Speaker 1 (00:01):
From Los Angeles for the moment and is one and
only world famous Perez Perez Hilton. Why hello and welcome
to the PhD Booker. Of course, that's Perez. How you feeling,
(00:22):
how you doing? You look good?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Thank you. I'm excited for today's show. It's a lot
of divas. We're gonna be talking Adele, which we haven't
spoken about in a while. We're gonna be getting into
Miley Cyrus we have spoken about her recently. We're also
going to talk Selena Gomez, some housewives, a couple of updates.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
On the Scooter Braun drama, and more.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
But first, before we get to anything, my mom is
on Latino time, which means sometimes it takes her a
couple of days to be caught up with the news.
And last night, Sunday evening is when she found out
about Bob Barker's passing. And you know, my mother is
Cuban and she almost exclusively watches Spanish language television, but
(01:11):
she used to watch The Price Is Right and she
got truly very emotional and very sad that Bob Barker
passed away. And God bless him. He lived in ninety
nine years old, a full life and was active up
until the end. So shout out to Bob and all
of the animals that he helped.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I think that's awesome that you mentioned that. I'm glad
he was such an advocate for animals for so long.
And yeah, it's a sad passing. But if I see
the joke one more fucking time about him getting the
closest to one hundred without going over, I mean, come on,
that's a little hacky everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I mean, it's unoriginal because everybody's already been saying the
same joke as soon as he died.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
You're like, uh huh. Ninety nine.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Oh boy, I am happy that people are living to
be ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
My theory is the less stress that you put your under,
the longer you've got a chance to live.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Well, shit, I'm fucked then. I hope at least at
least I lived to the eighty. Oh good, All right,
let's get to it.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
How you been good. I went to see this band,
dirty Heads, on a boat Marina del Rey Friday nights.
So that was a stupid load of fun.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Dirty Heads is that like a cover band or something?
Dirty Heads they did that one song.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I'm on vacation. Every single day every.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Single Oh yeahah, I know that, I know that song.
I never knew their name.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Nothing else. Just kind of hung out all weekend. Had
some family over last night for some dinner.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
I live in Las Vegas. Booker lives in Los Angeles,
and I don't barbecue, but heta. Even if it's not summer,
it's still barbecue season. In Los Angeles, people always barbecue.
I barbecue at least once a week. And I know
what you're getting at. You're getting at the meter. I
used my meter last night.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I made sausages on the grill.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
You have to put your meter in a sausage.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
That's the thing I was cooking in the kitchen. So
I just needed to have those things get to a
certain temperature before I could pull them out and use
them and put them in a pasta sauce I was making.
But it's great because the meter, it just sticks right
into your meat and you kind of just forget about it.
You set the desired temperature on your phone, and when
it reaches that temperature, you get an alert like a text,
(03:21):
and it's just it says, hey, your meat is finished.
If I didn't have this thing, i'd forget all the time.
That I had meat on the grill because I'm always
cooking something else. I love my meter. I think it's
a great gift for anybody that likes to grill or
or just cook in general. It works in an oven,
works on a grill. It's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
You don't want salmonilla poisoning if your chicken is not
cooked there.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
It's got to be one sixty five exactly right.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Get your meter right now at meter dot com. That's
mea ter dot com. And thank you to the very
smart and wonderful folks at Meter for sponsoring our podcast.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Okay, let's get the show going here.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
It's so weird, you know. I like to pay attention
to what's going on in pop culture, duh, obviously, And
this summer, I feel like it's the first summer that
I can recall where there seems to be perhaps more
stadium concerts than arena concerts, and I fucking hate stadium shows.
(04:20):
I hate them. Beyonce was in Vegas this weekend, and
if it would have been at one of the arenas,
I would have gone. But it was at a stadium,
and even if you have a suite, you're still so
far away from it all and it's like I want
to be close to the singers. I want to be
able to see their faces. And in La Metallica was performing.
You didn't go to Metallica.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I'm surprised I didn't go. I've seen Metallica so many times.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I did, however, make it to the Rio here in
Vegas to go see Chippendale's. Oh Yeah, and Vinnie from
Jersey Shore was the special guest star and that was
a lot of fun. I had not seen the show
since I was in it. I did Chippendales in twenty eighteen.
I did not taking my clothes off, though Vinny from
Jersey Shore did and he took it all off. Oh
(05:06):
my god, there's a shower scene in there where he's
not wearing any clothes. Wow. And you know, I love
how committed he was to it. He didn't do it
like embarrassed. He didn't do it half assed, literally, he
did it full ass and it was great. And you
(05:27):
know what, the experience reminded me of one of the
things I love the most about Vegas. I love that
so many people come to Vegas just wanting to have
a good time, and I love going to shows that
draw that crowd. Because that energy is infectious and it
was a great time and I loved it. I wrote
on my website this weekend about this incident that happened
(05:49):
at the Adele show that reminded me a bit of
the Miranda Lambert situation. Not even that different, similar, just
in a different way. Reminder, and Lambert scolded these concert
goers for taking photos during her concert her residency here
in Vegas. Yeah, the opposite happened at the Adele show.
(06:12):
A security guard scolded a fan who was just having
a good time, and Adele saw that and said, why
are you going up to him? That person was just
having fun. So basically what that dude was doing was
he was just standing up and singing and having fun
and dancing, maybe not even dancing, but just standing up
(06:33):
for the entire show. And that raises the question, if
your entire section is sitting but you are standing, is
that bad concert etiquette?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I think it is. I think sometimes you have to
read the space that you're in. I'm not mad at
the person, you know, the etiquette is kind of do
what everybody else around you does, so you're not the
person standing up.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
I don't get.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Upset at that person ever. I'm always like, now I
have to stand up so I can see what's going on.
It's not really a thing where I would get mad
at anyone, but I would still say, hey, read the
room and check out your neighbors and what's going on
around you. Is it going to kill you to sit down?
You know, it's a dell, it's not a rager. Okay,
So that's what it is for me.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I agree, And Vegas is a very peculiar concert going
town for many reasons. Adele might be an anomaly, but
a lot of other shows they paper the audience, meaning
a lot of high rollers, you know, VIPs get free tickets.
So people go to the shows that may not be
big fans of the artists and they don't want to stand.
(07:41):
They just want to sit in their seats and just watch,
perhaps clap a little. And also there's just an expectation
that you're not going to be standing the whole time
in Vegas, and that's where the Adele show took place.
Having said that, I agree with you. I think you know,
etiquette is important, and you don't want to be that
one person standing the whole time when everybody else is
(08:02):
sitting down. That's just rude. But then I did look
at the comments section, and there are those people with
that school of thought. If you pay for a ticket,
you should be able to do whatever you want. If
you're not and standing at a concert, some people consider
to be not disruptive unless there's like a rule, which actually,
this is an interesting note. Some Vegas venues do have
(08:26):
signs saying standing is allowed or encouraged. Even so, there's that.
In more music related news, on our Patreon show, we
got into all of the Scooter Braun drama, and what's
interesting is there's a couple of updates, but we still
have no freaking clue what really is going on. So
(08:49):
if you're not caught up to speed with all the
Scooter drama, a bunch of his clients have left him,
and he did not control the narrative. He didn't release
a explaining what's going on, which I think is weird
and sketchy. Ariana Grande done with him, Adina Menzel done
with him. J Balvin done with him. Now. We also
(09:12):
have heard that Carly Ray Jebson done with Scooter, and
the latest is that Justin Bieber has hired a new
lawyer to get out of his contract. With Scooter Braun
because he still has several years left under his management agreement.
And you know what's interesting is he's so rich, Scooter Braun,
(09:33):
but sometimes not even sometimes oftentimes rich people are so greedy.
I'm cheap, but I don't think I'm greedy. Okay. So
if I were as rich as Scooter Braun and Justin
Bieber does not want to work with me anymore, I
would let him out of his contract. What would you do?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
It really depends on the agreement. Why he's tapping out.
There's just too many variables. How much is it which
is Scooter? What does he own versus what he takes
from Justin? So I don't know, it's hard to say.
To an extent, I understand he's your number one. He's
the reason you exist. I think maybe you do the
respectful thing and maybe tap out, But there's just got
(10:15):
to be a lot more to it.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, but why would you want to stay in it?
It's like a marriage, Like, why would you want to
stay in a marriage when you know your husband or
wife doesn't want to be married to you anymore? Yeah,
that's just me all right, speaking of marriages. Great transition,
Kim Zolziac from the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her husband,
Kroy Berman, has filed for divorce again. Okay, they had
(10:41):
announced this reconciling and he called off the divorce, but
now he's filed paperwork again. And apparently it all happened
because she dared him too, meaning.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Two people got drunk and started, I dare you to
leave me. You'll be nothing. I dare you, and you say, okay. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
They got into a huge fight and she said, you know,
he was threatening to divorce her. She said, okay, go ahead,
do it, go ahead, go ahead, divorce me, like along
those lines. Yeah, and he did. And you know, it
seems like their money problems are really at the root
of all of this, the stress, that the toxicness that
is this moment in their lives. You know, they're fighting
(11:23):
over who paid bills or who hasn't paid bills, and
things are getting even worse for her. On our Patreon show,
we talked about how Kim Zosiak's daughter got sued by
a credit card company for I forget the exact amount.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
It was like thirteen thousand or something like that.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, it was about over ten thousand dollars. Now, a
few days later, the mom, Kim Zolsiak, herself got sued
by a credit card company and she owes a lot more.
According to Sachs slash Capital one, she owes over one
hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Who lets someone run up that tab? How do you
not have some sort of gait on the account, especially
when you know someone's broke? How do you not say hey,
once this person gets up to I don't know, fifty
thousand bucks, sorry, your credit card is not going to work.
I'm triggered, like I'm having flashbacks to my post college
(12:24):
years and my you know, junior and senior year of college.
Here's the thing, right, no matter what you tell children,
they're gonna do whatever the fuck they want. But at
least you should do your due diligence and share your piece, okay,
and try to guide them in the right direction.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
This is what I did when I was in college
that I hope nobody else does now or ever. And
I understand you wanting this, that or the other. But anyways,
I wanted to have a off campus apartment, but I
didn't have the funds for it. So what did I do?
I got a cash advance on my credit card. Biggest
mistake ever, because when you get a cash advance, they
(13:03):
gouge you with like, what is it a twenty seven?
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Oh, it could be as much as they want, but yeah,
usually that number is close to the thirty percent interest
rate exactly.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
And at the time, you know, I wasn't making that
much money. So what did I do to try to
pay off my credit card. I got another credit card
with a lower interest rate, and I did a balance transfer.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
You had your own Ponzi scheme going on, and then
that started to rack up.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
So then I got another credit card at the lower
interest rate, and I did a balanced transfer. And then
next thing, I know, it's a few years down the
line and I have, like I forget how many but
like ten plus credit cardds got all maxed out. Oh man,
and then I couldn't get another credit card obviously, and
then I had a file for bankruptcy eventually. I don't
(13:48):
even know why she doesn't file for bankruptcy. Maybe she does,
maybe she's hiding money. I don't know what's going on,
but this is what I tell people. I've said this
so many times in interviews in the eighties. I grew
up here during this mantra, live within your means, Live
within your means, right, No, live below your means. Live
(14:09):
below your means. That means just because you can't afford
a new car, or just because you can afford a
fancy trip to Europe doesn't mean you should. We need
to really emphasize the importance of saving. Now.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
There's a whole thing where people think they deserve to
do everything and you know, experience everything, and that's how
you get yourself into trouble.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
It really is. But I really do truly feel for
Kim Zolziak. You know, I've been there. I feel for her,
and and she's there in a much worse spot than
me because when I did go through my major money issues,
I didn't have kids when I was younger, and you
can handle that kind of stress better. So I am
sending positive vibes her way, all right. So many of
(14:55):
you have hit me up about Koi, which means you're
paying attention to our podcast and you're really reaping the
benefits of cooy spelled KOI. They are my favorite CBD brand.
Not that long ago, they came out with these gummies
that are mushroom based that won't have you tripping balls. Okay,
(15:19):
they have so many health benefits to them because of
all their ingredients Lions' main hostilus bark hcip ea, l
trip to fan, Rhodiola extract, vitamins B twelve and D three,
and so much more. I love their CBD gummies as well.
And if you are interested, we have a great deal

Koy CBD dot com slash perez and get started. And
(16:04):
I think I even mispronounced that it's Musk and Mind
just to be accurate. Musk and Mind gummies from Coy.
They know I love them. I love them. I don't
know how to pronounce shit.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I blame it all on being most people thought, that's
not like a word everybody does. It's fine, all right.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
We haven't done this in a while. I'm excited for
a music section about straight up music. And I know
you guys often ask us for our suggestions and what
we like. You know, Booker's all about watching TV. I'm
all about listening to new music. Selena Gomez released a
new single called single Soon. I have my two favorite
(16:44):
music gaze to my besties Mike and John, and they
both think one certain way about this new Selena Gomez song,
and I don't agree with my gazeka. They both love it,
and I just like it. I think it's cute, but
I don't like describing. I don't want to say a
song is cute. I want to say it's a banger. Yeah,
(17:06):
it's not bad. It just feels kind of basic. So
I'm a little underwhelmed, disappointed, but still enjoy it. And
I'm a guess you haven't heard it yet.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
I've heard it, of course, Oh you have, okay, and
it stinks. Oh it's too repetitive, lazy. It sounds like
an album cut. I can't believe she's been gone for
this long. And that's what her team said, Yes, let's
go with this.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
There's an asterisk. She did have a top ten Monster
hit this year. She was on that come Down song.
I don't even know that song. I forget the name
of it. She's featured on it and it's not her
song per se, but she's credited on the song and
it was a big hit. So Also on the same day,
Miley Cyrus released a new song, and we spoke about
that on the Patreon saying that it was coming up
(17:52):
and I thought it was telling that instead of releasing
any other song from her new album that came out
just a few months ago, she released a brand new song.
It's called Used to Be Young. I fucking love the
new Miley Cyrus song. Is it Perhaps not a radio smash,
maybe not because it's a power ballad, but I love it.
(18:14):
If I had one critique, it feels like she set
out to create an Adele song and it's not as
good as an Adele song, but it's still a great song.
Does that make sense? Like it feels like a copy
of an Adele song.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
She was going for that vibe you think, yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
But I love it. I love it.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I'd love to hear what you think.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
I'll give it a proper listen, and I'll tell you
what I.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
There's another song I love that is gonna be a
monster hit. It's already a monster hit because it's gone
super viral. It's this brand new artist called Paul Russell
and the song is Lil Boothing and it's just basically,
you know, got a huge sample from this disco classic.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
It's not even a sample, it's the song and he
just sings over it. Yeah, a sample is like I'm
gonna use five seconds of it. They played the song
and he sings over it. It has zero creativity. But
I do agree with Perez it will be big because
it's one of those familiar disco songs that everybody in
the world knows.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Speaking of creativity, but in a way, this guy is
kind of like bb REXA and I love bb Rexa,
but she's never gonna be an a list pop star
and this guy's never going to be an a list
pop star, even though they're both so talented, and I
always wonder why. So I'm talking about Charlie Pooth, insanely
(19:35):
talented guy, so versatile. I love that all of his
music evolves and he's constantly trying new things. His new
single is called Lipstick and it's just so dope. Check
it out. Charlie Pooth Lipstick.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Love Charlie Good guys all right.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
In more music related news, Lizzo is not going out
without a fight. According to her lawyer, Pitbull attorney Martin singer,
Lizzo is planning to sue her former backup dancers over
their quote bogus lawsuit. They have made countless allegations against
her and she is adamant that it is a sham
(20:14):
and she will win her case against hum. Also an
update since our Patreon. On the Patreon, we talked about
Britney Spears possibly reconciling with her dad Jamie. That seemed
real shocking to me, And now we're hearing a conflicting
report saying that Brittany does not have any interest whatsoever
(20:34):
in reconciling with her dad. So take that for what
it is.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
I take it exactly for what it is. Somebody that's uh,
has one thought one second, and like a butterfly flies
by and that original thought is gone and there's a new,
completely opposite thought coming her way that contradicts the original thought.
That's exactly what I think that is.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Well, thankfully things have been pretty quiet for Britney Spears.
I'm happy about that, and I did have thought. I'm
surprised that Kevin Fetterline and her kids haven't sold any
story to the media yet about Brittany and her divorce
and what she's going through right now. So that's a
(21:15):
good thing.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Well, let me ask you this, So you don't think
that the one time that they did that, the backlash
was so strong and the fury was so mighty that
maybe they'd think twice about ever doing that again.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Or they don't need the money right now, but when
they do need the money, they'll do it.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah. Maybe.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
In more family related news, this is it's not surprising,
it's not I mean part of it is surprising. So
you know, we all know Hugh Hefner, and I'm guessing
when Hugh Hefner died, he didn't die with a ton
of money in the bank. He probably lived a very
expensive life and enjoyed that. And I think that's what
(21:55):
we should do, Like we shouldn't give leave our kids
fifty million dollars. I mean maybe if you're a billionaire,
all right, fine, whatever, But obviously Hugh Hefner wasn't a billionaire.
And one of his sons, he has several children, but
his son, Marston Hefner, is now an only fans creator
selling adult images of himself and he's thirty three years old,
(22:20):
and his family has upset at him over this.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Well, yeah, his.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Family is like, you can be the CEO of selling
skin but not getting naked yourself, right, isn't that a
little hypocritical? I mean his mom is a former playboy model.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, but the mom didn't have kids at the time,
and maybe there's an embarrassment attached to that. But I
think when it gets to having a family, I think
sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and if
that's the only option available, then that's what you're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
And the guy does have a family, He's married and
has at least one child.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
So that's hard to work out with your spouse though.
I mean, if your spouse is against it, then no.
If I wanted to put my dick on OnlyFans and
Kellen was like, uh no, the answer is going to
be no.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
The spouse is apparently not supportive, so there's a lot
of drama there. Oh yeah, yeah, speaking of drama and
family issues. God, well, there's all right. Celebrities are not
normal people, and obviously, and I understand the draw and
allure of being with a celebrity, but if you're a
normal person, I would not have subjected myself to what
(23:30):
Matthew McConaughey's wife did. Matthew McConaughey's wife, super hot former
model Gamila Alvis, revealed in a new interview that when
she first started dating Matthew McConaughey, his mother was a
total biach to her on purpose, calling her by his
(23:51):
ex girlfriend's name names plural, and in addition to calling
her by his ex girlfriend's names, she would speak Spanish
to her, even though she's Brazilian and not Spanish and
doesn't speak Spanish, speaks Portuguese, And after they got into
the big fight, the mother was like, now you're part
of the family, Like, what the fuck is that about? No?
Speaker 1 (24:12):
I get it totally.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
No, I don't get it. That's boy.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Let me explain to you what happened there. That's properly
testing it.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
That fuck.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
That's probably vetting because she wants to make sure that
this that's ridiculous. Listen to me. I don't guarantee you
that everyone's gonna agree with what I'm about me.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
No, they're not.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
No, No, every mother is about to agree what I'm
about it, right, go ahead. I believe that it's part
of the vetting where she understands that every woman is
going to try to throw themselves at her son because
he's one of the most famous people on the planet.
She wants to find out and make sure that this
person is in it for the long haul, can take
(24:52):
all of the rocks it's going to be thrown at you.
And it's just not some trick that's looking for money
and trying to, I don't know, take what he's built.
I think that's just part of what she did. Look,
I don't recommend it, but I understand it is what
I'm saying, and I think a lot of people would
agree with that. You're talking about crazy celebrity and a
guy that is that level. You don't want to see
(25:14):
somebody come in and try to take that away, and
it happens often. Hello Britney Spears. So yeah, I don't
really have a problem with any of that. I think
it's kind of funny. It's not like she harmed her
in any way. So what she's spoken another language to her.
It called her other names on purpose, just to shake
the tree a little bit. I don't have no problem
with that.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
I do. I think it's rude, It's.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Totally rude, but there's a purpose for it.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Yeah, the purpose is the way a dumb person thinks. Sorry,
Mom and sorry you, because if a woman is money
hungry enough and fame hungry enough, she'll be a fucking
doormat and will put up with anything like That's not
the kind of person you. You don't want a doormat
for your husband, for your child. I don't want a
doormat for my child.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
But that's what she was trying to protect. She was
trying to say, I want someone that's gonna fight for
my son, and she did. It's the opposite of doormat,
complete opposite. I want someone that's gonna be there no
matter what, even if I'm in your fucking girl, I
still want someone that's gonna be on my husband's side.
I wouldn't do it, but I understand it is all
(26:21):
that I'm saying. I think people will buy that wrap.
I'm telling you.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
I don't even understand the point though, because like, if
the child likes this person, nothing that mom says or
does is gonna make that child and not like the person.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
Yeah, I don't know. I think a mom not liking
the son's partner can definitely swear you if you're gonna
stay with that person for the long run. I disagree
with that wholeheartedly. If you finally found somebody, and your
mom was like, this guy's an asshole. She would get
in your ear enough, what are you gonna do? Kick
your mom out?
Speaker 2 (26:52):
No? No, But I'm like, I'm an adult mom, I
can make my own decisions. Duh. You know, it's not
going to marry that person, So it's not like I'm
gonna have kids with that person. So I guess if
it was a different scenario than perhaps it even more
complicated family matters. Prince Harry is days away from returning
to the UK. However, according to reports, he will not
(27:16):
be seeing his family. He's going for a charity event
and he's also not taking his kids, which to me,
that's perhaps the saddest part of it all. Like I
get it you're estranged from your folks and your whole family,
but you're alienating your children from your family. I mean,
I guess if you're a strange from your family, then
(27:37):
your kids are a strange from your family too. That
it's sad. Also, in happier news, two things and then
we'll take some calls. There's a scary incident recently at
this ninety second Straight y panel discussion in New York
where this guy who's been stalking Drew Barrymore showed up
(27:58):
and this is being live streams, and then a couple
days after that, he showed up outside her house in
the Hamptons. Well, that guy has been arrested, so hopefully,
you know, he can stay far far away from her
and perhaps even you know, seek psychiatric help now. And finally,
all that drama with Keiki Palmer and her baby Daddy
(28:20):
that we discussed of her going to the Usher residency
in Vegas and him calling her out for what she wore,
then she appeared in Usher's new music video. Well, the
baby Daddy just turned thirty and Kiki celebrated his birthday
with him and called him my partner in crime. So
it seems like they're back together, which I'm glad about
(28:42):
because breaking up over a fucking tweet and ridiculousness over
a fucking Usher concert would have been so dumb.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Well, his ego was a little bruised and he let
his emotions get the best of him by putting it online.
But it doesn't mean that there's huge problems in their relationship.
It's just they had a huge, uge moment that they
didn't see eye to eye on and anybody in a
relationship can fucking totally understand that.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Yeah, it was a very public moment.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Too well, he had amount of jealousy when that happens.
Put down your phone, is what I would say to anyone.
Put your phone down. You don't need to be tweeting.
And by the way, can we all just go ahead
at this point and just say, hey, elon, this X thing,
no one's doing it. No one's saying I extra reextor
(29:27):
you have a brand name. People don't want to adapt.
They just don't. I don't see anybody doing I don't
see the news. I see the logo has changed and
it's a bad logo on top of it. But I
don't see anybody going on X. It was said that
blah blah blah blah blah, just change it back. Elon,
you missed it happens.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Well and actually taking it a step further, you know,
because my job is not just pop culture but also
social media. One of the things is that's most annoying
for me that as somebody in that tech world, you
would think that he would think about these things, if
not seo search friendly X. Like if a celebrity tweeted
(30:08):
something ridiculous and shocking, or just you just want to
look up a celebrity's Twitter account. You can't do. You know,
Kiky Palmer X. Twitter's not going to show up. If
you do Kiky Palmer X. To do Kicky Palmer Twitter,
then her Twitter will show up, you.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Like, if you do Kicky Palmer X, it might take
you like some X hit or whatever.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
She was on X Factor once.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Yeah, exactly, yeah, exactly, so fucking dumb.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
I always say it, just because you're great at one
thing doesn't mean you're great at another thing. You see
it happen a lot. I get it. He wants to
change Twitter to more like WhatsApp and how that works
in Europe. Fine, to develop that stuff for Twitter, then
maybe change the name. But this is a swing and
a miss.

Slash players choice restrictions apply. Let's go to some calls
a present Booker.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
My favorite podcast you of this is Chloe from Pittsburgh.
I just wanted to offer a different perspective to Perez
about Rockel asking for her truement to be covered. I
totally agree with Booker. I'm a pediatric nurse in a
pretty well known hospital and we have nurses all the
time who have to take sabbaticals for mental health. I've
(33:09):
had a few nurses that I know, you know, have
to get pretty intensive treatment because of things that they
see in the hospital and at the end of the day,
insurance just covers you know, one session a week with
a therapist or thirty days if you're a lucky in
patient stay for mental health treatment. And at the end
(33:30):
of the day, it is not a big corporations job
to cover your medical bills. And if it was going
to be, hopefully like the small peons like us would
get helped first. So Raquel was basically asking for not
only a raise to meet tom and Ariana salary, but
essentially a two hundred thousand dollars bonus to cover her
(33:52):
medical bills. Bookers right on this one. The big corporations
do not cover health and medical needs like they should.
But maybe that should be a conversation starter. All right, bye, guys.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
I mean I don't agree with that. Just because they
don't do it doesn't mean they shouldn't do it. They
should do it well.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
It should rain eminems on Tuesday, is what I always say.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Another call, Hey Booker, Hey Perez is el from Jersey
Patreon supporter calling about, of course the Britney Spears stuff.
I have to pause because although I don't know everything,
I think I know a little bit more than apparently
Booker about Brittany's like young childhood, in her history with
her parents and all of the show ponyings that they
(34:36):
subjected her to, and she was the moneymaker for all
those years. I agree with Perez that, yeah, that does
kind of warp your sense of family. I don't think
it's fair to compare perez the situation to Brittany at all.
I think we all hope for the best and Brittany
needs to men the relationships with her parents while she
(34:57):
has them. But yeah, they were really shitty, trashy parents
to Brittany, and I think a lot of her resentment
is warranted. Listen to the Disgrace land To Part podcast
on her back story and you will be a bit
better informed. Love you guys by.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Okay, Yeah, I love calls like that.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Brittany wanted to be famous and they helped her facilitate that.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Now she was like, what six years old? Eight years old?
Are you even capable to make that decision? Now?
Speaker 1 (35:26):
If you want to do something. When I was six
or eight, I wanted to play baseball, so my parents
said okay, and I joined the Little League and I
went out and I gave it my all because I
loved it so much. It sucks. I didn't make it
to the major leagues, but I was into it. She
may have been as well.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
But that's different. Like at six years old. At eight
years old, you don't know everything that comes with fame
and appear She wasn't does when.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
She was six or eight, she was essentially me playing baseball.
It was a hobby at that point.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
No, but she did. Shortly after she did start working professionally.
She did star search. She did an off Broadway musical.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Maybe wanted to do that.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
I understand that she wanted to do that, but it's
still the parents' responsibility to say, is this what's best
for my child's future? And clearly, as this caller said,
with all of the information she has and that I had,
the parents obviously weren't just about supporting what Britney wanted.
It was about also, you know, milking Brittany and oh,
(36:28):
our child has potential to be a star. Let's let's
make this happen. You know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
I don't know either because I wasn't there. But I
can see both sides of it, I guess, and I
don't consider myself an expert when it comes to Britney's
stardom At the age of seven. I don't fucking know
what she wanted or what they thought she wanted, but
I'll just say the same thing. I thought I was
going to be a major league baseball player at seven,
and I played every single day and I loved it,
(36:53):
and my parents dragged me fucking everywhere to play, and
I'm thankful for it. I loved it. Here we go,
we'll more call all right.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Hey, guys, love the podcast. I'm just listening to the
current one.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
I had to stop it and call you.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
About bertiey Spears and Perez. I don't think you're correct,
and I think focus correct.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
On this mental illness she has is a.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
Bipolar I don't know, but he knew going into it
what he was dealing with. There is no way he
did not know who she was or what she was
capable of going into it.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
I am one hundred percent.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
Positive, and she probably got to a point where she's
refusing to take her meds and.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
What have you.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
I know people with bipolar and the med suck, and
just because you want to get better doesn't mean you
want to.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Take the medication. But he knew what he was going into.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Her history a r We get your point.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Well, I have nothing else to add. I don't want
to repeat myself.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah, same with me.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Okay it up, I disagree with her.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yeah, but thank you for your call.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Thank you for your call. Patreon dot com, slash as Hilton,

Speaker 1 (38:23):
What I did.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Can we talk about the TikTok because that's how you
deleted it and I need to know. I wasn't gonna
bring it up and down And you're.

twenties and beyond.
Speaker 2 (38:39):

they like you, you'll know if you don't, if they don't,
you'll be confused. But some people I don't know. We
hope you guys will join us every Wednesday for brand
new episodes right here on podcast one.
