Join us for an inspiring episode featuring Luke Urick, a former United States Marine Corps Veteran Scout Sniper with three deployments to Iraq. After returning home, Luke became deeply involved in supporting fellow veterans, leading to the creation of the Montana Vet Program (MVP). MVP's mission is to offer Veteran Led Therapeutic Adventure Trips (VLTAT), promoting healing through camaraderie, physical activity, adventure, and tough-minded healing.
At the heart of MVP's VLTATs is their 75lb. "Pig-Egg," a bag containing the nearly 7,000 dog-tags from the men and women who honorably gave their lives serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. This symbolic weight is carried by the Veteran Team Leaders and participants on hikes or floats over moderate distances (20-30 miles).
