(00:18):
Welcome to the 25th episode ofthe Postmugglism Podcast.
I'm your host, Nate.
Today is a brand new day, andPapa's got a brand new bag.
I'm trying some new things outin this episode of the podcast
in hopes of further streamliningmy content pipeline and being
able to produce more and moreoften.
But more about that in just aminute.
First, thanks for tuning intothis episode, Emotions in the
Body.
And note, that's not emotionsand the body, it's emotions in
(00:40):
the body.
Because this episode is abouthow our bodies store emotional
energy, such as trauma, at thephysical, mental, and spiritual
level.
And what happens when we don'taddress this for a long time,
and just what exactly we can doabout it in the present moment.
And also years later if we'veignored it for a time.
I'm going to share some of myown experiences and discoveries
as a shamanic healer, helpingpeople work out old emotional
(01:01):
traumas to get relief fromphysical problems, decades after
their initial traumas tookplace.
And I'm going to walk youthrough a very effective
diagnostic process that you canuse to find and identify
energetic issues in your ownlife.

com I'm pretty excited aboutthis episode for a variety of
reasons.
If you're a returning visitor tothe show, though, I feel like I
should give you some advancenotice that this episode is
going to be very different fromall my previous ones because I'm
trying a new approach.
(01:42):
I'm putting out a lot of stuffthese days on a lot of
platforms, and I tend to have aperfectionist attitude towards
anything that I produce, so Ispend more time scripting and
editing now than I actually dosharing my ideas, and I'm trying
to change that.
This podcast has been thegreatest time sink of all the
stuff that I'm making, so I'vebeen rethinking the format a
little bit to expedite myepisode creation.
(02:02):
The short version of the storyis that I'm moving from a
scripted performance format to ajust you and me talking kind of
format that will be less formal, more conversational, and more
forgiving of minor errors.
I've also incorporated somefancy new AI tools into my
workflow, so you may notice someimprovements.
If you like this new format, oryou hate it, please let me know.
I'm definitely still tweakingand refining the concept.
(02:23):
And as we go through thisepisode, if you have questions
about your own healing journeyor your own experiences with
energy in the body, please feelfree to reach out to me by email
or direct message and I'll do mybest to help.
You can find me on x slashtwitter as postmugglism and by

All right, moving into thecontent of this episode now.
Let's get started with anexplanation of what I mean when
(03:07):
I say emotional energy, and thendiscuss how this gets stored in
the body, and how this can causehealth issues over time, and
what we can do about it.
Enjoy.
Samson Q2U Microphon (03:22):
Mainstream
medicine, more or less refuses
to acknowledge the existence ofemotional energy as something
that can be stored in the bodyand have some kind of an effect
on your physical being.
Unless, of course you come tothem with something they can't
understand and then they have toblame it on stress.
I remember this used to happento me all the time.
I would go to the doctor withlike heart palpitations or some
(03:42):
other kind of weird thing thatwas bothering me and it'd been
going on for some time and Icouldn't solve it myself.
And that would be their answerbecause they couldn't think of
anything else to do besides justsay, this is stress.
And it's not like they werewrong.
That's that's exactly what itwas, but they didn't really have
anything that they could do tohelp me relieve that stress
besides give me the advice oflike getting a better job or
something like that, whichwasn't very helpful.
(04:03):
And that's kind of the problem,we don't really have any tools
in the allopathic medicinalframework for dealing with
energy and the body and for themost part we pretend like it's
not a real thing.
But my experiences as a shamanicenergy healer have removed any
doubt in my mind that, energy inthe body is a real thing.
In fact, I've come to understandthat essentially every health
(04:27):
problem has a physical, mental, and emotional and spiritual
component.
That every problem exists ateach of those layers
simultaneously.
And crazy as it sounds, chronicpain and illness can typically
be traced back to some kind ofan unresolved, emotional trauma,
some intense, emotionalexperience that we weren't able
(04:47):
to really wrap our brains aroundor fully integrate at the time
and have buried somewhere in ourpsyche, our subconscious and
that's caused some kind of abreak that makes us work around
that emotional issue.
And in, so doing, we createimbalance in our mind and our
energetic body, and theneventually also on our physical
body.
(05:09):
How does that work, exactly?
Well, according to my teacher,Alberto Villoldo of the four
winds Institute, wheretraditional medicine focuses on
the physical body and the layerswithin like bone, muscle tissue
and so forth.
Uh, the parts of it that we cansee and touch.
There is more to our being thanwhat meets the eye.
(05:29):
In addition to those physicallayers, we also have an
energetic body which is oftenreferred to as the light body.
Samson Q2U Microphone & Fac (05:35):
And
this energetic body sits between
our spirit and our physicalbeing.
Samson Q2U Microphone & Face (05:39):
So
like the divine spark, if you
will, flows through our spiritand into our energetic body.
And as my teacher says, theenergetic body is constantly
projecting or manifesting ourphysical form into being.
And so when we collect some kindof emotional debris, some energy
that really isn't our ownanymore, or it should've passed
on after we had experienced it.
(06:01):
When that collects in the body,it acts as kind of a filter.
And you can imagine sort of likea can light where you put like a
blue filter or a green filter infront of the light, and it
changes the...the color of thelights.
Such it is with us.
When we collect some kind ofemotional debris.
That heavier denser energy isthen projected into our physical
being.
And that eventually leads to allkinds of physical illnesses and
(06:24):
disease.
To address this problem, and toachieve permanent healing, it's
essential to address both thephysical problem and the
underlying emotional and mentalissues.
Only by releasing the energy ofthat experience, of that
emotional trauma, can we freeour minds to integrate its
lessons and allow our body torestore balance.
(06:45):
Everybody has experiencedfeeling emotional energy in the
body, but probably hasn'trecognized that as it's
happening.
So here are some of the mostcommon examples that everybody
has encountered at one time oranother.
For example, anxiety and stressmanifest as digestive issues,
IBS, and so on in theintestines.
And grief or a broken heart canhave a direct impact on the
(07:06):
respiratory and cardiovascularsystems.
And I think we've probably allexperienced untreated emotional
fatigue that leads to physicalexhaustion, like when you've
been fighting with yoursignificant other for hours and
hours, and it just drains youcompletely.
And you know, if that goes onfor several days, it can impact
your general wellbeing.
Emotional burdens can often feellike physical burdens resulting
(07:29):
in back shoulder and arm pain.
My wife, Sarah, for example, hadan experience where she wasn't
able to lift her arms over abouther shoulder height, without it
being really, really painful.
And this was happening at thesame time that her aging parents
were needing some help and we'reat a distance here.
And so she was feeling some, some guilt for that and some
(07:50):
burden for not being able to bethere in person.
And this was also triggeringsome like prior childhood issues
as well.
And possibly the most common ofall is a headache that comes
from some kind of challenging ordifficult to accept information.
These are all just examples ofhow emotional energy shows up in
the body.
And these are kind of the directcause and effect examples, where
(08:13):
there are many other exampleswhere there's a much less direct
and obvious kind of aconnection, but can still result
in serious physical issues andlong-term mental health
concerns.
Where does this energy that'shurting us come from?
Samson Q2U Microphone & F (08:27):
Well,
it can come from our own
emotional state if we're reallyangry and we can't let it go, or
we're very sad and we can't getourselves out of it.
Those
kinds of things, those will
affect our health, but it canalso be energy that we're
exposed to other people's energyor energy from our environment.
Settings, like your workplace orsocial surroundings can directly
affect your personal energy andwellbeing.
(08:48):
Simply by passing through somespace and lingering in it.
You pick up the energy that isin the air.
Spending a lot of time withsomebody who's a very negative
person can bring you down.
And likewise, spending time withsomebody who's very positive
person can lift you up.
But what's necessary in order totake care of ourselves is to
prioritize regular energeticself-care practices.
(09:09):
And these are essential becauseyou want to cleanse the energy
of other people off of you andout of your field, as you go
about your life or you'll carrythat like energetic residue and
that emotion into your otherexperiences.
This is why when you get angryat one person, it's very
difficult not to be angry withthe next person, right.
You're still sitting in thatenergy.
(09:30):
And so it sort of transfers.
And in addition to our ownenergetic hygiene regimen, it's
a really good idea toperiodically have your energy
reset with a professionalcleansing Here in Mexico, we
call them limpias and you canhave your energy field cleansed
with smudging and flower, essences and prayers and things
(09:50):
like that.
How big of a problem is thisthough?
Well, this stuff can kill you.
Stress and unresolved, emotionalissues are very much linked to
various physical ailments andare considered leading causes of
illness and even mortality.
Um, indirectly at least, youknow, it creates a lot of
situations in which your lifewill be threatened in the
longterm.
(10:10):
Heart disease is exacerbated bystress.
Diabetes is more likely understressful conditions and so on.
So it creates conditions thatdeteriorate the body.
And then over time, that leadsto a shorter lifespan.
And this leads to a verydestructive cycle where the
toxic energy that's stored inthe body creates some kind of
pain and discomfort.
(10:31):
And then over time that becomeschronic and leads to illness.
And once you're trapped inchronic pain, that leads to a
poor mental health state becauseit's depressing and demoralizing
to constantly not feel good andnot be able to do the things
that you want to do.
Samson Q2U Microphone & Fac (10:46):
And
when you're in that kind of a
situation, you tend todeprioritize self care, which
leads to an overall drop in yourwellbeing.
And
of course that feeds back into
the cycle, more pain, moreillness, and a lower mental
health state.
And so on.
And there are things that we cando about this.
We can learn to manage ourenergy, but in the west, we
certainly weren't raised thatway.
(11:07):
We've had to learn it as adultsand as adults, we have already
had years worth of emotionaltrauma that we need to work
through.
So we need to learn energetichygiene techniques, such as
cleansing and meditation tomanage our emotional energy and
improve our overall health.
But there are most likely, almost certainly things that are
(11:28):
buried deep in our psyche andour subconscious that need to be
rooted out with professionalassistance by going to an
energetic healer and workingwith them to find the parts that
you can't necessarily seeyourself.
I mean, even myself as ashamanic energy healer, when
there's something really deep orreally stuck, I have to go to my
buddy Jerome, who went throughthe same training that I did.
(11:50):
And, uh, you know, we tradesessions because there are all
kinds of things that you can'tsee once it's buried in your
subconscious, it becomes part ofyour shadow, if you will.
You won't be able to see it inyourself.
And you'll you'll need a partnerto work with.
And somebody who's talented in,you know, gently bringing those
things out of you in ways thatyou can see and recognize and
work with.
In order to maintain yourenergetic hygiene there are a
(12:13):
variety of practices which arevery useful, such as salt baths
or swimming in the ocean, whichis my personal favorite smudging
with incense and so forth andscraping your energy field with
selenite to cleanse and restoreyour sense of balance.
Similarly, you can tap intomeditation as a way to recenter
(12:34):
yourself and In that meditativestate, you can work through the
things that are bothering yousort of bring them up in your
mind.
Feel where they are in the body.
Listen to what the body has tosay about that.
And then with some of thetechniques I'm going to talk
about here in a moment, tracethat to its origin.
And, and go through a releasingprocess, such that something
(12:54):
such as a fire ceremony.
Where you take your, the, thepieces of yourself, the pieces
of your psyche, that you intendto release those old beliefs or
bad habits and things like that.
And say you blow it into astick, take your, your sensation
of it, your awareness of it andyour desire to change it.
(13:14):
Like that.
And then you light that on fire.
And let that burn away, or youcan do something, you know, a
much bigger fire ceremony abonfire ceremony, if you have
the space, obviously, but theseare things that you can do with
tools as simple as a candle anda toothpick.
Also just connecting with theearth through grounding
exercises and time spent outsidein nature, particularly barefoot
(13:36):
and with a certain amount ofskin exposed to the sun and to
the elements and so forth.
These exercises can ground youand help you release
unconsciously the stuff that'sjust kind of currently hanging
in your field, you know, it'snot going to necessarily get rid
of that deeper trauma stuff, butfor the stuff that you're
dealing with right now, it's,it's a great way to release that
(13:56):
so that it doesn't become traumathat you have to deal with with
more serious work later on.
And finally just contributing toother people's healing through
like intention groups.
Learning Reiki and sendinghealing energy to people and
things like that, that's awonderful way to bring positive
energy into your field and toboost your, your personal
wellbeing.
And
while you might not be able to
(14:17):
clear all of your deeperemotional issues without some
kind of professional assistance,it can be very useful to have
some better idea of what it isthat you want to work on, when
you go see someone like that.
and so I'm going to teach you alittle self-diagnosis method
that's quite easy and simple andhas worked for everybody that
I've shown it to.
To start, stop thinking.
The mind confuses things, confuses the issue by filling
(14:40):
our head with what if scenariosand potential reasons why and
the body is just a much simplerkind of communicator.
So listen to the body instead.
What does it feel like when yousit quietly with your feelings?
Just whatever is present for youright now.
Can you identify any physicalsensations that stem from those
feelings?
Are you nervous?
(15:00):
Are you feeling that in the gut?
Are you overwhelmed or are youfeeling it in the head or the
heart?
Are your palms sweating?
So on.
If, so describe what thissensation is like to you in
physical terms.
Do you feel full or empty?
Do you feel pulled?
You feel weighed down?
Is it heavy?
Is it light?
So on.
And then try to identify wherein the body it is.
Are you, are you feeling this inthe head or are you feeling it
(15:21):
in the heart or in the stomach?
Now, if you've identified all ofthose things, if we were able to
put that together so far, thenlet's just try to put a name to
it.
Give that a description,something physical, like I'm
feeling a weight on myshoulders.
I'm feeling an emptiness in mychest.
I'm feeling.
Uh, twisting nervous feeling inmy guts.
(15:42):
And once you've been able toname it, you can trace it back
in time, asking yourself,"when'sthe first time that I remember
ever feeling this sensation?".
And believe it or not, there'llbe some kind of a weird
connection between that firstmemory a long time ago and
whatever you're feeling now,because there's some kind of a
pattern that's repeating itselfthroughout time.
And in many cases, this is somesort of a karmic lesson that's
(16:04):
presenting you all of these newopportunities to learn the same
lesson until you get it right,so to speak.
So diagnosing these issues ishalf of solving the problem in
the first place.
So let's say we've gone to thisexercise and we know that we're
feeling a heaviness in our chestor a twisting feeling in the
guts or something like that.
What do we do with thatinformation?
(16:25):
Well, we need a map in order tounderstand this territory of our
body and chakras are really thebest and simplest map for
understanding the energeticbody.
So starting at the bottom andworking our way up.
I'm going to go through each ofthe chakras and kind of explain
what they relate to.
The first is the root chakra, and this is at the base of the
spine and it influences securityand your feeling of connection
to the physical world, to mothernature, to life, and so on.
(16:49):
The belly chakra sits in thelower abdomen, relates to our
base drives and our connectionsto family and ancestry and
sexualIty.
The third chakra, the solarplexus chakra sits in the upper
abdomen and controlsself-esteem, confidence,
motivation, drive, our sense ofpersonal power, and so on.
And the next, the heart chakra, which sits in the center of our
(17:10):
chest is associated with givingand receiving love, compassion,
and a general sense of emotionalwellbeing.
Next, the throat chakra governscommunication and
self-expression.
And then the third eye slightlyabove and between the eyebrows
is associated with thinking andknowing, sort of a mental
intuition.
So not intuiting by yourfeelings, but by sudden
(17:33):
unexplained knowings, that's thethird eye intuition.
And then finally the crown atthe top of our head, this is the
seat of our spiritual connectionto our higher consciousness and
also to the divine.
And each of the chakras relateto not only a part of the body,
but also kind of a part of thepsyche and so issues, physical
issues that are taking place inone part of the body or the
(17:54):
other can be located to thenearest chakra essentially.
And that will give you clues tounderstanding what kind of an
emotional issue might be, uh,underlying that are at the root
of that.
So starting again at the firstchakra and working our way up.
Root chakra.
Physical issues could be in thelegs feet, the spine tailbone,
buttocks, and so on.
And it might relate to feelingdisconnected or directionless.
(18:17):
Feeling immobilized, beingconsumed with paranoia, feeling
persecution, phobias, or just aninability to trust that the
universe is going to care foryou and take care of you.
Issues in the belly chakra, physically, would be
reproductive issues or issueswith the bladder and abdomen.
Back pain sometimes.
And these might relate to issueswith the family.
(18:38):
with your sexuality.
With your feelings of self worthor even potentially karmic
issues.
And the next in the solarplexus, the physical issues
would be digestive problems, problems with muscle tissue and
metabolism.
And the emotional counterpartswould be power struggles, low
self-esteem, lack of confidenceand inability to make decisions.
(18:58):
Next in the heart chakra, thephysical issues are problems
with the heart and circulatorysystem, heart palpitations and
respiratory problems.
And these might relate to issueswith giving and receiving love,
feelings of isolation, overwhelming grief or apathy.
Next in the throat chakra.
The issues might relate to thethroat or neck or the jaw.
(19:19):
So things like a sore throat ora thyroid problem could be
throat chakra issues.
And then these might relate toemotional problems with
communication, difficultyexpressing oneself or, or
feeling like one is being heard.
And then in the third eye, theissues are headaches obviously,
and then issues with the eyes, ears, balance, and dizziness and
so on.
And these relate to more mentalconcerns, like lack of clarity,
(19:43):
intuition, and insight, andfeelings of confusion, or an
inability to accept reality.
And finally at the crown, injuries and disease of the
brain and the nervous system arethe physical ailments that
relate to the crown chakra.
And these would relate tospiritual issues like spiritual
disconnection, lack of purposeand feelings of separation from
(20:05):
the divine.
When we understand this map andthe territory and how to
navigate it, we get all kinds ofbenefits from the ability to
release emotional energy, to letthings go.
And I don't just mean let themgo in our mind, but actually let
them go with our body.
And the benefits of this includethings like just a greater peace
of mind and sense of tranquilityand being okay in one's self and
(20:26):
one's body.
And increased emotional controlas well.
And the reduction of sort oftriggering events and people
that trigger us or that weproject our issues onto.
It aids us in our personalevolution because by releasing
the emotional energy, we canfinally integrate those
experiences mentally,psychologically and then we
experience personal growth.
And this leads to enhancedtolerance of others and a deeper
(20:49):
understanding of ourselves.
And finally it improves therelationships that we have with
the people around us and theworld around us in general,
because by releasing the issuesthat are holding us back, we
stop projecting our problems onto others, and that leads to
healthier and more harmoniousrelationships individually,
intimately, and of course, justin the greater world at large as
(21:10):
well.
In addition to these traditionalemotional types of problems
there are problems that we canencounter which don't
necessarily have to do with someexperience that we've had
personally in this lifetimeanyway.
They can stretch back to priorlifetimes or to our lineage as
well.
So we, we bear the crosses ofour prior generations, certainly
(21:31):
in karmic terms.
And there's really nothing fairor unfair about that.
That's just the way that thingswork.
You are a composition of a lotof different forces, including
the energies of your, yourancestors.
And as that adds up into you,you get the good and the bad
with that.
And this karmic responsibilityof processing and integrating
(21:52):
these experiences, some of themnot even being your own
necessarily, it's just part ofthe show.
So if you want to be healthy, and not have problems, just
accept that from time to time, you're going to have some
ancestral trauma that you haveto contribute to working out.
And likewise you'll have somepast life traumas that you'll
have to contribute to balancingyour energy across those
(22:12):
lifetimes as well.
But these can be a littletrickier to identify because
it's not an experience thathappened to you.
So when you do thisself-diagnostic that I talked to
you just a minute ago, itdoesn't work quite the same way
because you can't trace it backin time to some original wound
that's in your own life.
Any problem that has always beenwith you since, as far back as
you can remember, it's verylikely to be either an ancestral
(22:35):
trauma or a past life traumathat's manifesting into this
life.
And you'll deal with them inmuch the same type of way with
maybe a few little quirks or, ordifferences about the approach.
But the effect is basically thesame.
We release the energy.
And then we integrate theexperience.
And in this case, not evennecessarily mentally as much as
spiritually and across thelineage.
(22:56):
Or across our past lives.
So as we're looking at, let'ssay ancestral trauma first.
The types of issues that arevery common to encounter in your
lineage somewhere would bethings like matrilineal issues.
These are more common in myexperience than patrilineal
issues.
Not to say that those don'texist, but it's that mothers
pass on their belief structuresto particularly their daughters.
(23:19):
And as this happens over manygenerations, there can be this
kind of inertia that young womenare always pulling against.
That comes from the beliefs andthe lifestyles and the
restrictions that their mothersand their mothers, mothers had
to live through.
And in many cases, they can beheld back in some kind of way
(23:39):
from expressing themselves asthey would in a modern
situation, as they believe theyhave the right to do because of
this sort of weight of thisancestral trauma of their
matrilineal line and the womenof the matrilineal line, not
being able to express themselvesthat way.
And it's interesting becauseit's both a call, a cry for help
from that line to be healed butsometimes it feels sort of
(24:01):
judgmental as if your ancestorsare looking down on you.
And these aren't my words.
This is the words of multipleclients that I've had that have
been in this situation.
So that's fairly common.
And another one, and this ismore common in the patrilineal
line though not exclusivelywould be something like
alcoholism and other forms ofaddiction.
Families with histories ofaddictive personalities can
leave lasting impacts on futuregenerations.
(24:23):
And that requires Healing,primarily through
self-understanding bydiscovering and then breaking
that cycle.
And the same can be said forabuse of all different types,
whether that's physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual
abuse.
Oftentimes that repeats itselfdown a family line
(24:43):
unfortunately, you know, passingfrom mother or father to child,
and then as that child grows up,they have kids, they repeat the
same problems, the samemistakes, until somewhere in
that line, someone sort of wakesup to the pattern that's
happening within them anddecides to bear the
responsibility and heal thewound.
And another really interestingone that I've encountered a
(25:04):
number of times is with thechildren of immigrant families.
They often carry self-abusivework and or study ethics due to
ancestral trauma from, you know, grandfather, coming to say
America from a differentcountry, and then having to work
harder than everyone else, andseeing it as necessary in order
to make it in this world.
(25:25):
In the modern age, most of thatdoesn't translate very well, but
second and third generation kidscan be very.
weighed on by their parents.
And by kind of just theexpectation of their ancestry in
general, to succeed above andbeyond, to always work hard, to
always study hard, even to thepoint of sort of like self abuse
is very common.
So these are forms of ancestraltrauma that are very common and
(25:47):
it's certainly notcomprehensive, but these are
some that I've seen come uprepeatedly with my clients.
To do something about this, toheal ancestral traumas, you're
going to need the help of aprofessional energy healer.
And not necessarily just like aReiki healer though there's
absolutely nothing wrong withReiki.
Reiki is primarily good forboosting health by sending
positive energy to someone, itdoesn't necessarily like dig in
(26:08):
and do the surgical work ofremoving these old wounds or
identifying the issues thatunderlie them.
So when you're looking for, anenergetic healing provider, make
sure it's someone that has thistherapeutic aspect to what they
do as well.
Some of my favorite strategiesthat I use all the time are
things like cord cuttings, whereyou...it's not necessarily cut
something loose, but you kind oflike clear the expectations from
(26:31):
the lineage.
That happens a lot with thematrilineal line or with
repeated abuse.
We cut the cord.
We thank the line for all oftheir gifts and we send them to
their highest good, which meansthat we let go of all of the
heavier stuff and we keep onlythe stuff that's light and
diffuse.
Another tactic that's verydifferent, but also very
(26:52):
effective is what my teachercalled and ancestral
constellation, which is kind ofa weird way to title it.
But the idea is that yousurround yourself with the
spirits of various recently deadancestors that can sort of
function as intermediaries foryou.
And with your partner, you'reasked to take on the persona of
let's say your dead grandmother, dead grandfather, or something
(27:13):
and then answer your questionsor answer the questions of the
healer who is acting on yourbehalf.
So you come up with a list ofquestions, what you want to
know.
You take on the role of your.
Uh, ancestor.
The healer asks you thequestion, and then you answer as
if you were your deadgrandmother, grandfather.
And you do so without thinkingtoo much about it and sort of
speak off the top of your mind.
(27:34):
And you go around and you havethese conversations with various
dead ancestors to get differentintuitive.
Uh, insights into what might beunderlying your problem.
And then from that, you can gothrough an integrative process.
You can sit and contemplate inyour normal state of mind what
that might mean to you.
You can investigate some of thethings that come up, if there
were facts that you can lookinto and so forth.
(27:55):
From that it's interesting howmuch useful information can
arise.
Another different tactic wouldbe a guided meditation, once
you've been working withsomeone, you have to work with
them for a little while so thatthey know kind of what your
issues are like.
And then they can walk youthrough various guided
meditation sessions and have youencounter various prompts or
(28:16):
archetypes that provide insightinto your problem as well.
And this is just kind of diggingaround in your psyche and with a
guide.
And finally ancestral venerationreally is one of the most
effective and simplest andeasiest to just keep as an
ongoing practice kind oftechniques that comes out of
ancestral healing endeavor.
Simply honoring your ancestorswith simple rituals and
(28:38):
ceremonies that acknowledgetheir presence.
And once you've established arelationship with them to seek
their guidance and theirblessing-this is something we
should probably all do- but ifyou're having issues with your
lineage, it's a very good timeto, uh, to pay it forward.
Light them a candle, leave themsome treats that they liked in
life or a cup of coffee, If theywere a coffee drinkera.
(28:59):
A little shot glass of booze, ifthat was their thing and so on
to reconnect with them on anenergetic level.
And all of these things, youshould probably do all of these
things together.
Doing some iteration doing yourown meditation and the guided
meditation.
Being walked through ancestralconstellation and cutting some
cords as you identify thoseproblems.
But using all of thesetechniques together, you can do
(29:22):
a great deal towards healingthese ancestral wounds.
When it comes to past lifeissues or karmic patterns, if
you will, these can be equallyas difficult to identify.
Maybe even a little bit moredifficult because in the case of
ancestral traumas, you can kindof look back in your family's
history and say, are thesepatterns that repeat?
You know, I act this way, doesmy mother and my father act this
(29:43):
way?
Does their mother or theirfather act this way?
Is this a family style problem?
And, and find it that way.
When it comes to past lifeissues, it's oftentimes just the
category of things that we don'treally know where they come
from.
And, you know, it requiressomebody who can Get a visionary
state going and channel someimage from your past life to get
a clue as to what that mighthave looked like in context.
(30:05):
And of course, That can besomewhat difficult to trust
because you know, who knows, howdo you verify any of that
information?
But what we do know is thatthese patterns appear and that
they're not linked to specificthings that happened to us in
our lives.
And therefore we can't likepoint a finger at a bad habit
that we have and go, I know whyI do that.
And if we can't.
And it doesn't exist anywhere inour ancestry, then it's most
(30:26):
likely a past life issue, somekind of karma that we're
discovering and then processing.
And typical kinds of karmicproblems that you might incur
would be things like unexplainedfears and triggers, phobias that
you have, but don't seemparticularly rational.
You don't have any reason to be,incredibly afraid of fire or
(30:46):
heights or spiders or something, but it's there and you can't
shake it.
Likewise.
Patterns that just expressthemselves over and over and
over again that are unhealthyobviously to you and others, but
there's nothing that you feellike you can do about them
because every time, no matterwhat you try to do, you just end
up in these same situationsagain.
And this often happens uhrelated to your, your passions,
(31:09):
your, what you think are yourpassions or your purpose.
Um, the love that you're tryingto seek and so on, and if you're
looking for the wrong type ofexpression of the wrong type of
person.
Without realizing that thesewill just happen again and again
and again, until we finallyunderstand this is a karmic
lesson.
I had, uh, both, I was attractedto women that were very, very
bad for me.
And I was attracted to jobs androles that were very bad for me.
(31:31):
And I would continue to go backto the same type of pattern,
even though I thought I wasmaybe trying something new or
different.
It would just end up being thesame.
And I couldn't see it at first.
And so that's a pretty goodexample of what it might look
like when you're unraveling somekind of a karmic pattern.
And sometimes, you know, it'snot really about you.
Sometimes you're healing somekind of societal trauma.
(31:52):
You're working out some karmicpattern that, that affects
everybody, everybody in yourgeneration or everybody in your
nation, the history of yournation.
And when that happens, we don'treally have any direct thing
that we can do besides gothrough that and recognize it
for what it is.
That's, it's grieving andhealing, some kind of a
collective karmic wound.
(32:13):
There's a lot of that happeningin the world right now.
And we can see it.
It doesn't seem like anybody cando anything to get in front of
some of the tragedies that arehappening right now.
And.
It goes back multiplegenerations.
It goes back sometimes in somecases, you know, hundreds or
thousands of years.
And no one person can untangleit, but everybody is involved.
In a sort of a field effect ofit and these things will affect
(32:37):
all of us as well.
And all that we can do isrecognize them.
Release the energy and move onand that in some way,
contributes to the processingand the healing of that at a
field level.
Now, one of the most commonquestions that I get asked.
Is what about doctors andmedicine?
If you're after a shamanicenergy healer do you go to the
(32:59):
doctor?
Of course, I go to the doctorbecause shamanic energy healing
doesn't, you know, heal brokenbones or cut fingers or, um,
necessarily eradicate infectionsthough, in many cases, energy
healing has the benefit ofboosting the body's ability to
heal itself.
Whereas traditional medicine hasa very combative kind of
framework, it tries to removedisease, it hides symptoms or
(33:23):
makes them go away.
And in, so doing it impedesnatural healing processes so
that artificial ones can takeover.
Energy medicine is verydifferent from that in that it
operates in a collectivistanimist framework where we're
all connected.
And it tries to enhance thosenatural healing processes by
addressing imbalances acrossmind, body, and spirit.
(33:44):
But that doesn't mean thatthey're entirely opposed to one
another or that they can't getalong in some sense, in fact, If
you want to experience rapidhealing, then it's best to
employ both techniques.
We can aid the body and itsability to heal itself by
removing negative energy.
Then it will heal faster andwill help us maintain a positive
mental state as well, whichboosts our immune system and our
(34:05):
various other healing functions.
Injuries are best addressedfirst with medicine, and then
having the healing processboosted with energy work.
But chronic issues on the otherhand are best addressed first at
the energetic level, and thenaided with physical healing
techniques by medicine andtreatment.
And that's because as we weretalking about before, There's
some kind of an imprint in theenergetic body.
(34:28):
That's filtering the energythat's flowing through us and
causing these problems toregenerate.
So if we just continue toaddress them at a physical
level, we never actually getfull healing.
So it's often very necessary tocombine both of these techniques
as well as homeopathy andvarious other healing techniques
as well.
Now that we know that emotionalenergy is a real thing and it's
worth our attention, that thereis value in clearing and
(34:52):
cleansing ourselves on a regularbasis, let's look into the
future.
What would the world be like?
If, if we all practiced thesehabits, if we all knew how to
clear our energy and to releasethe things that no longer serve
us.
We would prioritize ouremotional homeostasis because
when you're in good energetichealth, It encourages you to be
(35:15):
a better person and encouragesgreater empathy, compassion, and
interconnectedness.
It fosters healthierrelationships and contributes to
a more profound understanding ofthe world.
I think we would make a habit ofclearing our emotional energy
regularly Because when we stayon top of energetic cleansings
with practices like Reiki, crystal healing, smudging, and
so on, we rebalance our vitalenergy regularly, and that keeps
us in a state of wellbeing andmental clarity.
(35:37):
And we would recognize theimportance of not sitting in
toxic emotions.
Because when we do that, we'reliterally forcing ourselves to
relive these traumaticexperiences.
In any case where you've beensitting in some emotion for more
than 15 minutes, It's doing yousome kind of harm.
So it's time to clear that outand move on.
(35:57):
And perhaps most important ofall, you can just imagine how
different the world would be ifwe were teaching our children
these energetic cleansinghabits.
If they didn't have to developdecades of trauma before they
encountered these practices forthe first time, if they started
fresh and stayed fresh, stayedcleansed, how much less trauma
(36:18):
do you think there would be inthe world?
It's kind of an exciting ideafor those of you who have the
opportunity to be parents and toteach your kids.
I highly recommend teaching themenergetic hygiene, smudging,
clearing their chakras and soon, so that whenever they
encounter some problem in life, they know how to handle it
immediately.
And it doesn't end up being aphobia.
(36:39):
A fear.
A resentment.
Something that twists them upfor decades before they realize
that they can just simply let itgo.
Thanks for listening to this25th episode of the Postmugglism
podcast.
I hope this has been informativeand interesting and that you now
have some additional tools andtricks up your sleeve in order
(36:59):
to help yourself be healthier,to maintain your energy, to keep
yourself in a good way and toprepare yourself for the
interesting times that we haveahead of us.
And I don't think that most ofus have any doubt in our minds
that it's not a very good ideato trust mainstream medicine and
pharmaceutical companies andfor-profit hospitals and all of
(37:21):
that mess with our health.
Maybe we have to trust them whenwe have some kind of an
emergency situation, but weprobably shouldn't trust them to
tell us what to eat and how tothink about our health.
Because they have a terribletrack record of it.
And that's simply becausethey're working with limited
information.
What's going on in the physicalbody is only a half or maybe
(37:41):
even just a third of what'sreally going on with us when
we're in some kind of state ofillness.
There are imbalances physically, obviously, but there are also
emotional and spiritualimbalances that have to be
addressed.
And when we ignore these, wejust continue to have the same
problems show up again andagain, and again.
And that happens to too manypeople that they spend the money
and the time and the energy withthe mainstream medicine, but
(38:04):
they fail to get the kind oflasting healing experience that
they're looking for.
And I know that because I'veexperienced that myself and I
didn't actually get anywhere inmy healing journey until I
incorporated both medicaltreatment, herbal remedies, and
so forth and energy healing alltogether with an understanding
that I also had to change mystate of mind and the choices
(38:25):
that I was making to support allof that, because healing is a
holistic endeavor.
