Amanda Diamond is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Army Veteran, and Mother of two. Her interest in wellness was sparked by her own personal battle with chronic illness, which manifested after 5 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces. Amanda's holistic approach to health emphasizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. She has dedicated her career to guiding women compassionately toward a more balanced approach to food and self-care. She helps her clients create sustainable healthy habits by approaching themselves with kindness and acceptance rather than restriction, deprivation, and perfectionism.
In this episode, we discussed the biggest lessons Amanda takes away from her time in the military, and how Amanda’s diagnosis with her chronic illness changed her outlook on life. She started to approach her lifestyle and habits holistically with her mind, body & soul (just taking a pill isn’t enough!), and SO much more! Follow Amanda at @coachamandadiamond
