Mt. Sinai (Exodus 19-20)
- How many of the Ten Commandments do you remember (without looking at them)?
- God’s holiness and grace are demonstrated in His giving Israel the Ten Words. Before He does, he reminds them of his goodness (19:3-6). Why do think God did that before giving them the Ten Words? How can we keep from forgetting God’s goodness to us?
- Compare Exodus 19:6 with 1 Peter 2:9. How are we a kingdom of priests today?
- Read Hebrews 12:18-24. What are the contrasts between the two mountains? Why do we prefer law over grace at times?
