In this episode Lisa Raynes talks to global award-winning inclusion culture expert Marsha Ramroop.

Join us on ‘the Pride Road Architects podcast’ as we navigate the intricate landscape of RIBA's CPD core curriculum, providing insights, expert interviews, and valuable tips for architects seeking to thrive in the ever-evolving field of architecture.

In this episode Lisa Raynes talks to inclusion culture expert Marsha Ramroop.

Marsha is a global award-winning inclusion culture expert, with a passion for driving change in the built environment and engineering sectors.

She sees these two areas as pillars of how we create our societies, and that if she can influence those sectors to be inclusive, she can more strategically influence the creation of a more inclusive world.

Her book Building Inclusion: Practical Guide to Inclusion in Architecture & the Built Environment, is being published by Routledge in August this year.

Her best-practice solutions are rooted in CQ – cultural intelligence – the behavioural capability to work and relate effectively across difference.

She was the inaugural Director of Inclusion and Diversity at the Royal Institute of British Architects, before which she had a 30-year career in broadcasting, including 20 years at the BBC.

You can pre-order her new book 'Building Inclusion' here https://www.buildinginclusion.info/

6️⃣ Sustainable Architecture

7️⃣ Inclusive Environments

8️⃣ Places, Planning, and Communities
