Versatility takes center stage as Natalie Boutari—actor, classical pianist, belly dancer, singer, and filmmaker—returns to the Powers Point Podcast for a captivating conversation about creative evolution and artistic perseverance.

Known to many as Hottie from the TV series "Pink is In," Natalie opens up about her ambitious sci-fi screenplay set in 2080, a world where elites control global leaders and Advanced Extraterrestrial Beings lurk in the shadows. With shooting planned for September, she shares the challenges of independent filmmaking, from budget constraints to the fear of failure that nearly stopped her from moving forward.

The conversation takes a musical turn as Natalie reveals her upcoming track that boldly fuses medieval classical with modern trap beats—another example of her fearless genre-blending approach to creativity. Scott shares a touching story about how Natalie's piano compositions brought his hospitalized father to tears, highlighting the profound emotional impact of her music despite modest streaming revenues.

Through a lighthearted game of "This or That," we gain insight into Natalie's preferences and personality, from her love of theater-sized concerts to her surprising comfort with hot rooms. The podcast takes a metaphysical turn discussing synchronicity and manifestation, with both hosts and guest reflecting on meaningful coincidences that suggest positive change on the horizon.

What emerges most vividly is Natalie's renaissance approach to creativity—refusing to be confined by conventional boundaries while navigating the challenging economics of independent artistry. As the episode concludes with the powerful reminder that "good things are coming down the road, just don't stop walking," listeners are left inspired by Natalie's journey and eager to follow her evolving career.

Follow Natalie (Pheroine) on Instagram and YouTube to experience her diverse creative work and support her upcoming projects.

The final song is called Coming Down by Pheroine featuring Mag-T Dibizoss

I'll put it out there like that, nothing like serious, but he's
got to take care of his familyfirst, which is cool.
And uh, also heath.

I've been looking forward tothis man.
I said she's been going to comeback on the show.
She's coming back on the show.
I say it a lot, but Heidi fromPink is it?
And Natalie Batari man, what doyou think?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I think when you told me you had guests on from Pink,
is it?
I think she was the first one Iasked if you'd had her on, do?
You remember that.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, yeah, and a lot of people don't really truly
know how talented she is.
I mean, she's a classic pianistand you can watch her videos
under her stage name FarrowinP-H-E-R-R-O-I-N-E on YouTube, or
you could look her up onInstagram or TikTok.

(02:48):
You know, like all of hervideos are there, and I've been
going to the hospital every dayvisiting my pops and sometimes,
when he gets wound up, I playher piano music.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Wow, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
And I even told her.
I'm like, hey, my pops got tearin his eye, man Cause it calmed
him down, it touched them anduh, she told me to give him a
hug, you know.
So, uh, yeah, she, she's realcool man and I'm glad she's is
back and she'll be joining us injust a few minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So, uh, keith, what you been up to for the last week
a lot of house, uh, getting thehouse back together with the
parents on the way back fromflorida soon.
So I've been working in thebasement, in the yard and
whatnot.
I had to put a um, some privacyfence back up that I thought
maybe some neighborhood kidsthat kept pushing down.

(03:44):
But when I went to to put itback up myself, I caught the
wind and you know the windstarted to play.
I was like you know, so I justI kind of got it left down right
now.
You know not that that'sexciting, but that's really
what's been going on through myweek, that and trying to get my
voice back.
So you know, excuse me, Iapologize for the sound of it.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
You know a lot of people.
They say what kind of weatheryou have up there in the midwest
?
Well, I think we've experiencedevery season this week.

Uh, then it's been one of thosewhat uh days where you can wear
a hoodie and some shorts and becomfortable.

(04:25):
You know, and I'm like, yeah, that's, that's us man, that that
is the Midwest.

After Hours.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
All right on the air with us right now.
I'm really excited about thisbecause not only is she a great
performer and I'm talking aboutmusic, classic pianist, belly
dancing I haven't seen that, butI've heard it's great Singer.
Did I mention?
Classic pianist, actor, andbesides all of those titles, I

(06:43):
can call her my friend andbesides all of those titles, I
can call her my friend, sowelcome back to the show Natalie
Butari.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Thank you so much.
Appreciate you coming back, sowhat?
Have you been up to in the sixmonths since I've seen?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
you, whoa, it's been six months already.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Yeah, six months yesterday.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah well, that don't sound stalkerish or nothing.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
No, no, actually that's pretty cool.
Yeah, I've been working on someprojects.
I have my own film projectright now.
I just finished revising thescript, so I've been spending a
lot of time on refining thescript with my co-writer.
But basically he started thescript and it's also my story,
it's our story, but it's acollaboration.

(07:30):
We're basically 50-50.
Yeah, but yeah, we met at afilm network meetup a few years
ago and now it's just a matterof pitching it and just getting
some funding, because I waswarned not to spend my own money
on this.
So I was warned by many people.
Some people are like no, investin yourself, but I've invested

(07:54):
a lot like thousands andthousands on my music and stuff.
So, yeah, so this is just ashort film right now, but
hopefully it's going to be a TVseries.
I would like it to be a seriesor perhaps a budget.
I mean feature film.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Now, we've talked about this before, but if you
ever need a guy in thebackground, don't have to date
me.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
I would love to have you as a role.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Oh, I'm there for you , I'm there.
That's a good excuse for me tocome back to canada yeah, maybe
you can play in one of thealiens oh yeah, because I'm
weird looking, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
No, no, it's because or you could, you could play uh,
other characters too, like um.
Yeah, there's a characterbasically, uh, you know, I I
don't want to obviously say toomuch out there, but basically
it's a sci-fi and there's in my,in my story, like this is set

(08:53):
in like 2080.
And basically elites controlthe world, including presidents.
They're all part of the elitesand and so there's a commander
of the elites, you know.
So that's one rule.
And then, yeah, and there'slike the, the aliens in in the
in the story.
They're not called aliens, they're quite something else.

(09:14):
Um f f, it I'll just tell you,it's advanced extraterrestrial
beings.
Aeb, I call it, you know andswearing.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
A swe is allowed on here, so we're all good.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Oh really, oh, fuck yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, yeah, there you go.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
My mom would not be proud of that.
She hates.
My mom is such a.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
It's a good thing she don't listen to the show, or
good.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Yeah, she made this one, though right, she made this
one right.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I said it's a good thing she don't listen to this
show that's funny.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Yeah, so I do have like yeah, I do have these the
plan to film it in september.
That's my goal.
Um, so that's one thing, andI'm about to release another
track which I was supposed toalready release but I kind of
kept it like in the vault.
But it's a very unique track.
It's so unique that it'lldefinitely be criticized because

(10:13):
it's different.
It's so different, it's liketake medieval music.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Mix it with trap music.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Okay, it's like a medieval classical trap song.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'm also using my british accent in it.
You know, I'm rapping in kindof my british accent.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
It's really weird, you know hey, it sounds good to
me already, you know.
But you know I uh, I always tryto mix different genres of
music.
I send them to you, you know.
So like you're the only otherperson next to Keith that I send
stuff to all the time.
But anything you do I saidyesterday on the social media,

(10:56):
everything you do is gold to me,you know.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yes, thank you.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
You know, like I told you yesterday, my dad, when I
have to calm him down at thehospital, I play your piano
music and honestly it toucheshim, you know.
And then next thing, you know,he just calms down.
You know so.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
I feel like I fulfilled my life purpose.
Honestly, Since you told methat I felt like my life was
complete, Like, honestly, thatmeans so much to me.
I'm not going to be emotionalright now, but yeah, that means
a lot to me, you know, especially my stuff's monetized
right and I released it a fewyears ago and I just checked my

(11:38):
balance $20.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Oh, there you go.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
I made $20 from streaming.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Right on it.
I probably streamed the shitout of your stuff, but, like you
seen Keith's acting Ro onInstagram the other day, when he
did the commercial and youcommented on it and has great
guests on that, was him sittingin the chair.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
I love it.
You guys are amazing and you'retalented with your music too.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I appreciate it.
I am going to be recording ashort commercial video parody
this weekend.
I'm filming it and going to tryto put it together, so it's
kind of like my audition for you.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
I love parodies.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Oh, this is going to be a great one.
I'm excited to see it.
Uh, so what else you've been upto like?
When's this track gettingreleased?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
yesterday.
I mean I need to.
Why did I procrastinate?
It was ready already, like bydecember.
It was already ready.
Actually, you can hear it.
I have my friend.
I have a show coming up May 3rdand there's a.
You may have noticed the flyeron my Instagram and it's like a

(12:55):
video promotion for the eventand they're playing that song.
My song is actually already outthere, it's just not officially
released.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Um, yeah, you know, I gotta, I gotta say that the
last time you were on, which wasalmost a year ago, you were
procrastinating putting out thesong, or that you were in with
ice, the, the.
Oh, what's that song, the icyone?
Yeah, yeah, because you werewaiting for your friend to put

(13:23):
that track out, you know, and,and you said it was supposed to
be out and it's supposed to comeout soon, and that was the last
episode.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Now, this episode, we get to wait for your new one oh
yeah, and the icy one is, ofcourse it's out already, but the
guy um, I tried so hard to evenget the video going.
Someone offered to do it forfree and for some reasons like
uh, it just didn't.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
It would have been nice to do a video for it, but
anyway, now, do you feel likeyou're going to be directing,
you're producing, uh, thisupcoming short film?
Do you feel like a lot ofpeople seem to let you down,
like in like I have like threeor four friends that I can
absolutely count on, you know, and a lot of people around that

(14:12):
little circle says, yeah, I'lldo it, I'll do it, and then they
disappear?
Do you find that, as aperformer or you know, like I'll
be at your concert and theynever show up?

Speaker 5 (14:26):
Oh, I like this question, this industry.
As we all know, it's justriddled with trust issues, all
kinds of stuff, right?
So, aside from being rejected alot, I haven't really felt
anything yet.
I didn't feel any betrayal yetwhen it comes to my project,

(14:49):
because it's still a bitpremature.
But perhaps once it startsgetting rolling I will see how
people act.
But so far people are allexcited and I already have
people who want to act in it andeverything, and I have a couple
producers who are willing towork with me.
So far.
So, so far so good.
But I am prepared because, yeah, there may be some no-shows,

(15:12):
who knows, right?

Speaker 1 (15:14):
And you're saying September, you're starting this
film in.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
I don't know.
Fingers crossed, I hope so.
I mean, I would like earlier.
I just need funding you.
You know, right now it's likemaybe I don't need any more than
20,000, that's for sure.
So that's like the cap.
So at least it's not crazy.
But I'm trying to like I'veactually reduced the script
originally it was 18 pages, nowit's 13 pages and I reduced some

(15:40):
things like there's no stuntsanymore, so that's already like
cut down the cost a lot, likeI've.
I basically was able to reducethe budget so far, and there's
like a few investors right nowwho are waiting for my pitch
deck.
So pitch, deck, deck, because Iknow it sounds like dick yeah,
I gotcha, hey.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
So yeah, let let me know because, like my passport's
up in November and, uh, I'lltry to, I'll try to renew it.
You know before that obviouslyyeah, you better just kidding no
, like like you have been soawesome.
I'm telling you, I'm really gladour relationship as a friend

(16:21):
has like progressed.
You know you invited me bowlingin toronto and you know, like
it was just really awesome.
You know, the first night I wasjust like I'm just going to
stay in the hotel, uh.
So, but yeah, you, you'veyou've done some amazing things
and, honestly, I I really lookforward to whatever you put out

(16:42):
there and everything's beengreat.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Oh, I'm so happy to hear that you know you're one of
my favorite people of all time.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Oh shucks.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
It's true, you're so encouraging like, truly
encouraging, genuinely, such agood support to me.
You know.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Hey, you know our conversation that we had
yesterday.
Uh, we were talking about like, like, uh, wanting to work more
and all that, and uh, our ourother co-host, jim, he gives the
quote of the week.
He sent me the quote after wealready talked and I didn't even

(17:22):
talk to him and it was weirdbecause it's what we talked
about and I was like this islike honed in and I, honestly,
when he sent it over, I thoughtof you and I'll give it after
this, at the end of this episode.

(17:44):
But we got some questions foryou.
We're going to play a littlegame, okay.
Well we're going to do some thisor that's okay with you.
So he'll give you, he'll giveyou some choices and you have to
answer, without really thinkingabout it, which one you would

(18:07):
rather do.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
All right, I love this.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
All right, keith hit it.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Okay, Since we're already on the subject of music
90s hip-hop or current hip-hop.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
Current hip-hop.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Okay, see, I myself would pick 90s I love, or
current hip-hop, current hip-hop.
Okay See, I myself would pick90s.
I love.
Ll Cool J, public Enemy.
Those are my favorites.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Oh, I love 90s hip-hop, don't get me wrong.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
No, I understand.
Yeah, you have to pick onethat's better.
It obviously doesn't mean theother one's bad, theater-sized
concerts or arena-sized concerts.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Theater-sized yeah, A theater size concerts or arena
size concerts Theater size.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah, I agree, me too .

Speaker 1 (18:49):
It's more, it's more personal.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Yeah, it's way more intimate.
I actually got to see theSmashing Pumpkins back in 96
when they were supposed to dotwo nights at the Palace at
Auburn Hills, but the secondnight wasn't selling as good as
the first, and so they gave usthe option of either nosebleed
tickets at the first night ortickets at the State Theater,

(19:12):
which was pretty much ano-brainer for me.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Oh yeah, I love them so much, I'm so jealous that you
saw them live yeah it was great.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
I mean, billy Corgan basically lives in chicago, not
too far away from me, so ohreally, his new wife, uh, she
owns a like a tea house yeah, you guys, madame zuzou's, yeah,
yeah, okay, free publicity forfor big bill, but you know, and
he owns all the wrestling.
Nwa wrestling.

(19:44):
All right, keep us up.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
Role in a major movie or number one single Role in a
major movie.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Restaurant food or home food?

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Home food.
I didn't even have to thinkabout it.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
That's good.
Okay, and with that I guessSpanish cuisine or Asian cuisine
that's hard that is yes.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
I love both Asian alright, I did that too.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
I mean, I love Spanish food.
If I had to pick one Asian goodstuff, okay, day at the beach
Spanish food.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
If I had to pick one, Asia yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Good stuff Day at the beach or day at the mall.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Day at the beach Moderately successful touring
act or extremely successfullocal act.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Moderately the first one.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Moderately.
Can you explain why?
Elaborate maybe a little aboutwhat's it?
Was it, maybe seeing the worldwould be better than just just
getting paid and having a biggeraudience?

Speaker 5 (20:56):
all right, no, you don't mean it's smaller, you
know I actually, I changed mymind yeah because touring
worldwide but not making enoughmoney would be way more of a
struggle than making good moneylike locally.
So yeah, I changed my mind.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Actually yeah, see, I kind of don't understand why
more acts don't go for that, whyyou know me, why there aren't
more, uh, bigger acts that mayberefuse to tour that would say,
well, no, if you want to see us,you got to see us here and you
know I was thinking just nowlike the bigger you are, the
more fake people you have inyour life, right, you know?

Speaker 1 (21:33):
so I and that's bad juju all together.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
So I, I wouldn't even want that yeah, no, juju, I
loved using that term see we'reon a safe way in Lake here.
Bad Juju.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
A thought-provoking conversation or mindless fun
conversation.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
Thought-provoking.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Sports cars or luxury cars?

Speaker 5 (22:00):
Luxury cars, baby.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Like what would you roll in?

Speaker 5 (22:05):
I don't care about sports much, to be honest.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
A Rolls Royce.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
Except wrestling, I love Bugattis.
I know it's the most expensivecar, but you know Bugattis.
Mclarens and Rolls Royce alsoyeah, but my favorite is and
Rolls Royce also, yeah, but myfavorite is Bugatti and
Lamborghinis.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
See you fit inside all those.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Like taller guys like us, we don't fit in the Lambos.
Oh yeah, I've ridden in aFerrari.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yeah, that's nice, yes.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
We accelerated in the you know where princess diana
died, in paris.
Yeah, we rented out a car uh,ferrari and my with my ex and he
drove it so fast, like heaccelerated so fast, that I was
like in the video, I'm likescreaming, it's, it's hilarious

(22:56):
wow, in the same place that shedied.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Yep, good thing the pappos weren't chasing you like
I loved.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
I know it's a little uh facetious, but you know what
else keith?

Speaker 3 (23:12):
okay um make someone think or make someone feel.
Oh, sometimes, when you makesomeone feel, they're not always
thinking right.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
But like I'll take my pops, for instance man, he felt
her music.
Yeah, you know he felt hedidn't have to think about it
and he got teary-eyed.
You know Like he absorbed it,it was weirdeyed.
You know like he absorbed it,it was weird wow, I wonder which
song it was you.

(23:45):
You were doing warm-ups on apiano and you were doing some
compositions on a piano onyoutube oh, like beethoven yes,
yes, beethoven oh, that's right, yeah, he called it.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
I don't know, the video guy called it warm
Beethoven.
Oh that's right, yeah, hecalled it.
I don't know, the video guycalled it warm-ups for some
reason.
That's lovely, okay, yeah, sofor me I would pick feel it's
definitely like a stronger, Ithink a stronger emotion, but
it's a great question.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
It's more bonding from far away.
You know you can make peoplefeel the music that you feel.
You can make them feel what youfeel.
It would be an incredible thing.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Yeah, like as an actor, for example.
Yeah, you know I want people tofeel emotional when they see my
acting, like feel happy, sad, whatever, because thoughts are
great, but then feelings likeit's, I think, stronger.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Because you'll remember a feeling over a
thought.
You know like every time thatTV show, that song or whatever
comes on, you're not going toremember what you were thinking,
You're going to remember howyou felt.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
That's true, very true.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
What's got you?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Actually there goes with another question.
If you remember, I askedsomebody else from Pink is in,
was on and said do you have aquestion for him?
I says yeah, do you think it'sbetter to have a flawless
performance or a convincingemotion in your, in your?
You know, I in your is thewhich.
Do you go for more?
I guess, and so I guess thatwould be that one.

(25:22):
And then I think Scott doesmore or less, and now I'm not.
I'm not asking her that.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
Lawless.
Hmm, that's the only form it'sin my eyes.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Yes, ma'am, oh, I am.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
And versus.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Convincing emotion.
Emotion maybe.
Maybe mistakes or two in thedialogue are not necessarily
done exactly two direction, butit conveys something maybe a
little stronger than what you, what you chose to go with, or do
you prefer, you know.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
I mean, obviously they're both necessary and
they're both very good, butagain, like you know, if we're
choosing one here, if we'rechoosing one here, um, I would
say flawless, because if theperformance is flawed, then I
feel like that would impact thequality of the emotion invoked

(26:14):
also I would think I would.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
I would think I would think also, like if you had the
flawless or if you got flaws inyour performance, people watch
it and if they don't edit it out, they're going to be like she
messed up you know, and theywouldn't know necessarily.
But right Right.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
OK, brutally honest or casually suggestive I tried
to not use the word suggestivehere, but I get.
But do you understand what I'msaying?
Ok, like brutal honesty or orpolite Well, you know kind of
shit like that.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
I'm a bit of a people pleaser, so the secondary one.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
OK, I understand that .
I understand that brutalhonesty.
Now I Brutal, unethical newsy.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Now I know why she's so nice to me.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
Oh my god.
No, I'm just kidding.
Okay, but I just want toclarify something though.
Okay, I am not a fake person, however, like, for example, if
someone really bothers me or Idon't like their energy or
anything, I avoid them.
Yes, yes, but I'm still nice.
However, someone crosses me ordisrespects me, I will be

(27:25):
brutally, honestly, rude totheir face.
Okay, if they're rude to megood answer so I still stand up
for myself.
Somehow you should, yeah, as Ishould, as we all should, I mean
um, I don't know, okay, uhamazing range.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
As far as singing, I guess goes uh amazing range or
undeniable hook hmm, I lovethose questions, thank you.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
That's why he's on my team.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
That's why I insisted on writing them myself, right,
scott?

Speaker 5 (28:05):
I would say the hook.
You know why?
Because a really catchy hook.
What was the word you used?
Again, Undeniable undeniable.
That means like it would besomething incredible like this,
the hook, that could make memore money than my, I think my
range and anyone could singalong to an undeniable hook,

(28:28):
whereas not everyone can catchthat range yeah, yeah, good
point you don't want them to try, not everyone.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's like a dj everybody.
You know they can have a goodset, but when they do the drop,
you know that drop just makeseverybody go wild.
You know they're going toremember that.
So, yeah, that's a good answeragain.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Yeah, I would love to have Mariah Carey's range at
her prime.
Oh jeez, yeah, I think she canhit like eight octaves.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Crazy, crazy the one they call like the whistle
octave can hit like eightoctaves, crazy, crazy.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
The one they call like the whistle octave or
something like that.
Yeah, if she busts really high, they call that something like
that.
They call it the whistle octave, I think.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
When she hits a high C, then she could bust a window
on that thing.
So that's amazing, actually, like a superpower, you know.
Like do it in a store and knockthe windows out.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Right, I haven't hit the high C in years.
I used to love cracking intothe.
Can you know what I mean?
The active puller.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Orange high C got it yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
That blackberry kind they had.
I don't even know what theycall it.
That stuff was delicious,though.
Do they have high C in Canada?
What's that?
Do they have ic in canada?
It's a juice here it's likeit's kool-aid it's like kool-aid
.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Yeah, I don't, I don't recall that name, okay,
okay no interesting high c okayyeah, it's just hi dash c oh, I
know something c, but I don'tknow if it's high c.
I think it's another c I I'mnot sure.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
You'll have to get your passport and go up there
and check it out, man, yeah, I'msupposed to be heading to the
States next Friday actually.
Really when at now?

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Well, florida, because my brother's getting
married.
Well, he's already technicallymarried, but it's their wedding.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
You know every time you say that my parents have a
place in St Cloud actually.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Oh, every time you say you're coming to the States,
I'm like, okay, she's coming toChicago.
And then I'm like, oh, florida, fuck Florida.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
I'm so sorry.
It's where my brother livesOrlando.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Right, you'll be here sooner or later.

Speaker 5 (30:44):
I know I plan to this year actually.
I'm here, so keep the ice yeah,I need to go, like California,
to take care of some music videobusiness with Snoop Dogg, but
that's another story for anothertime that means you're going to
have to come back on here,mm-hmm, and you're always
welcome.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
What else, keith, that was 14, buddy.
But I got some of the otherones that I said what I was
calling the torture questions.
See, I thought those were morelike the fun ones to answer, but
I got some, I guess, that areregular, more like would you

(31:29):
rather this or that, or you know.
I mean you got time for acouple more questions.
Yeah, okay, um 30 days of onlyhearing the same song on repeat,
or 30 days?

Speaker 5 (31:35):
of only eating the same food for every oh, 30 days
of listening to the same song.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
Because I'm such a foodie.
I mean I love music, but likeI'll be so sick of the same,
like I would not, even if I hadto eat the same thing for 30
days.
I mean, like, depends on whatit is, I guess.
But yeah, if I had to pick one,it would be the song for 30
days.
Is it all day or just once aday?
Sorry, I guess, but yeah, if Ihad to pick one, it would be the
the the song for 30 days thesame, but is it all day or just
once a day?
Sorry.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Uh, it would be whenever, I guess whenever you
listened to me or whenever youdid anything include, you know,
any television time, music time,it was the same song.
Oh yeah, oh wait, it neverreally know what song it is.
It could be like I don't know,I don't.
I would say somebody, but it's.
It's like saying something meanabout somebody that I don't
know.
So what?

(32:22):
If so long you maybe aren't allthat fond of I.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
So I have a a sort of a specific question about this
question.
Um, if you said the same meal, just one meal a day, can it be
the my favorite meal, or it hasto be something like?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
absolutely.
But that's breakfast, lunch anddinner.
That's everything you, you, youeat for the whole 30 days.
Yeah, see I guarantee, Iguarantee, after those 30 days
that ain't going to be yourfavorite food, no more right,
that was thinking how you coulddeconstruct something you know,
because I love, uh, pizza withpineapple on and I thought, well
, if you had that, then maybeyou could pull the pineapple off
and have that for breakfast andthen have something else for

(33:00):
lunch and then finish the pizzafor dinner, and it would almost
give you some variety.
But that's, that's kind ofcheating the question.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
Yeah, that's, that's what I was thinking.
Well, you know what?
I'm okay with the song choice, because I'm okay to like hearing
the same song again, again, doesn't really bother me.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
Yeah, even if I hate it Is there a song you had in
mind?

Speaker 3 (33:19):
if you had to choose one that you think you could do
it with?
Is there one you think youcould make it the whole 30 days?

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Yeah, I love this song so much.
I listen to it all the time andI'm never sick of it.
I love that song.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Awesome.
Who's the artist?

Speaker 5 (33:35):
I think his name is Charlie Black.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Okay, I'm writing it down, because I'm always looking
for stuff.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
You know this song.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
No, I don't know that song.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
I'm sure you recognize it.
I'm sure you recognize it.
It's really fun.
It's like a dance hall.
It's just so fun, it makes meso happy and I guess I'd pick
that one.
But I love all kinds of musicand and it's really a hard
question, but that's okay.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I got it written down , so as soon as we're done here,
I'm going to go find it.

Speaker 5 (34:07):
Yeah, it's a very joyful song.
It's very fun and joyful.
Yeah, gotcha Hit it.
Keith.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
All right.
Well, what would you do?
Do?

Speaker 3 (34:14):
you have one Scott, all right.
Well, what would you do?
You have one Scott?
Would it be something from thethis is your segment, man?
No, I'm just curious, whatwould you assume Take?

Speaker 1 (34:26):
one, would it be a trap Because you had some hips
on.
You know what I love the hip, tragically, tragically, hip is
like my favorite group.
You know, of course they'reCanadian.
I actually have sentimentalvalue to them and it's really

(34:46):
weird.
But no, I think, I think, uh,tragically hips, uh, it's a good
life if you don't.
Weekend is my favorite song oftheirs, so I know I don't get
tired of it.
Amazon music at the end of theyear tells me I don't get tired
of it because I play it so damnmuch.
So yeah.
This is good.
It has a really intense message.

(35:09):
You know like go somewherewhere you're needed, go
somewhere to grow, find a placeyou're needed.
It's very, very, very likemotivational that's wonderful
and the guitar is so awesome andit's ridiculous yeah, I love

(35:31):
their song ahead by a century.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Personally I love that one too yeah, I love all
like they're amazing.
Yeah, they're amazing.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Rest in peace, gord, absolutely okay, let me see
sleep in a cold room with noblankets or a hot room, on a
leather couch hot room leathercouch you're going to get sticky
on the couch though oh well,I'll wear pajamas

Speaker 5 (36:01):
oh, okay I'll wear like silky pajamas or something
light, because I love sleepingin hot heat.
I know it's weird.
Like most people like to sleepwhen it's cooler for me, I love
the heat so well.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Not like outdoors heat where it's like the sun is
scorching, but like when I'm Ilike to be warm, you know yeah
yeah see we have the airconditioner going in a bedroom
all winter long because my wifeinsists on sleeping in an ice
cold room wow see, yeah, I knowsome people are like that, like
yeah, it's um, it's veryinteresting so it's not my

(36:37):
preference.
I would.
I would prefer at least maybesomewhere in the middle of that.

Speaker 5 (36:41):
I'm sure you have some blankets all set up.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
You wouldn't believe the amount.
You wouldn't believe the amount.
And my mom makes blankets as ahobby, so there's even more.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Oh, perfect, that's good to read.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Final two questions, Nat Okay.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Watch a concert where the singer's mic is too low to
hear them, or the same concertwhere someone is singing behind
you too loud that's annoying, no, no definitely the the first
one, because because theperson's voice that's too loud
it's gonna really distract me,but at least if it's quiet.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
I mean, if it's not a good quality sound, at least
it's better than hearing someother right, oh, I've been in
both situations.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
I saw imperial teen and the main person.
You could not hear their micand this was a club which is
like a club.
Club is very small enough towhere I could talk to him while
they're sad.
I says, hey, man, I can't hearyou, so I don't think anybody
can hear you.
And he says I think it's whereyou're standing, maybe walk
around the club and here.
And then like, third time hewas after finishing the song and

(37:47):
he was like thank you.
And I says, man, we can't hearyou.
And then he's, you know, insisted that it was where I was
standing and I turned aroundlike to Rest of the audience,
says can anybody else hear him?

Speaker 1 (37:57):
And they all said no, and then Keith got kicked out.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Yeah, exactly, oh wow .

Speaker 3 (38:06):
Yeah, that must have ruined the experience a little
bit.
It wasn't the greatest, I'll behonest.
Okay, we got one more then.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yep, last one, make it great.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
Let me see Watch a movie in a theater with a kid
kicking your chair the wholetime or a dude laying way back
too much in your chair the wholetime.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
Like leaning back, like in front of me.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
The person in front of you is leaning back way way
too far.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Say like if you were on an airplane.
This is the situation I'mthinking of the person in front
of you got their damn chairpushed back leaning and it's
almost on your knee, especiallywhen you got your tray down, or
some little brat behind youkicking the back of your seat.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
No, definitely the brat kicking the seat.
I cannot take that Someone infront of me, no problem, I'm
short anyway, so I'll put upwith it, but anyone kicking my
seat, it puts me in severe ragemode.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Oh jeez yeah.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
So definitely no doubt there.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Do not piss the Egyptian off.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
I'll release my snake on them.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
How's Bella doing?

Speaker 5 (39:18):
Oh yeah, she's good.
She's like 12 years old now.
She's good yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
You know my dad.
He kept looking at the videowith you with Bella on their
wrist, and he's like that lookslike a snake.
I go you're right, that is asnake.
And he goes it's just sittingthere.
And I go I know that's what theI got excited and hit the
stupid space with her.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
She didn't like the story.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
No like my dad seen you, you know, and you were like
dancing, you know, and he'slike wow, foxy.

Speaker 5 (39:57):
Oh, wow, that's so cool.
Yeah, like my snake, didn't?
She didn't move around.
She just maybe she was scared, but she like clung on to me and
she wouldn't move around.
She just maybe she was scared, but she like clung on to me and
she wouldn't move.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
So you know, in that that video did you have blonde
extensions and or did you dyeyour hair blonde at the time?
Oh really, it looked reallygood on you.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
You've done a few things in acting.
What's pushed you outside likeyour boundaries?
I know Hottie had to push yououtside your boundaries, your
comfort zone, a little bit.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
But how was that?
I mean, you got Pip Barnett ina bear costume and they got the
bad boy sessions.
Does your parents watch thatand say you know, agree with
that role?
Or because you said thatthey're very conservative.
But do they?
Do they not like hottie?

Speaker 5 (40:55):
well, my mom actually watched the episodes when she
was visiting here and we hadlike a theater thing going and
and they played a few episodesand she saw him and she went,
but then she didn't make a bigdeal of it but she, she saw the,
the sexual innuendos and allthat.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
So she was like hmm, but she wasn't like too pissed
off is there any like uh bucketlist, things that you would love
to do or collaborate with orsing in a venue?
Is there anything on yourbucket list?

Speaker 5 (41:30):
oh yeah, I want to sing in all the big venues, like
you name it, like I'll sing inany big venue.
I just want to be out there.
Honestly, I just want to get arole, like even if it's a voice
acting role or a commercial or amovie, I just want to get
something, because so far, thelast two years, I've been
auditioning and got nothing.
So actually, wait a sec, I waspart of something.

(41:53):
Yeah, it's a very interestingmovie.
Actually it's a short film,though.
It's a very low-budget shortfilm, but they upgraded a bunch
of us because we had to dosomething like kind of culty.
It was like a cult thing kindof, but in a very interesting
way.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
So that was kind of exciting but you were in sucks
to be us as well as sabine youknow what?

Speaker 5 (42:18):
yeah, where's that?
At yeah, like ideally it wassupposed to be out but due to a
lot of issues she had to gothrough, it's being delayed, but
she says she's working on it,so there's hope.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
You know, I've yet to ask her to come on the show,
and I should, because she doessome really cool stuff as well.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
She's awesome.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
And I know she's a friend of yours and I'm like
waiting for her to announce thatcomes out, because Trish is in
that too, isn't she?

Speaker 5 (42:47):
Yeah, I'm just hoping , I'm just hoping.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
It looked really good from the still pictures.
I mean, you vampires wereeffing gorgeous.
You know like it looked reallycool, the pictures that Sabine
posted and I was like man, I gotto watch that.
I got to get that whole cast on.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
Yeah, I played him human in it, but it's a really
funny scene.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
Now are those short episodes as well, or
normal-sized episodes.

Speaker 5 (43:20):
Actually, I don't remember.
To be honest, I think they'reshorter.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
It's been a while since she filmed a couple years
but definitely waiting for thatWhile you're on with this, I
don't have any more questions atthe moment, but I just want to
give you what our co-host saidfor a quote, just so you can see
we're all on the same vibe here.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
I'm just pulling it up here.
Yep, on the same vibe here.
Yeah, I'm just pulling it uphere.
Yeah, so his quota this week isgood.
Things are coming down the road.

Speaker 5 (43:56):
Just don't stop walking.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Good things are coming down the road and I kept
telling you good things arecoming, you know, and then he's
sending that and I'm like and Ieven told keith, I'm like, yeah,
freaking a like I just told, Ijust told her that good things
are coming to war and uh, thatwas only between you and I.
And then jim sent that quote andI was like, wow, like we're one

(44:18):
in nature here yeah, wow, thisis very uh serendipitous yes,
yes, like, and I was like thisis blowing my mind because, like
the things we like, yesterday, just things were happening and
it was really awkward to me,like a song I haven't heard

(44:41):
since the 80s popped on in fivedifferent locations and I was
wondering if it was a message.
It's the group, mr and Mr'sBroken Wings.
I have not heard that songsince the 80s and I went to the
gas station I was playing.
I went to work it was playing.
I went to the hospital it wasplaying.
And it was really weird whichsong?

Speaker 5 (45:05):
Is it the Broken Wings?

Speaker 1 (45:07):
It's called Broken Wings Wow.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
I haven't had that song in my head since you told
me that.
I'm just walking around all daywith the bass line going in my
head Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
Come on man, boom, boom boomboom, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
And then, like I was talking to one of my drivers and
keith, you know, like twoseparate conversations, and they
both threw the same word at meat the same time in two
different conversations and itwas really and it just stopped
and I was like what the hell isthis about, you know, because my
driver never just says really, you know.
So I was like what the hell isthis about, you know, because my
driver never just says really, you know.

Speaker 5 (45:48):
So I was like man, this is weird.
I believe that these littlenuggets of coincidences are sort
of a slip.
I feel like it's like the crackof the manifestation, the
frequency and manifestationprocess, like because sometimes
when you think about somethingand you keep thinking, it

(46:09):
happens.
But it doesn't always happenright away, but sometimes
there's a subject that comes outof nowhere and then your friend
suddenly talks about it like orlike you think of someone you
haven't seen in so long and thenthey call you or like like.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
I feel like those are like little cracks in this
continuum of you know, and thisis why I told you, I feel, when
I and I think about you, thatthat sounds kind of creepy, but
like I think, yeah, I know goodthings are coming for you.
You know you are too damntalented to to it it for it just

(46:45):
to be sitting on the shelf inlife, everything that you do is
awesome, like acting, the pianoplaying, my God.

Speaker 5 (46:55):
Oh, thank you so so much.
It means a lot to me and andother people do recognize it too
.
Just you know, and it's great, and I shouldn't let anything
negative discourage me, that'sfor sure.
I'll just keep going Because Ilove it anyway.
I love acting, I love music.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Just throw that bad juju out the window and
concentrate on the friends thatare feeling this vibe and jump
on this vibe with us, becauseyou're the person that we're
like.
I don't know, man, I I justknow it's coming for you, I just
know it is oh, fingers crossed,uh, may god's will be done like

(47:37):
I said, if you get too big, uspublicist right here and and I
would do it for you.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
Oh well, you know what?
You're already number one on mylist.
You know, if that ever comes up, you'll be my publicist.
It's sold.

Speaker 1 (47:59):
You're hired.
You heard it here.
I'm leaving that in.
No, but, natalie, I reallyreally appreciate you popping
back on with us.
I know time's precious, I knowyou're a night owl too, you know
so, but we we appreciate you,and Jim said he was sorry that

(48:22):
he was unable to be here to talkto you today with us.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
Well, that's okay, I forgive him.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
I'm just kidding, and for those people that may have
not listened to the first timeNatalie was on, it was May 10th.
You can find her at InstagramP-H-E-R-O-I-N-E Farrowin.
You can find her on YouTube.

(48:51):
Watch her videos.
They're incredible.
Like her, follow her, share herwith your friends.
That sounds kind of greasy too, man.
Sorry.

Speaker 5 (49:01):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
No, but his mind right there.
You're the one that said it.
I did, hey, I said share withmy share with your friends.
But uh, go, supporter, you knowwhat?
And I I believe you shouldstart a gofundme and let's get
this thing kicked off with forfunding for your.
I meant there's been a coupleother canadian actresses that

(49:23):
come on the podcast with theirGoFundMe and they got their
stuff filmed.

Speaker 5 (49:30):
So you know, you know what to do that.
I'm on it because the fear offailure is what's been holding
me back, but I'll tell that fearto F to fuck off.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
There you go and a way of looking at it possibly is
, uh, a monetary successfulactress and a less than
successful actress monetarily isstill an actress.
You're still in the game.
I mean, you're still making, you're still doing what you love
, you still what you know, the,the money part you know, I mean
is is maybe a side thing of ofbeing who you want to be.

(50:04):
You know, if that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (50:06):
No, absolutely Same with music, like yeah, I'm not
making a lot, but that's okay,I'm just, it's just my love, my
passion.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Right, well, so do you want to be a musician?
You want to be a rock star?
Because it's really, they'revery different.

Speaker 5 (50:18):
right, they go hand in hand, but they are very
different yeah, I don't know ifI want to be too famous, though,
but like I wouldn't mind beingknown enough that I'm making a
good living, that's yeah, getting your bills paid to do it
, that's the dream, right well, you don't want people like
running up to you like uh,asking for autographs and then
going ahead and ebay and sellingall those making money off of

(50:40):
you, like a lot of artists do.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
That's just ridiculous, but uh yeah good,
good things are coming for you,man and I.
I you're like one person that Ireally feel that oh man, that
means so much to me.

Speaker 5 (50:54):
Thank you so much, and thanks for having me on your
podcast again.

Speaker 1 (50:57):

thank you enough and once youyou get the GoFundMe started,
you have to come back on here sowe can get that promoted.

I'm here whenever you need me, so don't hesitate to
ask if you have any questions orneed assistance.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
And my AI just starts talking to me.
Man.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
That's great, See.
That's foreshadowing forwhatever the upcoming AI show.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
You know, I didn't even ask her about AI what she
felt about it, because somepeople are cool with it.
Ask her about AI what she feltabout it Cause some some people
are cool with it, like like mine.
I write the lyrics and thenhave them polish it and and
music and sing it.
I can't sing, so uh what'd youthink?

Speaker 3 (51:55):
Here's the thing for any of the people that have, uh,
something to say about it theyhave the opportunity to do
something better to prove thatit's not as good.
Do you know what I mean?
Yeah, I got it man yeah, I just, I just saw, if you, don't like
it, make it better there you go.
I just saw somebody I would say, well, it was.

(52:16):
Uh, jimmy page was talkingabout it.
As much as I love jimmy page, Ikind of thought, well, bro, the
last cool thing you did waslike 40 fucking years ago.
So you, you know right, youhave again.
You have every opportunity toprove that your licks are better
than theirs, and I look forwardto hearing that.
And if you don't, then hey, what can you do?

Speaker 1 (52:36):
And even on his revamped Led Zeppelin with John
Adams' son.
They were still doing thatstuff from 45 years ago, exactly
, you know.
And then him and robert planttried doing something together
and that didn't work out toogreat.
Those two, I really believe, don't get along too good right
but yeah, again, she's alwaysamazing to have on the show and

(53:00):
so I look forward to having herback on because I really want to
see this, this project, gothrough, not just because she
said, hey, I want you in it.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
Yeah, you get to play an alien or an AEB.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
Yeah, yeah, as she put it, but it'll be fun and uh,
yeah, man, again, jim will bewith us, hopefully next week.
That's all I got, man.

tuning in at the end of the show, what's wrong with you?

Speaker 3 (53:37):
uh, you can check out keith's acting skills on tiktok
I start every show with thelast five minutes that that way
I'm not disappointed.

Speaker 1 (53:47):

They start from the back andwork their way forward, man.

Speaker 3 (53:53):

Speaker 1 (53:54):
So good things are coming down the road, just don't
stop walking.
That was Jim's quote and yeah,I love that one too.
It's just really awkward andweird because, again, that's
what I was talking about.
He threw that at me.
So we got some other gueststhat I'm in talks with.
I've mentioned a couple to youand I'm really trying to get

(54:19):
this one big guest on who saidthat they would be on, but then
I lost contact with them.
So hopefully that all uh,there's a lot of things going on
in the world, you know withwith canada and the us, and you
know what I don't do politics, religion so you know what.
Don't be mad at me, you know,uh, you know, but yeah, I love

I love those questions becauseyou know, like whenim asked some
of those questions I thinkabout too.
That's why I like listening,because if I'm talking a lot or
if I'm doing it, then I'm notreally thinking about the

(55:16):
question, you know, because it'swritten in front of me.
But you did, you did awesome,so I get.
You'll make jim proud I hope so.
