Speaker 2 (01:07):
Perez Hilton the PHP.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Hi, Hello, welcome to the PHP. That's Perez, a booker.
What's up?
Speaker 5 (01:15):
Oh my gosh, so much is We're going to be
talking Prince Harry upsetting a lot of people. Kanye West
dominating pop culture, Britney Spears being very public with her
feud against her sister.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
We're going to get into the Novak situation, which has
come to a resolution, talking Joe Rogan and so much more.
But first, how are you. I'm good. We had our
iHeartRadio Alter Ego show this weekend, so I was very
very busy for the past couple of days. But I'm
home and it's MLK Day today, so I'm relaxing, So
(01:54):
there you go. It was a good concert. Oh, it
was great. Avril Levine was the surprise guest. I think
we're best friends. Now we're two peas in a pod.
I don't know what's going on there, but we're friends. Yeah.
That was great. Case of Leon were great, Coldplay always
kills and who was the headliner? Cold Play? I mean
we had so many headliners. I mean twenty one pilots
cold Play, twenty one pilots. Oh interesting. Yeah. To be
(02:18):
honest with you, I watched most of the show and
a monitor because I was so freaking busy, which was
fine because I didn't want to be out with people.
To be honest with you, just it's too scary.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
I saw those maskless photos of you and the musician.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Well that's yeah, but keep in mind that's backstage. We
all were tested, PCR tested that morning. You couldn't get
in my room without an orange band that said you
were tested that day. Artists included. It was no joke.
I'm glad you had fun. I had a good weekend too,
mostly chill, but I took my son to the New
Scream movie, which, yeah, some people are like, why are
(02:53):
you taking your son to see such a violent movie?
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Because he wanted to, and because it's a movie, it's.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Not real life, didn't he was out on the last
no no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
That was halloweing horror nights.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Oh oh, you're different experience, right, you're right right for
some reason in the movies, he's fine, he's fine. The
in person thing that.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Was just next level for I got you, I gotcha.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Anyways, if you haven't seen the New Scream movie, I
won't do any spoilers here. I just really enjoyed it. Also,
over the last week I got into some I wouldn't
even call it an argument, it's not an argument. But
I was mentioned in an interview that Tara Reid gave.
She was in American Pie and all of those movies.
(03:39):
She did The Big Lebowski back in the nineties. She
was engaged to Carson Daily for a while. That's right,
and in this interview, Tara Reid literally says that I
am responsible for her career floundering. Your spons I did
read because press said it to me. It was awesome
(03:59):
playing offense. I like that, Yeah, I said.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Some people were also upset up my response and I'm like,
fuck you, fuck them. My response was, and I think
I remember verbatim, I said I could have covered terror
read's then sloppiness and very public behavior with more empathy.
But some people are like, why do you have to
be so snarkier. I'm like, listen, we don't need to
(04:23):
rewrite history. He was sloppy that I didn't make her
behave the way that she did. She was well documented.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
It's well on oparazzi that countless. We can't wash history.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
What happened happened. I could have been more compassionate. Yes,
So before we really get to the show, this is
my desperate not desperate, not desperate, But this is my overture.
I wouldn't even call it a plea, my overture. If
there's anybody listening or watching that has any connections and
(04:58):
could get me in to see Adele in Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
You're God, Quit pandering to our audience. I would know
connections with Adele.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Well, but maybe there's some Vegas people that have Vegas
connections and then.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Call up on your own time and it's just not
show material. Give me a break.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
I emailed her manager, who I used to have a
relationship with, and he ghosted me.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, I wonder why why tell me? Why, bitch? What
do you mean why why? I'll quote my favorite movie again,
because you're a boil on the ass of humanity.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Well, I have two Adele platinum plaques in my house
they sent me for helping out back in the day.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
They love you when you need you, you know what
I mean, And then you move on.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
I mean, I know, I get it, all right, I
get that. I understand they I know exactly what you said.
But it's like, you know, at least respond to my
email and be like, oh, we're totally sold out, you know,
like at least be courteous.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah, not like I expected tickets, no no, no, no no,
but at.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
Least quick respect. It's like, oh, we uh, you know whatever.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Love yeah, you's not helping your cause. See, you do
shit like this, and then you sit and wonder like,
why can't I get a response? Because you're being an
asshole right now? Okay, yes you are. You're calling them
out for not responding to you. If you don't get that,
that is horrible behavior. If you don't get that, it's
mind blowing to me. You're you're calling out Adele's team
(06:24):
for not answering you back right now. You're literally calling
them out. But that's not horrible behavior. That's horrible behavior.
It lacks tack and class. You do it on your
own time, write, then you don't need to go on
a platform and then call them out. You're just not
talking to me. We're not on the phone. Okay, you
can say that on the phone. We're doing a show.
(06:45):
These are the holes in your personality that you just
clearly don't understand. You don't, I know, that's it. You don't.
You never think it's just as horrible to dose of me. Okay,
you just don't get attack. You're really wrong here. I
just made a very very valid point and argument why
people would like not want you on their side, but
(07:07):
you're calling them out publicly so it happens. If you
were truly on their side, or you truly understood, you
would know better than to go onto a platform and
say these people could have at least called me back
like now or whatever.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
That is the profess calling them out.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
It is the professional. It's also the professional thing to
zip your lip and not tell anyone this. That's the
professional thing to do. I don't get how you don't
get that you're hilarious.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
But I wasn't trashing anybody. I just you are inadvertently.
It's like you always say this bullshit like old Perez.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
No, it's just Perez. Okay, this is the same behavior.
You're just choosing your words differently. It's a little softer,
I get. And it's not like you're not fuck them
they're assholes, but you're still publicly calling someone out for
not getting your way. No, yes, it's exactly what just happened. No,
I literally said, I had no expectations of tickets. It
(08:11):
would have just been and I even said, and it
would have been what continue and it would have been fine.
I would have understood it like I get it anybody.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
And the next part the tickets, I literally said in
the email, I even said, I literally understand you know
that you're probably flood with the tickets.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
I'm not.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
I wouldn't be upset if I don't get any I
just figured I would ask, so I thought I sent
a really polite email and did.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
But then he went on this show and explained what
you did, which inadvertently nothing them out for not responding
to you. I don't care, I would do, I know,
but you I just I'm just trying to connect the
dots for you. When you wondered why they don't call
you back, or you wonder why you don't get the
things that you want. This is it. This is the reason.
(08:58):
Ask your therapist about this. Okay, forget about me for
a minute. Just ask the therapist.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
Okay, okay, So you believe then that professionals should cover
up unprofessional behavior of others.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yes, that's why you don't disagree. Okay, there we go,
simple as that. Let's keep it moving. It's cool. I'm
trying to make you understand something that you clearly do
not understand. That I should have tapped. No no no, no,
every no no. Everything you said is fine. If we
were on the phone, everything you said is fine. You're
(09:33):
not if we were on the podcast. We're on the air, Okay,
I know that, but you are calling them an asshole,
is the point. I'm not, yes, you kind of all.
They could have at least called me back. You're saying
someone that works for her team isn't doing their job,
and you're on a public platform telling people that.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
It's not like I'm a stranger to these people. Also,
that's not helping your case.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Let me since I don't disagree with you, you're right,
let me finish.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
It's not like do a leaper, right. I have no
idea who du Aleipa's manager is. If I sent an
email to do Aleipa's manager and he ghosted me, all right, whatever,
no big deal. I haven't worked with du Aleipa's manager
in the past. I don't have a relationship with du
Aleipa or her manager.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
You're digging. I'm not digging my home because you are
saying you have a relationship with those people, and you're
putting it on blast right now. Honey, how do you
not see that it's not the end of the world
you're making It isn't the end of the world. But
it's unprofessional on your part as well. I'm not trying
to make a dig at you. I'm just trying to
(10:41):
make you understand.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
Now, Howard, friend, this is something Howard Stern would do.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
I would never speak for Howard. I have no idea.
I don't know if he would reach out to someone.
I don't know if he would go on his show
and blast someone for not getting him tickets. That's not
really a Howard thing to do.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
But you, anybody, all right, we're wasting so much.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
We are, We totally are. It's fine. It's you.
Speaker 5 (11:02):

our sponsors or as many as possible. Okay, all right,
let's start off today by talking about Kanye West. Let's
(12:27):
start in chronological order, talking about Kanye West. Thursday morning, overnight,
like around three am, Kanye, according to reports, got into
a physical altercation with somebody. Allegedly it was a paparazzo
or a professional autograph seeker. However, according to reports, Kanye
(12:51):
responded with violence. Perhaps he was being agitated and egged
on ad Jason Derulo situation.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Where something similar happened to him in Vegas. But is
it so hard to ignore somebody? He confessed to it.
He literally boasted, He boasted about assaulting this guy. Let
me read to you the exact quote that blue COVID
mask ain't gonna stop that knockout. Is he claiming self
(13:21):
defense or do we know? Like what went down? Did
the guy take a swing at him. Did was he
taunting him? He was taunting him?
Speaker 5 (13:30):
God, I don't want to read the whole thing to
stop me at any time as far as the paparazzi
goes right like it wasn't a fan. It was three
am in the front of the warehouse. I'm saying, you
don't know what I'm dealing with right now. I just
finished these two songs. I came from the studio and
this dude just he had this real attitude, like what
you're gonna do and see that. I'm gonna just tell
(13:50):
you that blue COVID mask ain't stop that knockout.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Some guy was taunting him and Kanye knocked him out
and he to it.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
But is there more? I mean, was that the confession?
That's the confession?
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Yeah, and people were there, there were witnesses, okay, so,
but they were saying like he Kanye assaulted this guy,
Like the guy didn't do anything to him, like we
know it might have absolutely was probably provoked.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
No, no, no, I mean with violence is my question, Like
did the guy touch Kanye? Did the guy I haven't
read that. No. Yeah, So I'm just trying to figure out.
If he's provoked, could mean many things. Provoked means he
couldn't provoke. Okay, there we go. I guess that's what
I'm getting at.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
Let me give you a spoiler alert and I'll tell
you exactly how this is all going to pan out.
Kanye was gonna get sued by that guy. Kanye will
give that guy fifty to one hundred thousand dollars. The
guy won't press charges, won't cooperate, and this will all
go away, and Kanye's.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Money, Like your spoiler alert.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
Kanye's money is going to protect him and absolve him
from these sins that he committed, because that's most often
it always happens. But Chris Jenner has taken notes Kanye
getting violent with the paparazzo.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Nope. Also, that's a good point.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
You know, he's not divorced yet from Kim Kardashian. They
have not settled everything yet. And in addition to getting
into a physical altercation with the paparazzo, he also made
a violent threat against Pete Davidson. Yes, his lawyer could
argue he was joking, he said it in a song,
(15:33):
But would you joke about violence against your wife? Still
wife's new boyfriend if you're not divorced yet. I don't
know if that's the smartest thing.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
I don't know if it's actionable, but look, when custody
is on the line, I don't know what it would.
We'd have to get a lawyer to figure out, like
if this has anything to do with the money and
how they I definitely think that a judge, if presented
with all of this, takes it all into consideration. That's right.
So in this new song that was originally leaked and
now officially released, Kanye wrapped, God saved Me from the
(16:08):
crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass. I
think he's suffering from the weekend syndrome.
Speaker 5 (16:18):
Ly Oh, I don't know about that.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I mean beat his ass into getting my way. I
mean it could mean anything. I don't think a judge
is going to listen to this crap. God damn goofy lyric.
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
I think there's a reason why Kim is being extra
cautious around Kanye. Now, according to Kanye, this is not
according to reports, not according to sources. According to Kanye
and his big mouth himself. He said on Instagram story
(16:50):
that he showed up to pick up his kids at
their house and security would not let him go into
the house because Pete Davidson was there. So I need
to be clear because Kim Kardashian is not stopping Kanye
from picking up the kids. They had agreed to that
(17:12):
go pick up the kids. She just didn't want him
going into the house. Yeah, and that upset him. But
you know what, you're not together anymore. Kanye wants to.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Continue everything as it was, and things aren't like they
were anymore. Are they legally separated yet? Yes, they're not
legally divorced, and that is a thing, right like you're
legally separated.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Yes, Okay. Last month, Kim Kardashian filed documents to declare
herself legally single. So I don't want to give incorrect information.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
I just wonder what the when the rights kick in
to the property, and when you can tell someone they
can't come in. I think that's that's got to be
part of separation. I would think, I don't know. I
haven't I So we've got lawyers that listen that could
clear that up if you want to.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Anyways, I think it's healthy and good that Kim Kardashian
is setting up boundaries protecting her happiness and what she
wants for herself, and Kanye is not being respectful of that.
And Kanye also is airing his dirty laundry very publicly,
(18:21):
while Kim Kardashian, I would say very tactfully, has remained
completely silent and not said a single thing over the
last month.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
She is a lawyer in training. I don't know if
that's ever going to come to fruition, but I'm sure
she knows that aspect of the law. That's probably pretty
general stuff that you're dealing with. I mean, like I
always say, people don't talk for a reason. It all
could come out in court, it could end up in documents,
and you know that's just proof for something. It's probably
been told to her say nothing. So that was the
(18:55):
first big thing.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
Then Kanye made a huge to do an incredibly upset
over not being invited to his daughter's birthday party Chicago,
who turned four. And you and I disagree on this.
First of all, let me go with your train of thought.
(19:17):
Historically you've said, and I would think you are going
to say that Kanye should.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Have been invited to this birthday party.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
I should specify it with a joint birthday party for
Kim's daughter Chicago and Kylie's daughter Stormy. So I'm going
to assume you think Kanye should have been invited. But
if you're then going to invite.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Kanye, don't make that assumption. Oh okay, So do you
think Kanye should have been invited? I mean, typically when
we talk about this stuff, we're talking about divorced parents,
and we're not talking about people that are in the
throes of separation and strife. What is happening now, This
is a hot situation with someone's that's put out their
(20:01):
behavior that's questionable. So no, I don't necessarily think he
should be Now, if I'm the parents, I try to
figure it out. I try to say, hey, we need
to do this somehow. It is his kid, and it
is the kid's birthday, and dad does want to be there.
I would tactfully try to figure it out, but I
wouldn't say you have to, you don't have to. I mean,
(20:24):
it's just.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
So complicated too, because all of Kim's feelings are valid.
He cheated on her, he admitted to cheating on her,
He's made her life hell, He's continuing to make her life.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Hell, and he's still the parent.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
R no, no, and and even if all of that
and you're considering, you know, being the bigger person and
inviting him, it just also makes things complicated because Kanye
has family that lives in Los Angeles. Do you have
to then invite his family to.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Come to you. I don't think this is a there's
a definitive answer. Situation. Well, I'm inviting our listeners and
viewers as well. Do you just invite Kanye? I'm getting
ahead of this. I'm just thinking that they're thinking what
I'm thinking. It just depends on the situation. Every situation
is different. You know nothing about this situation except for
he's a rapper that says stuff in his songs that's stupid,
(21:24):
and there's some assault thing that I'm still not convinced
was assault. So all right, So this is where it's
According to reports and sources, Kim was under the impression
that Kanye was going to throw his own birthday party
for his daughter. I would still think a text or
an email could clarify that.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
Once again coming from her, Fine, here's as well said it.
Here's another issue or question. Why couldn't Kanye have handled
his private family drama privately.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Because he doesn't. He never has, and nor has she
in the past either.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
Yes, she has, she's been. She's barely talked about, not.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Talking about Kanye. I'm talking about when they got together.
These weren't two private, behind wall citizens that we didn't
know anything about. This is a reality star that's aired
out every single element of her body, of her being,
of her life, of her family's life. Give me a
fucking break if that's what you're trying to tell me. No,
(22:25):
she has it, and once again you're wrong. No, no, no,
that's what she signed up for, and that's what he
signed up for. Things can change, and they change. Okay, fine,
but you knew what you got into, and people change.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
Kim has been very respectful towards Kanye and his mental
health and his struggles and his issues. No one's there
on their reality show. You don't really, We didn't really
see that discussed at length or at.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
All even really. Okay, well, it's been asked on TV
shows and she has talked about it and from her mouth.
So look, this is a very not black and white situation.
This is reality. People that signed up for this reality life. Okay,
it's probably hard to draw lines in the sand for
(23:12):
him and for her and for all of this, because
what's public consumption, what's real? What's bullshit? What's a TV show?
What's reality? Not reality? With these people who knows they're
playing a different game than we're privy to, is all
that I'm saying. I'm not saying anyone's right or wrong.
I just think that there's a lot of different games
going on. There's a lot of pieces on the board. Well,
(23:34):
I don't think Kim is playing any games other than
trying to look out for the best interests of her
kids and her mental health. Okay, I can't like that either.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
I'm not some big ass Kardashian defender, but I'd like
to call it like I see it.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Look, Yes, this is all very messy, as you like
to say. There's kids involved. There's real life things that
bled into this bullshit reality life that they created with
character is in it that are supposed to be real
human beings and behave like real human beings. These people don't, okay,
and her included, by the way, her included, This is
(24:09):
a whole different ball of wax.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
And honestly, if I'm a four year old and sometimes
I behave like a four year old. If mom asks me, Perez,
do you want to have one birthday party or two?
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Fifteen? Is your answer? Oh? Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
I like so a kid would be happy to have
more than one birthday party.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
That's sensible. I mean, I hear what you're saying, but
I think it's just like we're in the heat of this,
and I think that's the answer to everything. Well, Kanye
ended after going live on Instagram and complaining that he
didn't get he didn't even know where the party was at.
Travis Scott, wh was it? Chuck E Cheese?
Speaker 5 (24:49):
I think it was at Kylie's house, think Travis.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
That's a whole other thing too. On top of it,
let's say it's at Kylie's house. Yeah, he doesn't need
to be invited to that. That is her. Now, if
it's a Kim and Kanye's house, I think that's a
different situation too. But I'm pretty sure it was at
Kylie's house.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Like I said at the beginning, it was a joint
birthday party for Stormy and Chicago. Yeah, and Travis Scott
ended up giving Kanye the details and he showed up
and he was there.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
But in lighter news. His new girlfriend, Julia Fox, continues
to be Kim Kardashian two point zho, except she's an actress.
She gave another interview to Interview magazine, and she said
things like, I just feel really safe with him, and
(25:39):
I'm surrendering myself to him. She sounds like the ultimate
groupie like man.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
Like, I'm just so honored to be in his presence.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
And so let's put a timer on this. Three weeks
over under. I'm setting it they'll be together for three weeks.
More than that, Oh you're going over yeah, because she's
getting a lot of buzz right now, and I'm sure
Kanye loves that because he loves the attention. So I
do think it'll last for a bit.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
I don't know how long, but I definitely think it'll
last more than three weeks. She's also got her own podcast,
and she's talking about Kanye on her podcast, and.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
You gotta be kidding me. Nope, Wow, it's crazy. All right, Well,

Speaker 5 (28:11):
Guess let's just start with the facts. Prince Harry at
the very beginning wanted to have his cake and eat
it too, as they said, right, we know, way back
in twenty twenty when he announced that he was stepping
down as a.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Senior working royal. However, I need to remind everybody that
he didn't want to completely step down and I respect this.
The way that the.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Monarchy has been working in the UK for decades is
a certain way. One of the ways that it has
worked is if you're a senior royal, there is a
protocol the process of how things have to work. Prince
Harry wanted his own voice, you know, he wanted to
be able to call the shots and say, well, I
(28:58):
want to speak for myself and release my own statement,
and I want to be able to do this or
not do this, And Her Majesty the Queen said no,
you can't do it that way. If you want to
be a working royal, you have to do it like
we've been doing it. So he just decided, okay, well
I don't want to then I'm going to walk away completely.
(29:18):
When he walked away completely, his royal protection was taken
away from him here in the United States. He now
has a US team of security professionals that he pays for, however,
and this has upset a lot of people. Anything that
Prince Harry and Megan Markle do will upset.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
A lot of people.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
He is fighting the UK government, the Home Office, it's
called the Home Office, is responsible for security in the UK.
And the issue is Prince Harry has not taken his
children to the United Kingdom ever since twenty nineteen because
(30:00):
he doesn't think they're safe there because he no longer
gets royal protection and he's fighting the Home Office. And
this actually seems reasonable ish, it seemed no, it seems
totally reasonable. But I'll present to you.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
The counter argument, he wants to pay out of his
own pocket to get the kind of protection that he
used to get. It's like Secret Service protection, right, Like
the children are former presidents. I don't know if they're
guaranteed Secret Service protection forever. But let's say if you're
a child of the former president who's a billionaire, and
(30:36):
if you want to keep your secret, if you want
to pay for your Secret Service protection, I would have
no problem with that, would you know if it's at
no cost to the taxpayers that you just want that
heightened security, all right, Fine, you're paying for it. I'm
cool with that.
Speaker 5 (30:52):
That's basically what Prince Harry wants in the United Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
But he wants the United Kingdom's protection. Yes, he wants
the United Kingdom's protection, and he's willing to pay for it.
I got youa. But he also stepped down. So why
doesn't he just hire his own Because.
Speaker 5 (31:08):
Here's why I did my research before our show today.
They have different gun laws in the United Kingdom. Oh
and they're not allowed to carry Private security is not
allowed to carry guns, and he just I think he
just wants his security there.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
To have guns. Then don't step down, he did. I mean,
if you want to be a normal person, the normal
person can't have private security that has guns. I mean
that's you know, he still is a royal. I don't know, just.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Well, that's exactly what he said. He's still a royal.
He was born into this.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
He did not choose that, but he did choose to
step down. So it's like saying, still a royal and
he still has that risk, no, no associate, he does.
But he also said I don't want to be a
royal and I don't want anything to do with this.
But he's still a royal. He's just not a working royal.
But I guess my point is it's like cake and
eating it too. If I don't want it, then you
can't take the some of the things, the perks. If
(32:03):
you're punting on it all, you have to pump on
the perks as well. But he's willing to pay for it.
I don't get what the situation is. I mean, I
see your point, like you're saying, well, let me use
the accommodations that I'm used to. I know I've punted
from them, however I'll pay to have them there. And
they're like those are just four people that are royals,
(32:24):
and you said you didn't want to be a royal.
I mean, I kind of see both sides of the argument,
but I don't know. I mean, he's he's a royal there.
I mean I would just give it to him just
because why not just give them the extra security they
need it there. The bigger issue is some people in
the UK think it's an ego issue that he just
thinks he's bigger than he is. Because first of all,
(32:46):
his mom fucking died from people chasing him around, chasing
her around. You can't fault him for wanting the maximum
amount of protection. Listen, if this was like an actress
that wanted this different story, the biggest Meryl Streep wants
this different story, She's just an actor. I would want
the protection just to sleep, well, you know what I mean,
(33:08):
Like I would just say, look, did you.
Speaker 5 (33:09):
Just change your mind in like the span of sixty seconds.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
I don't think I changed my mind at all.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
No.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
I can see both sides of it. But as I
talk it out and I think about it, you don't
want something to happen again, you don't. He's precious to
a lot of people. Still, they may be divisive. A
lot of people may be just pissed off and done
with them. And I get them saying, hey, you don't
want this stuff, then you don't get this stuff. I
get that side of it too, But then if you
look down the road a little bit, it could be
(33:34):
a dangerous situation. Like I said, this isn't just a
regular actor, This isn't like an a lister whatever. Leonardo
DiCaprio needs this. He is a royal, he was born
that and he's going to be chased like that there
for the rest of his life. So fuck it. Just
give it to him, especially since he's willing to pay
for it. Right, Well, what do you guys think about
the Prince Harry request that he's fighting the UK Home
(33:57):
Office over call us and let us.
Speaker 5 (33:59):
Know eight hundred seven to one one one eight five.
All right, we're gonna talk Novak Yak Djokovic and Britney Spears.
Oh my god. But first, Vota cast. All right, this
is really exciting. If you want to experience our podcast
(34:20):
in a different, multi sensory way, Vota cast is for you.
Voto cast is like another way to consume podcasts. But
while you're consuming the podcast, our show is on Vota
Cast and somebody on the podcast one team is adding
extra content. They can link to articles, so if you
(34:44):
want to dive a little bit deeper, you can link
to articles and read them while listening to a podcast,
or you can watch video. It's just like a different
way to consume podcasts. Vodo cast is So check out
out the Vota Cast app on the App Store or
the Google Store or wherever you download apps. Vota cast.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Check them out. Okay, Vota Cast, let's do novac whatever
fast because I do want to get to Brittany. He
won't get vaccinated and they punted his ass out of Australia.
Good for them. I love you Australia. I love countries
that give no fucks and they're like, we're doing the
right thing and they are doing the right thing. Good
for you, Australia. Well, the bigger issue is he lied
(35:31):
a few times in filling out all of the paperwork,
more than one lie. So what do you expect. You
can't lie.
Speaker 5 (35:41):
When going to another country and you know, filling out
declarations and things like that.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah bye, all right.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
Let's move on to Britney Spears And I moved her
on to later in the show and the lineup just
because you know, you keep telling me people are over
Britney Spears and this drama, but I don't know if
they are. And I want to hear from our list.
Are you fed up with Britney Spears drama or not?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
I think it's just the lengths. This is a good story.
You got two siblings arguing and there you go. That's
a good talking point, all right, So we're like two
siblings arguing.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
Everything kicked off, as the Brits say, kicked off. It
went to a whole other level following Jamie Lynn Spear's
sit down interview with Good Morning America where she claims
she doesn't know why she and her sister are in
this position. Then for days afterwards, it was exhausting, literally
(36:37):
for every day. For several days, both Britney and her
sister were doing this back and forth on social media publicly.
Instead of talking privately, they were airing their grievances on Instagram, story,
on Twitter, like and really going there. And I understand
(37:01):
both sides. I mean, Brittany even went so far as
to call her sister a scum person. And I get
this way too. It's human nature first of all, Okay,
a couple steps back. It's hard as fuck to be
the bigger person because it's human nature when you're being
(37:22):
attacked to dig your heels in.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
And that's kind of what Jamie Lynn Spears said. She's like,
fuck this. I know my sister's going through a lot,
but I'm not going to tolerate lying. You're lying, Brittany,
tell the truth and God, and like, more details came
out from Jamie Lynn's book that you know, Jamie Lynn
was concerned for her children's safety and an alleged incident
(37:47):
with Brittany and a knife where she was concerned for
her own safety as well. Unfortunately or fortunately you know,
really the only people that know what really happened are
Brittany and her sister. And even then, like I've said before,
even then that might be true because of your state
(38:09):
of mind, exactly even happened.
Speaker 5 (38:12):
Exactly, That's what I was about to say.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Like, Brittany may be thinking a certain way and proceeding
or remembering or whatever, and that may not be the truth.
Speaker 5 (38:22):
However, over the last week, Jamie Lynn Spears said repeatedly,
now you can believe her or not, Britney's sister has
said more than once that she did try and gave
her resources and information and tried to help get her
sister out of her conservatorship, which I think is the
(38:44):
biggest cause of strife between Brittany and her sister. Smartly,
Britney's brother does not have social media.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
As I said, He's like, I'm the luckiest person in
the world right now. He is keeping his mouth mouth
shot smart. He's not taken aside publicly. He's not saying
Britney's right or Jamie Lynn's right. He is just staying quiet,
and that's very smart. But not everybody is staying quiet.
One of Jamie Lynn's former co stars is calling her
(39:17):
a bully and you know, getting into things. And smartly, also,
Kevin Fetterline is staying quiet and not saying anything. Kevin
Fetterline has primary custody seventy percent. If when it's in
his time, I would say that if the kids want
to see Grandma, Kevin should allow that. But I'm betting
(39:40):
they're cool. I don't think he wants any part of
the drama. If Grandma wants to come over, Grandma's coming over,
I mean, it's just normal.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
Britney may not want her children seeing the grandma.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Oh, I see what you're saying. But I don't think
Kevin's ever been perceived or known as the enemy. I
think he's just dad in this and I hope that's
the case. She's not mentioned him and forever.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
That's good where we stand right now. Both Brittany and
her sister released.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
They both released the most passive, aggressive, bitchy true statements
like wanting to have there be peace, But they both
handled it in the worst ways possible. Yeah, because I
get it. They are both hurt. They are both hurting
and upset at each other. I wish them well.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
Joe Rogan continues to spread COVID misinformation on his allegedly
very popular podcast, and that has upset a lot of people.
And there's a lot of pressure being put on Spotify
to handle this. How do you think it should be
handled if in any way?
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Yeah, maybe not handled not he does an entertainment show.
It's almost like saying that Fox News should have to
put something on their screen. They just don't tell the truth.
If you're someone claiming to tell the truth, or you're
claiming to be a doctor or whatever, it's a different thing.
If you're an elected official. He's not. He's some dope
(41:12):
with a podcast, like who cares what he thinks. He's
figured out that he can get an audience from saying
some of these things that are contradictory of the truth.
There's a whole sect of society that just wants to
say no when someone's telling you yes.
Speaker 5 (41:28):
But as with Fox News, a lot of people believe
them that's true.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
It's really, honestly the number one downfall of this country
in my opinion, it's this Fox News, not Fox News,
just the dissemination of incorrect facts. Joe Rogan is doing that. Yeah,
but you know, everyone, we keep falling back on this
freedom of speech. Freedom of speech, it's people subscribe to it.
(41:57):
They want to hear that. So I don't know what
this is like, he's not a doctor, you know. If
people want to go around and spout this stuff. So
what I feel badly for the people that believe it.
They're only putting themselves in danger. It is what it is. Though.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
I think at the very minimum they need I'm not
even saying they should. At the very minimum, on whatever
podcast of Joe Rogan's he does talk COVID, they need
a disclaimer at the very beginning that says there is
information discussed in this show that has not been verified
(42:31):
to be true. Your discretion is advised, and please consult
your doctor, or something like that.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
I don't I don't know. If he was a doctor
claiming this horseship, then it's different. But he's an entertainer.
He thinks he's an expert, like he's done all this
reading and all this research. But that's the thing, he
can think whatever he wants. He's still a boob. If
you want to follow the boob, follow the boob, you
know what I mean? Like, who am I to tell
(42:59):
you not to? So? I don't know. I go back
and forth on that. I don't necessarily disagree with what
you just said. I just that's where we are. That's
where we are with this freedom of speech at this moment.
So I don't know what to say.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
Wrapping it up a couple last things, Tiffany Hattish was
arrested for alleged dui in Georgia. However, she was found
with her car pulled over and she was asleep in
the car.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
You get a dui for that? Yeah? Absolutely, I did
not know that.
Speaker 5 (43:34):
How does that make sense?
Speaker 3 (43:36):
It doesn't make sense to be, But that's the law. Yeah,
I would have thought the smarter thing to do was
to pull your car over if you're tired. It's the law.
I don't know what am I going to argue with you.
It's the law. I don't know. Rest in peace again
to Bob Saggott. They just had his.
Speaker 5 (43:49):
Funeral, and you know, it was nice to see the
Olsen twins there. They didn't take part in fuller House,
but obviously he meant a lot to them, and they
showed up at his funeral and you.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Changed your tune. You called them pukes or something last week.
I forget what you called them. I just because they
didn't want to take part in their dumb fucking television show,
The Human Beings. Well it was something to that effect.
I can't quote you exactly.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
Anyway, Speaking of full House, Lori Loughlin and her husband
were robbed recently. Burt armed and masked burglars broke into
their home in Los Angeles and they even had I think,
what do you call that a safe?
Speaker 3 (44:31):
Somehow they were able to either they left the safe open,
or they took the entire safe, or I don't know,
but they robbed a million dollars worth of jewelry.
Speaker 5 (44:40):
And then I saw the comments and a lot of
people were like karma, karma and all these things, and
it's like, yeah, she did some fucked up thing, but
I don't wish bad upon her.
Speaker 3 (44:51):
Yeah, O care people, they are dumb comments. Here's my comment.
It's now an empty house.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Well, finally, let's end things on a positive note. Congratulations
to Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. They said, I do,
I will. They're gonna marry each other.
Speaker 3 (45:11):
But the memes are the best things I've ever seen
in my life.
Speaker 5 (45:14):
But when talking about this, Megan Fox said, let me
read you the last sentence, and just as in every
lifetime before this one and in every lifetime that will
follow it, I said, yes, dot dot dot. And then
we drank each other's blood. First of all, I don't know.
(45:35):
The thing is, I sincerely.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
Genuinely cannot tell if she was joking or not. Of
course she wasn't. Absolutely they drank each other's blood, for sure.
One hundred You think that's a joke, is a joke.
Speaker 5 (45:51):
These two did they like really like did they take it?
Speaker 3 (45:54):
You know, they pricked the finger, right, It's not like
they fucking put a bag in there and squeezed it
out like it's a fucking knock. I can't put like
it's a juice box.
Speaker 5 (46:04):
Well, congratulations to them. Before we get to calls. On
Wondery's podcast, Even the Rich co host Brooke and Erisha
share the stories behind some of the most famous and
infamous celebrities in history, from Madonna to Britney Spears, and
from the Kardashians to House of Gucci, and in an
(46:26):
all new season, they investigate the shocking kidnapping of Airis
Patty Hurst. I remember this story. It was before my time,
but I'm fascinated by.
Speaker 3 (46:37):
It because this is the woman that ended up having
Stockholm syndrome and doing bad things herself.
Speaker 5 (46:45):
I can't wait to hear them break it all down.
Listen to Even the Rich Patty Hurst and Rich and
Daily on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Spotify, or you can
listen ad free by joining Wondery Plus in the Wondery app.
If you like true crime, this is a wild one.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
Check it out. All right, let's take some calls.
Speaker 6 (47:11):
Friend, Hey, Buoker is Madison from Florida. I just I'm
only like five minutes into the podcast episode from this week,
and I just had to call and tell you how
much I love these football recaps. I know actually nothing
about football, but my husband is a huge Steelers fan,
so he was very excited yesterday about everything that happened
for his team to get in the playoffs. But I
had no idea why or what happened. And now I
(47:34):
can walk back to him and actually have an idea of.
Speaker 7 (47:36):
What's going on. So just wanted to say that I
appreciate you.
Speaker 8 (47:38):
Breaking it down how.
Speaker 6 (47:39):
A thirty year old female can actually understand it.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
So keep us more football updates. Well, your husband's not
happy this morning. I can tell you that for sure.
Steeler's lost, by the way, so then they're out. They're out. Yeah,
they shouldn't have been in the first place. There a
dogshit team this year. How they got in they snuck it?
I mean it was ridiculous.
Speaker 7 (47:58):
Here we go, Hi, Christie from Michigan. I watched that
Red Table talk to presson and I have to tell you, Pros,
that was a great show. You really this isn't the
right word to say, but you humanized yourself in a
way that I'm hoping people understand that. You know, we
all go through stages and that you know, you learned
(48:18):
and grew from everything that you've.
Speaker 8 (48:21):
Done and said.
Speaker 7 (48:22):
It was a great show. I think you really showed
the change and you're awesome. And Booker's awesome too. You
guys have a great day.
Speaker 8 (48:31):
Thanks a lot.
Speaker 3 (48:32):
He took a dump on that at the beginning of
today's episode, so there you go. He's not that awesome.
Thank you, appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (48:39):
Hi present Booker.
Speaker 7 (48:40):
My name is Mia and calling from Toronto.
Speaker 9 (48:43):
I'm just calling a response to the ben Affleck thing.
I agree with Booker, He's right, that was not Then's
intention to shoot all over Jennifer. However, he said he
was trapped in the marriage.
Speaker 7 (48:52):
You couldn't leave because of the kids.
Speaker 9 (48:54):
So he's essentially saying, you know what, I was drinking
again because I was trapped in this marriage and maybe unhappy,
and that was what initiated his drinking.
Speaker 7 (49:02):
So I catch her both right in both ways.
Speaker 9 (49:04):
But still it's still kind of ucheback thing to say,
all right, great, thanks guys.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
He doesn't do himself any favors. I'll give you that,
but I just don't think that there was any intent there.
Speaker 5 (49:15):
There might not have been the intent, but he said
what he said and then he tried to like maneuver
his way out of it by saying he.
Speaker 3 (49:20):
Was taking out of context. No, he wasn't. He was
not taken out of context. I heard it. He was
here we go. Hi.
Speaker 8 (49:26):
My name's Taylor. I'm calling from Ontario, Canada, and I
was just listening to your podcast and you were talking
about the Bravo Real Housewives and I just wanted and
I think Booker is write about the like his mom
watching Days of Our Lives. My mom watched Daysmore Lives,
so I watched it with her. I really think it's
a generational thing, and I think that it's slowly the
(49:50):
soap ropers are slowly moving over to this reality TV show.
You know, when my parents, my mom was young, we
watched Big Brother and Survivor, and that those shows are
still going and I watch those now, and I'm sure
when I have kids, if it's still on, they don't
want to watch.
Speaker 9 (50:04):
It with me.
Speaker 8 (50:05):
So it's really a generational thing and I think that
I think that's what's going on. So I just want
to put my two cents in there. But I love
the show, and I hope you guys have a good day.
Speaker 5 (50:13):
I guess the key is they just need to keep
adding new cast members, because don't you get bored of
the same people and their drama. That's what I was
really getting at.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
You think.
Speaker 10 (50:23):
Hi, this is Marianne from Dexter, Michigan.
Speaker 6 (50:27):
I just have a comment on a.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Pause. Marianne.
Speaker 5 (50:32):
Whether you rent or own, GICO makes it easy to
bundle home and car insurance. Having a home is hard work,
so get a quote at dico dot com easy.
Speaker 3 (50:43):
That's Marianne.
Speaker 10 (50:44):
I don't like it when people say that relapse is
a part of recovery. That's very misleading. I'm in recovery
and that is not true. People do not relapse over
and over and they should not be told that because
then they think they have permission and aad to go
and drink. It's very dangerous thing to say. I just
wanted to say that it is not a part of recovery.
(51:07):
I know plenty of addicts who have not relapsed and
are still sober.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Thank you.
Speaker 10 (51:11):
I love your show, though, bye bye.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
Sorry. I did catch that when you said it, and
I knew better, but we were an hour nineteen of
our fucking show and I just wanted to wrap it up.
You don't say that it's not a thing they say
and recovery. It's not okay, I thought it. I just
know I know better just because I know too many addicts.
