Have you ever wondered how a simple routine can make massive changes in your life? Well, hold on to your hats as we bid farewell to the final week of the Poddy Report and reflect on the incredible journey that unfolded through our 1,356 episodes!

With 912 episodes of the Potty Report and 444 episodes of the Proffitt Podcast, we've proven that determination and consistency make the magic happen. By making podcasting part of my regular schedule, a mountain of episodes piled up before I even realized it.

But here's the twist: these five-minute-or-less episodes unknowingly prepared me for an intriguing challenge at the Ramsey Solutions Influencer event, where I was tasked with delivering a speech in under five minutes. Through this journey, we've seen how seemingly unrelated pieces can come together to lead us toward future opportunities.

So, buckle up and join us for this grand finale as we celebrate the power of routine, the importance of recognizing personal victories, and the unexpected ways our efforts can bear fruit. Keep it fresh, keep it fun, and no matter what, just keep going.

Welcome back to the last week of the Potty Report.
Now, that feels really strangeto say instead of welcome back
to another episode.
But here we are.
I don't know how I'm gonna makeit through this week, but you
know what we're just gonna do it.
It's gonna be like ripping offa bandaid, because the show must

(00:24):
go on and we just must keepgoing.
So this last and final week, Iwanted to reflect on some of the
incredible things that thispodcast has given me, and one of
the things that I mean itshould be obvious, but I don't
know that I've really said itenough out loud.

(00:45):
So I'm actually in Buzzsproutright now.
My you know, everybody knowsthis is my podcast host and as
I'm looking at this, there are912 episodes of this podcast 912
.
And I'm actually gonna add itup.
So I have 912, then I have 444of the Profit podcast.

(01:07):
That gives me 1,356 podcastepisodes.
Let me say that again, 1,356episodes.
Are you kidding me?
Are you kidding me?
Are you kidding me?
And 912 of those I've createdin the last three years, and

(01:29):
they are five minutes or less.
Now I bring all this up becauseone I'm just trying to be more,
I guess, compassionate withmyself and my own journey and
really finding the places tocelebrate the wins.
And 912, wow, I mean, this oneis 913, which is just bonkers to

(01:51):
me.
It is so wild that I'verecorded that many episodes of
this show.
But also for anybody that's outthere and you're like, well, you
know, how did you do that?
It was really simple.
I made it part of my routine.
If I was going out of town Iwas gonna record episodes before
I left, or maybe record themwhile I was on the road.

(02:14):
Like there were so manydifferent versions of how I was
able to create this podcast.
But at the end of the day, ifyou go back, you're gonna
realize that so many of thoseepisodes like it wasn't rocket
science, it really wasn't.
I didn't spend hours and hoursand hours prepping everything.
I just turned on the microphoneand said what can I talk about

(02:37):
in five minutes that's gonna bevaluable?
What's a story that I can tell,what's a staff that I can share
, what is a valuable resourcethat we can dive into?
And how can I do that in lessthan five minutes?
That was the challenge I thinkback to.
Let's just tell my husbandabout this earlier this week
that the purpose that thispodcast served for me, I would

(03:00):
have never been able to tell youwhen I first started.
So in 2020, that's when Istarted the podcast and then in
2021, I was invited to comespeak at the Ramsey Solutions
Influencer event.
And guess what If you haven'tgot like, go back and listen to
those episodes around that time, because it's kind of freaking
out it was a really big deal.

(03:22):
I had to speak in front ofpeople.
I didn't really know the setupbefore I got there, but I knew I
had to speak for guess what, guess how long.
Less than five minutes.
Less than five minutes, thatwas the thing it said.
Hey, you're gonna get thisopportunity to stand up and
speak.
We wanna give you know, yougotta give a speech.
It's gotta be less than fiveminutes.

(03:42):
And I laughed because I hadbeen for about a year and a half
doing this podcast, unknowinglypreparing myself with the
skills and the training that Ineeded to stand up and
confidently speak on fiveminutes or less.
I actually talked to HeatherHeather's you know my speaking

(04:03):
coach.
I've talked about her manytimes, but I told her I was like
I'm shocked that it's just fiveminutes, because had I not been
doing this podcast, I wouldhave not been prepared for it.
I would have not.
So I'm telling you this todayjust to give you some insights
into something that you startthat you're not really sure what

(04:23):
the purpose is or why am I evendoing this thing.
And then something will cometogether in the future that
you're like oh my gosh, had Inot started that a year and a
half earlier, I would have notbeen prepared, I would not have
been able to confidently say yes, I can absolutely do that.
So that is just one piece ofthe puzzle that this podcast has
served for me, and I'm just sograteful for it.

(04:46):
But that's all I have for youtoday.
So, as always, remember, keepit fresh, keep it fun and just
keep going.
