Sepps, the emerging recording artist and songwriter hailing from Toronto with roots in East Africa, particularly Ethiopia, has recently graced the music scene with his latest masterpiece single, "Animosity." Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres such as Rap/Hip Hop, Soul, Slow Jams, RnB, Pop, Reggae, and Dancehall, Sepps has cultivated a unique sound characterized by a groove-inducing flow.
The journey into the world of music for Sepps began at the age of 9 when he started penning down lyrics, harboring a steadfast determination to carve a career in the industry. From an internship at Koch Records to behind-the-scenes roles and participation in an apprenticeship program, Sepps' experiences played a pivotal role in the establishment of his independent record label, "Da Commission."
Maintaining independence in his musical pursuits, Sepps operates as the sole proprietor of his record label, diligently working on numerous projects to ensure their presence on various platforms. Despite facing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sepps successfully unveiled his debut EP/Album, "Miscellaneous," on September 9, 2022, and dropped the attention-grabbing single "My Enemy" on June 26, 2023, which garnered significant global attention and streams across various platforms.
The latest addition to Sepps' musical repertoire, "Animosity," was released on November 9, 2023, as part of the promotional lead-up to his upcoming album. The track has already started gaining traction, creating heightened anticipation for the imminent release. Sepps, with his distinctive style and unwavering dedication, is undeniably making waves as a rising star in the Canadian music scene.
