But this isn't just a name change - it's the culmination of everything I've learned about what actually works when you're juggling business and life responsibilities.

(00:00):
What if I told you the biggestproductivity breakthrough isn't
about finding the perfectsystem, but about finally seeing
what your actual priorities are?
What if the reason you've beenstruggling isn't because you're
behind or broken, but it'sbecause everything in your world
is labeled as urgent when itreally isn't.
Today, I am sharing somethingthat's been months in the making

(00:20):
a complete rebrand that betterreflects not just what I do, but
who I serve and how I actuallyhelp you break free from the
overwhelm cycle.
We're evolving from Thrive andfive to the Overwhelmed
entrepreneur, bite-sizedproductivity for busy women and
business.
This isn't just a name change,it's the culmination of

(00:40):
everything I've learned aboutwhat actually works.
When you're juggling a business, family responsibilities and the
constant feeling that you shouldbe doing more, here's what I've
discovered.
You don't need anotherproductivity tip to collect.
You don't need a more complexsystem or a prettier planner.
You need someone to help youreality check what's actually

(01:01):
urgent versus what just feelsurgent in the moment.
I see this constantly with thewomen that I work with.
You're drowning in a sea ofshoulds and urgents that aren't
really yours to begin with.
You are collecting productivityadvice like Pokemon cards,
hoping that the next system willbe the magic.
The truth is when everythingfeels urgent, nothing really is,

(01:25):
and you may have already noticedthis shift happening over the
past few weeks.
I've been transitioning thestructure of our episodes to
better reflect this reality.
Maybe you've picked up on deeperdives into the psychology,
behind your struggles, or themore personalized approaches to
common challenges.
This wasn't accidental.
This was me responding to whatyou actually need, not just what

(01:48):
fits in a neat five minuteformat.
The reason traditionalproductivity advice fails
overwhelmed entrepreneurs isn'tbecause you are not trying hard
enough.
It's because most advice treatssymptoms instead of the root
cause, the root cause.
It's false urgency and theinability to distinguish between
what actually moves the needleand what just makes you feel

(02:10):
busy.
Your brain is wired to treateverything as urgent when you're
overwhelmed.
It's a survival mechanism thatmade sense when we were avoiding
actual tigers, but it doesn'tserve you when you're trying to
build a business and maintainsome semblance of work life
integration.
That's why I developed what Icall now, the reality check
method, because before you canimplement.

(02:32):
If any productivity system, youneed to reality check what
you're actually dealing with.
You need to see what thisactually is before you can
tackle it.
So here's how the rebrandreflects deeper work that we're
actually doing together.
First, we're naming the realenemy False Urgency.
When you label everything asurgent, you create a constant

(02:54):
state of crisis that paralyzesinstead of motivates.
The reality check method startsby questioning what's actually
urgent versus what feelsoverwhelming.
Second, we're focusing on allneedle movers and not busy work.
Instead of trying to optimizeevery single minute of your day.
We identify three things thatactually move your business and

(03:16):
your life forward.
Everything else gets categorizedas a nope until further notice.
Third, we are building systemsaround your reality and not some
perfect entrepreneur fantasy.
Your energy fluctuates, interruptions happen, and some
days your brain doesn't wannacooperate.
Instead of fighting thatreality, we work with it.

(03:38):
So let me give you threeimmediate changes you'll notice
as we transition to theOverwhelmed Entrepreneur.
First, every episode willinclude a reality check
component.
We'll always question whetherthe challenge you're facing is
actually as urgent as it feels,or if there's a deeper priority
clarification that's needed.
Second, I'll be sharing morebehind the scenes of how I use

(03:59):
the reality check method in myown business, not because I have
it all figured out, but becauseI want you to see how this works
in real life with realinterruptions.
And real challenges.
Third, we're expanding justbeyond productivity.
Tips to include a little bit ofbusiness strategy, mindset work,
and specific challenges thatcome with being an entrepreneur

(04:21):
who also happens to have afamily because your business
decisions affect your lifedecisions and vice versa.
So here's the thing.
This show will always continueevolving based upon what you
tell me you need.
I'm not married to anyparticular format or structure.
If it's not.
Serving you.
And speaking of evolution, Ihave something special planned

(04:42):
to kick off this rebrand.
Starting this week, I amlaunching the overwhelm to
Action Week, giving you a fewextra bonus episodes that will
take you through the completereality check method
transformation.
So during this Overwhelmed toAction week, you will get some
bonus episodes.
In addition to your regularlyscheduled episodes this week,

(05:07):
I'm going to walk you astep-by-step from paralysis.
To progress.
It's going to be an intensiveweek of practical strategies to
help you bridge that gap fromoverwhelm to action.
So let me tell you why thisrebrand happened.
I was working with a client whotold me, Cindy, I have tried
every productivity system outthere, but they all assume I

(05:29):
have control over my schedule.
You are the first person that'shelped me see that my problem
isn't time management.
It's actually prioritymanagement in the middle of
chaos, and that honestly is whenit clicked for me.
You are not looking for moreways to squeeze productivity out
of your day.
You're looking for clarity onwhat actually deserves your

(05:50):
limited time and energy.
You are looking for permissionto say no to the things that
don't move your needle, even ifthey seem important to everyone
else.
The reality check method isn'tabout perfection.
It's about progress with youractual reality.
It's about finally getting theimportant stuff done instead of
staying busy with urgent feelingtasks that don't matter.

(06:14):
So here's what I want you toremember.
As we make this transitiontogether, this rebrand isn't
about changing everything we do.
It's about getting clear on whatwe've always been doing.
I've always been the coach whohelps you reality check your
overwhelm and focus on what.
Actually matters.
Now we just have a name thatreflects that truth.
You are an entrepreneur dealingwith real overwhelm and you

(06:37):
deserve productivity advice thatacknowledges your specific
challenges instead of pretendingthey don't exist.
Whether you are a solo businessowner just starting out, or you
are managing a small team whilejuggling family
responsibilities, this show isdesigned for your reality.
No perfect days required.
No waiting until Monday toReese.

(06:57):
Set just practical ways to breakthe overwhelm and move forward
on what matters.
Before we wrap up, I wanna tellyou about something special that
I am doing to kick off thisrebrand, because I have been
hearing from so many of youabout feeling overwhelmed even
by the idea of more content toconsume.
Starting this week, I amlaunching the Overwhelmed to

(07:20):
Action Week.
Seven days that will walk youthrough the complete cycle of
the reality check methodtransformation.
Here's exactly what to expecttomorrow the episode will be
about what to focus on wheneverything feels urgent.
Then we're gonna talk about whyoverwhelmed entrepreneurs can't
take action.

(07:40):
Another episode this week willbe the bridge between Overwhelm
and Momentum.
And finally, I'm gonna teach youhow to take action when.
Everything feels overwhelming.
Each bonus episode is designedto build upon the last, taking
you from scattered to stuck.
To clear and moving forward.

(08:00):
Think of this as an intensiveweek of practical strategies to
help you finally bridge the gapbetween knowing what to do and
actually doing it.
Now I know what you're thinking.
More content sounds overwhelmingwhen you're.
Already feeling overwhelmed.
And that's exactly why thatafter this special launch week,
I'm moving to a Monday,Wednesday, Friday schedule

(08:23):
moving forward.
I heard you when you said youneeded breathing room, not more
to consume.
So after this transformationalweek, you'll get your regular
dose of the reality check methodcontent three days a week
instead of daily.
This week is all abouttransformation.
After this week, it's aboutsustainable progress without the

(08:44):
overwhelm.
Sound good?
I always end my show with thephrase, you've got this, and I
am here to help you see exactlywhat this is.
