Teofimo Lopez outclassed Arnold Barboza by Unanimous Decision as Barboza suffered his first career loss. Lopez improves to 22-1 after winning the majority of rounds. Lopez dominated Barboza showing him that he was better in every aspect of the fight from pushing the pace to counter punching ability. Now with the win against Barboza, many speculate who’s next for Teofimo?
Devin Haney defeated Jose Ramirez by Unanimous Decision coming back after taking a whole year off. Haney and Ramirez put on a boring fight but it was Haney’s Defense and counters on the ropes that frustrated Ramirez the entire fight. Now with Haney 32-0 could Garcia be next or does Haney pursue a different path
In the main event and in a huge upset, Rolando Romero defeats Ryan Garcia by Unanimous Decision. Rolly now 17-2 caught Ryan early with a double left hook sending Garcia on the Matt. From there Rolly limited Ryan from throwing any KO punches resulting in Rolly’s shocking upset. What does this fight do for Rolly’s future and what does this mean for Garcia vs Haney 2?
