What is a Soul Plan?
The idea of a Soul Plan is apopular one.
Who wouldn't like to think thatwhatever happens in life isn't
random, but has meaning?
There are a few different ideasout there about what a Soul
Plan is, but the one we'lldiscuss today is based on the
work I did as a channel and pastlife expert in the
international bestsellers byRobert Schwartz your Soul's Plan

, your Soul's Gift and yourSoul's Love.
When I talk about your SoulPlan, I'm talking about your
pre-birth planning.
What's that?
That's when your Soul I alsocall it your Higher Self decides
what your challenges, planning,opportunities and contracts
will be while you're on theEarth plane, in a particular

body and timeline.
And they do it together withyour guides, angels and the
other souls you encounter inthis incarnation.
Why is knowing your Soul Planimportant?
When you realize that the plansyou made before you were born
include all the tough stuff youhave to go through from
relationship roller coasters tohealth challenges, financial ups

and downs, career tests youname it you stop thinking God or
fate or karma really has it infor me and start asking how can
I take all these things thathave happened to me and use them
to grow and make my life better?
Think the first way and youfeel powerless, put upon.
Think the Soul Plan way and yourealize that you're the

engineer driving your lifeexperiences, no matter where the
train track may lead.
It also helps to remember thatthis body you're in, this
personality you've chosen, islike a costume, a coat, in your
closet.
It's a part that your HigherSelf has chosen to play.
I often tell people that theSoul and its lives on Earth are

like a hand in fingers.
Think of the palm of your handas your entire Soul, everything
that you ever were, are or willbe.
How is that possible?
Remember that the Soul livesoutside of time and space.
Now look at each of yourfingers.
See how much smaller they arethan the entire palm.

That's what an incarnation islike.
Smaller and more limited Partof the Soul comes down and
animates this physicalincarnation from birth to death
and then brings back to theentire Soul self the lessons and
experiences of that single lifeto integrate into the Soul's
understanding of the universe.

The other example I use is theidea of an actor and his roles.
Let's take the actor Matt Smith.
He was beloved as the eleventhdoctor in the BBC series Doctor
who, but when he was done withthat character he changed out of
the Doctor's Fez and Bow Tieand took on the role of young
Prince Philip, husband to QueenElizabeth II, in the first two

seasons of the Netflix seriesthe Crown.
And when he was done with thatand hung up the Prince's naval
uniform and flying goggles, hebecame the malevolent Daemon
Targaryen in the series House ofthe Dragon.
Now, the Doctor, the Prince andthe Dragon Rider are three
distinct characters.
They don't know each other,they aren't influenced by each

other, they are wildly differentin personality, but they are
all created through the actingtalents of Matt Smith, and when
Matt takes off his costume andmakeup, he is still who he was
before inhabiting thosecharacters.
That's the way it is for soulsand incarnations.
Our souls select the type ofpersona to inhabit, what their

background will be and whothey'll meet on the stage of
life to enable them to fulfillthe goals of learning and
experience.
They may choose to be male orfemale, rich or poor, healthy or
sickly, genius or ordinary,loved or hated, but no matter
what, the personality and thesituations it encounters on
earth will perfectly fit thelife story that the soul wishes

to understand.
The idea that the soulvoluntarily sets up a difficult
life can be hard to understand.
Why wouldn't we stay out of thebody, where everything is so
much better, you might think?
Because an earth-based life,with all its duality, choice and
limited scope, brings light andcomprehension in a way that an

existence completely outside oftime and space won't be able to.
There's the famous example ofthe white room.
If you're in a room where thewalls are white, the floor is
white, the furnishings andeverything contained within it
are white, how will youunderstand what white is in the
first place?
The truth is, you can't.

(05:56):
Just as you'd need a color toshow you what the opposite idea
of white really means, you needseparation to understand the
whole.
That's why, when you decideyour soul plan in a pre-birth
planning session, you choosethings that aren't always happy
or pleasant or fulfilling.
You set challenges for yourselfand you agree to the concept of

(06:18):
free will.
Free will within the personalityis what makes a soul plan
really work.
The child who's given a subjectto learn but has no chance to
get it wrong or question whatit's taught merely parrots back
what it's told.
It doesn't learn why somethingis true or why learning it is

(06:38):
better than not learning it orlearning it incorrectly.
Free will allows us to learnagain by choosing which path to
follow from life moment to lifemoment.
In a challenging situation, dowe choose to move forward and
work with it in compassion andunderstanding, or do we fall
into fear and mistrust?
The more we move towardunderstanding a situation on all

the positive scales trust,faith, compassion, gratitude,
fearlessness, creativity themore we move toward what our
soul truly is and the highestgoals it was hoping to achieve
as it made its pre-birth plans.
We understand the white room ofoneness because we've been out
of it and in the world with allof its differing colors of

difficulties, duality andseparation, but we choose to
move toward oneness again.
Free will is choice and usingour free will signifies we're
willing to own a situation andour work within it.
All of these lessons engineeredwithin our Soul Plan remind us
of who we are at our core, notthese personality coats with

(07:48):
their prejudices, limitationsand difficulties.
The more we remember here andnow who we truly are, the more
we can bring heaven to earth anddemonstrate to others that they
too are souls playing roles,rather than these limited beings
who live for a few decades anddisappear.
Because when you go right backto Source, we're all connected.

We're all, if you will,inter-beings, and the lessons
and healings that happen to onesoul within one existence bring
back lessons and healing to theentirety of all we are.
