Doug Noll started as an attorney before walking away from $10 million to pursue his passion and purpose: de-escalation and peacemaking. Doug is the co-founder of the Prison of Peace project. The project involves teaching inmates with life or long-term sentences the emotional skills and tools to be peace makers. The program has had outstanding results including reducing violence within prisons and a 0% recidivism rate among program graduates who get out on parole. This model not only provides hope for the criminal justice system, but reveals what more we can do as individuals to be better listeners for our friends, family members, partners, and children.
