Alright, well hey folks,
this is Joe Rusciello and it is great
to be with you once again live at the Asylum Studios
and doing the very best we can to bring you the best quality
political talk radio we could muster
without all the bluster.
And we are broadcasting tonight live from the from

(01:29):
the pimple on the backside of Texas,
The beautiful city of Eagle Pass. And folks, this
is the podcast.
Happy Monday.
We're ready to kick this thing off.
Another week.
Got a bunch of stuff going on this week.

(01:51):
A lot of things going on, in the world around us. Got a lot of things went on over the weekend. A lot of interesting stuff. A lot of,
just a lot of just a lot of stuff. I don't know how else to say it.
That's how you know this is unscripted.
I lose my thoughts, and I get stuck on things and places and and whatnot.
And, let me just, take the care of this here momentarily.

(02:17):
And there we go. Make it a little bit quieter in here.
Alright, folks. So I hope you guys had a good weekend.
And I hope you guys had a good Easter. If you celebrate Easter, I'm hoping that, you had it's a real blessing for you.
Never really cared for calling it Easter,
especially after I became a Christian, after I got saved.

(02:39):
I started calling it, resurrection day because that's exactly what it is. It's resurrection day. It's
It's the day that we
celebrate
the resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Easter has a has a pagan root to it. It's actually the the feast of Ishtar. Easter, Ishtar? Get it?
And, so we kinda stay away from that as much as you can.

(03:02):
But, it is you know, we but, you know, if you wanna call it Easter, you can call it Easter. That's fine. It's in the bible. It's it's okay.
But, but it's resurrection day. And we should treat every day like resurrection day, to be quite honest with you. We should be rejoicing in our salvation. We should be rejoicing
that the lord Jesus Christ,
beat and defeated death, that last great enemy of mankind.

(03:24):
And, and because of that,
he paid the penalty for your sin, for your for my sin,
and,
he is now seated at the right hand of the father.
And,
we're anticipating
his return
very, very, very soon. And I think it's gonna come a lot sooner than, what most people think. I think it's gonna be probably within the next couple of years. We're gonna see the Lord return,

(03:48):
and,
it's gonna be an exciting time. So I hope you guys are ready for that,
and, you know, we're not gonna
I know this is a political talk show, we're gonna spend
not that much time on that subject right now, but we'll do that at later shows. We can definitely dip into that a little bit.
But, some some,
so so the weekend was great. We had a you know, had

(04:11):
the typical Italian
dinner for myself and my kids last night. We,
made some, made some sugo with,
some braciole and,
some pasta,
and, me and my two French Bulldog kids
feasted
yesterday. It was it was a lot of fun. We enjoyed it. I enjoyed it. I like cooking, so it's it's not a problem for me. I don't mind doing it. But,

(04:34):
but it was it was it was good. Really, really did enjoy that. And, but I hope you guys had a great time with your family and your friends, and I hope you, were able to celebrate the resurrection of our savior, the lord Jesus Christ.
So, also this weekend,
just got a lot of stuff done around here. Really watching the news and seeing what's going on. We had a bunch of things pop off
over the weekend

(04:55):
and,
you know, some,
some interesting news developing around the world. So we're gonna keep an eye on those things as the days go. Now, we were talking,
one of my producers and I, anonymous Angela, we we spoke over the weekend.
And, we're gonna be doing some changes
with our not the format so much, but just the the way we're gonna be handling certain things.

(05:18):
And, as we develop that more, we'll let you know more about it,
and in the days to come.
But, we're thinking about the possibility of changing this time of the show starting at an hour earlier.
It seems to be that, for a lot of the guests that we look to book,
the time is a is is a bit of a challenge,

(05:38):
for them. So we're thinking about making some changes, maybe starting at seven central time instead of eight central time. And and, you know, and the reason why we start so late in the first place is you guys know I have another job, and my my regular job is,
is a regular nine to five well, eight to four, eight to five job.
And,
you know, so by the time I I I get back

(05:59):
out of work and have to build up the show and get all the clips and audio and all that stuff, that's why sometimes it's frazzled because, you know, I'm running behind and it's,
you know, it's it it it gets a little stressful. But
the show is important to me, and, I want it to grow, and I want it to be successful, and I want to,
you know, do a lot of things with it and bring a lot of things to you guys. And, you know, I value every single one of you that's watching,

(06:26):
on Rumble right now. I value every single one of you that, that downloads the show on the audio files,
and and listens live on the audio.
I know we're not huge, but, you know, we have,
we have a a decent following on, on the audio stream. We're still trying to build that video stream. We wanna get up there.
So don't forget to share the show with your friends, your family, and your followers, and make sure you like and subscribe to the show yourself.

(06:51):
Alright?
So,
I think with all that said, let's, let's get into the housekeeping before we get into the show. We've got some things we're gonna talk about here momentarily. So,
just don't forget to head over to the website. If you have any questions, comments, cares, concerns, open up that web form, send them over to us, let us know whatever's on your heart and mind,

It gives you this steady energy throughout the whole course of the day. And, another side benefit to it was I lost some weight on it. So, that's,

(10:29):
you know, not listed as a as a, as a benefit of the product, but for me it is. So it works. So you should try that out as well. And, I just, got my notification that my,
my,

Alright. Well, that's about it. They are gone.
Oh, dropped my coaster. Alright. I'm gonna take a sip of our $17.75

(12:48):
coffee.
That was good.
I made a pot earlier, but I I miscounted how many scoops I put in, and it was
unbelievably strong. Like, unbelievably strong. Like, I I took a sip from it, and I think my eyeballs almost popped out of my head from it. But, this this batch is good. This is this is a good batch. So,

(13:15):
alright. Well, with, with all of that said, how about we
get
to
the
nose?
Alright.
Well,
I'm sure you guys heard about it all day today, but, Pope Francis is dead.

(13:39):
Pope Francis died 88 years old. And, you know, I'm not sure how I how I wanted to present this. I I was thinking many different ways of
of,
of of presenting it.
You know, I was just gonna say at first, you know, well, Pope Francis is dead and move on to the next story.
But
out of respect,

(14:00):
for
those of you who are in the Catholic faith and,
perhaps
are feeling the the loss of of the of your pope,
I will say this,
and and the the my my main beef
with the pope and, again, I'm not speaking bad of the dead. I I say the same thing when he was alive, but you see, I'm not the type of person

(14:23):
that,
if I
I'm not the type of person that's gonna
change the way I I feel and think about
someone's policies
as they, you know, live their life and now they're gone. I'm not gonna candy coat it and say what a wonderful person this guy was. Never did anything wrong. Never did, you know, all that stuff. I'm I'm not gonna do that.

(14:44):
Alright? The pope
passed away,
at 07:35
local time in Italy,
01:35
eastern time.
And,
an announcement went out from the,
from the Vatican Carmel lingo, who is like a chamberlain,
helps the pope

(15:05):
like his right hand man.
Cardinal Kevin Farrell saying,
dearest brothers and sisters, with deep sorrow, I must announce the death of our holy father Francis.
Alright. So,
now until the new pope is chosen, which, you know, it's with the the black smoke, the white smoke, all that stuff,

(15:28):
Cardinal Farrell is actually is is effectively the head of the Catholic church right now.
Alright? And,
the,
and and this is, you know, what I'm saying about,
you know, you know,
placating
the memories of

(15:49):
of of the pope.
You know, vice president Vance met with the pope,
just the day before he passed,
and,
he tweeted out or or posted on x, I just learned of the pope of of the passing of pope Francis.
My heart goes out to the millions of Christians.
Questionable.

(16:10):
All over the world who loved him.
I was happy to see him yesterday, though he was obviously very ill. But I will always remember him for the for the homily he gave in the very early days of COVID. It was really quite beautiful. May God rest his soul. Alright. Well,
nice sentiment. I understand that.
Have issues with it, but, you know, that's another show, another time.

(16:33):
I just can't celebrate
and praise someone
that is such a a left leaning globalist
shill,
or was,
who celebrated

(16:54):
open borders
while living
in a place that
had the tightest security,
the tightest border control,
the tightest immigration laws
you could think of.
And he would lecture
The United States

(17:15):
and other countries about
not being the Christian
way to,
refuse to take in,
illegal immigrants and,
and refugees and so on and so forth. In other words, throwing your doors wide open and letting everybody in.
So to me, that was kinda hypocritical,
and, so I I I can't

(17:36):
necessarily
jump on board with
heaping the praise of what a wonderful person he was. He may have been. I don't know him. I never met him, but I I understood his political stance. And and listen, don't think for a second that the the,
that the upper echelons of the Catholic church is not a political organization. It's a political thing. It is absolutely a political thing.

(18:00):
Alright?
The Vatican has ambassadors.
Only political organizations have ambassadors. Countries have ambassadors to
the Vatican.
The United States has an ambassador to the Vatican. Thank you, Ronald Reagan, for that.
So I'm gonna I'll point out where I disagree, and I I may be I may be a conservatarian. I may be a conservative.

(18:24):
I, you know, I I may, you know, you know, be registered Republican or whatever, you know, at at any point in my life.
But, you know, if something's wrong, I'm gonna point it out.
And that was wrong,
but again, another another story, another time.
So but that that's been all over the news today,

(18:46):
that, you know, the pope is the pope has passed on. And,
so now they're gonna go through the process, the conclave and all that stuff in, in selecting a new pope. And, you know, there's already a lot of speculation as as as to who
they would possibly,
be considering
for,
the next pope.
And,
I don't know enough about the individuals that they're talking about, so I'm not gonna comment

(19:10):
on it.
But,
once I do, I I will I'll bring that to you.
But I did see a list of, left very left leaning,
from the same camp as Francis,
and I've seen a a list of, very, conservative
leaning,
candidates.

(19:30):
And,
you know, it's very interesting
to see how it all plays out,
because, you know, I'm not a Catholic.
Alright?
But you cannot deny that the Catholic church
and the leadership of the Catholic church has an effect on geopolitics.
You cannot deny that.

(19:53):
And again,
it's a political organization
hidden behind a religious facade.
My opinion?
Take it or leave it. Like it or lump it. Do what you want with it, and that's fine.
Alright. I'm not looking to argue with anybody about it.
You can tell me what you think, drop a comment down below, send me an email info@joeroos.com.

(20:18):
That's info@joeroos.com,
and I'd be happy to,
to talk to you about it. But
so I guess it's a sad day for Catholics,
around the world, and, you know, our condolences, our best wishes,
as they select
their new leader.

(20:40):
But Pope Francis
died to out of Monday,
today.
That would be today
at the age of
88.
Alright.
Well, something else that has popped up in the news,
has reared its ugly head again, and and it's something that I said that I wasn't really ever gonna discuss again,

(21:02):
because it was just ridiculous, and that was,
Signal Gate. Do you remember that?
Signal Gate?
If you don't remember what Signal Gate was, well, apparently,
there was, an incident,
a few months ago, about a month ago,
where,
secretary Hegseth

(21:24):
and a few other folks,
Mike Walls,
I think, if I remember right, it was,
Tulsi Gabbard and a few other folks, I think, Kash Patel as well,
were involved in a signal chat group
that was set up by,
Mike Walls or some staff members of Mike Walls.

(21:45):
And they included a very liberal,
Trump hating
journalist.
And, that journalist
basically,
took the information that was being, discussed in that chat group even though it was not classified in any way. There was no,

(22:05):
no no no classified material being shared. There were no specifics, no time stamps, anything like that.
Took that and and tried to make a big thing out of it and to try to bring down,
Pete Hegseth.
Now, first of all, they've been trying to bring down Pete Hegseth since the day he was announced
as a candidate for
secretary of defense.

(22:27):
So it shouldn't surprise you that they are gonna continue to try to bring him down.
Why is that?
Why do they wanna bring him down so badly? Because of what he is doing with the military. He is turning the military from a a woke,

(22:48):
shell of what the American military used to be and turning them back into an elite fighting force,
warriors, as he calls them once again.
And, you know, of course, they don't want that. They don't want a strong American military because
they're globalists. They don't believe that, they don't believe in national sovereignty. They don't believe in borders. They don't believe that,

(23:09):
there should be military,
as as as we see them, as we see it
now. So,
so so, of course, they're gonna do the best they can to tear down Pete Hegsa.
Well,
that story came and went.
It was disproven over and over and over again that there was no classified information being transmitted in that signal chat group.

(23:33):
And you can and you know that through the simple fact that
the,
the rep the, the journalist that was included in the group, just I don't know why his name just popped out of my head. Let me see if I have it,
over here. But,
Let me see. Do I have it here?

(23:55):
Jeffrey Goldberg.
Yeah. Okay. So,
Jeffrey Goldberg, who was the editor in chief of The Atlantic,
he took those messages that were being,
sent back and forth through the signal app,
which is an authorized app to use for the, for the federal government.
So,
and, very secure and well, you know, look, it's as about as secure as it possibly can be, but it's one of the best ones on the market.

(24:23):
So,
so you know that it wasn't really classified information when Jeffrey Goldberg takes that information and publishes it in the Atlantic,
and there are no repercussions for it.
So if he was able to publish that for public knowledge

(24:44):
and there's no repercussions to it, why would
Pete Hegseth be asked to step down and
resign and
all this fake,
drama
going on
around this signal chat.
Well, so that story comes and goes. And then,

(25:05):
again,
signal chat signal has popped up in the news.
So White House confirms that president Trump stands behind Hegseth. President Trump
supports US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth according to White House court spokesperson
Caroline Levitt following accusation that he communicated specifics
of a March raid on Yemen's,

(25:27):
Iran aligned Houthis in a chat group with his wife, brother, and personal lawyer.
The revelations of a second signal chat raise more questions about Hexeth's use of unclassified
messaging system to share highly sensitive security details, and they come at a particularly sensitive time for him with senior officials removed from the Pentagon last week as part of an internal leak probe.

(25:49):
So this is the second time that second time recently that Trump had clarified that he's standing behind Hegseth as some Democrats have called for him to resign because of leaked signal chat that contained information about the military strike in Yemen, so on and so forth.
So, the president went on to say that,
he's doing a great job. He has nothing to do with this,
and was asking how do you bring how do you even bring HECSeth into this? Alright. The exact quote here is,

(26:15):
Hegseth is doing a great job. He had nothing to do with this.
Hegseth, how do you even bring Hegseth into this? Trump also acknowledged that his White House national security adviser, Mike Waltz, took personal responsibility for mistakenly
adding Goldberg to the signal signal check
chat. Mike Waltz, he claimed, responsibility. I would imagine it has nothing to do with anything else. I it it was Mike. I guess, I don't know. I was told it was Mike. Trump said when he asked about the investigation.

(26:40):
There was no harm done.
Right?
No harm done. The attack went off.
No American lives were lost. It was an effective strike.
Mission accomplished.
But now they're firing all this back up again.
They're bringing all this back up again.

(27:05):
Newsmax, let me see. Let me see if I got that.
Alright. I'm gonna share this screen
here. Ari Hoffman, the original
power panel is back together once again, gentlemen.

(27:28):
Great to see you both.
Good to be here, John. Love it. Great to be here, John. Alright. Ari, first to you on this one. You know what this New York Times story doesn't really get into is the fact that, recruiting is way up, morale is way back up in the military, the Pentagon I mean, the the the military is actually having more success,
particularly against groups like the Houthis.
And it's not like things were going well at the Pentagon before Pete Hegseth took over.

(27:53):
No. They weren't at all. In fact, I'm still waiting for them to find the person from the Biden administration
who leaked Israel's plans to bomb Iran to Iran. I didn't hear the media jumping all over that so much or the many other national security leaks that came out of the Biden administration. I didn't hear them talking about how Joe Biden was actually funding Iran, which funded Hamas, funded Hezbollah, funded the Houthi rebels. There was almost no coverage

(28:18):
of any of that, and we know all of that led to what has happened since October 7 and October 7 itself. The jumping on Pete Hegseth is specifically because he is so successful and because the military is coming back and coming back stronger than ever. And the military the, excuse me, the media doesn't know what to do with themselves. Yeah. They don't like the fact that the, commander in chief

(28:39):
is the one that the Pentagon is taking orders from and not a bunch of unelected bureaucrats. Now we did have this issue, Dan, where we had this guy, Dan Caldwell and,
Darren Selnick who both have left the Pentagon. Apparently, the chief of staff,
for Pete Hegseth is leaving as well. There was an opinion piece by a former Pentagon spokesman named John Ulliot that writes that, quote, it's been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon from leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass firings. The dysfunction is now a major distraction for

(29:08):
the president. He goes on to say that Trump has a strong record of holding his top officials to account given that it's hard to see defense secretary Pete Hegseth
remaining in his role for much longer.
Well, the White House is defending Pete Hegseth today. Dan?
Yeah. This is nothing new. I mean, it seems like only yesterday because it was practically yesterday that we had another scandal

(29:33):
involving a signal chat, a group that included, of course, the Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg in which the media was demanding Pete Hegseth's
head on a platter then. Well, then all of a sudden, a trade war kicked off, and that got kicked to the back burner. This time, it took a grand total of a day before
we switched our focus to something else. This time, the unfortunate passing of pope Francis. The reality is is that this is an entirely

(29:58):
media driven narrative that somehow Hegseth
is on the outs with president Trump and that it's total chaos.
The reality is there was no classified information shared on this secret second group chat. There's no scandal. In fact, signal is the preferred method of confidential
communications
for cabinet level people like Pete Hegseth. It was used during the Biden administration

(30:20):
as well.
The only chaos here is that you have a bunch of people who are in top level positions who were not loyal to Hegseth or the Trump administration,
who thought they could make their names for themselves like people did in the first Trump administration and start leaking. Well, this time, there is a concerted crackdown on said leaks. And frankly, I don't think the media likes it because they're used to getting juicy gossip like this on a weekly basis, and frankly, they are not in the second Trump term. Well, you know what they really don't like, Ari, is that a guy like Pete Hegseth didn't follow the normal path to become defense secretary. Of course, he worked in the media. You can see the disdain. I think the jealousy too from a lot of the establishment press, the way they cover Pete Hegseth and refer to, you know,

(31:01):
cover Pete Hegset and refer to him, you know, negatively
as a weekend cable news host. I mean, the guy was a major in the National Guard, maybe even higher ranked than that.
But he doesn't come from the foreign policy
military establishment
that has dominated
these decisions for so long, and that that has got to be scary to a lot of these

(31:22):
entrenched bureaucrats.
Absolutely. It is. Also, he's a guy who comes from the lower level of the military, and those are guys who disagree
commonly with the command staff, with the brass. And we've seen how well the brass did under the Biden administration. Look at the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
So this is a guy who's coming from that lower level who says, I think we could do things better, and look at some of the policy wonks who were put in charge of the defense department beforehand. Look at the disasters they created. Meanwhile,

(31:51):
the Houthis are on their heel. Hezbollah
is almost destroyed. Hamas is almost destroyed. And the usual people who said, oh, we can't do anything about these. We just have to maintain the status quo. They're the ones who are proven wrong. And now The US has destroyed the Houthis so effectively and that The US is powerful on the world stage again.
A lot of them don't like that. They like the status quo of being able to say, oh, well, we got the best of The US, or you know what? The US is just here to maintain the status quo. That's not happening anymore, and a lot of it is due to Donald Trump and Pete Heggs' efforts,

(32:24):
especially in The Middle East right now. And then these lower level officials or these cap these people who are inside the Trump administration who are left over from god knows when. Is it the Biden administration? It's a long time before them. They are getting more and more obsolete. They are fighting for their very survival because their entire way of thinking, the swamp is being drained.
Well, according to, NPR right now, Trump has had begun a search, for a new defense secretary.

(32:51):
This coming from NPR, obviously, we will follow-up and find out if that is in fact accurate.
We'll see where it goes from here. Dan O'Donnell, Ari Hoffman, thank you both for being here today. Gentlemen, take care.
So
I thought that was very interesting.
You've don't forget, there were a number of people that were let go

(33:16):
by the defense department. This guy Dan Caldwell, we talked about him last week, real weasey looking guy, and I think three or four other three other peep two other people. So three people were let go, and then all of a sudden these four anonymous whistleblower, you know, messages go out to the New York Times,
the rag that it is.
And,

(33:37):
and now all of a sudden, this is an an issue again. And like like they said, this is just some low level people trying to make a name for themselves. Well,
obviously, and as you see, this administration is not playing that game, not playing along with that anymore.
They did that and they left things like that slide in the first term,
with with the Trump term, but not now.
And, as a matter of fact, today at the,

(34:00):
at at the White House at the, the Easter egg roll,
Pete Hegseth
basically just
laid into,
one of the reporters when they tried to push this push this hoax,
further, you know, and basically accusing him of leaking this information. This is,
this is Pete Hecseff at the White House today at the Easter egg roll.

(34:31):
Alright. Try it again.
You know, what a big surprise that
a bunch of,
a few leakers get fired and suddenly a bunch of hit pieces come out from, the same media that peddled the Russia hoax,
won't get back their Pulitzers. They got Pulitzers for a bunch of lies.
Pollsters for a bunch of lies and on hoaxes

(34:54):
time and time and time again.
And as they peddle those lies, no one ever calls them on.
See, this is what the media does. They take anonymous sources from
disgruntled former employees,
and then they try to slash and burn people
and ruin their reputations. Not gonna work with me because we're
changing the defense department,

(35:15):
putting the Pentagon back in the hands of war fighters, and anonymous smears from disgruntled former employees on old news,
doesn't matter. So I'm happy to be here at the Easter egg roll with my dad
and my kids because, you know, this is what we're doing it for. These kids right here. This is why we're fighting the fake news media. This is why we're fighting slash and burn Democrats. This is why we're fighting hoaxsters.

(35:38):
Hoaxters.
This group no. No. This group right here, full of hoaxsters
that peddle anonymous sources from leakers with
access to grind, and then
you put it all together as if it's some
news story.
And when we know it, we know exactly what it is. Secretary. So I'm really proud of what we're doing for the president,
fighting hard across the board, and I'm gonna go roll some Easter eggs with my kids. Thank you very much. President, sir.

(36:05):
I have spoken to the president, and we are gonna continue fighting on the same page all the way. Sir, who is your
So it was, it was,
Dan Caldwell,
Darren Selnick, and Colin Carroll.
They were let go by the Pentagon,
for,
unauthorized leaks.

(36:26):
And then, of course, the New York Times comes up with this anonymous
story that they publish
with four anonymous sources claiming that Hegseth shared sensitive information.
So,
Carolyn Levitt
also,
came
to, to the to his,
well, his defense, I guess. You could say that. Let's take a look.

(36:49):
The president stands strongly behind secretary Hegseth who is doing a phenomenal job leading the Pentagon. And this is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you and working against the monumental change that you are trying to implement.
Secretary Hegseth Hegseth was nominated for this position because he is standing up for the warfighter. The men and women in uniform who are putting their lives on the line to protect our country and our homeland. And unfortunately,

(37:16):
there have been people at the at that building who don't like the change the secretary is trying to bring, so they are leaking and they are lying to the mainstream media. We've seen this game played before. The secretary is doing a tremendous job and the president stands strongly behind him.
And it's great that the president is standing behind him because for years,
for years, and and if you've been following any any politics at all, for years,

(37:41):
conservatives
have had to deal with the Republican Party that that was so weak and so feckless
and didn't have the courage or the guts to actually stand up to the radical left.
They've gotten used to the fact that the Republican Party and the conservatives rolling over

(38:05):
and basically,
doing the bidding
of the left. But that changed. That's not the way it is now. Donald Trump
became president,
and
Donald Trump is showing what an effective leader is.
What real leadership is is standing by your people
standing by your people even, you know, even in in these circumstances, you stand by them until all the facts are known, of course, obviously.

(38:34):
You don't throw them under the bus.
You let the facts come out. You let the story play out because
as another as another guy said and I and I'm gonna steal I'm gonna steal his phrase, you know, that the media tells you a story, not the story.
He's gonna stand by his man

(38:54):
until
the facts come out.
And he may even stick with him after that. I don't know. Donald Trump is unpredictable.
He he truly is.
But the fact that he's standing behind him and he's he's encouraging him to continue on,
and,
it's there's no knee jerk reaction to all of to to all of this bullcrap that's going around

(39:20):
is a testament to the to the leadership of Donald Trump.
Another article here from PJ Media.
Let me share this with you.
Is a coup against Pete Hegseth, brewing of the Pentagon.

(39:43):
This is by, Matt Margolis at, at PJ Media.
Something tells me that the liberal media is trying to force secretary of defense Pete Hegseth from the Pentagon. According to a report from from Politico, the Pentagon has become a chaotic mess because of Hegseth's alleged influence,
and it's becoming a problem for the administration. It's been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon from leaks to of sensitive operational plans to mass firings. Dysfunction is now a major distraction

(40:11):
for the president.
Doesn't seem like it to me, does he, to you?
No. Doesn't seem like it to me.
And this isn't a Matt Margolis
say he's quoting here.
He's quoting an article from Politico.
Donald Trump has a strong record of holding his top officials to account given that it's hard to see defense secretary Pete Heggs at the remaining in his role much longer.

(40:34):
It's it's so so ludicrous that you almost have to appreciate the creative writing involved.
What's the evidence? A few anonymous complaints and a spin cycle that would make a laundromat envious?
Curiously to prove his point, he cites the signal gate kerfuffle
as evidence of the chaos and not
the successful mission against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

(40:57):
Despite his repeated claims of Porti Hegseth, his narrative sounds like it was lifted straight from the Democrat playbook. I I suspect he leans on a supposed backing of Hegseth,
not out of conviction, but as a shield to lend credibility to what a mass will repackage left wing hit job on the Pentagon.
So the sources,
like we said.

(41:17):
You had three disgruntled employees
let go trying to make a name for themselves
by spreading by spreading
this quote, unquote anonymous
crap.
That's what it is. This is crap.

(41:39):
Alright. Let's let me take a break from signal gate part two
because there's really nothing.
Big nothing burger.
And, let's take a look at the this this actually caught my attention,
today.
Seems to be very, very interesting.
A Democrat judge

(42:02):
resigned
after being caught housing
alleged Trent d'Aragua member
illegal alien.
In an article by Matt Palumbo, New Jersey governor Phil Murphy raised some eyebrows in February, I don't know if you remember that,

(42:23):
when he suggested that he was housing an illegal alien at his home After Bordazar
Tom
Holman threatened to prosecute him, Murphy changed his tune and clarified that the individual was a legal resident. In other words, he was looking for street credit from members of his own party for defiance of Donald Trump only to admit the truth when threatened with prosecution.

(42:45):
Well, a Democrat
judge in New Mexico
just resigned after ICE arrested an alleged trendy Aragua member at his home in late February.
The illegal alien Christian Ortega Lopez, twenty three, entered The US by way of Eagle Pass, Texas, right here, that's where I am,
before being released under Joe Biden's catch and release policy under which migrants and asylum seekers were given court dates before being transported to The US interior.

(43:10):
Ortega Lopez
was arrested in February 28.
Ortega Lopez was arrested on February 28 while police conducted search warrant at the home of Dona Ana County.
I'm sorry. At the home of Dona Anna County, New Mexico Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife Nancy Cano. Cano, who served as a police officer before becoming a judge, allowed Ortega Lopez to file a request for immigration relief using the judge's address. The suspected gang member was even caught posing for photos

(43:45):
with the judge.
And there you have it.
Sorry. My, my my tablet here just freaked out.
So, yeah, lawfare. Federal agents are raiding homes of Democrat judges harboring illegal TDA terrorists. For example, federal agents arrested a Venezuelan Trendy Agua member

(44:08):
at judge Joel Cano's home in New Mexico. The Democrat judge resigned soon after.
Another shot there.
Might be the same or close to it.

(44:31):
Now interestingly
interestingly,
the
the judge
had been caught
training
these gang members
in,
in tactics.

(44:54):
There was video, but I wasn't able to get it
because I I bookmarked it, then I couldn't find where I put it. But
there are pictures of the judge at at a range.
I don't know if it was on his property or somewhere else,
teaching tactical
maneuvers

(45:14):
to these
gang members, alleged
gang members.
From the conservative brief,
them judge steps down after ICE arrests alleged foreign gang member in his home.
Democratic judge in New Mexico resigned last month. Now it's it's funny. It took a month for this to come out.

(45:41):
After immigration authorities arrested an an alleged member of the trendy Argua gang who had been living in his home according to reports, a suspect, an illegal immigrant, initially entered The US through Eagle Pass and was released on immigration parole due to overcrowding before relocated to New Mexico.
Police arrested Christian Ortega Lopez on February 28 while executing a search warrant at the home of, Dona Ana County. Dona Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy, according to a report this week from the Albuquerque Journal. Cano, a former police officer, reportedly allowed Ortega Lopez to use his residential address while filing a request for immigration relief.

(46:16):
Court exhibits also included social media photos, including foreign national posing,
alongside the judge.
In one photo, Ortega Lopez is seen holding an AR 15 style rifle in one hand and a semiautomatic pistol in the other. A video captured him firing another AR 15 equipped with a suppressor, emptying the magazine before reloading and continuing to shoot according to the on the prosecutors.

(46:46):
Photos and videos showed Ortega Lopez displaying tattoos associated with Tran de Agua, which which state has declared
a transnational criminal organization.
Investigators also discovered additional firearms at neighboring residence owned by Nancy Cano's daughter with Ortega Lopez seen handling several of those weapons as
well. Now, Jay, I wonder why
he'd be doing that.

(47:08):
No. I'm serious. I I wonder why. Like, I don't I don't have a reason. I I I don't have an explanation for it, but I wonder why.
That's your Democrats for you, folks. They they would rather
embrace
an illegal

(47:29):
than protect American citizens.
Well, speaking along the lines of our, immigration
issues,
we all remember,
when,
senator
Van Hollen,
took a taxpayer funded

(47:51):
vacation,
to El Salvador to have
margaritas with,
Kilmar
Abrego Garcia,
a Salvadoran
migrant who had been living
in The United States in Maryland illegally,
for
nearly twenty years.

(48:17):
Abrego Garcia was picked up in a in an ice raid
and,
deported to
El Salvador, his home country,
where he is a citizen.
Not a citizen here.
He had been to court here. He was determined,

(48:37):
deportable.
His gang affiliation was confirmed by the courts,
and he was summarily
deported.
Not immediately,
not in 2019
when that happened, but in 2025.

(49:00):
So after
the embarrassment of Van Holland
going to El Salvador and at first being refused,
permission to see,
Abrego Garcia,
who was then allowed to. And, of course, you've seen all the photos and all of the,
the the social media posts,

(49:22):
showing them hang hanging out, you know, sitting at the table, having having drinks, margaritas, and all that stuff. The official photos, of course, don't have those.
You had to wait for,
the president of, El Salvador, Bukele, to actually
post pictures,
the actual pictures,
unedited pictures.

(49:42):
And you say, well, you know, how do how do you trust that? You know, it wasn't
set a setup. I trust
and that's the sad thing too is I trust
a foreign president
more than I trust a sitting
US senator.
And I'd say the same thing if it was a Republican senator,
Democrat senator,

(50:04):
whatever, independent, whatever. I would say the exact same thing.
I would trust them more than I trust a sitting US senator right now.
Well, not all not not to be, left out of the vacation part the taxpayer funded vacation.
Four house Democrats traveled to El Salvador,

(50:25):
in the words of one member to remind Americans that Kilmar Armando Abrego
Garcia in El Salvador an El Salvadoran migrant who had been living in Maryland was wrongfully deported
to his home country.
Again, not true,
or misrepresentation
of the truth.
There was an order that that said that, he should not be deported back to El Salvador because he had concerns for his life because of his affiliation with the gang.

(50:54):
But since that gang is no longer in operation in El Salvador, thanks to Bukele's administration,
there is no threat for him there anymore, so he can go back to El Salvador, which is where he is, where he belongs
in his home country.

(51:15):
Let me see.
Now on Friday,
I don't I don't usually play
Democratic
talking points. Or not talking points, but,

(51:38):
Democrats
Democrat strategists. I don't I don't normally do that, but I'm going to here. I'm gonna I'm gonna share this here with you. So this is a, this is Moe,
I'm I'm not gonna say it right.
Moe Alethe,
I think is how it's pronounced,
who's a a long time democratic strategist.

(52:02):
And his advice was to the to the democratic party, you know, kinda stepping out of line here.
His advice to the Democratic Party was not to align themselves with Kilmar
Abrego Garcia,
not to make a martyr out of him.
That's what that's what his concern is. And, the so this is what he had to say. This is from,

(52:23):
his appearance on CNN. Let me share the screen here.
Criticism of Van Hollen for these optics. He clearly felt like he needed to clear it up.
Right? What's your view of how, what he did just now? He could've cleared it up much more concisely.
Didn't have to spend as much time talking about margaritas as he did. But I He didn't he was tired. I will say that. Fair. Right. Kind of rambly. Look. I think everyone in the White House are giving each other high fives and everyone who supports Yeah.

(52:58):
The guy in El Salvador are giving each other high fives. Right? Both sides have kinda gone to their
corners and are saying, this is the fight we wanna have. Whereas I don't necessarily
know it's the conversation
the rest of the that would actually resonate with the rest of the country.
Again, I go back to what we were talking about earlier.
It's less about him

(53:20):
as it is about all of us. And if he were to have focused on that, he did it a little bit. Yeah. He did a little bit there about a third of the way through. Right? Where he said,
taking away his constitutional rights takes away all of our constitutional
rights. That is the place to take this.
We don't know that all of the details about this guy. So let's not make him a martyr. Let's make this about

(53:45):
the fact that Donald Trump and his administration
are chipping away
at our rights on a daily basis. He's making our lives harder economically,
and now he's making our lives harder on issues like
this. Well, I don't know about you. I don't I don't think my life is

(54:08):
being made more difficult
by Donald Trump. I I I don't feel like my rights are being violated. I don't feel like
I don't see that anywhere.
You know? I I see an administration that is the most transparent administration that I've ever seen,
and I see an administration that's
supporting
existing laws that are on the books. They're not fabricating new laws

(54:32):
to enforce laws that are already on the books.
And economically,
you know, it took four years for the, Biden administration
to to wreck the economy. I I don't think you're gonna be able to
turn the economy around on a dime
and get it started back. So, yeah, there might still be a little bit of

(54:55):
discomfort.
You know? Prices may still be a little bit high on certain things, but I see a difference. I see the prices coming down. I see energy expenses
energy costs coming down. I see food prices starting to come down.
You know, the the the big egg issue. You know, I mean, I mean, come on.
Previous administration
caused this this problem with culling

(55:18):
50,000,000
chickens.
So, of course, yeah, it's gonna take some time to to recover from that. And as far as the tariffs go,
I I'm not seeing anything where
prices have gone so ridiculously high on anything. And besides,
there are no tariffs
on things made here in The United States, so buy American.

(55:41):
You get a better quality product, a better price.
Works for me.
Alright.
Well, I think, where are we here?
Alright. Well, I have a few more stories that we we that wanted to cover tonight, but I think, we'll let those we'll let those go for now. Actually, one thing I did wanna cover.

(56:01):
You do know that
there was a very, very
important thing that was supposed to happen today.
And, as of,
09:00
central time,
has not yet happened.
The left has been going
nuts

(56:21):
with this wild conspiracy theory
that on April 20 today,
president Trump was gonna declare martial law.
Did you do you did you hear about that?
According to that, conspiracy theory, a a report supposed to be submitted to president Trump

(56:46):
today, April 20, which is gonna,
supposedly recommend that he invoke the Insurrection Act
to help deal with the border crisis. Now
the border is basically under control. It's, like, 98%,
ninety nine % secure at this point.
Alright? But if he were to invoke the Insurrection Act, it would allow the US military,

(57:08):
US troops to secure the border.
But
the lunatics on the left are convinced that president Trump is going to,
use The US troops not only to secure the border,
but to round up political activists to,
send them to prison in El Salvador,

(57:29):
at Secot, and and it's bizarre.
It is
absolutely bizarre. I don't know where they got this from. I mean, I know
with I the idea of where they got it from, but,
it it has to do with,
with,
the president requesting
within ninety days of an executive order that he issued

(57:50):
that the secretary of defense and the secretary of homeland security,
to submit a, a joint report to the president,
about,
about the border, about the conditions at the border, the southern border,
and and to make whatever recommendations they felt were appropriate
to
additionally secure the border

(58:10):
and, to gain more,
the what's the term?
Operational control
of the of the southern border
and, that and and and and also to include whether or not
the
Insurrection Act of eighteen o seven should be should be invoked.

(58:36):
So that's basically where they get the idea from.
So
it's not gonna happen.
I don't know I don't know how else to say it.
It's it's it's just not gonna happen.

(59:04):
What I do think is gonna happen is that you're gonna start you're gonna see
if
okay.
If the administration
does
decide to use the military at the border
to secure the border further,
you've of course, you're gonna see protests. The left is gonna go nuts. They're gonna protest, and,

(59:29):
you you're gonna see
all of these demonstration grow, which is supposedly gonna be a planned thing.
Then you'll see the, you know, the false flags,
crisis pop up, you know, where the administration will start turning,
protests into terror.
Then, you know, and then
that's when Trump is gonna declare martial law, and and it's just gonna escalate from there. Then you're gonna have the arrest, then you're gonna have,

(59:55):
you know, censorship and,
you you
know, all that stuff, all culminating with the elections being postponed indefinitely.
Alright. That's
the left. That's what they're thinking.
Okay?
Insane.
Yes. Absolutely insane.

(01:00:20):
This is not what what president Trump intends to do at all, if he even deploys the military to the border. Like I said, as it is right now, the border is under control. It's 98 to 99
secure.
So there's no there really is no reason to escalate
what's going on at the border as far as,
military personnel.

(01:00:41):
So I I don't see this happening. The left has, again,
lost their mind,
and,
I I again, you know, I I say it over and over again.
Liberalism is a mental illness.
It is absolutely a mental illness.
Alright, folks. That's where we're gonna cut it for today. I did have a couple more stories I wanted to get to, especially something down down here in Texas, but we can pick that up tomorrow.

(01:01:08):
But it's a it's a big win for the do nothing Republicans
in the Texas House. So, we'll talk about that more tomorrow.
But, again, just our shout outs as always to our executive producers,
Wayne and Rosanna Rankin. Thank you guys so much for what you do. Also, our shout out to our producer,
anonymous Angela. Thank you so much for everything that you've been doing. You've been a great help to me, and I do really do appreciate it. And, don't forget to check us out on all our social media

And then also, don't forget to, check us out on Truth Social. Very important. Get on Truth Social. If you wanna know what the administration is doing, that's the place to go.

(01:01:58):
Alright, folks.
That's gonna do it for us for tonight.
Thanks again for being with us. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. We have a guest tomorrow night.
Look forward to it. It's gonna be an important discussion to talk about teen suicide. So extremely important.
We'll see you tomorrow night, 08:00 central time, right here on Rumble. Good night, and goodbye, folks.

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
