In this special episode, I get to talk with Shaun Swiger. Shaun has a great life story and shares what that looked like through this episode. From serving in the USMC, gaining his Bachelor's in athletic training and Master's in education, and ultimately living his life as a servant leader, he has learned some things along the way. Shaun shares how addiction to drugs and alcohol in his youth plagued him and almost took everything away from him. Through these struggles though he gained something that kept him going and something that nobody could take away from him. That "thing" was resiliency. Although it was a struggle at times, Shaun shares with us how staying resilient in our life will not only help us live a life of purpose, but it will help us gain empathy for others and hope for our future. As he says, "no matter what, the sun will come up tomorrow."
