The Happiness Perspective, Transforming Physical Trauma Into Hope, Happiness and Connection, is a book written by my friend Farris Fakhoury. It chronicles his experiences as a physical therapist working in a rehabilitation hospital, treating individuals who have had life changing physical traumas. Over time he noticed that his patients, who had the right perspective, were able to heal physically and mentally much faster. In the book, he explores their common threads, and this has changed the entire way he sees healing. "I picked a career in medicine so that I could help others. Never in a million years did I ever think that my patients would help me so much more than I could ever help them." Couldn't we all use a little more happiness in our lives, especially at this point? I hope you enjoy our conversation.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
