On this special week-long edition of the PowerPLAY RePLAY - I’m celebrating some women in power who are near to my heart. And are part of this weekend’s World Vitiligo Day Conference in Minnesota. I’m so proud to be a part of this community who live to support and empower people living with Vitiligo - the focus of the upcoming film documentary, More Than Our Skin.
As I’ve been sharing over the past year, I’ve been working on this project - focusing on the lives of five women: Valarie, Katrina, Millicent, Alicia, and Patricia - all living Vitiligo.
So each day this week, you will hear a bit of their journeys and how their pain became their purpose to help others in their communities.
