Tom Nelson is the president of Made to Flourish, a network dedicated to empowering pastors to integrate faith, work, and economics in their congregations. He has served as the senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Kansas City for over 30 years. Nelson holds a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is a council member of The Gospel Coalition. He's the author of several books including The Flourishing Pastor. Nelson grew up in Kansas as a farm boy 'living close to the land' and lost his father at aged 8. That same year he gave his life to Christ.
