Hello and welcome to the peaceful place. I am your host Melissa Field and thank you so

much for joining me in this really powerful space that I have created as a way for us
to come together and remember that our dreams for a loving, inclusive world are more alive
than ever. A lot of us were really disappointed and upset by the 2024 election results and

this is a space I wanted to create for those of us who just want to remember that not only
is our desire for a more loving, inclusive world still with us, but it's stronger than
ever and we're still moving towards it. And when we come together like this, our energy
really amplifies. It really grows because we have each other and there's just something

(00:52):
really powerful about when we center our intentions and bring them together. So we come together
here in the peaceful place for many reasons to remember that inner peace, it's still important.
It's still important. We're not going to let these systems and these people who thrive

(01:12):
on chaos take our peace away. And we come together to remember that we are in this together,
that we are a really big group of people who believe in love, who believe in inclusivity,
and who believe that there is something better on the other side of this and we're going
to make sure we get there. And we come together to renew and to re-energize and to just remember

that you cannot pour from an empty cup. We come together for so many reasons and I'm
so grateful that you are here and that we are in this together. What we're going to
do today is focus on the feeling of expansion. When we face things like what we're facing
right now in our collective political systems in the world, that overwhelming energy can

(02:05):
really start to press in on us and make us feel like we're compacting and we're shrinking
and that in itself can create stress and that stress can really slow down what we're trying
to do because the healthier we are, the more our energy is flowing, the better we're able
to just be in the strength we need for our resistance, for our own intentions and to

(02:31):
not just kind of start to go along with what's happening because we don't have the energy
to resist it. And so when we start to get compacted in, it can really affect us in a
lot of different ways and it's kind of like when your whole body is tensing and you can
just feel, this isn't good for me, I can't hold this forever when you just tense every

(02:51):
muscle and then when you relax and open your hands, relax your body, you can just feel
your energy flowing and that in itself is really healing. It just allows these natural
systems of healing in your body to kick in. But not only that, you create space, you've
kind of expanded yourself, you've relaxed and opened and with that expansion, you can

(03:16):
allow in healing energy to renew you even more. You can allow in ideas, inspiration,
you can just allow in a new perspective, you can allow in these higher dimensions that
just give us these ideas that it's like, I don't know where that came from, but that's
brilliant. And so when we tune into expansion, we allow healing in our mind, in our body,

(03:40):
we create space for what we need. We just allow ourselves to soften. So first, just
kind of tune into some relaxing, allow your breath to slow down. Notice the breath in
your body, maybe notice how your body moves with your breath, how does your stomach move?

(04:11):
Does your chest move to your shoulders move? Just really feel your breath and notice it.
And also, bring your awareness onto the sound of your breath. As you focus on it, does it

maybe grow longer or deeper? Does the inhale sound different than the exhale? And just

(05:04):
take a deep breath and notice how that feels. And I want you to take a really deep breath
and let out a sigh sound. And just bring some relaxation into your body. Are your shoulders

(05:41):
tense, your arms, your hands, allow them to relax. Are you holding anxiety or stress in
your stomach? Allow your stomach to relax. Allow your neck to relax and maybe notice

(06:05):
if you're just holding your neck and your shoulders really tight and bring more relaxation
into that area. Allow your back, your hips to relax. Allow your legs to relax, your feet.

(06:27):
And if you're doing something right now that requires your attention, walking, driving,
don't get too relaxed, just whatever is right for this moment. Just allow yourself to soften
and let go of some of that tension. And now I want you to imagine for a moment that you

(06:59):
are seeing your energetic self. You are seeing your infinite expansive spirit. And you are
remembering that all that tension, all that energy in your body, it's something of an

(07:22):
illusion. It's created by your thoughts and this feeling of being compact, tight, stressed,
pulled in. That's not who you really are. And the moment you tune back into your spirit
is the moment everything opens back up. And you really are infinite and you are connected

(07:48):
to the infinite energy of the universe. And you're connected to all these higher dimensions
that are just full of powerful healing energies and they're flowing in right now. And as you

(08:09):
are feeling this expansion, just allow it now to come into your body. Allow your body
to open up and expand and allow your mind to open up and expand. I want you to picture

(08:38):
the sun at the center of our solar system. And billions of light years away you have
the earth. And then billions of light years beyond that you have Pluto. And then you have

(09:04):
this whole giant galaxy that we're inside of. And this galaxy is near other massive galaxies.
And these galaxies are in this universe that is huge. And just hold this kind of visual,

(09:31):
this reminder of how expansive the space in which we exist is. Now I want you to think
about a flower in the sun and how peaceful that is and how that flower is just naturally

(10:01):
attuned to expansion. I want you to think about a bird soaring above it all. So expansive.
I want you to think about the clouds just floating out there. Holding onto nothing just flowing,

(10:30):
part of it all. And now come back to your breath. And just notice if it's any different,
if it feels any different. There's no right or wrong. You're just noticing. You're just

(10:57):
being with yourself. That's all you need to do right now. I want you to take another deep
breath. I want you to just hold on to this expansion and remember that you don't have

(11:26):
to live in this tight ball of stress, but you are allowed to expand. You are so loved,
you are so important. And when you are expanded, you really can do so much more because you
can let in that higher perspective, that energy that is full of divine guidance. And just

(11:53):
