Today's episode: so many topics to go over. Where to begin. Spotify wrapped came and went and I am ready to do the walk of shame and tell you all about top songs and artists of the year. The Eras Tour is also coming to an end, so this episode is also an ode to the highest grossing tour of all time, celebrating its accomplishments and the significance it has and will always have for our culture. Lastly, I will also be giving you all a mini review of "Rosie", Rosé's debut album, including my fave tracks and my overall opinion on the project.

Currently, right now, at the time I'm recording this, Taylor Swift is preparing a guest herself
to go on stage for the last time on the ERAs tour.
So, this is the last show for the ERAs tour happening this evening, this night.

So, there's a lot of monumental, I guess, things happening at the same time, so very
cool stuff, but yeah, we'll get into all that.
First, I'm going to talk about songs of the week, of course, as usual.
And you can find all these songs, of course, as usual, in my monthly playlist that I make

with the songs of the week for each month, and it's called The Overshare Panflit Songs
of the Week dash whatever month the episode is recorded in and published in.
So I started writing my December playlist, and these songs I'm going to talk about today
are going to be added onto that playlist.

So yeah, I mean, of course, we're going to have a couple of songs from Rosie's album,
so I'm not going to discuss those songs in this portion because I'm going to be basically
talking about the full album later on.
But yeah, there's more, there's more, there's always more, there's always more with Rob,
there's always something up.

I think the first song I want to talk about...
Oh yeah, I want to talk about is Nice Knowing You by Sadie Jean.
This song is frankly some of the best, like, confessionals writing I've listened in a while.

I think I already saved some of her songs before.
I'm not exactly, like, I wouldn't consider myself a fan of Sadie Jean because I only
know four songs in total, but all the songs I have saved from her are incredible.
But yeah, Nice Knowing You is her latest single that came out literally, like, was it November

I think so.
Well, 3rd of December, actually, so, so fresh.
Actually, this week, so, it's so fresh and so, so good, I would say.
It's like one of the best confessional songwriting songs out there, right now, I would say.
It's just the writing is so good and it's all about...

I think it's like a bit of a different perspective on the usual breakup or all that stuff, type
of like songs, because she goes over basically her entire relationship with this person and
she acknowledges basically now that this person has someone new in their life.

And it's sort of like a farewell to this person, the song, it's sort of like a goodbye, like,
it was Nice Knowing You basically, it's a...
Acknowledge you the fact that there's someone new basically and just, you know, coming to
terms with the fact that you never see this person again and accepting that there's no...

It's not really exactly like a tragic song, per se, I guess the tragic fact is that the
acknowledgement of it all that they're actually not meant to be together and like they moved
on, well, he moved on, or he or she or whatever, their ex-partner moved on.
Like she goes like, she says like, good for you, I mean it too, it was Nice Knowing You,

let's not pretend it's not the end, I'm never seeing you again, but really there's no bad
blood, we'll always be almost in love, almost in love, right?

So it's sort of like a coming to terms with that, but the way she sings this song is just
so emotional and the production and everything is just really, really good.
It kind of reminds me of, I guess the style in which she sings is more like an Olivia

Rodrigo or like a Gracie Abrams sort of ballad.
I would categorize this more like as a power ballad maybe, well, I guess both, it is a
ballad to be fair, but yeah, really good stuff, so if you're in the mood for some of that,

Then I want to talk about Gail, you may know her from her smash hit ABCDEFU, ABCDEFU, wait
is that the one?
That's the song, yeah, that was all over TikTok, maybe two years ago or something, I think

it was two years ago during the pandemic, I can't remember, but that song was so annoying,
I have to be honest, like it got to a point where I was like, I was so annoyed about the
song, I was like, I also don't see why they appeal, but I have to be honest, Snow Angels,
this new song is it.
I don't know if it's new actually, but I just discovered it recently and it is a hit, it

is a hit.
It's very, very cool, very energetic type of song, has a bit of that like up tempo,
almost, it's not really electric guitar, but it's like up tempo acoustic guitar band type
of song and it's really, really fun.

I would say like it's a very fun track, it's a very carefree type of song and it's just
like very beautiful melodically I would say.
Yeah, it's just like being young, being like doing a lot of funny things, like a lot of
fun things and all that stuff.

Like for example, we'll lose our mind just for the night, kiss me when you're drunk,
like you're stone cold sober, could be dying young, but we're getting older, I feel like
letting go, don't know what we want, baby, that don't matter, I do what I want, think
about it after all, I feel like letting go and all that stuff, like jumping on a table.
It's like sort of party anthem-y, but it's like more guitar, yeah, guitar lad type of

track, so very, very cool, very cool.
I actually don't know what this song came out to be quite frank with you, but it's just
a hit, it's just a hit, I love listening to this.
Should I add another one, because I'm pretty sure I'm going to add a couple of tracks from

Rosie, probably two, I'm going to pick my top two songs and put them in there, but I
don't want to over populate the playlist this week.
Maybe I'll just do, you know, maybe I'll just do another track and that's it, Darling Drive

by Matt, I assume that's how you pronounce that name, but Matt and Sam Gillitry, and
that is a danceable, like it's a very dancey type of R&B song, very cool, very groovy,
very groovy track, very nice production.

I'm still on the fence of whether I like the vocal production on this, like it's something
like one of those very anonymous type of tracks, like sort of, there's a filter behind the,
like in front of the voices, but I still love the beat of this and the delivery and everything,
it's just the mood and everything else.

So before we get into the album itself, let's just get into like the nitty gritty of it
all, which is the Spotify wrapped that just came out this week and to be fair, it's already
gone from my main page, oh no, she's still here, she's still here, so I can give you

guys, just for your information, what happened basically on my Spotify wrapped, I just want
to discuss, like it's a good way of like discussing my listening habits this year, but so to start
off, I would say, let's just get into the numbers of like how many minutes I've listened

to, this year I've listened to 130,451 minutes, my biggest listening day was October 3rd with
1,014 minutes and that is crazy to me, I checked with my friends and like I have just been

crazy, I listened to more than 6,500 songs this year, so that explains a lot, but yeah,
my top song of the year was Sheesh by Baby Monster and I was in their 0.0001% top listeners,
I streamed it a total of 374 times, so yeah, my obsession with Kpop never ends and Baby

Monster this year was retrospectively I guess a very great year, well mostly for me, I don't
know, I know not everyone feels the same way about Baby Monster, they're like you know,
we're all doing the same YG shtick, but I am a YG stan and I do enjoy that type of sound,
so to my surprise, well not actually to my surprise, I keep on checking my stats on Spotify

pretty often, so I knew sort of like my top 3 songs were going to be Baby Monster songs,
and so they were, but I thought it was going to be forever my number 1 song, but actually
in terms of like minutes played, sorry, yeah, sorry in terms of number of times I played
the song, Sheesh I played it more, but in terms of minutes, I think from stats FM, forever

was my most stream in that sense, so makes sense, but anyways, so my first track, my
top track is Sheesh, my second one is Forever by Baby Monster, and the third one is Batter
Up by Baby Monster, so yeah, Baby Monster domination for this year for me, it's just
insane, but here's where it gets interesting, I would say the most interesting stuff happened

with the last two songs, fourth one was Please Please Please, and I'm so glad it's in the
top 5, because I did say in my previous episode that I made on like my favourite tracks and
songs of the year, I think I made it like last month or something, like a couple of
episodes ago, I did say Please Please Please was one of the best songs of the year, and
I still stand firm with that, so yeah, and then the fifth one, which is Crazy, and I

didn't really notice how crazy it was until my friend actually pointed it out to me, but
my fifth song is Meow by Meow, and that's another capable track by the way, but the crazy shit
about this is that, well my friend was so right for calling me out on that, but this
song came out only three months ago, and I streamed it already so many times that it

cracked into the top 5, so that is crazy, that is insane, and I don't know what to do
with that information, like that's scary shit, like I don't know how many times I've played
this song for real, like it's just so addictive, and you can tell, I guess sort of like this
year for me was more, well my most, but yeah, again I wanna make it clear that I think,

also in general I think it's the same thing for everyone else, the songs that you play
the most sometimes don't mean that they are like your actual favourite songs from the
year, I guess, so if you're actually going back to that episode I was talking about,
I didn't mention Forever for example, but I did not mention any of these other tracks,
I think they're just like super catchy in my brain and I keep on listening back to them,

and a big factor personally is also the choreo of the tracks that I unfortunately got obsessed
over, so sometimes whenever I think of that choreo I just like play the song, and whenever
I think of the song I play the choreo and all that stuff, so it keeps on getting repeatedly
played for multiple different reasons, but yeah, I'm really outing myself right now with

these, Spotify Rap is just like crazy because it's a window into anyone's psyche and like
taste or whatever so it's very revealing, but I'm going through it just for the fun
of it, just so we can all laugh together I guess.
Now podcasts, whatever, stream, I hope you guys are streaming The Overshare Popplet,

I hope it wasn't your top podcast of the year, but yeah, I actually liked the little time
capsules they provided for three months of the year, like how my taste has changed throughout
the year, whatever, like what I listen to in different times of the year, that was cute.

So my music evolution was, I think it started off with April 2024, and that for me was mostly
according to Spotify Rap, a pumpkin spice cheerleading pop phase, and my most listened
to artists were Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Kim Petrus, so yeah, I'm trying to think

April, what was that, like was that when Torture Poets came out?
I can't remember, when did Torture Poets come out?
Either way, it was a very cheerful and energetic type of music, you know, to slay, then the

other month it was put lighter for me was July 24, which was roughly right before the
AeroStore, but interestingly enough it was the Hollywood, Cadwell K-Pop season for me
apparently, and I listened to mostly Aespa, Pee Pee Monster, and Lyserophim, I don't know,
whatever that means, like I'm not really sure, like I wasn't really paying attention to that

much, I don't know what I was listening to in July, but the last one I'm really grateful
for, I'm very intrigued by is my October was smooth escape room alternative R&B moment,
so my most listened artists for that month were Revin Linnae, of course, which again,

if you listened to that episode I was talking about, about my top albums and songs of the
year, you would know that Bird's Eye is one of my favourite albums of the year, Victoria
Mone and Charlotte D. Wilson, so period. Now, artists, this year I listened to like a total
of 2600 and more artists, but my top artists, like here's where it's at, there was not

gonna be any surprise in terms of the top two, because it's always the same every year,
and of course top one is Taylor Swift, and top two is, well second one is Lana Del Rey,
I think the calculation of how it works is also just based on the amount of songs I've
saved from them, and like the way the algorithm works is that they give you your like songs,

like when you shake them up there's more of a chance basically that you're gonna listen
to a Taylor Swift or Lana Del Rey in my case for example, right? So they will never be
dethroned, I'm so sorry, but they keep on adding up stuff to your catalogues and I keep
on adding them, so they're always gonna be in the top two spots forever. But yeah, so

I spent a total of 10,000 minutes, well almost 11,000 minutes actually listening to Taylor
Swift this year, so yeah. But yeah, again, apart from the top two which are the most
predictable ones, I think also another one that's very predictable in a way is Ariana

Grande on my list, and she was at number four, because Anna Billie Eilish was well number
five because I keep on adding stuff from their, I have most of their songs saved, so they
make sense, but the one that of course was I guess like a surprise was Baby Monster at
number three. So yeah, that's the vibe of this year I guess. Well of course then I received

a message from Taylor Swift or whatever, so pretty cool stuff. But I would say compared
to the other years, I think there was a bit less of a playful character to this Spotify
rap. I still remember two years ago when they did like the mood ring situation, I think
it was that. I think last year I think they did the Tarot card, but two years ago I think

they did the mood ring thing, or maybe it was the same year, I can't remember, but I
really enjoyed that because it's like a bit of an extra layer to the stats, they compile
with stats, they create images or whatever, they put it through some sort of algorithm,
I don't know. So those were more interesting, they give you a bit of a character to your

playlists and your listening habits or whatever, so I would say I've been a bit more personalized
in a way, these like, rapped, apart from just giving you the cold cut numbers basically,
but it is what it is, it is what it is, it is what it is. But yeah, so Taylor Swift keeps

on dominating my, basically my top songs, my top artists and all that stuff, like she's
still gonna be dominating for a long time in my Spotify, just because like I've had
Spotify since 2014, so she's been on that legendary rotation for so long, and she will

never be dethroned unfortunately, so cry about it. And speaking of Taylor, next topic is
the end of the Eris tour, and I just want to take a very small little moment to just
acknowledge the fact that this has been, like it really feels like the end of a big chapter,

not only in like Taylor Swift's career of course, but just in general, I think the culture
in general has also been shifting, and has shifted quite significantly compared to like
how the tour started and everything. So yeah, so Taylor Swift is currently gearing up to
like walk on stage and tonight will be the last show of the Eris tour, and with that,

she's already had the most successful tour ever, grossing I think roughly like 2 billion
dollars or even more, and what's scary and crazy about this tour is that it already became
the most successful tour in its first leg alone in the US, so it already surpassed the

threshold, I think in the first chunk of it, which was mostly last year basically, and
then added on, you know, the other continents and the other parts of the tour, the other
legs, it just, you know, racked up so much money, so it was incredible, an incredible
feat, just a historical moment also in the culture and like in music and everything,

it really feels like if you went to this tour, or if you lived also enough on the social
media of it all, and you followed all of it, I guess you could catch a glimpse of how historical
this moment was, and do we know how big it's gonna be in the history book later on, like
in the future? We're gonna look back on this and really, I think really appreciate and

like really give flowers to how big this monumental tour was for music, and it really was, like
it really mobilized so many people, and it was a big moment for female fans, for queer
fans, a lot of left-leaning listeners in that sense, it was a big, big moment for pop music,

and it single-handedly revitalized, I would say, live music, because if you think about
what happened before, what was happening in music before the era tour, it was right off
the heels of the pandemic, basically, which significantly, I would say, dealt a very heart-hitting

blow on music in general, and like live events and everything else, but Taylor Swift had
the influence and the power to restart the engine for everyone else, because if you think
about how this impacted also onto other tours, I think people went to this incredible event

that lasted for so long as well, but it's just like the mere fact that the tour itself
is like, a single show is like more than three hours long, I think it really satiated people
and really gave people more of an incentive to go and see other tours, and I think also
so many other people took notes from Taylor and started making their tours more interesting,

see Sabrina Carpenter with her very dynamic current tour, or I would say, what's her name,
Grady Abrams, or even a God's tour was very influential as well, and so many people started
going to more tours, I've been to so many shows, and it really was a beneficial moment

for everyone in that sense in the industry, and of course, it aided so much in different
countries, GDP and everything, it was just like an incredible feat, honestly, something
that you cannot deny, it was super influential and super monumental for the culture, I think

monumental is the word to use here, it's just that important, I think, and it shouldn't
be downplayed at all, it's an incredible, incredible feat, honestly, so kudos to Taylor
for being the baddest bitch on earth and being the most successful person in the industry
right now, so yeah, I mean, I discussed previous times as well how the, I don't know, also

brought a lot of overexposure for her, I think, and the other albums and everything, and I
think for the sheer fact that it was so long, people, of course, but that's how the entertainment
industry works, I think if you're out there for so long, people get bored and tired of
you and people switch sides constantly, so I think it was bound to happen, but I think

the other day she doesn't really care, it's been such a long career for her and she knows
what she, she's calculated already, I think, how this is gonna affect her in the long run,
and I don't think it's gonna be, I mean, what she really needs right now is of course
a corona break and be silent for a while, so she will be missed and people will get back

into it again, and it will happen, it will happen, of course, I mean, that is of course
dependent on whether she wants it to happen, but at this point she has achieved so much
that, frankly, even if she went on dropping more stuff and people got tired of her for
the long term, I wouldn't mind even there, like, I'm still, I'm still, you know, eating

it up, it really depends on how, like, you know, how big does she want to keep on being,
you know what I mean, and I think she is, she doesn't need any advice in that department,
like, she knows what she wants and she knows what she'll do, so, Taylor is already thinking,
as she always says, like, three years ahead, like, she already is thinking ten steps ahead,
like, she knows what she's doing, so, I trust the process, I know what's gonna happen, but,

yeah, so, as I was, as I was settling in many other episodes as well, people have, of course,
turned their backs to her a bit, just because of how, you know, what big good is she was
in the past three years, probably, yeah, yeah, so, Midnight was the peak of her career, of
course, and then the first leg of the tour was incredible, but then, you know, the thing

started becoming, like, it was so talked about for so long that people started, of course,
getting tired of her and all that stuff and, like, all the bad things that happened in
terms of, like, people saying, you know, dragging her and putting her against other artists,
it was just the classic, you know, internet circus behaviour, yeah, so, it's whatever,

but yeah, as I said, like, this also, I think the end of this tour marks also a shift in
the culture, not simply because of that, like, people turning their backs to Taylor Swift,
but just in general, I think, with the elections, the result of the elections and everything,
like, the US leaning towards the more conservative side once again, and this tour being the emblem
instead of, like, more liberal, you know, the more liberal culture, it really feels

like the end of a chapter in terms of liberal America in that sense, you know, like, not
to say that all these people are gonna be silenced by the US, of course, that's not
what's happening, but you can see that there's a big majority in the US that is still very
much conservative and wants to be more conservative, you know, so, and I think, in a way, it's

gonna be even more crucial to think back on these moments and, like, look at them with
more fondness, because it was an incredible experience, I don't know if you've been,
if any of my listeners have been to the Aeros tour, but even if you haven't, if you've
seen clips online, it is truly, I would say, I've been, and it's truly one of the most
freeing experiences and liberating experiences, I think, I got a taste of it whenever I went

to, like, those, like, Taylor Swift concert nights, sorry, DJ sets nights and, like, all
that stuff, like, it's a place where you go, where all the people you go to with and the
people are attending are all in the same mindset and the same vibe, and it's just, like, a
very safe space, a very carefree space, and you literally can be whoever you want to be
in these spaces, and it's just so, so good to feel, you know? So that's, I think that's

a crucial part of this, and then when you go to the tour, it's just, like, a moment
that connects so many people at the same time, and it's all just so beautiful and indescribable,
honestly, like, it's such a good feeling, and yeah, so I think it's important we celebrate
it for what it was and for what happened and what's going to happen, and I think we're

going to be craving even more another Aeros tour, if I have to be honest, like, as soon
as this is done, people are going to start looking back on it and saying, like, oh, I
wish we had another Aeros tour around, you know, to, like, you know, escape from this
very sad and depressing reality right now, but yeah, so, but again, kudos to Taylor.

I don't know if something is going to happen tonight in terms of announcements, but I don't
really care, and even if, I'm willing to believe that she's not going to announce anything,
to be fair, just because I think if, but it's going to be interesting to see what's going
to happen, because she could announce the release of Reputation for the new year, or
she could also say nothing and, you know, leave everything else for the new year and

that's it.
So, either way, it's been such a good experience, such a good moment for everyone, basically,
who attended it and who was part of it.
So yeah, here's to Taylor Swift's legacy and hopefully even more greatness coming from

her in the future.
I just wanted to, like, leave this topic with a small note on what she put on the Aeros
tour book.
She said, see you next Aera, and I truly believe that she will be doing another Aeros tour.
I don't think she will be doing another Aeros tour specifically, I think she will do another

tour with a new album, and she will incorporate songs from previous albums, of course, but
yeah, I mean, I don't think she will be doing another Aeros tour, because it was so excruciatingly
tiring for her to do this whole thing, and I'm sure she is very glad about it, of course,
but I don't think she has the strength to keep on going and doing these things.

And also, she already did it once, I think it wouldn't make sense to do it again, and
also the whole point was to reclaim her work and like, re-celebrate her reclaiming work,
and now that the process is about to end, because I think next year we're gonna get
those two last albums back, so the whole point is done, you know?
Like she's reclaimed everything, it was more about the re-recordings and more than the

new albums or anything, so I think she would like to focus next on the new stuff.
So we'll see what happens, but cede it for now.
Anyways, let's get without any further ado, let's get into the actual diva, which is
Rosé, Rosé's debut, well, first full-length album, let's just say that, because she debuted

multiple times, but I mean, Blackpink and others, all artists already, but this is the
first full-length album she's ever done, and this was outside of YG, it was more like a
collaboration between the Black Label and Atlantic Records, I think, was it?
I think it might be Atlantic Records.
Yeah, yeah.
So Rosé, I would say, on the offset, I would say like it's a very strong effort, I would

say as a solo album for a member of a group, because that's what you have to keep in mind
as well, like she's coming out of a group, and this is probably her first ever attempt
as a proper songwriter by herself.
All the songs are either solo written or like co-written by Rosé, so first of all, clap

and cheering, you know, clap and cheer for that, that is a moment to celebrate, and it's
a very important, I think, it's a very good effort in terms of also, not reintroducing
her but sort of giving you a sense of who she is as a person, as an artist, and it is
the main purpose of why the album was made in the first place, like she had multiple

interviews that this was her opportunity to just like talk about her feelings and how
she thinks and all that, like really, you know, stripping it down and like being disgustingly,
like she said, honest about her feelings and about her psyche, and that's why she also
called it Rosé, because that's how most of her friends call her, and like that's a very,

you know, sort of an endearing like friendly way of addressing her, it's sort of like telling
you basically she wants to become friends with you and like be close to you and, you
know, sort of show you all of her sides in that sense, and it is that 100%, I think you
can really, and not simply in terms of actually the content of the album, but also I think

the soundscape, it really gives you an idea of like what Rosé likes to hear and likes
to listen to and likes to jam to in that sense, like the album is full of influences from
Taylor Swift to Olivia Rodrigo, I would say, to Avril Lavigne, to, well, who else, who

else, I think Bruno Mars, of course, so you can really tell from all these different,
from all the different songs on the album, like who her influences are and what is her
vibe and like what she listens to and all that stuff, and also the content is very much
focused on this failed relationship that was very toxic, of course, and basically scarred

herself for a good two years, as she says in this album and in various interviews, but
there are various speculations of who the album might be, some people are saying Jane
and Smith, and I don't really know who it is about specifically, but it's just interesting

to see also for a K-pop idol to be so raw and like so open about their experiences and
like their dating life and everything, because as you may know, K-pop is very taboo when
it comes to that, so that was definitely very refreshing side of also the album.

I really enjoyed getting to know her better in that sense, like how she felt throughout
these two years, and it was also written basically in a span of her touring with BLACKPINK and
also that year break that they took before coming back together next year, so yeah, very

interesting stuff, a lot of interesting songs.
I think the soundscape of this album is very much like Avril Lavigne, like in that sense,
like very punk-ish, but more modernized with a bit of synthy production here and there,

(35:50):
but there's a lot of guitars as usual, as we may know, like Rosie is a guitar girlie,
acoustic guitar girlie, so there's a lot of acoustic guitars as well, there's some country-esque
moments with songs like Not The Same, a lot of ballads, a lot of ballads like for example

(36:11):
Say A Little Longer or Too Bad For Us, of course Number One Girl as well, so yeah, a
lot of incredible stuff.
It's a very cohesive album sound-wise, it's quite cohesive I would say, even though it
explores different genres in a way, like it goes from piano ballads to guitar ballads

(36:34):
and power ballads as well, and then it goes into synthy numbers like Two Years and then
it goes into full-on almost punk situations and rock songs like Toxic Till The End or
APT, and then there's a bit of an R&B moment with Drinks or Coffee, which by the way is

(36:56):
one of the best songs on the album, just saying, but yeah, I would have to say that the album
is incredible, it's very very good, I still think there's a lot of room for improvement
in terms of the songwriting of it all, but I also understand that it's like, you know,
some of her first efforts are actually writing an album herself, so I mean, the writing is

(37:19):
good, but it's not complex by any stretch of the imagination, it's not A Taylor Swift
level of writing in that sense, which is okay, it's not what it's supposed to be in a way,
but when it comes to a confessional album in that sense, you also are mining for this
on writing itself and seeing what's the quality of it all, so yeah, so I'm definitely pleased

(37:45):
by the album, I still think of course there's room for improvement, but what I'm mostly
satisfied by I would say is the sonics of it all and the soundscape, this is very rosé,
like very guitar-y as I said, like very incredible vocals, I love her vocals in this album, so
many tracks, I'm like, oh, she's really doing it, like I think Drinks or Coffee is where

(38:10):
she really shines vocally, like she goes into those lower registers a lot and a lot of interesting
melodies and like riffs, or like I really like Sally a little longer as well in terms
of projection and like how she sings there as well, so there's a lot of great moments
here, so yeah, I'm honestly very satisfied with it, the third single she released with

(38:35):
the album as well when it dropped is Toxic Till the End, which is in my books a mixture
of Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift, the video reminded me so much of Blank Space, the music
video, and yeah, I guess it's like the mansion and like a very toxic relationship or whatever,

(38:57):
or like fist fighting sort of relationship, so it reminded me so much of Da, but the content
is a bit more different, I guess, like Blank Space is more about addressing the public perspective
of like how, you know, the public opinion of how Taylor Swift dates and all that stuff,

(39:18):
it's like poking fun at that, while Toxic Till the End is like literally what you think
it is, like it's about this toxic relationship and how they both played a part in, you know,
playing in it and still having toxic behaviour towards each other, but yeah, very cool stuff

(39:39):
and very sad songs, there's a lot of hurt here of course, because it's like a very
heartbreaking type of album, very cool subject matters, I really like the writing, I think
maybe the best writing that she has on this album is probably on Gameboy, I would say

(40:01):
and Stay a little longer, those two really give me that singer-songwriter-y a bit more,
I can see the potential there so much, but yeah, very cool stuff, if you like pop music,
if you like professional songwriting, if you like a little bit of a variegated album that
still sounds cohesive in a way, I would say give it a spin, my favourite, I would say,

(40:26):
well I like a lot of the songs here, I saved most of them to be fair, but very solid album,
very solid effort, I would say my favourite songs are Dance All Night, I really like,
not the same as well, I really like Stay a little longer, Gameboy, Drinks or Coffee,

(40:47):
I thought Toxic Del Llamo was going to be my favourite track, but I think, I still love
the song 100%, I love the song so much, but I think some other songs might crack on the
top three and are even more superior, but very cool stuff, you'll see what I put, I
think I might put three songs in my Songs of the Week playlist for December, but yeah,

(41:17):
I am very glad about this, and before I finish off the episode, I just wanted to say this
about Blackpink and solo efforts, they're all venturing on, so I may be crazy, but I
think, I'm not sure how logistically it would work copyright wise or whatever, like the

(41:38):
rights for the music to be played live or whatever, but I think, myself thinks that
all the girlies are doing their own shtick in terms of albums and everything, and then
they're coming back as Blackpink, right, and they're going to embark on a tour next year
as well, they promised that, they've said that, they've said that YG has also confirmed
it, so my opinion is that they might do a big number here, like with the new album as

(42:05):
a group, but also bringing in their own solo projects on the tour, and that would be so
f**king good and so smart marketing wise, because you're literally all doing your own
thing and you're all, I guess, accumulating clout by yourselves and fans solo stands,
but then you're all coming back together for a bigger moment as a group, and then embarking

(42:27):
on a tour with all of your solo moments plus the group effort, right, so if that's how
it's going to go, I'm not sure, again, with copyright issues, because they're all solo
signed with different labels, but they're still together signed as a group under YG,
so I don't know how that would work, but if that works, and that can happen, then it's

(42:48):
going to be one of the best tours ever, talk about the Aeros tour, that's going to be my
Aeros tour as well, my second Aeros tour is going to be the Blackpink 2025 tour, so, yeah,
if they make that, that's going to be so freaking smart, and we still have so much coming up,
so we have Lisa's album coming out in February, I believe, we have Jennie's album also coming

(43:10):
up, we don't know when, and Jisoo apparently is also recording the album, so we have so
many different moments, and I cannot wait to see what's going to happen with that, so,
yeah, stay tuned for more stuff, go listen to Rosie, and just, you know, tonight, just
