June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, and in this "Best of Episode" aired originally in April 2023 (Episode 23), United States Army veteran Jasmine Nathan shares her story of courage and resilience after being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (MG), a chronic neuromuscular autoimmune disease. In the years since living with MG, Jasmine has undergone various medical procedures, experienced physical changes, and has regular treatments to manage her symptoms. Nevertheless, despite the emotional and mental stress MG can bring, Jasmine explains the power of having a loving support system, and she gives practical ways that you can remain hopeful in challenging situations.
