As was masterfully depicted by our Master Teacher Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, black male sexuality is seen as a threat to the dominant society, for the fact that melanated genes are dominant. Therefore, the dominant society takes special care to highly police and limit black male sexual access.
Also, they use their underlying fear of it as a justification to penalize and brutalize black men.
In this edition of Poethnic Justice, we discuss both the historical and current-day implementation of the "big black brute" narrative and how this trope has and is used to target black males.
