On today's episode of The Podcast for Curious Souls we interviewed the beautiful Jocelyn Vincelli! She's a passionate and well-rounded Psychologist who holds a Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology and trained as a Scientist-Practitioner. We dove deep into the facets of healthy human development and the role curiosity plays in shaping a child's growing mind. We discussed the topic of emotional regulation and how connecting to "something more" strongly supports our mental health.
Jocelyn has 15+ years of work experience helping young people with complex trauma who live in out-of-home care. She authored a published article on her research that explored the well-being of at-risk emerging adults. Jocelyn serves children, youth, young adults, and families in Alberta, Canada. She offers unique activity-based group therapy about the brain-body, thinking skills, and emotions. Her dynamic groups are facilitated regularly with varied areas of focus, participants, and locations.
