Family,
As a published author and literary enthusiast, the primary reason I started the Poethnic Justice Podcast was because I saw how powerful the act of reading and writing is in the fight for justice. I felt it was my duty as a wordsmith to highlight this fact.
Whether it was Dr. King, Malcolm X, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Ida B. Wells, or any other of our Master Teachers, they were adamant readers and prolific writers.
Many of us don't see the act of intently reading and writing on a daily basis as transformative, and that is by design because The System doesn't want you to know. But, make no mistake, brothers and sisters. The act of doing so is nothing short of revolutionary.
