isn't going
to do much for you.

(06:57):
I get that.
You might even say that, andyou might even say $2,000 a
month isn't going to give me theability to purchase coaching
and getting out of this, topurchase coaching and getting
out of this, but what I am goingto tell you is this is the age

(07:18):
of making money online.
You can actually thank COVID-19for that, because so many
things actually had to go onlineto be able to operate properly.
There's lots and lots and lotsof online jobs now, so you can
actually still be home with thekids and create some excuse me,

(07:42):
some money.
Some of those things are, andyou can actually find them on
Pinterest and maybe what I needto do is I need to probably
unblock this particular pieceout of my Pinterest.
If you're following me onPinterest, by the way, like

(08:06):
total squirrel here, I'll begoing to Erin Anderson Coaching.
So if you still want to followme, all of my things will be
rebranded to Erin AndersonCoaching.
Just a little caveat there.
But and I'll be that I'm onErin Anderson Official on
Instagram and then I'll be ErinAnderson Official or Erin

(08:27):
Anderson Coaching as well onPinterest, still working through
all of the rebranding cogs.
But back to the earning themoney thing.
Okay, there are places onlinethat will pay you to read books.
Maybe you decide to become ablogger Now.
If that's the case, please, please, please, start writing

(08:49):
about something positive.
Maybe it's about gardening,maybe it's about raising
chickens, maybe it's aboutbaking.
Like, what are you passionateabout?
Start blogging about it.
A lot of bloggers, not at thevery beginning, like give
yourself some time.
But a lot of bloggers aremaking um goll.

(09:18):
I know some that have made sixfigures in one month with their
blog and they're making easilyseven or eight figures at this
point.
Blogging, okay, um, you can getpaid to read books, ghost
writing if you're good at thatkind of a thing, getting an Etsy
shop, you know, writingspeeches or articles and sending

(09:41):
them into certain magazines.
My point here and there's somany more, there's so many more
the point is you have to getstarted on it.
Okay, I get where you're at.
When I started coaching 12 yearsago 12 years guys, um, I was in

(10:05):
a place, actually, I was inthis place more than 12 years
ago, probably actually from theget go of my marriage,
especially from when I startedhaving children, because when I
was, when I first got married, Iwas going to school to become

(10:25):
an elementary teacher and Iloved it, you guys, like I loved
the kids, I loved teaching.
It was such a passion for me,um, but I, I gave up my teaching
career so I could stay home andraise my children that I now
have six of right my oldest isnow 17, right At this point, I

(10:49):
should say, and so easily.
17 years ago, I startedrealizing that without my
teaching income, we werestruggling, but nobody was
paying me to raise my son, andso I really started having a bit

(11:14):
of a problem because money wasso incredibly tight and back
then the internet like makingmoney online wasn't as
profitable now as what it wasback then.
So I started asking myself okay, so what is it that I can do

(11:37):
right now?
Um, that will, to buy diapersfor my son.
I was legit struggling to buybaby food, and there were times

(12:02):
where I would make sure myhusband and my son was fed and I
would go the entire day withouteating and then the next day
with only one meal because I wasso worried about money.
Ok, so I started asking myself, what could I do, and so one of

(12:26):
the things I and I startedwriting a list.
Well, I started looking for, like, what some of the needs
were in my community, and one ofthe things I noticed was that
they there was a need for, like, cards for baptisms and
blessings because I live in avery predominantly LDS community

(12:47):
right, predominantly LDScommunity right and there just
wasn't really any cards forpeople to go buy.
Uh, where they could, theycould, um something cute that
they could give to people, andso I decided I was going to go
get the materials and startmaking cards.

(13:10):
Um, and one of the feedbacks Igot was well, that's just really
freaking expensive.
And so I started creating moreof like a, a mini scrapbook for
blessings and for um baptisms, and started putting and started
selling them um instead.

(13:33):
And uh, what ended up happeningis I started making enough like
easily enough to cover diapersand a little more food, and, um,
I started making like almost$300 extra a month just doing
that Right, and then I take someof that money and I go back and

(13:57):
rebuy supplies, and so I justkind of started a little side
business for myself.
When my second son came aroundaround, I found it necessary to

(14:18):
go out and get a substituteteaching job and that brought in
roughly about five or sixhundred dollars a month.
And I that after I startedhaving more kids, I started
realizing that either I wasgoing to start paying for
daycare, which would have takeneverything I made, so that was

(14:39):
kind of pointless or I'd have tostart staying home again and
figuring out another way to earnmoney.
And so I started looking intoother options and I started into
network marketing with doTERRA.
Actually, I really loved theoils.
I loved what I was getting fromthe oils and the benefits I'd

(15:03):
get from the oils.
You know, our health hadimproved, our mentality had.
Mentalities had improved, ourhealth had improved, our
mentalities had improved and Ifelt like I was able to help my
family be more healthy with them.
So I started doing classes onessential oils and I started
learning all I could about theessential oils and started

(15:25):
teaching other people about themand I started building a
downline and that brought in fora while, almost a thousand
dollars a month.
And then I realized that Ireally loved leadership.
I loved leading my team, Iloved helping them solve
problems, I loved teaching them, and so I started my coaching

(15:48):
business and that's bringing inanywhere like like I've made
anywhere from five to tenthousand dollars a month at this
point and it's easily bringingin a consistent five thousand a
month right now.
And so and it's still growing,it's still building and it's

(16:09):
because I started looking forpossibilities.
Okay, now I don't tell you whatI'm making to like flaunt
anything.
It's more or less to show youthat there are so many
possibilities out there when youstart working with your
passions and the things that youreally do love.

(16:31):
I was passionate about craft.
I'm still passionate aboutcrafting and artist artistry.
I love being artistic, I lovehaving fun, I love painting.
I love drawing.
I love these things, um.
I love singing.
I actually have been paid acouple of times to come and sing

(16:51):
for people.
I love writing music.
I've made a little money off ofmy songs, um, I have made money
off of teaching tools.
I've made money.
Oh, I also did teach online fora while too.
There is that.
I forgot about that aspect, um,and I was making a good $2,500

(17:13):
a month doing that.
Um, and this is just my pointmy loves.
I've never, I didn't have toever leave.
Well, that's not true.
I did leave the comfort of myhome when I was substitute
teaching, um, but when Irealized that I really needed to
be home still with my kids, most of what I've made has been

(17:35):
from the comfort of my home.
Now that my coaching businessis growing and my children are a
lot older and they're able tobe a lot more sufficient for
themselves and help their, theiryounger sis, their younger
siblings my goodness, wherethey're not as self-sufficient

(17:59):
Now I'm able to get out and go,do more things and help more
people and get in front ofpeople a little bit more, and
I've been doing speaking events.
I've been promoting in person alot more, which has actually

(18:20):
built my business again more.
Another thing I could do is Icould start coaching teachers
how to build an online, anonline business, a successful,
thriving online teachingbusiness.
Um, I could, you know, coachparents on how to help their

(18:45):
kids with their their uh, math, their learning.
I could write a homeschoolprogram for crying out loud Like
there's so many things that Icould do that I'm passionate
about, that will bring in income.
Now you might say to me no,what about time?
Leveraging your time?
Well, yeah, yeah, right now forme, like coaching, you know you

(19:15):
and like Boundary Boss Babes, now, right, that's taking up a
lot of my time, plus my family.
Right to help teachers becomebetter online teachers or
parents with their homeschoolingand helping their kids

(19:37):
understand or even in schoolunderstanding, math, reading,
science, actually how to teachthese things so your kids feel
confident in their learning.
I know how to do that and Icould totally put together a
program.
My point here is, yes, leverageyour time, but start asking

(20:02):
yourself what could you do andtake one thing and start running
with it, because, my loves, ifyou want freedom financial
freedom is going to be a pieceof this you need to have your
own money, money that helps youmake sure that you are taken

(20:28):
care of and that your kids aretaken care of, that you are
taking care of and that yourkids are taking care of.
Money that helps you, you know.
Buy into the things that youneed to buy into to get you the
results you want.
It's so important If you wantto feel more relaxed, more

(20:51):
feminine, not feeling like youhave to actually rely on your
husband or your mom and your dadfor money.
You've got to decide what it isyou want to do and start taking

(21:13):
action on that.
Well, my loves, this is thelast episode of the other side
of the struggle.
Now, if you're really ready torun and start taking action on
not only healing yourrelationships, healing your
trauma, but also start creatingsome serious money for yourself,
