About Jacquie Doucette: Jacquie Doucette holds undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy and spent 40 years working with Canada’s Department of National Defence, both in uniform and as a civilian. Through her journey, she discovered that life—and retirement—are about much more than simply leaving a job. In 2019, while house-sitting in Mexico, Jacquie stumbled into podcasting and launched Beyond Retirement, a show that ran for 264 episodes and featured conversations with both experts and everyday individuals about building a fulfilling life outside the 9-to-5. Now fully living her Beyond Retirement lifestyle, Jacquie helps others design meaningful post-career lives filled with curiosity, freedom, and purpose. She enjoys traveling and international house/pet sitting, made possible thanks to the love and support of her husband and two adult daughters, who keep things running smoothly at home while she’s away.
