This is the third of three specially curated episodes, produced in association with the Urban Imaginaries project, a collaboration between Carleton University’s Industrial Design Program and Communication and Media Studies Program. The project will run through the spring and will consist of a series of in-person events held in association with Ottawa coffee house Arlington 5.

Dr. Droumeva begins the episode with an introduction to the field of acoustic ecology before describing her new research and education project titled “Cityscapes”, which consists of a board game based around livability and the urban environment (pictured below).
